Mcdonalds in Cardiff

Absolutely disgusting ordered 3 meals and no burgers were in the order just chips!!!! This was done on purpose so will be seeking legal action hopefully someone listens and closes it down all pigs in McDonald's

Mac Donald staff are rude, customer service staff are lazy. Do not order of the Macdonald's app for delivery to a hotel as the company is partnered with Uber eats and they can not follow instructions to deliver to a hotel. We never received are food and no attempt to deliver the food was made. Macdonald's are refusing to refund the payment and Uber eats are unable to contact and refusing to refund to. A big scam and will never use their services again.

Would have left a review/feedback on McDonalds website rather than a public forum but impossible to find where to leave on their website. Visited the St Mary's Street store but left because it was filthy. Queen Street is little better, ordered a sausage & egg mcmuffin meal, the mcmuffin wasn't very warm, the hash brown tasted of fat, the coffee was ok. Got the distinct impression the whole meal was a leftover. & the toilets were filthy. Unpleasant meal

After the Sabaton concert on 16th, myself and friends really needed food due to the late time. None of us had been drinking and we really wish we had to wash out the horrendous taste of what is passed off as food. Worst is we did not even get what we ordered! Machines did not give a receipt and the security was actively dragging people out once they got a bag of 'someone's' food. Paid extra of items that was not in bags, and refused entry back in to correct. Walked back to hotel and binned everything but the burger (that was super peppery) and the kids sized McFlurry (that I had paid for the extra large). Have officially sworn with my friends to avoid ALL McDonalds after that experience. If you are in the area, turn the corner and go to Popeyes which is far nicer and a much more reasonable price, with vastly more welcoming, trained staff.

I have stopped going to this McDonalds. Always a long wait time, and the food is always cold or old. Your best bet is to travel to the St Mary's Street branch which is a lot better than this one.

An absolute dirty place to eat . People’s finished food left all over the place & on the floors . No one cleaning ……….,……..

DO NOT EAT FROM THAT PLACE - besides bribing the Food Standards agents to pass the hyegine inspections because the restaurant is filthy and full of rats, are refusing to pay the employees their holidays, constant bullying.

I recently spent the day in Cardiff with my sister and nephews starting the day with a visit to Bute Park. We spent several hours at the park and enjoyed a picnic and a ride on the water taxi, followed by some shopping in the indoor market, the arcades, Queen Street and the St David's Shopping Centre. At tea time the boys fancied a McDonald's. On arrival the restaurant was very busy with almost every table taken. There were lots of staff who did their best to clear the tables of rubbish left by previous diners. We used the self service machine to order two Chicken Legend meals, one Happy Meal and a Big Mac meal. Our food was prepared within about 10 minutes and the girl who served us was very polite, ensuring that our orders were correct. The food was presented well and tasted really nice.

overall, disgusting. so i went with my mother after going to primark and marcs & Spencers.by the way, Big Tasty is currently in season when i am writing my review. first of,f to many delivero drivers. now i know they have to get their food to their customers, but they were leaving their bikes allover the place and got very annoying. 2 it was very dark and dingey, it was just too dark. now our experience with the food. so i am a pickey eater, me and my mother order 2 big tastys with bacon, but i asked for mine to be plain (bun,cheese,meat,cheese,bun) and my mother had it normal. they gave both of us no cheese. not very good, very dry.

First things first, my number was not on bored and made me feel threatened and not included. there was flys crawling all over the place!! can you imagine the the disease the flys are making and there worrying about corona virus. i went to sit with my gals and this rude obnoxious posh bint came over and moved me away from my friends. i holly wintle has severe separation anxiety from lara ( second name is disclosed ) and tayah rogers and this put me in a lot of distress. this women has torn my day apart.

Upon trying to enter the McDonald’s store in Cardiff Queen Street I was confronted with a bouncer who asked me to wear a mask to which I’m exempt.. I showed him my exemption he was extremely rude to me said I need to wear it which legally I don’t, I did produce it to keep the peace … I then walked into store to be called names and mocked !! When I left I thanked him to be polite his reply was whatever… McDonald’s this member of door staff it’s an absolute in Embarrassment to your team on a power trip !! From the other reviews that surely obvious … apart from this the food was great thanks…..

Myself and my partner visited and a bouncer in the McDonalds was homophobic to us. We were both stood on the yellow sticker on the floor waiting for our food after ordering together. We were doing the same as two other groups of people waiting for their order. Whilst waiting, with my boyfriend cuddling me, your bouncer told us to stand two metres apart from each other. Confused, we said we were in the same bubble, ordered & entered together. He proceed to say that we need to stand apart anyways. 1. He did not ask any another other couple or group in the restaurant that were stood on the sticker together to do this, only us. 2. By separating us from the sticker, he was increasing the risk of covid spreading as we were then closer to other people. This is clearly an act of homophobia towards us both, with not asking anyone else & in fact breaking your own restaurant covid rules. This is totally unacceptable, leaving myself awake all night from the distress of this act, then later making me vomit from the stress and anxiety it caused. Not only to mention your restaurant upholds the values of inclusivity, I am just speechless this happened and have made a complaint with the same information for this to be properly resolved. I just want other queer couples to be aware of this act.

Just ordered a meal today the 6th of may at lunch time. When I was handed my take away I helped myself and took a straw that was litteraly from a pile accessible to any customers right on the front counter. I’ve got told off by that tiny rude cashier probably asian woman with glasses. In that case do not put all your straws out there for people to be able to grab them if you don’t want them to be touched... Specially in maccies it’s well known that staff always forget something

Amazing customer service but awful bouncer they don’t know what apical distance is they also wouldn’t let my freind in because they commented about the bad apprance, no matter what job they still should be dress appropriately, and act that way! I guess it’s a different story for a fast food

No-one ever takes notice of you if you need to order at the counter before 9am or after 9pm. Always an awkward experience as I’m guaranteed to get ignored for at least 5-10 minutes whilst people at the counter and at their stations stare at me like I’m some kind of Alien whilst I awkwardly try and get their attention. I understand it’s McDonald’s and not silver service but customer service skills are always really poor. The only reason why I go here is because it’s the only place open early enough on my way to work and only place open late enough on my way back.

Not one please, thank you or smile from anyone. Special cooked to order just about warm, same for fries. Need to get their act together big time. Won't return.

Visité este McDonalds hoy a las 6 pm y me sentí obligado a escribir una reseña, ya que fue realmente una experiencia horrible. Nos dieron la bebida equivocada en el mostrador de recolección; faltaba parte de nuestro pedido; las hamburguesas estaban frías, ni siquiera tibias, lo que no es sorprendente teniendo en cuenta que el personal del mostrador de recolección tardó mucho en armar los pedidos y algunos parecían pasar mucho tiempo mirando las bandejas y los pedidos. El chocolate caliente pedido no sabía a chocolate caliente, solo agua tibia con leche. El restaurante estaba extremadamente sucio. Nos sentamos arriba en el restaurante y había basura debajo de las mesas, basura en las mesas, las escaleras estaban sucias, los baños estaban sucios. Se derramó un poco de batido en el piso, lo que era un peligro de resbalón claro y contamos a 6 miembros del personal que lo pasaron por alto y lo ignoraron, a pesar de que había una estación con servilletas justo al lado del derrame: 2 de estos miembros del personal eran 'limpiadores' del área del restaurante y 1 supusimos que podría haber sido el gerente. Este es un restaurante McDonalds muy concurrido, pero está a kilómetros de distancia de otros restaurantes McDonalds realmente concurridos que hemos visitado. Definitivamente, evitaría este restaurante McDonalds y encontraría otro lugar mejor para comer. . .

Fui a McDonalds ayer por la tarde, estaba muy ocupado, pedí 4 Mcflurry, no hay problema con eso, la chica dijo que esperaran en el mostrador 2, el número en el boleto era el número 77, esperé y esperé a las personas que venían detrás de mí y ordenaron comidas completas los estaban obteniendo, los números comenzaban a superar los cientos hasta el 112, allí vi 2 ráfagas en el estrado donde supuestamente las 2 chicas preparaban los postres entre uno poniéndose el lápiz labial repetidamente y mirándose en el otro espejo comida en su boca puso otros 2 allí, esperé más de 20 minutos y luego les pregunté a uno de ellos dónde estaban las ráfagas, ella los recogió, agitó el uno y dijo ohh, ahí estás, todavía es espeso mi respuesta si crees que estoy tomando la respuesta es No, quiero unos recién preparados, ¿por qué, oh, por qué estos niños en estos trabajos no están siendo supervisados por una persona mayor, la mayoría de estos niños ni siquiera pueden ponerse un par de calcetines sin importar que preparen algo para comer! ! ! ! ! !

it's not a bad place, but often it's ruined when it's been rushed out, giving off a strange taste. Depends on who's doing it, or if they doing it fresh, or already heated, waiting

Tuvimos helados pero me decepcionó que el sabor crujiente normal no estuviera disponible. Es una lástima que nuestro huevo de crema Cadbury de sabor favorito solo esté disponible en Pascua. ¿Seguramente podría añadirse como permanente? ! También una opción de salsas con sabor a helados sería bienvenida.¡Muy recomendable!

Went here late at night. The food was dry and lukewarm. Will not be returning to this mcdonalds,shame really

Popped into McDonalds on Queen Street in Cardiff for a quick lunch or so I thought. I managed to create my order on the self ordering system and then waited with a hoard of other people for my food. There were no tables as the waiting area now taking up most of the ground floor, which is great for those people without a double buggy or child/children in tow. Thinking I would be served after no 90 as my ticket was 91....nope had to wait until all the quicker orders were given out first. Whatever happened to order, pay and get your food. The whole idea of popping in and eating in a fast food restaurant. I asked on my order for takeaway as there was no chance of my getting a table and my food came with no bag. The guy serving me look nearly as peed of as I was and given the chaos that is now the MacDonald's experience I really don't blame him

Bien impresionado con el personal atento y servicial, que hizo todo lo posible para acomodar a 30 niños. Nada fue demasiado problemático: bebidas derramadas, comida caída en el piso, limpieza de mesas y pisos, excelente servicio al cliente. Bouncers think they are the bomb, like they’re mr McDonald himself. Had it in for young girls since the get go! Refuses to serve a group of us due to an individual in our group taking snapchats of themselves to their friend and assuming it was of a staff member! All the employees also had a huge ego as if they worked for the bloody ritz! They work for McDonald’s??? Food had already been called and the bouncer ripped the receipt out of their hand and the staff gave them their money back instead of giving them their food. Absolute joke will never ever be returning to the branch.

Alright food for reasonable prices breakfast menu isn't that great as the bacon tastes weird always messy in there and they have gotten slower since table service also alot of flies in there at times

Came here a few times for a few drinks and food. Good customer service better than ever. Really kind they are. I was satisfied with my order. Ill be back!!😁

Como sugiere el título, este lugar es todo lo que no quieres de un restaurante de comida rápida. Esto no estaba ocupado cuando fui allí, pero simplemente no había un gerente o personal competente. Todos estaban distraídos e indiferentes. También hubo una fila de jinetes de Uber Eats, y mientras estaban allí me explicaron que no ganan nada mientras esperan, así que me siento mal por esos muchachos también. Uno de los jinetes preguntó cuánto tiempo más y el gerente (joven flaco con gafas) fue escandalosamente grosero y amenazante cuando solo hizo una pregunta simple. Todo aquí me hizo sentir incómodo y simpatizaba con los mensajeros. Evita este establecimiento.

Esto es genial para pasar por aquí si está recibiendo un Mega Bus o un entrenador, ya que se encuentra a pocos minutos a pie de las paradas.

As the title says the service is so much. Enter here than on St Mary’s Street! Do yourself a favour and come here instead!

Lovely cappuccino for a change, normally Greggs is better but the lady working upstairs this evening was a Legend !!

Este lugar estaba EMPAQUETADO, pero no me sorprendió porque era sábado y hora del almuerzo. Tomó mucho tiempo para que las personas desconsideradas utilizaran las pantallas de auto orden. El personal tampoco parecía tener mucha prisa. Una vez que finalmente conseguí mi comida, fue una lucha encontrar un asiento, pero por lo demás una experiencia McDonald's muy típica y buena.

The food was what was to be expected, just a typical McDonalds, but there was no where near enough seating for the amount of people that were eating, and it made the whole experience quite claustrophobic.

Lovely cheap place for average quality food! Great if your in a rush and want something quick to eat kids love coming here for a treat after their swimming lesson !

Do not try the Chicken Nougat. it was chewy and sweet and hardly tasted of chicken. Granted mum hasn't teeth to chew it. So this is mostly hearsay.

I took my mum and nine of her friends here for her 90th birthday and from the moment we walked in I knew we'd struck gold. The doors were suitably wide to accommodate our convoy of wheelchairs, zimmer frames and mobility scooters and although it took us over an hour to seat ourselves and another hour to order the staff did not become impatient. Even when Ethel had one of her funny turns and started shouting about not having her ration book they never batted ah eyelid.The only time they came close to being reproachful was when Bert asked another customer with red curly hair if she was Ronald McDonald. In his defence he has terrible cataracts but his comment about her clowns shoes was understandably a step too far. The menu was exhaustive with burgers of different weights and some really snazzy 'meal deals' which included American chips and cups of pop. Most of the ladies went for the classic 'Big Mac' which didn't disappoint although Beryl did complain about the "sour cucumber". We got some funny looks from a group of young people when the ladies started singing war songs and some of them laughed when, during our singing of happy birthday everyone forgot who's birthday it was! No matter though, there will always be divisions between generations and I credit 'Maccy D's' as being a beautiful and unifying force for old and young alike. If mum has a ninety first birthday I think I'll take her and her surviving friends there again for another treat. We might even try the chicken nougat.

Visited in December 2013 not 15, this nicely placed not to far from the castle and town. Friendly staff and lovely food.

They have a new system here a bit like Argos! You pay up front either at the till or on a machine in the restaurant, then you que by the collection point till they call your number....about seven people cooking, one taking orders at the till and only one person, yes that's just one person assembling the orders......it wasn't too long to wait but it does mean that you now have to que twice to get a Big Mac.........don't think I'll go back.

We went with our grandchildren. The food came quickly and was of the quality you expect from McDonald's. When you take children you realise how inconvenient the toilets at the top of the restaurant are. Small children can't climb all those stairs quickly.
