McDonald's in Powys

Got our order completely wrong instead of two big tasty had 2 crispy chicken and had cheese burger happy meal in stadium of a nugget meal went back to change it then they sent bout cheese bites omg what the hell is going on there the moral of the story is check your food before you leave they have educated numptys working there 😞🤣

It started by ordering food and leaving without any drama, when we arrive home we have half of our order missing, we ring up McDonald’s and report it and we get a code to receive our missing food, I then had to walk 30 minutes at 12:30 at night to McDonald’s to pick up the rest of the food in the pouring rain to arrive and walk back to have cold food and the burger had black peices inside and the cheese wasn’t in the burger

Missed something off order really need to learn how to fill drinks right can't remember the last time I had a drink full to the top and sent medium fries instead of large

Not often I give McDonald's 5 star rating but in fairness the food was spot on, quick excellent service and nice clean premises.

The wakers were being questioned/interviewed in the cafe. Customers don't want to hear buisness meetings in a restaurant because it can be really intimate and they can't freely speak so whatever they were talking about is going to be inaccurate and silly take them in an office like it's so silly and they don 't want to be questioned in the middle of a cafe also risking there job if the speak freely in a resuant bad service go to Welshpool please. The employees were questioned/interviewed in the cafe. Customers don't want to hear business meetings in a restaurant because it can be very interesting and they can't talk freely so whatever they were talking about is going to be wrong and stupid to take them in an office like his be so stupid and they don't. don't want to be questioned in the middle of a cafe also endangering then job if the talk is free in a bad service go to Welshpool please.

The burger I ordered was a mig mac meal and it was so much smaller than it used to be and it was stone cold. I haven't been for a while but I used to like going to mc Donald's for a bit of a treat while out for the day. The quality has obviously decided since my last visit and I very much doubt I will be returning.

The cheese burger I had ordered tasted worse than the last time I was here the fries were to salty and the service was to slow I'm sorry I have to leave a bad review but I tell it as it is

Far too much salt on fries had to throw them away. Burger was OK, but a cold drink was warm and flat, so it was not a good experience at all

Tables were a bit dirty of food and 85% off rubbish bins were full. Hadn't been cleaned. Sat down with my order and drink for about 35 minutes and no member of staff bother to clean Tables or bins etc etc= knot good standards 🤔 😑

Ordered MC rib x2 and a bacon burger, lovely but do expect to pay for a bag even though it's not plastic, why??????. Then ordered a flurry and a apple pie,t took 20 minutes to get the dessert 😡

Only a drinks stop with 2 out of 8 of us eating very conveniently located with easy access.

Everything was cold. Disgusting. Will not go there again. I think McDonalds need to get their act together. This is the 4th one we have had food from that's been cold.

Allows orders for mcflurry's through the app, but when I get there, I am told the machine is down. No apology. Very lacklustre staff and service.

Just called in for a coffee & an Apple Pie on our way to Aberystwyth. Usual quality & prices. All good. Another visit to McDonald's today for a coffee and fries 🍟🍟, good place for a break on our journey

dont go through the drive through if you have low clearance as the speed bumps are horrendous. I had to park up as I knew I would ground out on them 😯😯😯

It's mackies, what more can be said. You go in there are the wrong time and you'll be swarmed with little kids screaming and older kids trying to look 'ard while they eat a mcflurry.

Everything was great. However, the car park bays are too small and definitely not big enough for modern-day cars.

Great place staff are lovely an always happy to help , easy parking,& never wait long for food, I'd like to give a special mention to the Lobby staff ,especially Matthew who works hard,hes always very polite an helpful, And always well presented, He's a credit to you! Most of the staff here are lovely an welcoming, especially a guy on lobby called Matthew he's a credit to you! always plesant an helpful, ...however there is one girl called *isabell* who is rude, blunt, an genuinely has a bad attitude, an its not just us that have noticed it! an just not nice to deal with or be served by at all ! Apart from that this mccies is fantastic!

As McDonald's go, this one has friendly staff, spotless toilets, and clean seating! No issues with service or food.

Worst Mcdonalds ever visited. Very slow service, 20 minute wait. Food was cold, and very small squashed burger looked as if it had been thrown across the room Into the box. Staff were doing table service, which held everything up. The poor lady at the counter was apologising profusely and literally running out with orders. The floors were covered in rubbish and food and only as we were leaving was someone sweeping up.

The worst mac i have ever used, unfortunately I have no choice but to use this one living in rural wales.. I can guarantee at least 1 of 4 things will happen to you here, 1, wrong food. 2, cold food, 3 that one item you really want is not available. 4, all of the above. Awful place.

Quick delivery of food, and a quiet place.

We all know that there are good and bad McDonalds even though the idea is to have the same standard everywhere. Well, this is a good one, food was very good, not sure how they would handle being very busy as a bit of a delay with it arriving.

Typical McDonald's, clean, efficient, average food as always, but convenient & I've been to a lot worse

Coming there few times a week and fast food doesn’t even exist no more. Waiting time is longer than Kebab house in the town. Avoid this establishment as this is absolutely ridiculous the way customers are treated !!!!

Really good McDonalds. Went on a bank holiday Monday and it was heaving but service was still fast and the food was good!

Dirty, dirty, dirty. I've never been in a mcdonalds before that is so dirty. No one cleaning tables, the floor doesn't look like it's seen a mop in days, and even then, it would have only been a fleeting meeting. Floor mats haven't been vacuumed in days. The filth under the moveable recycling stations was unbelievable. Won't take much to fix all of this as usually mcdonalds standards are higher. Sunday morning 10:45.

ordered 2 big mac meals 1 we ordered without any pickles which i’m very allergic to and got pickles was absolutely horrible and then there was no fizzy drink to complete my meal was fuming time i left

So, no quality related complaints. More of an irritation really. I frequently use the drive thru for morning coffees. Sometimes one sometimes two. When I order two I am automatically given a cup holder. A cup holder for a vehicle that has 2 cup holders. Where is the common sense? Why aren’t you ASKING if the customer would like a cup holder? It means unnecessary rubbish. Be smart and save yourselves on the cost lines, not giving a cup holder out on every car that orders 2 drinks will leave you up on your counts, that gain could be the difference between blowing your gap and hitting it!

Very disappointed in the amount of tomato sauce on the burger Burgers drenched in sauce that is was inedible 😢

Service is a bit hit and miss when you get a special order in the drive-thru, expect a long wait and cold food 😱

Food was not hot, waited ages for our food

No card payments at main till. And self order machine both playing up, but food was correct when we received it, so definitely improving, keep it up.

Visited today and was struck by how polite the staff were and they were working early hard to get the orders out during a rush. Also massive win as the milkshake machine wasn't off. First time I've tried and succeeded at getting a McDonalds milkshake anywhere!

Very poor .all meals served with a flat warm drink with no ice .and no attempt to pre warn customers. It has been the same way hear for well over a week as the same thing happend last weekend.

Awful! Coke was warm with no ice, and the chips were cold! This was the restaurant at Newtown, Wales, and we've had this experience before there, so won't be going there again!

Good clean McDonalds with petrol station next door

Went to through messed my order and forced Me to go through again so they could give me the amount I ordered. Found out after that they had also messed up my original burger. But I couldn't bring myself to go around a third time.

Food was a little slow at coming out. BUT it was 10 am on a Sunday morning. Sooooo? But the Guy who was cleaning up in there needs a medal. He was working so hard. He was very polite and helpful.

Twice we went there and twice they missed things off the order. No staff on counter to tell and ended up having to shout to get someone to see me. Too busy behind the scenes. No straws and bins were overflowing and wasn't even that busy.

Cleanliness in the gents and outside tables poor. Surfaces very unhygienic. Had run out of salt. But for once they used salted chips as Macdonald's used to.

Breakfast was OK, but they forgot the hash brown 👎 I ended up staying slightly over the 90mins and was fined £50, very disappointed 👎👎

Too many customers, not enough staff on that will help. I've given up with McDonald's and gone across the road to Burger King. Much better service.

Stopped for a coffee on our travels yesterday. It was chaos. Staff didn't seem to know what was going on. They were asking for receipts from machines for proof of order (which is fair), but they weren't concerned when we fed back that no receipts were coming from the machine. The toilets weren't great. Long queues at the drive-through, which has a knock-on impact on getting out of the car park. However, usual, good cappuccino enjoyed 😉

App didn't work in there. Food was slowwww. But hot when I got it. £8+ for large meal. 🤔 Nice tho

Yet again they manage to get orders wrong, 3 times in the last few weeks, twice I've ordered the spicy big tasty and received a mcspicy then today ordered a double big mac with bacon and received a standard big mac with bacon.
