some man was filling up my crisp packet packet for my chips before I put he put my chips in there is a serious hygiene issue.

As an exceptional food critic (self employed) I could defiantly say that this service was exquisite. Spotless toilet brush, scrummy burger also very nice Mcstaff. This time I didnt sit by the window cos papa johns made my mouth water.

Unlike most McDonald's here in Australia, their British counterparts appear to use real beef in their breakfast muffins. Whatever the reason, they certainly taste far better than the ones we get here in Australia. This is the main reason why I generally choose breakfast at least once from Mcdonald's while I am in England. While their coffee is nothing out of the ordinary, their breakfast menus certainly are.

Awful service. Very apologetic but just not enough staff or interest. Waited 22 minutes for a receipt from my first visit, 18 minutes the second time. Simple exercise would be to put some receipt paper in your single standing order system. I haven't used this food outlet for years and will not again!

Came to maccies with the girls, was extremely shocked and disappointed when salsa didn’t come with my order, it’s a tradition for me and the girls to come here, you could say it’s part of my culture, so I was deeply unsettled when the highlight of my meal didn’t come, will be taking this up with the regional manager, lots of Katey

Ordered an £8 meal via mcdelivery. Was missing the burger. Called uber eats to resolve and they gave me a £2 refund and said there is nothing else they can do and recommended I physically visited the store. Orders from this store are missing items more often than not but this customer service response was truly horrendous.

Part of our order was missing, a 20 nugget share box. It seems that nine times out of ten, our McDelivery orders are inaccurate and something is missing. I don't know if the problem lies with McDonald's or Uber, but it's become tedious and I'm beginning to begrudge paying £3.99 delivery charge for inaccurate orders. I spent over 20 minutes on the phone trying to sort out a refund from Uber, by which time the rest of my order was cold and my son ate alone.

I simply had to try chips with curry dip, sweet and sour dip and ranch dip, all at the same time. I did and it was sensational, I was in food heaven. I was so excited the manager came over to make sure all was well and I said that I have just had tfd best meal of my life.

Took an hour to get food on a Saturday, to be fair the place was rammed and staff working fast as they could. Seems like senior management need to look at how improve kitchen speed and maybe put on more staff!

The restaurant was from top to bottom dirty. Rubbish everywhere. Reported to manager who shrugged and didn’t care! His white shirt was dirty and unironed, so completely not suprised by the whole experience. Just really surprised that McDonalds have these standards now…anywhere, so felt they need to be aware of this and do something about it.

Not the fastest service but certainly edible. Seating is largely upstairs. Self service machine was a little temperamental.

The concept of “fast food” has definitely left this place! After waiting almost 20 minutes for my food I then had to fight my way past the crowd of delivery drivers waiting for their collections. And in that 20 minutes I only saw 2 other people actually get their food even though countless bags were taped up for collection. Maybe if they focused a little more on the customers in the store then it wouldn’t be so bad!

So I went into McDonald's this morning and ordered on the screen. Straight away there was a problem over the fact that my screen did not print my ticket. After 20 minutes of waiting for my food with only 5 people ahead of me I was thankful. I got our the store ready to eat and instead of getting a double bacon and egg muffin extra bacon, I got a single bacon and egg muffin with 2x extra sausage. From someone who has worked gor the company previously... seriously it isn't hard to ready a screen.

Myself and a fellow nurse went to McDonald’s to get lunch for our team at the hospital. When we got there, they only had a limited menu. 3 things we asked for they did not have it. Meaning 3 members of staff didn’t get their well deserved meal!

Our granddaughter is addicted to this chain and so we had no alternative. She enjoyed it, we just had a few chips to keep her company. Service was fast and well organised.

El restaurante es en el corazon de la ciudad y como era de esperar es tan sofisticado y limpiar y a menudo veràs alguien limpia barrer y fregar el suelo. Hoy en dìa es posible comer dentro y por supuesto es esencìal eligir con mucho cuidado comida que se complementa entre sí. Es casi imposible eligir porque hay tanto opccìones y hay que ser paciente mientras decidir. Pero por supuesto que vale la pena. Hoy no podrìa decidir entre pollo y carne de vaca y al final tenìa que tener ambos. El jefe me da consejos buenos asì que pidè cafè y postres deliciosos y como hoy hizo calor tambièn helado con chocolate. Necesitè dos bandejas y tenìa miedo cuando subìa las escaleras. Hay vistas hermosas desde la primera planta. Desde mi punta de vista McDonald's ha cultivado un buen relacìon con sus clientes y es facìl ver por què. Despues almuerzo fui a far gracias al chef. Mi comida era ambos sabroso y suculento y caliente. Cuando estaba comiendo mi hambourgesa y papas fritas me sentì como estaba en los EEUU. Puedo recomendar sin reservas este restaurante y vuelva enseguida, mañana por la mañana para desayuno. Cinco estrellas y gracias McDonald's por comida clase mundial y por llevarme a EEUU en mi mente.

Ordered dinner for the family and my daughters apple pie had what looked like a ginger beard hair on it 🤮🤮

Working in the area at night, walked there, ordered chicken and a apple pie for myself , plus mcflurry and hamburger for my work mate. On arriving back to my work area (10 min walk) I found they had not only forgot the apple pie but put no napkins in either. I did check the receipt and I had paid for it.Maybe if the manager wasn't so interested in talking to his staff....

I’ve ordered twice this week as it’s easy to get for lunch when I’m working. Again they forget the dips including the ones I pay for. I usually let it slide as the dips are free or only 20p but I order here quite often and the money wasted on buying dips is ridiculous! I only buy them in hopes they actually read the receipt and put all of them in! I’ve rung a few times to complain but it does nothing and I’m really annoyed now. You can’t just forget to put things in my order if I’ve paid for them no matter how cheap they are! If you don’t sort out your service I won’t be eating here anymore, I’ll be forced to make a formal complaint to the Winchester manager. considering posting on Winchester rants aswel to worn others that my money is being taken every time I order. Very disappointed to have to ask "floor manager" Michael to wash his hands after I watched him wipe his hand on his trousers at least 6 times whilst waiting for my food. He then touched the hash browns to see if they were still warm.Oh also the guy in back making sandwiches vigorously scratched his arm and did not wash or sanitise his hands afterwards.I would expect better under normal circumstances and under covid-19 restrictions hygiene should be top priority. Unfortunately, it's not at this restaurant.

Hay mucho lugares así que cuando eligí McDonalds iba a emocionate sin embargo este lugar fue muy ocupado pero que vale la pena. Simplamente mi cafe fue delicioso y mi postre fantastico y a partir de ahora creo que volveré en el futuro. por supuesto no es barato más pero a pesar de esto deberías considerar si quieres comida buena y sofisticasíon. y sobre todo este restaurante es en el corazon de la ciudad. Perfecto para un taza de café o cenar.

I’ve Been to this McDonald’s 5 times now; every time I’ve received small portions - wether that’s barely any fries or half a McFlurry. It’s pathetic; as a previous McDonald’s employee I’m disgraced that they would serve such small portions!

Sorry to leave negative review but really has a chaotic feel to the place.Big Mac was ok, average. Filet O Fish was dried piece of cardboard.It also seems to be a teenagers hang out as most MacDonalds are I suppose. Rather unclean feel to the place.

My son and I went to this McDonalds a few months ago but I did not place a review. However, we ordered two vegetarian burgers. When we went upstairs to eat we found the contents was ‘frozen’ - yes frozen. I went back downstairs and the manager somewhat apologised and offered replacements and vouchers for another 2 meals. We since never gone to another McDonald’s. I believe that the majority of the burgers are cooked from frozen.

Service was fast & friendly with the correct order. The restaurant was clean with the tables cleared & wiped straight away. Plenty of seating over 2 floors and it's situated in a very convenient place when visiting the cathedral or sight seeing around the city.

We came aloong to Winchester to visit the Cathedral. The hotel we were staying at didn't include breakfast and if we did want it it would be 15.00 so we chose to go to McDonald's where the breakfast was lovely.

As students in a growing Uni I would expect a Mcdonalds to be open for longer, or even a 24 hours as they are in nearly 95% of all other Mcdonalds' I've been in. You're also losing a lot of business by not growing to Uber-Eats, as it would be a large growth.

Coming from Ireland I couldn't get over how cheap McFlurries were! The McDonalds is also clean and has those new-fangled ordering machines that you can pay by card at.

Convenient if your granddaughter is desperate for a quick snack. Service is quick and efficient. Staff are friendly with a smile.

My daughter & myself visited this establishment & had to go upstairs to eat our meal as downstairs was full. I forgot to get sugar for my coffee & also serviettes so had to go downstairs to collect them. As the air conditioning was on full blast, apart from being chilly, my food was almost cold y the time I came to eat it as I had wasted time going down to get what I had forgotten. I spoke to the duty Manager & asked if it were possible to have a condiment/sugar/serviette station upstairs, he said it was impossible as there isn't enough room, I beg to differ, there is plenty of room to permit a small section of the floor space to be used. A member of staff said they are always being asked why there aren't any condiments upstairs, not all patrons of McDonalds are youngsters & teenagers, I am 70 & love the food but don't want to be running up & down stairs if I forget something.

Our granddaughter loves the happy meals here. The place is relatively clean and spacious. Also there are some tablets which, when working, entertain the kids.

I came here during the Christmas market and it was very busy. Despite it being busy, I was served very quickly (less than two minutes) and opted for table service. My order arrived at the optimum temperature and was amazing. When leaving, a member of staff took my tray so I didn't have to clear it myself.

I can’t say it was a memorable experience but the burgers and fries were ok and inexpensive. Considering it was busy everywhere was clean and tidy.

I visited McDonalds Winchester with a friend who has a slight disability but likes to retain independence... and rightly so. Wary of using the automated menus, we ordered two Big Mac meals at the counter and the food arrived very quickly. While I collected serviettes, straws etc. my friend carried the tray to an upstairs table. However, as my friend went to place the tray on the table he stood awkwardly and one drink plus one lots of chips fell on the floor. When I arrived at the table soon after, my friend was naturally embarrassed by what had happened. A female assistant was reassuring him that it was okay and began to clear the spillage. A male assistant (possibly a manager) also appeared to replace the food that had been dropped free of charge even though I would have been happy to pay. Fast food outlets often get a bad press, but I cannot fault the service that was given following an embarrassing and potentially distressing incident. A huge thank you to these two wonderful people who looked after me and especially my friend last week.

This was the first time I had been into a McDonald's for many years. We decided to get into Winchester early in order to get a parking space. The experience was different from last time I had visited. There were touch screens to use for ordering, as this was the first time we had used them we were a little slow. I am sure with practice it would have been quicker than going to a sales person. Our breakfast was slower coming than others as we had ordered bagels and they must have been on a slower line.We had the meal upstairs and this was quiet and clean. The food was the same as we had in the past and it was a good way of getting a quick breakfast.

Went here yesterday as all other restaurants in Winchester full! Very busy, lots of litter, grubby, staff not that bothered, self service idea is OK but seemed to be causing much confusion to staff and customers alike. Bins full and full rubbish bags left lying around, tables not being cleared quickly.Layout terrible!No lift to upper seating area.Someone needs to pick up a mop and broom and get cleaning!

We have been coming to this McDonald's store for over 10yrs now, but each time we visit, the food and the service just gets worse & worse!The tables are always dirty after waiting so long to get served, but in the end the truth is that the food & drinks are just such poor quality after being served by such a miserable member of staff, as when you try to talk to them, they just blank you as if you just do not exist, disgusting training to behave in this manner, so maybe it's the Management that are at fault in all aspects of the downfalls of this branch?

Service was slow, had to keep repeating 'take away please' to the server due to after each item I requesterd he asked the same question, really, I'm not going to order one and eat in then order and take away at the same time! Ordered a burger without cheese, got cheese in any way, no nuggets in happy meal, got fish fingers, the hamburger had condiments in and ordered without any. Mcdonalds is mcdonalds, but wanted to write a review as it was the first time we have seen a self service ordering in Mcdonalds. Was great and easy to use.

Perhaps better than many Mcdonald's- I've usually found the staff here to be helpful. The restaurant has recently been revamped and they've made a mess of it. I like the new fast-order screens and this seems to have reduced queues. However, there are now fewer table and instead lots of bar stool type chairs which are really uncomfortable. There were several people with pushchairs and now there's hardly any room. I also dislike the tablets that allow children to play computer games whilst eating- not sure that's what we should be encouraging as a society, it's one thing at home but another when it follows children around everywhere.

We opted for McDonalds for breakfast rather than pay 10 pounds each for the hotel breakfast. It was fine and, in England, the cheese and onion wrap comes with brown sauce! Delish.

Despite advertising that food is cooked to order - my Big Mac was as cold as if it had come straight out of the fridge. On returning it to the counter the assistant grabbed it and said bit cold - do you want a replacement !!!!! Doh! The replacement wasn't much warmer but at least it was finally edible

I have a crippling social anxiety disorder, I've found it very hard to go out let alone order food so I'm so happy to find they have computers to order from, which means its a lot less crowded and the staff have more free time to keep the place nice and clean, quick, easy to pay and the food is "well lush" :) open pretty late too if I need a cheeky tap cola

Awful. Toilets had poo on the walls/floor and not a drop of soap in sight. Staff are rude and unhelpful! Have seen staff physically removed children (some of whom have been in school uniform) who look perfectly respectable with no good reason. Please avoid.

I am a Korean student studying in winchester university and i had one of my most wonderful day in this McDonalds. I had lost my laptop outside of the shop last night and one of the staffs of McDonalds kept it in safe place. I realise staffs in McDonalds are very nice in terms of service and most reliable people I have ever met in UK. of course they have high quality of food as well and that I judge rating as excellent from business perspective including service and quality :)

If I could give 0 stars I would! Came here today after a day out at the christmas market, was absolutely gob smacked at the customer service! We ordered mcflurrys got them and went to sit down, everything seemed fine! Well my ️mum opened hers and it was really runny you could tip it down a plug hole it was that runny. So we did what anyone would do and went up to the counter to get another one. The girl my ️mum showed literally looked at ️mum and went 'so' as if she couldn't comprehend that it was inedible! So a manager snatched it off this girl, went and done a new one and come back to my mum. This is what appalled me! She shook it in my mums face and quite rudely said is this better for you! She was flinging it around tipping it up and down and then literally threw it at my mum! ️mum said sorry it's not good enough and the manger just responded in a rude tone well tough we are busy! Sorry but it isn't good enough we don't go to these places and expect to be treated like rubbish! Sort it out! There are better places to go if you want a cheap bite to eat! Will not go to this McDonald's again! Absolutely rude!

I visited McDonald's yesterday after their refurb and was very impressed. Love the new order system! Everything looks clean and bright and the staff are as friendly and polite as usual.

Always packed, with long queues speedily dealt with, this offers the usual range of McDonald's food.They do excellent and generous soft ice cream cones for a fraction of the price elsewhere in the city - to the detriment of my waistline!

My name is John and I occasionally have a Big Mac! There, I've said it! Having said it, I have eaten the guilty pleasure here and it was a pleasure as always. Slightly soggy with that familiar sauce and limp lettuce together with the thin and slightly dry patty...no danger of stray meat juices dripping down the chin here, all contained in the mass produced sesame bun. Delicious. And if that's what you want then this is as good a MaccyD as anywhere to eat it. The service is always swift and cheerful and the place is usually clean enough.

Un lugar para comer barato y limpio en una ciudad preciosa pero que no es barata. Hay muchas opciones, desde las clásicas hamburguesas hasta menú más sanos como ensaladas con pollo grillado y ananá de postre.

In an up-market city like Winchester, I would expect high standards, but sadly every time I have visited this has not been the case. Floors and table-tops have not been cleaned / cleared of debris to create an overall good impression. It might be a fast food outlet, but a little organisation would go a long way.

This is a nice looking McDonalds... if you compare to others. They're service in the morning is quick and the restaurant is clean and tidy.

This is a nice McDonald's as they go. The staff are very friendlyand will help you if you need your tray carrying because you have a baby,etc. It gets busy around times you could expect so that isless desirable however the Cathederal green is down the road sodo as the locals do when the weather is nice and take it there.

What is there really to say... McDonalds is McDonalds. There isn't always seating as the place is usually full of school kids.

To be honest, I'm not that bothered about service if its a takeaway I'm after. So long as they're not spitting in the food...The one time I ate in, it was good enough and the only thing wrong with it was out of their control (noisy kids). The staff do try!
