Lack of staff, 25mins to get my food, made an error when taking order, not good service

Used the McDonald's app to order and get it brought out to my table. It was a small order as I was in a hurry. And waited and waited then after 20 minutes I when I to find what was going on. The order was on the counter. After about 3 minutes someone deemed to speak to me. Blamed me even though i know I'd ordered correctly. Turned into a bit of a slanging match. Very poor service. Very poor unmotivated staff. No leadership Won't be returning

This was the first experience of eating here whilst out shopping. We used the outside menu board, spent £17, and used 'Table Service', order completed at 18.02. Finally after 2 personal follow ups within the shop itself to ask where our order was, it finally arrived at 18.43, 41 minutes after ordering, terrible service, sadly there is more, the fries were rubbish, small cut, some overcooked and warm What a terrible experience, so guess what, not going there again

Yesterday, I been to the shopping mall and ordered large meal but they took too much time and the burger was so bad. Never ever going there now

Rude female member of staff. No manners or a smile. Just a miserable face and very argumentative. She is in the wrong job.

Why did I bother… God the miserable woman in here serving was completely unprofessional and rude! Never know someone so vile. Awful customer service.

Ordered food in-house waited in Q 20mins for one burger. Burger cold. Staff offish/rude not helpful. But I think I would be- considering amount of people ordering and hardly no staff. More of a higher management issue.

hey, I waited a very long time for my order that I took as a takeaway (40 minutes) besides, I'm missing from the order, I didn't check when I took the bag because it was already late, the uber was waiting for me I paid the Uber more money ,the stuff were sitting and talking to each other instead of serving the customers, very very bad of them. especially since it was not my order, I bought it for friends. shame on you don't buy from them anymore...shame on you!!!! the customers came back and told them that they had another order or that you had something missing from the orders tonight's customers were very disappointed and above all, I don't know if the others will tell you but I will tell you....DO NOT BUY FROM HERE ANYMORE. SHAME

More than once the fish fingers in happy meal seemed like they have been fried for the second time, the where not hot and where dry and turned hard. With my last order not only was the burger and halloumi fried missing but the fries packet literally had 5 fries in them. I realised when i got home, my son was not happy and my fault for not checking because I was in a hurry

Would have been 3 stars if it wasn't for the very friendly staff. Standard mcdonalds experience, although the 24hr opening is nice and generally fast service. The ordering stalls never print your order number, which has become the norm in many mcdonalds. Otherwise nothing stands out. Better than the McDonalds in the shopping centre though. Much cleaner.

Not busy waited 10 minutes to be served whilst waiting the Asian girl making peoples food ie the burgers is stuffing her face with the pickles and then carried on serving people there food told the manager wasn't interested got money back 10 minutes later she still hasn't washed her hands disgusting filthy worker go to the other McDonald's in Chertsey road least they are clean and hygienic

Terrible service. The drinks weren't available so I asked for some advice with my app if I was getting a meal and just told 'have a milkshake' that's your only option. I then tried to use the machine in the restaurant amd asked again for help and I was just told to go back to where I'd come from...poor

They tick off the orders as done on the system and make you wait 10 minutes, zero communication on your order so you never know if they just forgot about it. Everyone avoids interacting

Mcd's getting smaller portions with mcfluyrys and stingy with sauce.

I had the vegan wrap with medium fries. It was all freshly cooked ! And the Manager and staff highly organised, Also customer service exceptional.Such an improvement on the friary shopping centre in Guildford.

Nice place, very clean. Sitting aria partly close without any visible restrictions. Quick service.

Maybe it’s a one off. I’ve always ordered my food at the counter primarily due to my poor eyesight. A rather rude and curt could be manager told me if it’s a card I’m using I HAVE to use the kiosk. Firstly if that’s the case please make it very clear before trying to embarrass someone. Secondly perhaps ask in a more helpful way you may understand your customers a little better. But On the upside a big thank you, there are many more pleasant and healthier options available.

I ordered a ice cream, which come melted. I told them is not supposed to be like that … a employee man little chubby told me to go . Rude staff …avoid from now on .

I’m not sure if this outlet is closing down as advertised when I first searched. I do know the poor manager is doing everything on his own. I really felt for him. Great job manager

Fairly comfortable seating and quite good service Computerised ordering tricky. Coffee quite good but food quite poor quality, Inexpensive but ,,,.,,the layout of the seating areas mean you can buy better quality breakfast buns etc elsewhere and buy a McDonalds coffee there.

I have been served by Patricia. She was very nice and friendly. She helped us with our order and showed my boyfriend the vegan options for him. Thank you.

We ordered chips and cheese melts, the chips came slightly undercooked with chewy bits which could only have been raw potato, the cheese melts had no cheese in them! This was baffling for us, won't be coming back.

I thoroughly enjoyed the quick service, as well as the luxurious hot chocolates, which only cost 1.49 each. Bargain! Love the seating area outside of Mcdonalds too - lots of tables, chairs, and space. Recommended!

Ordered a big mac meal for myself and my father food arrived 15 minutes later, burger was cold so was the chips, never going here again!

My milkshake was warm and wasn’t anywhere near the top. It was completely disgusting and cost me £2.06. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE 😭😭

What a pleasure to be greeted at the door by a smiling face (the doorman)! Only had coffees but these were also served with a smile and they came very quickly. Tasty and fresh.

I’ve been here a few times and received good and bad service. In the past I’ve made a table order in person at the till only to be forgotten. I’ve had wraps so badly made that they fall apart as soon as you open the box, incorrect orders and cold food. I have complained to head office before and they are not interested as this site is a franchise. Today was no better. Friendly staff serving but cold chips served in a carton that was half full, the wrong drink, a lukewarm wrap and no serviettes. The venue is located in the food court at the Peacocks Centre. It is bright and inviting with self service tills and seating inside and out. If you are technically challenged or prefer a personal service they still have a till. There are screens and tables to entertain the children. The toilets are the other side of the food court. Whilst the table I sat at could have had a wipe, it was generally clean and tidy. Don’t sit at the high tables by the entrance because you end up sharing your meal with the queue when they are busy!! I noticed they have replaced the plastic straws with thick paper straws. Big up McDonalds but they go soggy really fast. In their defence on this we are talking paper and liquid! At least they are trying. I will go for a quick meal but it’s not my stop off of choice and they do not address their shortcomings. The same issues occur over and over.

Not only was my burger warm and in parts cold, my vanilla milk shake had chocolate in it !!!!.. as I was drinking it I kept tasting chocolate which I don’t like and when I checked and took the lid off , there was a lot of chocolate and when my friend commented she had ordered 9 nuggets and only had 6 !! I went and complained and the manager Pamela seemed to think it ok and I felt her and a colleague at one point found it funny and she seemed to walk away only offering another milk shake when I asked for head offices number ! As if I would want another as I had drunk half ! Maybe an offer of a refund but nothing , bad customer service , I normally go to the one in Woking High street and I will do so from now on .. the couldn’t careless attitude of the staff is appalling .. seriously would worry about cleanliness if other flavours are getting mixed in and also if you have allergies this is not good !!

Just having our usual Tuesday tea here and been watching a member of staff (Richard) entertaining a lady’s 2 children while she was placing her food order. He spent a good 10 minutes playing with the kids. Happy kids happy mummy that’s all I can say. I must say the staff are always friendly and helpful here. They work hard but still have smiles on their faces and willing to help. Well done you guys

Chips cooled no salt Diet Coke is actually full coke even when you ask for a fresh Diet Coke it’s still full Coke Wouldn’t recommended this macdonalds standards are low

I have been here many times but recently it has been mordernized. There are self service touchscreen machines to order your meal. You can only pay on a debit/credit card on these machines. Also, there is a counter where you can pay with cash. There is an option to get table service if you use the touchscreen machines. The walls and furniture are modern and stylish. There is a table with four tablets to play on or go online and there is another table that is interactive. The place itself is very clean with at least one member of staff checking if everything is in a clean state. The staff are very friendly and check if your meal is up to standard. There is a great variety of food and drink just like any other Mcdonalds. There is a breakfast menu available till 10:30am, we went before 9:00am. I tried the new bacon flatbread (breakfast menu) and it was tasty. However, I tried it again another day and it seemed a tiny bit undercooked and lukewarm.

I’ve been there for a quick break. The place is quite nice, clean, the service is reasonably fast and the burgers are definitely tasty. Not really excited by their chips but not even bad at all, so generally speaking it’s okay.

I don't usually review fast food restaurants because lets face it you know what your getting. We went here because we needed a quick meal before a show and decided not to use the self service screen. The member of staff who served us was very friendly, helpful and even brought our food to us when it was ready. The food was McDonald's normal fare, the restaurant was clean and has screens with games to entertain children but the 5 stars are for the service I don't expect from fast food place. Ill only order a mcdonalds after a night out or on thr way back from somewhere late. So it really annoys me at how often my order is done incorrectly, more often than not they forget to give me an item i have paid for or they put items in my burger that i have ordered to be without and even tho it says on the sticker excluding such items it still contains them so i then have burgers i cant eat. I know its cheap and low quality as expected but at least give the customer what they ordered!

Usual busy fast food place, clean,plenty of seating... staff work hard, there are no toilets available so difficult if you have young children, you have to leave the restaurant to use the public toilets.

Think they have freshened up this Place. With screens you can find Your meal yourself, and even get the staff to bring Food to Your table. Even got 4 computerscreens and a playing table to entertain the kids. Very Nice staff!!

It's always quite busy but the service is fast here obviously food is good if busy as always fresh 🍔

This is a standard type of McDonalds with ... of course.... the usual menu. Its fine. And that's it. Good when shopping and need a quick snack!

Quite reasonable, quick service. Vegetarians have a number of choices. Staff are generally well behaved. Cleaning ladies are very polite and maintain a good cleanliness.

Visited Macdoalds in the Peacocks center Woking and had a really nice meal with excellent service. I am hard of hearing but the staff were very patient with me and helped me with my Oder. Highly recommend.

As it is located in the ground floor of the largest shopping center at Woking, you can easily access this McDonald's.I usually takeaway my coffee before shopping. All of staffs are kind !

Be careful going into this place - groups of youths hanging round outside, went in there once and they started hassling me - and the staff sided with them - be very careful - worth crossing the street to avoid

Found average service.The place is bit congested. But worth visiting once. Would like the service to speed up.

My husband and myself regularly visit the Macdonalds in the Peacocks centre,the food and the staff are excellent,the staff are always extremely pleasant.We would like to mention Sankita she always has a smile for us,which is one of the reasons we travel to Woking,we think it is so important to feel welcome when you visit somewhere to eat.

Good for a visit with the grandchildren. Basic Macdonalds food. The kids always enjoy the food. Grandparents tolerate it!!

if i am running late, i usually pick up dinner on the way home. Never had any issues with the food, or service. always find the staff friendly.

If you go to McDonald's you know what you are going to get. With two in Woking this one in the centre does what it says on the tin. Quick turnover, quickish basic service and food you get in every McDonald's in the land. The younger kids enjoy it and will choose it over a lot better places. Lots of choice in Woking but macs is always busy which speaks for itself.

Have only rated this poor as somebody there needs to sort out the smell in there.I noticed the other review with one star referring to the smell.The smell is coming from the gents toilet it's a drain problem I think and it has been like this since 2012 when I used to go downstairs to eat in! At that time it was only downstairs, also whilst sitting there, there were loads of men appearing and using the toilet,and I wondered if they were just coming in there for that reason, I believe that was the case.I was really shocked when I visited a few weeks ago to find that the smell is now overpowering when standing at the counter, it was disgusting! It must be a health hazard. They need to sort it out and try and stop these men using the toilet without purchasing anything.Having said all that the food is fine and service very good, also the cleaning lady is very efficient, but not s miracle worker, re the toilets.........

Service isn't always good and they quite often get orders wrong. Also the woking resterant always has a bad smell in there. Very off putting to customers

As a regular customer, I can say that the staff are very attentive and cheery, even with the more challenging customers. However, their drinks tend to be quite weak at times. Also, It's open surprisingly late, so great for the night owls such as myself. :)

Nothing special - the usual Maccy D's fare of mediocre food but quick and handy for when you're on the go. Toilets available for customers.

The staff are very efficient even during busy hours. The food is of good quality, however, I can't say the same for the drinks because they taste very watered down. I suppose that is reflected in the price.

Usual Mc donalds food.... burger chips etc. Staff friendly and helpful, cleaner than some other mcdonalds I have been to. No bathroom facilities you have to go out of the restaurant and walk to the other end of the floor, not very helpful if you have children.
