McDonald's in East Hertfordshire

Drive-through and sitting in parking is a nightmare 😫 too small, not enough staff to control people queuing for the 2 separate services. Queues are always down the road. Puts you off going there.

Typical fast food restaurant, you get what it says on the tin basically

Surprisingly good. Helpful staff and the food was freshly prepared.

Slow, colleagues just standing around chatting not doing no work, had no onions in my burger at all think McDonald's hires Roberts now

Need to come up with a plan to resolve traffic issues leading out onto the busy roundabout

Food looks like it's been thrown together not much salad in the chicken burgers and cold chips

Drive thru staff regularly put the wrong order through and are unhelpful (not rude) when you challenge them on it. Food is usually fresh and warm but don't bother ordering a large drink of any kind because you just won't get it.

This place is utterly disgraceful they gave me 19 nuggets instead of 20 and also overfilled the lettuce on my burger. DONT COME HERE

Below Average mcdonalds. They seemed to have staffing issues when i was there. So unfortunately not fast food. Slow food would be a better description.

Who doesn't love a quick maccys

So I go to McDonald's today, order a Chicken Mayo burger with extra mayo, cheese, bacon, and no lettuce. I get my order, and what do I get? A burger with ZERO extra mayo, packed with lettuce—so much lettuce I had to rip half the thing out. Fine, whatever, I walk into the store with my receipt showing EXACTLY what I ordered, expecting them to fix it. They give me a new burger—then have the nerve to tell me I have to PAY AGAIN. Are you kidding me? I’m already paying for a mistake you made, and now you want me to pay more for fixing it? This is a straight-up scam. McDonald's is charging customers for their own incompetence now. Unreal sort it out guys!

Service slow through drive through, carpark is caos traffic backs out onto a major road so can be dangerous

Not the best McDonald's around food was ok but got two orders wrong and took a long time.

VERY DANGEROUS! Won’t be long until something terrible happens with the tailbacks across a very busy road and roundabout!

Would be nice if the food was presented like the photos and not like it's been used as a football.

Inside is lovely , extremely clean , even the toilets, friendly staff and fast service. Outside....nightmare , car park is awful, not thought through properly in design as drive in lane restricts parking spaces and causes issues when trying to park or leave parking space. The staff that are supposed to help with parking are unfortunately hopeless, just stand watching.

All good apart from the que on roundabout to get in to Mc D.

This restaurant needs to sort out the traffic problem caused by cars queuing on the roundabout to use the drive in.

Fast and hot, polite staff god roadway stop on a journey. Slight congestion getting in as its on a roundabout but there are attendants directing you so it moves quickly.

OK. The car park is so ill-conceived that the queue for the drive-in blocks all incoming traffic to the restaurant. So much so that they have to salary at least one poor individual to sit outside and try to rectify and direct the traffic chaos the disastrous layout has caused. One has to see how bad it is to believe it. The drive in traffic actually snarls into tailbacks of hundreds of yards back onto the main road. It will blow your mind! Don't come here if you value your time and sanity.

Staff smiley and friendly especially the ladies who clear the tables. Thankyou my 2 granddaughters love it of course.

The car park system for this McDonald’s is chaotic. A guy holding a sign will direct you to either the car park or drive-thru, but there is never enough space for either. Extremely busy. Also closes very early and does not offer delivery service.

2 x breakfast wraps purchased today had burnt sausage. Not the normal service

Every time I go here and ask for a plain burger they never make it plain don’t recommend going to this Mac Donald’s they also have very rude staff

Came here with a friend for a meal and ordered meal via my phone and within few minutes my food came to me while my friend was waiting in line for his and it was piping hot for a change.

Remember when McDonalds used to be fast food? Well not here. I'm surprised you don't have to make a reservation.

Conveniently located, semi decent service at times given the time it takes for orders to be served. Always check your order before leaving though if ordering take away or drive through as I've always had items missing or wrong drinks served. Can be quite busy inside.

If using drive thru check your order before driving off,when I first started using drive thru I'd get home and stuff was missing on more than one occasion so now I check before I drive off and a good job too as still missing stuff"not Everytime"but a little bit to frequent,so always check

Always an easy pick up and reasonable prices.

Consistently giving a medium fries in a large fries box. Every single time I have to give it back to get them to fill it up to what I paid for. Tony Fagg the franchisee- unbelievable that you still teach this. Shame on you.

Excellent, i used the drive through, service is excellent.

Getting in and out of the car park causes congestion on the roundabout and is a hazard.

Drive through ok breakfast wrap as good as ever, but the hot chocolate is weak and watery as usual.

Parking and exiting is a nightmare

No issues with the food or service. It’s the drive through (whose location and length is dire) and the regular queue that backs up onto the Rush Green roundabout. It’s an accident waiting to happen so will avoid it during busy periods. It’s a shame as it’s easy to get to and my closest branch.

Remember children, always provide the customer with a straw for his milkshake.

Drive through queue is dangerous

The parking and sometimes dangerous entrance to this McDonald's makes me mark it down.

It's a McDonalds! What can I say? Parking and the drive-through are the main problems here. Traffic backs up onto the roundabout, which is dangerous. Walk or cycle if you can.

I got a Big Mac, asked for no Big Mac sauce I wanted bacon and ketchup, there was Big Mac sauce no bacon or ketchup, I am missing my chicken selects I have these things instead also the Big Mac looked like food for pigs and I wouldn’t even feed a pig the food. This has happened multiple times I will not be getting my food from this McDonalds very disappointed all there staff are kids, they need to fix this issue!!

Quick drive through, and despite some cold chips, it was a normal fast food standard.

Awful faff for parking. Ordered via display inside. Overly complicated and sometimes unclear of what is being ordered. Long wait time for food. Food was lukewarm (apart from hash brown which was the only thing that was hot), coffee lukewarm and unpleasant. Table service OK except for the time between order and being served. Used to be a treat to come here. Won't be coming back.

Parking can be busy at peak times

Nothing wrong with the food, some of the best I've had from mcdonalds. Service is a bit slow and soem staff are impolite. The atmosphere inside is quite nice.

We went drive-thru which is appalling - whoever planned the flow of traffic didn't use their brain. The queue sticks out onto the busy A10 roundabout several times a day, it's a complete accident zone. Aside from the terrible layout, it's a usual McDonald's and staff did their best to keep traffic flowing.

Location not very good!!!! But otherwise everything ok

This night I visited this McDonald I ordered food drive throu. I order veggie deluxe burger, veggie dipper, small fries and sweet sour dip. But when I took food and when opened packet I saw they gave extra medium fries and they charged as well. But I ordered only small fries. and there are sweet and sour dip was missing.

Table was not clean after used by other customers. I had to clean the table myself.

A bit expensive for portion sizes these days. Kids meals need to be bigger.

Chips not cooked , but they were warmed up and I tried to ask at Shirley Macdonalds and I didn't get any help. Instead I slept hungry 😩 with kids and I am very upset with them. The guy who answered my phone said I should ask the deliverer. Is the one who cooks.So if it was food poison was I going to ask the deliverer.

McDonalds is not what it was, when I was younger it tasted so much better. Much better quality ingredients. Now it's just sad. It's a has been.

This mcdonalds always good, but getting to it is a real pain. Always a traffic jam.

Had a meal in which was absolutely fine, got a takeaway for my husband only to realise we had been given the wrong drink when we got home (despite having paid extra!). Obviously no point going back at that stage!

Queues for the Drive Thru were a bit of a nightmare, going back to the roundabout. Service was flawless by the time I got to order (after a queue of about 10 minutes).

But of a mix up with order. Couldnt be bothered to wait for rest of order 😟

Always something missing from the order, today it was my grandsons McFlurry 🙄
