Nice wraps, especially when on offer like the wrap of the day bargain.

Honestly, we didn’t make any purchases there, but watch my video to see why we stopped by. I was truly impressed by the cleanliness and how well-equipped the restroom was with toiletries. Thank you, McDonald's, for your hospitality!

Ordered online at this macdonalds and as I ordered it changed location to another macdonalds at junction 29. We informed the manager Holly who was disinterested and told us to go there to get it. Our response was by the time we get there it’ll be cold or they’ll have thrown it away. It’s not our fault the location changed. Again she was disinterested and said we couldn’t get refund. However a short time later a woman called Alice who works there really helped us and got the store manager by the name of Maciej. He was apologetic and gave us a refund there and then he was polite. Alice really went above and beyond to help. Alice who works there was also really kind to my little girl and had time for customers. All these deserve credit. It shows if you escalate things there’s always a way. Shame there’s to many managers like Holly around to not want to help. She was more then happy to leave us sat there with nothing and my little girl go without after not being our fault. Apart from that member of staff the rest are a credit.

Waited for ages at the drive through and then order was wrong

If you eat in and order using table service it's much quicker than waiting in the queue. Customer server was polite efficient and even tidied my tray away afterwards. The only thing I didn't like were the few roudy teenage customers at the table next to me. The food was hot, quicky served and the place was clean.

For a McDonald's at a services this one really surprised me. Food was hot and tasted freshly cooked. No skimping on gherkins.

Food always cold and they always forget something and there blended ice machine is always broke or out of use

Wow, kids screamin/runnin everywhere, i know kids get excited to be there, but its not a pkayground, staff slow & didnt seem to want to be there, when number was finally called, they tried telljn me i'd ordered chicken nuggerts, i'm veggetarian, thank god for reciepts, they tried arguein with me..all in all took 35mins for 2 chips & 2 veggie dippers..been here a few times, never used to be this bad

Went today ..used drivethrough ...lovely friendly staff ..nice smile from everyone + food served piping hot ...WELL DONE

So its meant to be fast food waited 20mins in parking bay after going through drive through if I wanted to wait that long I would go into the pub chain next door

Usual Macdonalds menu, unfortunately some new items were not available to try but plenty of other choice. Have visited a few times before and after being at the airport as not far from there. Many kids hanging around outside sometimes it causes a problem at night when we have visited and door was locked for security not ideal when trying to get in and order. Carpark is quite small at peak times. Staff friendly but seem its a job they have to do not want to do.

Food prices are now getting silly, even my kids who are huge maccies fans say its got too expensive now. Maccies used to be the place for a cheap tea or lunch somewhere to take the kids,it now isnt.

On way to alton towers stopped off to feed kids usual to expect from McDonald's missing items !

I loved the seating, I've never seen that before in McDonald's. Fast service and happy staff. There is plenty of parking and laid out, so you drive in and are facing the correct direction for the exit. Mcchicken burger and limited edition triple. Hit the spot so we could carry on south. And dont forget the toffee latte, fantastic 😀

Went in today with my partner for some dinner on our way to London and the female manager with dark hair was shouting at a delivery driver like he was a child. And this was infront of everyone. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from a manager

Long waiting time for food and it was called rude staff member also

Never give you sauces. This has been my local mcdonalds for the last 5 years, unfortunately. They also park every car that goes in the drive through, even when the drive though is pretty much empty to make it look to their bosses that they have fast serving times. The average time to be served here is 15-20 minutes however i once waited 30 minutes and it turned out they forgot to bring my order out. It then took another 20 minutes for them to do my order again. The leave McFlurrys on the side so they are completely melted by the time they hand them to you. The chips are usually half full. The staff usually look hungover or high. The burger look like they were sat on after being put together by someone with Parkinson’s disorder. If it werent that id have to drive another 20 minutes to get to another mcdonalds id never go to this one. I would recommend going next door to kfc, and thats an awful kfc. If you really want McDonalds, next services both southbound and northbound are far better.

Brilliant as usual only problem I have is overspill of pepper cannot stand pepper

Seems that the best time to visit is early hours in the morning when noone is around, coz the moment that it picks up, everything seems to go to shambles. I was waiting to place my order for about 10 minutes, then a queue started forming behind me(about 5 more people) then someone came and took my order. The guy was polite and apologized, but after he took my order and I've other person, he was told to go back to food prep, when there were still people waiting to be served. Some of the staff seemed too bothered about arguing with customers that were banned, which I don't find very professional. It's McDonalds, but expecting 5* service but this was ridiculous.

Clean and the service was fast, they seemed to get our order right which most don't so no complaints.

Pretty average. On my visit the bins where full and they looked understaffed.

Score given due to attitude of second server on the drive thru. The drink was clearly only half full (which she gave without a word or smile), no ice. Asked nicely if could be filled up. No apology, smile, not even eye contact. Filled up with sprite, still no ice, pleasantries or manners to be seen. Rude. The only bonus was the food. Hot and what i had ordered. Shame the 30 mile drive ahead, I remained thirsty.

Ordered on Uber eats at 1150pm and they accepted the order but said no receipt had come through that no communication from them and turned the driver away at 1230am saying the can’t make the food after 1230am saying it’s because we order after 12 which we didn’t and said sometimes they turn it off early even though they accepted the order so the lied because they couldn’t be bothered

I genuinely thought I was being ranked and on camera. But no, just terrible. Can I have a cheeseburger please? "No" Ok, a plain burger please? "No" Chicken burger? "No". What do you have? "wait a second" "apple pie". Miserable person and no food. What a waste of time and effort. Absolutely I do not recommend and actually advise to avoid.

Usually a convenient place to stop for a quick break when travelling on M1 but whilst service is quick they can’t even get a simple order right. Check your order before you leave 🙄

Worst McDonald’s in the area! Hopefully the Chesterfield McDonald’s near the cinema will be re-opening soon so we don’t have to go here again! As a general manager in a pub, I can say that Stephen the shift manager is not competent in the role he has been given. My partner (a former McDonalds Customer Experience Leader) and I came during a quiet period at the store after a very long day at work. We had a voucher for money off and we’re served by Stephen. He scanned the code which at first didn’t work so he input it manually. I thought I’d seen the the total on the card reader show the amount before the price reduction was added. After paying I asked Stephen for reassurance that the correct amount had been charged. He reassured it had. Whilst waiting for our meal to be prepared, upon checking, it showed that the amount without the discount had been taken out of my bank account. I told the person at the collection window that I would like a refund of the £3 that the discount was for. Something that should have been a simple task. I was told to reverse back to the previous window, which I did, and Stephen offered to do the refund. He gave me a refund but not for the £3, for the whole meal. I wasn’t sure at first if this was for the inconvenience. I went back to the collection window and Stephen came to that window. I queried with him about the refund of the full amount and he told me there was no way he could refund the £3 and even after I had used my money off voucher was told that I could reorder the food but pay the full price. I’d now lost my voucher to which Stephen’s response was that I needed to phone customer services. All this time, our food had already been prepared and was in a bag on the side. I said to Stephen that I wasn’t refusing to pay but wasn’t paying more than I was initially told when I was overcharged. In the end, I lost my one time use only voucher, went away without the food and a bag of perfectly good food that I had ordered either went to work or was eaten by the staff. The funny thing is that when I queried what would happen to the food when he refused to sell it to us that a member of staff took the food and hid it round the corner. The shift manager told us that the store manager, Brandon, would be available to speak to tomorrow. Let’s hope he’s not as useless. Judging by some of the previous reviews though, I don’t have much hope!

McDonald's is going backwards. It was bad enough removing sliced tomato from burger customisation, now can't swap sauce for cool mayo on the Big Mac. They won't even let you have a small tub of cool mayo to put it on yourself. You can still add cool mayo on a quarter pounder but not lettuce! Apparently because it's a franchise (aren't most of them?) So, along with taking my own Heinz ketchup (McD switched to their own version some years ago) and tomato slices, we now also need to take some mayo. May as well go to a pub, some good offers out there at nearly the same price, with warmer comfortable seating, better customer service and a better burger with tomato slice, lettuce and mayo. Going back to BK to 'have it my way'. Can't send feedback because the self-service kiosks never give receipts, then try to feedback online through a virtual assistant is painful, it wants your receipt information!

I'd give a minus for staff for service and for the manager who didn't give a toss ...after a very long day at work we came to drive through , order was taken . Order was wrong , got told we'd have to drive back round and re order even though the guy said it was staff mistake . Got order totally wrong and item missing ( didn't check till got home ) phoned up and manager didn't care said we could drive back up and re get our order ( after going back through drive through ) absoloute joke , very bad customer service ....

Busy but served quickly by friendly staff

April 25th 8.30 ish pm ,2 cars order wrong, server had to come back twice,our car ad missed items ,food cold and the burger didn't have enough dressing in it and cold by time we got it. Friendly staff sadly shocking service

15 minutes for two McFlurrys what a joke

It's the same as all the rest. Although they do seem to have upped their game on the drive through. I've been 3 times recently and not had anything wrong or missing which makes a change

The food is good, standard macdonalds. The coke still let's it down, don't know what it is but it's more like watered down syrup than coke!!

Not that warm . Toffee latte Coffee was old, the cream had all melted and gone when I took the lid off to check

Drive through was nice and fast… everyone from the drive through was sat in there car waiting for food (6-8 cars and more arriving while we waited). Chips weren’t fresh they were like warm and no crunch. Wrap was dry as can be and needed to be re folded so that it didn’t instantly fall apart (think of cooked spaghetti). The lady bringing out the food was lovely and attentive. Double quarter pounder was good and nothing was missing!

The macdonalds food was made within a timely manner, the store was clean and the staff were friendly, my visit was around 3-4am and was one of the only macdonalds serving milkshakes. Took a good 40 minute drive to get there and another 40 to get back, was well worth the travel time

Chips were hot but the burger was only warm.

Ordered on phone app delivered to table 7 out favourite, points as well. Avoid the meat free burger, tastes off.

The food was okay, ruined by someone using a drill with a large SDS bit on near the door. He was huffing and puffing everytime someone walked past. He was making dust for us but also had no ear or eye protection on himself... I stop here and can be a little hit and miss

Check your order before you takeaway. They gave me old barely warm fries 😡. Had just gotten on to motorway before I tried them.

Went through drive thru, presentation was shocking, they just chucked everything in the bag with utter disregard. Had a double sausage & egg mcmuffin and it wasn't even wrapped properly and wasn't fully stacked. Also had pancake and sausage meals they were also just piled in. They only gave us 1 knife and 1 fork for the 2 meals which was shared between 3 people. They also practically threw the bag of food at us. I can tell why this mcdonalds is only 3 stars, will be the only time i ever go to this location.

It's a Maccys. I am diabetic and I can only have salad from McDonald's menu. It was ok. But cutting the tomatoes, chicken and cucumber with a card knife is difficult. You should chop it first.

Soŕry to say Probably the worse mcdonalds I have been in. The food took ages. The chicken was over done and tough. The meals where cold even though it took over 20mins for the order. I can only assume it was because we ordered the festive pie and none were ready. We saw the staff get the tray ready 2 times and then throw it back into the warming area. The delivery people have impacted on the quality and speed of service in all the mcd's we visit. Its getting to the point its not worth the visit.

At times, there are mistakes in the order, but food is tasty as usual McDonalds food.

Waited over 10mins for "fast food" at the drive thru. When food arrived, the servicer didn't not speak a word. No apology, nothing..... Customer service needs much work.

There is no bus service nearby. At at all good for travelling by public transport.

Possibly the best McDonalds I have visited. The staff greeted everyone with a friendly smile and a cheerful "hello, how are you today". It made you feel like you have been coming here for years. Food came out promptly and actually resembled the pictures in the adverts, which is shocking as I didn't know McDonald's food could look like that.

Drive through order. Part of our order was missing. Complained to a staff member who took a further 6 minutes to fetch 2x bottles of orange juice. By this time our food was cold. Hot chocolate just tasted of hot water… very disappointing experience

Extremely small portion on the fries and mcflurrys too. Service was slightly quicker than usual. Everytime we order you can guarantee a few things are not available. Expensive now too.

Call for coffee n occasional muffin early doors bout 6 am, does the job, polite staff to say there all hall asleep from night shift.

It's a McDonald's. Not really much to say. Food isn't awful but isn't great, staff attitudes aren't awful but aren't great (except maybe one or two) However, despite recent price increases, it's still a decent venue for quick comfort food. "Cheap and Cheerful"

The service here is one of the slowest I've known for this franchise. It's not uncommon to be stood at the order point for 3 or 4 minutes with no acknowledgement of your presence. It's even possible for another car to drive up to the second order point and be served immediately 😆. There's no apology for the long wait either. With the exception of 1 or 2 staff members, the payment window is depressing and somewhat robotic. I got some generic speil regurgitated before the window slammed shut and I couldn't even decipher the mumblings 🤷‍♂️ Collection window is a little livelier with a smile and a thank you. Not that the order is anything like you placed at the first point though. I think the staff here play McChinese Whispers as I genuinely haven't had one order from there that I've actually asked for, or hasn't had something missing. The staff aren't purposefully rude. It's not quite McKarens. It's just seems they've McGiven up and can't be McBothered 🤷‍♂️. It's worth a trip for the laugh though. If you're not hungry and don't mind waiting 10 minutes or so.... It's still better than 5timestheprice Guys👍
