McDonald's in Doncaster

Very clean, friendly staff and of course great food!

Situated next to an out of town retail outlet next to other fast food places and a Pub/Premier inn. Also only a few minutes from the M18 motorway. The car park is quite small. Waiting times here are often quite long either because it is very busy or insufficient staff at quieter times. My last visit was especially disappointing. A 20 minute wait in an almost empty Mcdonalds then received a clock cold Ranch Stack. It Probably shouldn't be a surprise that the place was almost empty. Anyway they were happy to replace it but the substitute fell apart. The restaurant was too cold, parts had been closed off and some of the tables hadn't been cleaned. Some way below the normal Mcdonalds experience.

Breakfast this time. Two meals for under a tenner (£9.98) Inc large tea. I thought it was regular with a breakfast but large so bonus. As normal and delivered to table. Breakfast now ends at 11am in case you didn't know.

Rating McDonald's 5 stars for pulling out of Israel. Food is what it is.. won't make you sick if you need to run for England in the Olympics next day.. but won't do you any good on a regular basis.. that said it's deliciously terrible junk food! Staff were great

Waited 15 minutes for 2 cheeseburgers and 2 coffees and there was only 1 customer before us. Fast food by name but not by nature.

Very poorly organised on the drive through. A learner drive pulled upto first window (I was in the car as a experienced driver) lad on front window made no effort to stop us, had back turned to the window messing around on what looked like a phone, pulled upt second window and female there was of no help causing further stress to the learner driver causing the driver to park up somewhere and get out the car to breath. Very poorly organised and lack of training shown its true colours. What you get for employing children

Every time we visit the order is wrong. Completely missed my wife's meal off. Not using them again

Double Qtr pounder meal hit the spot

Couldn't find what I wanted on the order board so ordered at the desk. Dan took our order, he was very helpful and friendly, chatting with my granddaughter about Christmas trees. He was also kind enough to bring our order to the table. Thank you Dan.

Breakfast is meant to start at 5 but whenever I get there pretty much every time either the machines not warmed up or it’s just not working. They state there will be a 20 minute wait at 5;15am that’s not just once, every day for the past couple of weeks. When I have waited for it, I get my food and the muffin is burnt or they’ve forgot a piece of my food. Worst McDonalds in Doncaster.

Drive thru takes forever endless times ive ended up late for work from being stuck in drive through

Very slow barely warm food. At least the coffee was reasonably hot.

I got a burger and it was really greasy it was freezing cold it was not edible wouldn't recommend the breakfast at that makdonalds I definitely will not be going there again for breakfast

Loved this McDonald’s the staff were super friendly and went above and beyond to help us with our order. Danielle was very playful with the kids 6 and 7 yr olds. She is a credit to your team.

Yet again, in another MacDonalds waiting a long time for delivery driver orders over regular customers. Totally spoiling the service Mcd's used to have.

Ordered via the App. Arrived at McDonald's Lakeside and joined queue 2 as there was one car in lane 1 and nothing in lane two. Several cars passed in lane 1 before someone said they "won't be long". The car behind us reversed and joined lane 1 and then passed us. We gave up waiting and went to the first window. Gave our app order number to be told it wasn't in the system even though I showed them the order in the App. The app then displayed an error code while we were waiting at the window, and we had to reorder. This meant we then had to park and wait, which would have been ok had the order been brought out correctly, but items were missing, and I had to go in to resolve this.

Chaotic. There were2 orders ahead of mine on the board when I arrived and I ended up waiting ages by which time there must have been nearly 20 orders waiting. Doorway was full of people waiting let alone the drive thro. Kitchen seemed ineffectual. One couple querying an eat in order 10 numbers ahead of mine (which was no longer on the board) didn't get their meal until well after I eventually sat down. Won't use this McD again.

Terrible service sat in drive through for 30 minutes, had to go inside to see where our food was, there was loads of food just sat on the counter waiting for uber drivers.

I purchased a coke full fat. Cup says 0.4 litre. I received half a cup of ice. When I challenge the manager, first she told me I shouldn’t buy it if I thought it was too expensive then she said that’s how it comes and don’t complain to me as it’s above my pay grade. Just in case you get too read this!! There is no difference from buying a pair of jeans and finding one leg was a photo🙈 No it’s not the money, it’s about being fair, honest and having a little integrality and self respect….. Great service if you want to be ripped off

Staff spend too much time talking. Food hanging around waiting to be handed out. When you stop for a break on a long journey, you want to eat, drink, and move on. Less talking and more foucas on getting the order complete, please 🙏

Ordered 2 Philly cheese stacks and a big Mac meal at the the drive thru, all three burgers were cold. If we hadn't been in a rush and I would have taken them back. Won't go again!

We waited ages for food to be ready and when it was it was cold Don't usually my husband said it was the worst macs he'd had. We've been numerous times before and it was okay The older staff seemed busy all the time perhaps they would be better cooking ..

This branch seems to have staffing issues. Long wait for food, no table delivery, and dirty tables and seats.

Maryann is such a beautiful person to greet everybody and a really hard worker. She never stops. I watch her powering around the restraunt area most weeks making sure it is spotless and cheering up the customers. Her laugh is contagious. Food is brilliant too. Ideal to recharge your batteries after a drive from Sheffield to Doncaster before heading bk.

Food was slightly cold but other than that it was ok

Just ordered a wrap, was waiting a good 2 minutes for the person to answer the speaker. Then go to the first window, he messed up my order after telling him 3 times. He then sends me to the next window and says they can amend it, woman tells me she can't change it. She apologises, ignores my question when I ask is the person new, and goes away. Disappointing service

We went to the drive in absolutely awful. The guy couldn’t understand what I wanted I had to say it 3 times in the end I gave up. He was constantly joking on the speaker. When order was finished I thought speaker was off I was really cross that he had overheard a conversation. I complained at the window. We was told to wait in a bay lots of cars drove pass us with food. My daughter went in to find out where our food was. Management came out and said I was rude to this guy who couldn’t understand what I wanted. Manager then threatened me that I would be refused service if it happened again. I was absolutely shocked he didn’t want to hear how I was spoken too whatsoever or my struggles with his member of staff mucking around on the speaker. Our food had been slapped together which didn’t eat didn’t trust what had been cooked for us. Absolutely disgusting behaviour.

Always good when your busy shopping to stop and have a rest and what better place than McDonalds always good value for money and a tasty treat for you and the children

Immaculately clean when visited, food delivered to the table (ordered via app) quickly and was excellent. It's only half a minute off the M18,it's better than stopping at a motorway services . Credit to everyone involved at this Mcdonald's restaurant

The restaurant is great , bit busy for a saturday evening. We had to wait about 15 min for our order but the food was great.

The fat Karen cleaner refused my autistic 12 year old a hat

The food was good, yet my children were having a party (autistic, just turned 12) and we asked for a party hat, she rudely said no and said they are too old. They then gave my child one (only hay without a string and there was 4 of children and me) and didn’t give my children a keychain like she gave the younger children. I find this disrespectful and stereotypical. And if she carry’s on I’m coming in and disrespecting her haircut. Also my children started crying because the dandruff wasn’t snow.

Most mcdonalds you go to are all the same im terms of standard, speed etc. One of their workers Louis really puts a personal touch to the job by asking personally if he can help, if everything is on the table as ordered and if he can get you anything else. I.E dips etc. Really noted and impressed as this role can be really robotic. Would visit just for the extra service.

Only got a small amount of food but I was the only one in a large queue to have to park up and wait for my meal. Not happy about that.

Order was wrong as ever, but not only did they get it wrong, I gave them back.my were in a receipt so they could do the order again, and they still got it wrong. Mcdonalds has a bad rep, but ever since this whole Made for You thing came it mcdonalds has gone downhill, and the staff just look clueless. I don't often go to mcdonalds anymore and this just reminded me why.

39 minutes for 2 sausage and egg mcmuffin meals absolutely insane. Having to order through a huge screen is so sad we want to talk to the zombies behind the counter Been looking forward to eating together but ended up having to eat it on the run. 39 minutes. that's TWO episodes of corrie minus the ads or a flight to AMSTERDAM!!!!! it's enough time to walk TWO MILES to the next macdonalds. Could cook a full chicken. Do a wash cycle, fold and rack a weeks laundry, Service a 4 cylinder diesel, do a full tesco shop. What can be achieved in 39minutes is incredible, upto and including getting 2 sausage and egg mcmuffins from the shelf behind you and 2 tropicanas from the tropicana store. Ps wasn't busy in shop or drive through.

Since McDonald's changed there restaurants and make food fresh to order, it seems a really slow process these days. And food still comes out cold, priority seems to be given to Delivery drivers & drive thru. Even ordering just a drink or mcflurry you can be waiting 10mins, so it's sat there going cold or warm or melting. Not a great experience tbh

First in the queue at drive thru. But then they served 2cars before us in the other lane who joined after. Would have been fine if the range rover hadn't taken 5 mins to order and 16mins to serve. Fast food it wasn't. Drinks mysteriously served without ice. Was only passing so I don't need to worry too much about avoiding.

One of my favourite outlets. Food is consistently lovely compared to other outlets that are hit and miss. Staff are really nice and all of them wish you a nice day! There is a McDonald's closer to where I live but I would rather travel the extra distance to this one!

Ive just collected a 10 person order with several customised items. Service was brisk and the order correct in full. Fantastic.

Service was a bit slow given my order, it should've been no more than a few minutes wait. Everything else was spot on!

Was drive thru- came home worse quarter pounder burger. I don’t remember burger hanging massively over the burgers bap. Hardly any onions and sauce.

Drive through was extremely slow, food ok but not as hot as it could have been.

The meal I had was so heavily laden with sauce that it ruined the burger 🍔 absolute garbage from such a large franchise. They should be ashamed of themselves.

No receipts at self service, no table Nos for table service. Waited ages for breakfast as they blamed ordering a flatbread? (Surely they only had to heat the bread as bacon and cheese were already cooked?) Then one of the coffees tasted like water. Then although we ordered "eat in", we got our order in a paper bag! First at last time at this branch! (Lakeside)

Absolutely shocking place clearly no clue what they are doing, couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery, missed our nuggets out of the bag to top it all off it wasn't even busy it was after half 10 pm don't waste your time. Supervisor spoke to his staff like chimps

Mcdonalds staff members are more interested in dealing with delivery orders than walking in customers these days, I waited 20 minutes for my order deliveries where flying out, and I don't think I will be going in Mcdonalds anymore 😢 😕

It was bad luck that everything was very cold, nothing was hot believe me from my art a bad experience.

Very small serving area but it was fast and efficient and more importantly the seating area is quite large.

Never received our order after 1 hour rang the store to be told they were looking for a driver. After 2 hours I rang again to be told there are no drivers in the area and to order from somewhere else.

Baconless big tasty with bacon. Looked slung together by a 3yr old. No flurrys, no milkshake and no hot drinks!!! Man in next bay had cold food brought out. Total fiasco

Food was as expected, waited almost half a hour to order at the counter as was paying cash. This was with only 2 people in front. Had to get the attention of a staff member to come and take my order. Waited a further 25 minutes for the food when other party members were finished with their food. Was asked to move my pram as was a hazard apparently even though I placed it where I got the hair chair from. When I asked where I should put it I got a mouthful off the cleaner saying it wasn't her problem I just needed to move it. Ended up sitting on my own at another table so I could move the pram. Wouldn't visit this one in store again. Drive through is much much better at this location.

Rarely have I walked into an extremely busy McDonald’s and felt calm welcomed and cared for After ordering 2 x meals Kim offered to get my meal when it was ready. Very kind Whilst I sat eating I observed The manager resolving customer requests. All I witnessed was relaxed and happy. Even with a full shop-very impressed 10/10 ⭐️

Today I went drive though and bought food for me and my family and food was incorrect and Diet Coke was flat. This place is going down so terrible.

Got my sons order wrong. Then the food he did get gave him food poisoning later that night.

Absolutely atrocious customer service at the store! I endured an excruciating wait of nearly 15 agonizing minutes for my order, despite the eerie silence within. This level of inefficiency is downright absurd!

watched our breakfast items been prepared and tossed to one side, which then sat there for 5 mins + while the staff stood and talked then decided to sort out our drinks! food was just to say warm🤬 didn't complain as in a rush to catch a bus.
