Mcdonalds in North Lanarkshire

Usually, I let things slide, but after five straight trips through the McDonald’s drive-thru with messed-up orders, cold food, and transaction issues that made me loop back around, I’ve had enough. I don’t usually write reviews, but this pattern is just too much. Time to tighten up, McDonald’s!

No phone signal at the drive thru, so I couldn't complete my online order, had to go in store and wasted 10 minutes at the counter

Update 26/102024. Another bungled order. Yes, in addition to below. Mcd Mcdonalds should have a guarantee that if you are served with missing items, you get your order free. Really, the order items are listed on a printout on the bag What is so difficult that someone can not check the order. Another bungled order. 2 out of 4 breakfast Mcmuffins missing. Drove home and had to return. Ensured full order prepared from scratch and resolved. Quality checks and training required.

Usual truck driver experience - Quite a few McDonalds are helpful and allow us to get food at night. We can't fit through the drive thru, but this one has refused to help. Likely 4 or 5 hours before I find something else. Just pathetic, it's not even busy - absolutely no danger of getting run over!!

Forgot nuggets. Ordered 3 items and got 2. The level of incompetence is insane. Edit: we've ordered from here several times and the order has always been wrong. ALWAYS. Thought it might be better in person. NOPE. Give this one a miss.

I drove through listening to a bad podcast. Atmosphere wasn't great. Service was good. I rated it. Helpful young people earning a crust. Food I am lost how there could be such a big disconnect between how they advertise and what you get. Surely advertising standards should have clamped down on old macD some time ago? Regardless, I just order burger patties and skip the buns and all else. Can't go too wrong with seasoned meat. 3 double cheese burgers, no buns no cheese. £6 odds. Feels great. Will do again. 😀

This place seems mainly designed for drive thru... If you go inside your food order seems to take ages but all the workers inside are going like the clappers to get the drive thru order done. Also they have an automated drinks machine that only seems to fill the cups about 80% Also only order mini mcflurries as they give you the exact same amount regardless of if you order a full size one.

First time trying this one gave me chicken nuggets instead of chicken selects, wrong sauce, zero straws for drinks, freezing food, stale burger buns, awful experience if wasn't so tired would go up and sort it but way to tired to deal with incompetence at this time of night 👎 21/08/24 Still awful can't follow directions of custom order of burgers, chips not cooked and hard, chicken raw, burger not fresh place needs sorted asap disgusting 👎

Food always wrong, chips lifted out fryer to early, no phone number to contact the store is a joke

No hash brown or drink with three meals out of four ONLY RECIEVED ONE DRINK AND ONE HASH BROWN. If I didn’t want meals I wouldn’t have paid the extra for them! Upset as it’s a birthday breakfast.

Was a good place, nothing different than other McDonald's.

3rd time the order has been wrong or there have been items missing. Don’t know where the communication breaks down between staff but they should work on improving that.

Full of kids screaming and swearing. Rubbish from meals let on counters/tables. Seems like most McDonalds now need some sort of bouncer or security on the front door. Just not enjoyable to sit in. The seating area here is also quite small/limited but has a massive car park. 🤷‍♂️

Ordered a delivery today through Just Eat. After 30 mins was notified that the restaurant had cancelled the order without an explanation. My son was very disappointed. Rubbish service.

Breakfast stop before a 6hour drive to ullapool

2nd time I’ve drove home now to find my order was missing items. This time it was actually 3 burgers. The issue is that I stay 20 minutes away so just can’t go running back easy and if you try to phone it just makes bad even worse. Come on McDonalds 3 burgers missing that’s a total disgrace. Unhappy kids due to useless staff who would rather stand about and chat to each other and I simply won’t be back

Was great when it opened up, not sure what’s going on now, app never works to order so you can’t collect or spend points, tell staff who don’t really care, waited a few times now for up to 15 minutes just to order, last time I was met with, it’s a cash only as our card machine is down. So with the app down and no cash, no order! Had to wait for the cars in front to get served and leave before I could leave myself, even though they have the facility to move them further to the 2nd window to let me out. Not recommended :( The rats seem to be well fed though, they are becoming the size of cats

We stopped here on our journey south. Lovely friendly staff who went over and above. Danni was super friendly and brought our dog a bowl of water, as well as helping with our order. Close to the motorway, so we'll definitely stop here when we're traveling again. Highly recommend.

Never had a real issue in person although I do not order delivery from this one whenever possible as their is almost always a mistake with your order.

I always rate McDonald's food, they use very good ingredients too...

Absolutely shocking !!!!! Drinks with lids off 4 drinks spilled !!!!!! No nuggets meal . Medium chips filled 1/4 of the way ! No sauces even though I paid for them . No straws !! Not that I had drinks to drink from . This is pathetic!!!!!!!

My delivery time kept changing. Then it took over an hour to get my food delivered to me. I’m not happy and I won’t be ordering through JustEat anymore. There are TOO many problems with ordering through this app.

ordered double big mac, box clearly states it should be double big mac but only normal big mac in box. incompetent service from McDonald's again

coffee in the order had leaked to being empty in the bag, that the driver had left at front door so didn't get the chance to talk to him. driver obviously knew because the bag was dripping

Double Big Mac was a mess, far too much lettuce, had to re-assemble it when it arrived.

Every single time I’ve ordered anything to come with a dip ect they never pack them. If I order pancakes and syrup and the syrup is missing it’s not really ideal is it!? Literally same every time.

The delivery driver was very nice🥰. but im quite disappointed with the food i got as i ordered a chocolate and raspberry pie and received a normal apple pie, easy mistake though.

I was missing a diet cola and I ordered the 9 select sharebox and got nuggets instead and I had no dips, after spending ao much money I would have expected my order to be correct.

The bags were handed to me and the drink had exploded all in the paper bag and had leaked everywhere , which meant I didn’t have a drink with my meal . The bag with my food in it looked as if it had been crumpled up

On time but didn’t leave it at the door as requested phoned me to say it was delivered and I said thank you. Updated the app to say it’s delivered but they didn’t deliver it at all

Medium chips were half full disappointed food cold

I placed order on app. I was waiting for my food half hour because my order was lost… I needed to show 5 times my order on my phone, because they didn’t believe me that I had order. Fatal service. Probably because this is new point, but this mess is unacceptable… EDIT: They can’t peeper even one order correctly. Absolutely hopeless…

shocking delivery time, the times were constantly getting pushed back and worked out that we would be waiting still for our food 1hr 30mins. Not on at all ridiculous for fast food and quality wasn't great at all!!!!!!

Just driven home after picking up my order to find it’s short. Frustrating but I should have checked before I left. The place looks like it’s run by kids. Won’t be back

When it first opened this location provided great service and didn’t miss a beat. Now however, things have changed for the worse. Every visit to this location you have to wait past the drive thru windows for your food, our worst wait was over 30 minutes. Orders are never complete with items missing, sauces missing or incorrect ingredients in items. If you are considering McDonald’s, I would highly recommend another location rather than this one!

Again no straws or sauces. This is like every time we order. Also, the mcflurrys only had a drizzle of sauce, no topping! Disappointed again.

Ordered placed at 10:50pm for 11:10pm. del on a Tues night. 8 delays & 4 driver changes & now quoting 12:30am at the earliest. IMPOSSIBLE to contact the store. Informed by uber the order had already been prepared by 11:30pm and that it will be an hour later before delivery... At the earliest. And if I wished to cancel I still had to pay 100% or the order. Mcdonald's just redirect to uber. Horrendous customer service from all parties.

3 items missing, the lettuce was yellow Again and on top of my box there was a finger print of blood food straight in the outside bin decusting!!!

I’ve had so many bad experiences with this. I don’t know why I keep ordering from here. Left my food on the doorstep without knocking or ringing. It’s pouring down with rain. Thanks very much.

Order was showing out for delivery for over 30 mins even though it is only a 10 min drive. Food was tasteless. Fries undercooked and colder than the McFlurry.
