It would be 0 if I could allocate this, I picked my granddaughter up on Friday 12/7 from school, took her to McDonald’s for a treat, 4 year olds are not fast eaters, my daughter called to say she would meet me there with my 18 month old granddaughter I purchased a meal for them, another slow eaters, I’ve since been sent a parking fine, 20 minutes over the time, I never imagined a time limit, didn’t see the sign, let’s face it, it’s hardly fast food here? Served by a group of lack lustre teenagers! Btw the toilets here are absolutely disgusting!

Disgusting had my nan waiting outside bearing in mind she is a disabled driver staff are rude nobody at intercom!!!!!!!

Food sent stone cold even though driver collected and delivered on time, wrong food sent, no straws for drinks, no sauces for nuggets, same every time. Will no longer be ordering from this franchise

Cold yet again. How the hell is this McDonald’s still open? I’m sick of thinking they are fools, and stupidly I go and give them a chance. But what a surprise, cold and dry food. Missed order, just bad. I ordered the fish and it’s dry, nasty, and cold. The bread is always freezing when it turns up, and I live less than a mile away. What the heck!

Food was stone cold! Managers are children and have no idea how to speak to a customer. McDonald’s should be embarrassed of this store, sack the children and hire some people who like talking to people. I complained my food was cold and she looked at me as if I was lying, didn’t give a crap at all. Think her name was Rena, get her gone

Attempted to order breakfast. Order was accepted and displayed as being wrapped up for an hour. 3 different delivery drivers attempted to collect my order and then cancelled. After around an hour I contacted Uber Eats to cancel the order and was told I would have to pay a charge of £8 to cancel as the restaurant had started to complete the order. Then the restaurant called me, said I shouldn't have been able to order my specified item and that they would be unable to fulfill it. They said I should cancel order through Uber Eats. I explained that I would have to pay a cancellation fee having already attempted to do so. They said that it "wasn't their fault" and that they "couldn't do anything". I wholeheartedly agreed that they couldn't do anything and that I found them incompetent in the extreme. The manager was clearly stood behind the staff member who called me, coaching him on what to say. I've had issues with this branch so many times and this is just the latest in a long history of cock ups. Avoid this branch, they are absolutely horrendous. Clearly they had taken on more orders than they had the capacity to deliver and were backtracking by claiming that they did not have the menu items in stock. The restaurant was then listed as closed immediately after. It's open 24 hours a day haha. I'd be embarrassed to work there.

The last 4 times we have ordered food for delivery from here items have been missing. You ring and get no apology from the manager and are just told to ring Ubber for a refund. No responsibility is taken by the staff who actually put the orders together. I will be changing branch from now on. Disgraceful.

I have been going a couple of times a month for a while, my bank rang about an issue, i don’t check my bank regularly but McDonald’s have been taking 2 payments per visit for the last 3 months !!!!! I had one payment for breakfast in Chesterton, then another breakfast in Newcastle upon Tyne !!! 15 mins later !!! If i had a helicopter i don’t think i would be that quick, perhaps i time travelled and didn’t know it

If you’re looking at buying food from McDonalds via Just Eat, just don’t bother. The reviews online all slate not only the delivery drivers but the poor quality of the servers in relation to missing items, stone cold food and wrong and/or incorrectly delivery orders. I ordered a Large Big Mac Meal, with an extra McChiken sandwich plus and apple pie with a vanilla milkshake (was starving not eaten all day). Food left McDonalds at 5.01pm and the driver turned up eventually at my house at 5.43pm, I live 0.5m away from the restaurant, I could see him driving round and round past my house via the APP, when he eventually decided to find me, he was a very angry man, spoke hardly any if no English and literally threw the food at me. The food was stone cold, no dips again as ordered, and the chips were dreadful and rock hard. I complained, McDonalds stated I had to go throughJustEat, I said what about missing dips they said again, it’s JustEat, I said you pick and pack not JustEat, they said sorry that’s how it is? JustEat took 48hrs to come back to me and offered me £4.23 refund. I said sorry I want more via email, they did respond and said that’s all there terms & conditions allow to be refunded.. Shicking, food went in The bin.. So, I have now found SmashBurger in Newcastle under Lyme, food is awesome, always delivered within 30 mins, proper burgers, toasty buns and well wrapped to ensure product is kept warm. Proper chips well salted and hot. Granted it’s more expensive than Mackys, but when you take into account the delivery charge from Just eat plus The service fee, there was a difference of 0.27p to have proper food, packaged with care and delivered in a timely fashion as SmashBurger only charge £1 per delivery.. So bin McDonald’s and go to SmashBurger in Newcastle, and before anyone says, I bet he owns it or works there, I don’t. Just tired of crap food being delivered (as every JustEat review shows) for McDonalds Chesterton. SmashBurger food is really nice.

I actually ordered online, but they failed to give me sauce for my 10 chicken selects and 20 chicken nuggets, and also didn’t give me a straw for my chocolate milkshake. Terrible.

Shoved in one bag staff refused to fetch manager out of the office. Half my food is on the floor outside my house because the bag ripped apart!! £32 order and absolutely awful. I don’t know what empy headed simpletons work there but there’s human error and there’s just being slow. every time i order from here there is always something missing how hard is it to read a ticket and tick it off i’m wondering if they even check their employees can read before they are hired. got a sausage and egg mcmuffin and half the bread was still at maccies 👍

Kept waiting at the drive until order bay. I had to shout twice for my order to be taken and was just told would be with me in a second. Still waiting I called a third time and agent tried to make me wait again but I had to insist he take my order as was in a rush. 1st rule of customer service-don't keep the customer waiting.

Always seem to get put in a bay; 15 minute wait on food and order generally wrong. Go inside to sort and it’s like a a youth club; staff laughing and joking around and no one seems to care how poor the service is.

It’s not quick, it’s not fast and it’s cold! Steer clear if you’re in any kind of hurry. The deliveries and drive-thru take priority.

Placed on online order, was charged £40 and the delivery driver changed the order status to delivered, but the food never arrived! Unable to get a refund as the status said 'delivered'. Fuming! Dont order from this shocking McDonalds!!

Very busy. The staff member taking orders was working very hard as the drive thru queue was constant. We received our order quickly but unfortunately, the cheeseburger was only lukewarm and the fries almost cold. How can this be if large quantities are being freshly cooked to keep up with demand?We spend nearly £14 but didn't enjoy the food supplied due to the temperature issue. There is no excuse why this food wasn't served hot.

So i want to the restaurant with my gouges with and i was verbally harassed somebody let off a fat snagger in my fanta. the turd was just floating there. i asked for a refund and i was turned down for being black.

Visited mid evening for food as the Brewers Fayre nearby had a power cut. Fairly empty inside but a couple of hoodie wearing teens were wreaking havoc with the helpless staff trying to stop them which left a bad taste in the mouth.The service was quick and the food was hot, the touch screens for ordering weren’t great and needed really hard taps to get them to register.I guess that can’t really choose their clientele especially as there’s housing estates all around so I guess that’s life really. Handy for a fast food stop off but you may want to stick to the drive through later in the evening.

So you order on the app & they get the order ready immediately so when you get there the order is not on the screen & it is getting cold, they don’t shout out or ask you when in the queue your order number. They don’t put in the sauces requested either, you need to check your order before leaving. Advise if someone orders on the app they are not in the store, give people time to arrive & ask people if they have an order number.Also 2 young girls came to order at the till & this seemed to inconvenience the server as she rolled her eyes at a co worker.You work in the service industry it is your job!!!! Do not be rude!!!

I visited this McDonald's a couple of days ago. I had my order taken by a lovely guy called Daniel. I was served quite quickly too by other staff. This cafe is nice and clean too. Recommended.

Me and my mates went Maccies to have a chill time, we got our food what we asked for, it was hot, it was tasty, no problem at all.

This is my local mcdonalds, and my only nesr drive through. Without fail 100% of the time you have to go and wait in a bay for your food, so does everyone else, and I only recall once when my food was bought out that I had the correct food in the bag. Last week I ordered 2 happy meals, got the happy meals and had to go and wait in a bay for the fruit shoots ... why would that be what causes a delay?? It's sometimes a 20 minute wait time too, not fast food at all. The milkshake and mcflurry machine is barely ever working, and the staff need serious customer service training. It's a real shame to have a mcdonalds branch like this, it needs something doing ASAP

I sometimes call at this McDonald’s to grab a coffee on my way to work. Mornings seem to be hectic here, the drive-thru is always busy! Great coffee though!One complaint though, the drive thru screens/speakers are hard to hear, the volume is far too low. I struggle to hear if there’s anyone actually there at times. This is made even harder if there’s a van in the next lane!

I ordered a quarter pounder and made sure to point out to just have cheese and ended up with everything on it

We visited this restaurant for a large portion of fries. The simplest cooked item on the menu. I stood watching the drive through being served quickly and staff stood doing nothing for 4 minutes and 56 seconds. The manager on the fries turned and saw that the only internal order on the screen was a large portion of fries and sorted it out. If she hadn't acted I would probably still be waiting!

The food and staff are fabulous (which accounts for the score of three).

Called in for a quick bite after coming back from a concert we knew it was a 24 hr so decided to get food from there as it was close to home got there at 12.30 to be told that they would not serve until 1.00am we left to look for other food outlets but they were closed came to McDonald’s waited till 1.30 to be told it would be another 30mins at this point we left

I ordered a big mac with bacon through the drive through and when i got home i realized there was no bacon that as happened a few times no payrd gor it but didn't get no bacon!?

I went to do a quick McDonald's run for breakfast for me and my partner as we are both very busy today , thought it would be quick simple no fuss..how wrong I was! Ordered told there was limited soft drinks which is fair enough but this always seems to be the case , pulled up to collection , where I was greeted with an empty window , eventually given my drink then told to pull up in the front bays.. this was a joke there was a line of cars now trailed around the whole front of the building essentially I had no space other than to block cars in , one of which was was used by a local dog walker taking up space , 7 minutes later a member of staff came out exclaiming the place is a joke and using language not exactly deemed customer friendly with one bag which was essentially thrown at the customer , then I was back to waiting another 5 minutes , at this point the car is partially blocked had started to reverse and almost hit my car.

Took 2 double cheeseburgers and fries home from the drive thru. They were still hot, fresh and tasty. Most importantly, the personal taste grill orders were right!

Well done if your food turns up anything other than luke warm. Recently gone 24 hour and boy does it show in the slow service from the terrible attitude of the managers who think screaming at staff is a motivator for them to work harder to the teenage lads who want to mess about in front of the customers. About the only positive thing you can say about this craphole is while you wait for the staff to be bothered to bring you your cold food you can watch boy racers ignoring the don't turn right sign on the blind bend and you might get a accident which is better than eating here

The food is usually cold when it gets to you, if it gets to you. The staff don't seem to care. When you do get your food good luck it being the right order, even simple things like not putting ice in a drink. Only go there for convenience. Don't know why I keep trying it, but with the fact that there's never the same staff there, maybe someday there'll be someone working there who can do the job.

Food isnt always great and usually always have to go to the parking bays and wait for your order if you go through the drive through. The staff are usually friendly however and the food can be hit and miss.

Called in last night, yet again the food was cold, staff messing about & Manager who spoke with attitude to a young girl who missed her shouting the food order number, expensive price for poor quality food, think they need some lessons in providing food thats hot. Not impressed.

I called in the drive through at the last minute, nobody spoke via the order system so have waiting for sometime I drove around to the window at this point it had defiantly pasted closing time. I spoke to a manager and tried to explain I had been waiting but he didn’t care, I advise I was going contact head office asking for his name he obnoxiously responded with I’m not giving you my name and walked away.

Only reason for my visit is for my son. Due to my dietary restrictions I can't eat anything but a salad without any of the dressing as sugar levels to high. Usual menu unhealthy stodg which I only allow my son as an occasional treat as he wants the toy.

I had a big Mac and large fries. Not very impressed the big Mac was warm and not hot and the fries were to crispy for my liking.

I was on the way to my voluntary work at Cancer Research, Ironmarket, Newcastle-Under-Lyme, and had a breakfast on the way (after receiving a lift).

Ate with family. We ordered different meals and my wife got fillet o fish. An hour later, she had been to toilet 8 times. At least she was able to sleep at 12am. The bug might have slept too.

Took grandchild as a treat. Food quick and hot (unlike many McDs). Staff friendly, making balloons for the kids. Warm welcome with a crayon set - presume for the child, not me. Pleasantly surprised as recently other McDs seem to have gone downhill.

I only really have ham burgers and without fail you're told to go and wait. EVERY SINGLE time without fail! In the end I asked to speak to a manager in which I was looked at as if to say 'You're not eliagle to speak to the manager' anyway spoke to the manager who basically said 'We have more orders for cheese burgers and do them by demand' I have been in at 10:30 when they are first cooking them and apparently they are on demand to which I have not seen ANYONE sitting in, have a cheese burger?

very poor staff was ignorant and ignored me , they talked down to me and talked almost shouted in my face. they told me I had to pay extra for cheese n sauces but it was free before, they got my order wrong and the wait was over 15 mins very poor

Called in here Bank Holiday Monday with the girls.After waiting ages in a queue,because only 3 people were serving,finally got served.Then the girl said 'Oh she didn't do your Burger'.Right okay took the others their food and waited!!!!!!!!!!!!!.Burger eventually came.Apparently,whoever was cooking them had done 6 but they were for someone else even though i was waiting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. £7.75p in total 2 Happy Meals with fries and only 3 Chicken Nougetts-----there used to be 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A fruit shot and,I have to say ,a very good toy.The Girls were happy.The other half had fries and a santa,I had the Burger.it was ok for a quick food fix whilst we were in town,wouldn't make a habit of it though.Service too slow and small portions.Nice friendly staff.

Stopped here halfway through a long cycle ride one Sunday in October. Hungry and needed a coffee too. Really tasty chicken wrap and coffee for normal good value prices.

This is the worst review i have ever written and I have written a lot.Called here today with the girls after visiting relatives.Bought 2 Happy meals.Girls ate them on the way home.1 suddenly said she didn't like the chips,told her to hang on until we got home.Well,on looking at what was left of the disgusting fries i couldn't believe what I was seeing.White,almost raw potatoes!!!!!!!!!!!!!.Immediately rang up.Spoke to "Jack",seems to get money back I had to take these back immediately no way 10 milw round trip.He offered vouchers,NO.Got Head Offices Number and rang.You would think i was asking for the earth,just a refund back,nothing else ,anyway spoke to Amanda,she couldn't refund without asking Claire,who;of course's in a meeting.Arent they all.In desperation e-mailed head office.Guy rang back not from where i had txt but from where I had purchased the fries from without seeing these fries by picture he couldn't possibly refund me nd there was no way he could refund me petrol at all.Youngest son sent picture of fries,if you could call them that.All in all these outlets are run by kids and no one takes responsibility for anything.I look forward to my refund.The toys today were Box Trolls but they were in Dragon Boxes.The girls were not impressed and they are only 4 & 7,never again will i visit a Mcdonalds they are a shambles and this one cannot cook Fries.My tip is to all parents who buy Happy Meals from here look at what your kids are eating mine won't be eating from here ever ever again.

Clean environment and good friendly service. Food well prepared and presented. ideal location on the main road for passing traffic. Free wifi to catch up with emails on our holiday and no hassle to leave, which is why we ate here, as well as obviously enjoying McDonalds food.

Good service, food always OK, ideal for feeding children "on the hoof" when you are out and about! Not haute-cuisine but never had a poor meal from there yet. Also, sitting in area is always nice and clean and staff pleasant.

when i see mcdonalds it does not necessarily appeal to me, but i tried it the other day i had chicken mayo with fries and a mocha hot drink, it was very nice and kept me going for the rest of the day, i would go here if i was in a hurry as it is nice,quick service:)

macdonalds is great for a quick meal, especially when the kids need feeding quick, you can go through the drive through, and have your meal within minutes
