Mcdonald Engineers in Fife

Last night my friend Freya and I went to McDonalds and we were warmly welcomed by Ross, he kindly said "hi guys how are you" and spoke to us asking about our day, he was a very nice guy and every time we go he treats us like his friends. The service he provided was efficient. Although he doesn't allow under 1 8s to sit in past 7 o'clock, so we got kicked out as soon as we collected our food because were under 18. I don't think this is fair on us.

Recently, I went out to McDonalds for a dinner but I wasn’t sitting in the restaurant in was in the car park where they bring the food to your car. And it took longer than 10-15 minutes to come out and some of the order was missing out of the bags so instead of just heading home like normal we have to head into the building and get the rest of the order. But when we went in and went to the counter we were greeted by a worker named Ross and when we explained to him that some of our order was missing he apologised for the inconvenience and went and got us fresh food and apologised for the time that has been taken.

Came to Scotland for a family funeral and stayed at the Travelodge ,went to Macdonald's for our evening dinner.i got a double cheese burger and fries and a drink,my brother got a chicken burger and fries and my sister got the chicken burger with salad. They were inedible when I took a bite the fat oozed through the buns it tasted disgusting,the fries were nice a bit pale in colour. MY brother and sisters meals were also inedible. Coming all the way from West yorkshire and trying to eat that wasn't good.In Keighley where we live the Macdonalds are really tasty and I have never had a reason to complain.

Dirty toilets flooded with caca and mooses. Not very welcoming staff all xtremely rude and clearly on minimum wage. Made me feel extremely uncomfortable after consumption. I dont know why i bother atp

couldnt get a order right too save there lifes, rude workers and came stone cold. wouldnt recomend coming here unless worse comes too worse

The food overall was okay but I ordered a smarties McFlurry and lt was literally mostly just huge chunks of ice, barely any ice cream, just ice.

Never fails to disappoint. We asked for a double PLAIN burger for my lactose intolerant son and it came with TWO slices of cheese. This is unacceptable. My son is in a critical condition because of this tradgidy

They mucked up aw our orders so I am NOT a happy customer… will NOT be returning here unless worst comes to worst(holocost pt2) would NOT recommend and i am VERY unsatisfied.

Ordered via the app. Called restaurant to remind them to include the sauces & order arrived with no sauces! Called restaurant back to be told ‘I heard my manager telling them to put them in the bag’ and advised me to complain on the app. App advised my to contact Uber eats as the order was fulfilled by them. Done this, they passed the buck back to the restaurant so I called them back. I was greeted with the same woman I’d spoke to previously who said she spoke to her staff & they said they definitely put them in the bag which at this point, I’m like why would I be wasting my time if they were in the bag? You’re staff are clearly lying to you. She then said I don’t know what else you want me to do do, I’ve apologised. If you want me to put your name in the book for 4 free sauces next time, I can do that. I then asked her to stop patronising me and explained, it might seem ridiculous but my 6 year old flat out refuses to eat his nuggets (which I paid £6.99 for on the app!) without his sauce… hence the reason I called to make sure they would put them in in the first place! I was responded to with total attitude so I asked if she was the most senior manager on shift & she said yes. When asked for her name, she flat out refused to give it to me. I would have went to higher management with this had I had her name. Then she hung up the phone on me & blocked my number!!! This now isn’t about the sauce, the chicken nuggets or the money spent on them… it’s about principle! How are staff getting away with treating customers like this? It’s beyond me… all faith lost in customer service! I’m now having to arrange something else as I cannot attend to collect the sauces from the restaurant due to being in bed unwell with pneumonia!

Regularly mess up orders then refuse to take any responsibility for their actions. Staff are remiss to do their jobs in the first place, nevermind help you out when something goes wrong. They have also been extremely rude in the past, throwing money onto the ground at the drive-thru and berating me for opening my car door to pick it up. Honestly, you'd be better off just burning your money.

Went in for the breakfast menu, food was OK. But the young man who served me,was wearing a filthy hivis jacket. Not a good look.

This is the worst MacDonald I have had in 40 years. I had banana milkshake which tasted metallic, a filet of fish which had been fried at least twice , Rock hard. Our meals were Luke warm . Husbands burger was no better. Child’s meal was ok but not hot enough

Usually okay but last few times been stone cold and missing items asked for spicy chicken and got mchicken asked for 9 nuggets and got 4 chips were rock hard and freezing cold sake with cheese burger

asked for CHOCOLATE milkshake and was given vanilla, it was vile food was also slow coming to table

Slow, slow and definitely not fast food. More of a I’ll never go back Problem, I think, is deliverpoo etc. Get yourself an extra hatch for delivery drivers

So I ordered the food via Uber eats, driver went and delivered as planned but the food delivered was ice cold, not even the slightest bit of heat in it, so I'm guessing they're leaving food racked up for too long and still sending it out for orders. All of it went straight in the bin. Won't be coming back as this is the last straw in a string of cold food deliveries 🤬

Breakfast meal prices increased by 20% THEN £3.99 delivery. Wow...but no transport so placed order - 5 minute drive from house. Tickets on food...packaged at 10.23 ....delivered at 11.05. I could easily have walked home quicker....delivery was by car! Drinks and food freezing and no-one answering phone. Fair to say I would need to be seriously desperate to place delivery order again.

Ordered online not too long ago and decided to order a triple cheeseburger. once my order had arrived i had only received a small cheeseburger. It's a joke that they can do that and just pocket the money

Waited over 3 hours for my small milkshakes 5 people asked me the same question about my order and I got 5 of the same awnsers “I’ll just get that for you”. Yeah well it took you well it took you 5 hours smh!!

Worst one in the uk! Rude mangers very poor service 35 mins for a fish finger happy meal more then once. Orders always wrong drive thru ignored for always closing the restaurant when there is only a few people in it because they say they are to busy. Could say alot more all which is bad avoid this place and go to a different one or use Uber eat because that is the only customers they care about.

congratulations to the staff, every time they do not put the full order! Do not buy there, their manager says that they work so hard that they do not have to put everything in. If I in my company took half of the order home...

Close the place down, can’t even take an order. Customer service at the drive thru non existent . The owner shouted either sell and put a car park on for b&ms or train the staff in basic customer service

Gave this McDonald's another chance. Last visit we ordered 4 meals and got no fires! Kids burger wrong too. This has happened a few times. I was happy after checking that my food order was right. However look at the state of my festive toffee...

Tailed back parking onto main road and cold rubbish food. Order was wrong when I asked for no sauces. Soon see that this is a poor excuse for a fast food outlet. Only reason it is there is block traffic from entering the Industrial Estate....

I've yet to see this mcdonalds get a order correct, you can be waiting 5-10 minutes on someone replying back to you at the drive through as well

Very good experience and service on first visit after lockdown. Special mention to Claire who was extremely lovely and helpful to us. Nothing was too much trouble, will visit again

I love this it’s great food I have 20 Mc Nuggets And there delicious I like the fries the most I have never tried there salad before but if someone’s on a diet they could have water and salad

McDonalds is McDonalds; it's hard to say much more. It's very handy if you're staying at the Travel Lodge and much better than their breakfast box! We ordered breakfast via the machine and opted for table service. The girl forgot my cutlery and syrup but...

Visited with my 2 young kids, milkshakes were wrong flavour from what we ordered , burgers ordered were plain cheeseburgers No Salad but all burgers had tomatoes etc when I took them back it took more than 10mins to replace . Tables weren’t cleaned & were left for ages before they were cleaned, the buckets to dispose our rubbish were overflowing so nowhere to put our rubbish.

Drove from st andrews for a mcflurry only to find that the machine not working....Very annoying. It was a hot day.

Customer service training required. Disgusted by the way I was spoken to this morning. The way another member of staff was blamed by the girl on the food collection drive through window was also disgusting.

Never really had a bad McDonald’s really and this place is run just as smoothly as every other joint. The parking is a bit rubbish but doesn’t put anyone off

Staff are polite and helpfull but will often get the order wrong. If you use the drive through I would advise you check your order before you drive of.

Although we only go and get milkshakes which is our treat we have NEVER had one yet up to the correct measure. I don't know if they pour them and leave them til the next customer. I have complained 5 times and got nothing but cheek back. I have written to their head office still waiting on reply. The glenrothes McDonalds is the worst we have ever been to. Sorry guys but you need training on how to manage the public.

Went in on the early morning of 8/2/19, a skinny woman served us with glasses on. Ordered via the machine things and asked if she could be generous with the sauce on the mcflurry to which she replied extra 20p. Now I’d be happy to pay the extra 20p if she wasn’t so sour faced and patronising. Iv had a twix McFlurry a few times over the last week and never has anyone asked for extra money or been so patronising about it. I refused and got served barely any sauce .

Very polite, bubbly and helpful dining staff, Claire does nothing but help everyone in the restaurant.

this Mcdonalds has been refurbished and has large self-service boards (which mean using a CC the normal till is cash only.) Despite the speed and convenience of the boards, at peak times there can be quite a long wait for food, not to mention difficulty finding a seat to sit in.

it is what it is kids will love it adults its luke warm salty burgers served by spotty teanagers in an uninspired environment

Marvellous young man who served us was cheerful just what you expect in MacDonalds manager was very pleasant too complements to the highest standard

Management and staff are a joke in this place, Umpteen times I've been to this fast food place, because its unfortunately the only one in Glenrothes, however, time and time again they get order wrong with drive thro, even after you're left to sit in the car park while they make the food. Its not rocket science!!!

What can I say..... it’s a McDonalds drive through like every other one. Recently updated and always busy. Clean and friendly place with friendly staff. Perfect for a quick meal with the kids.

there is a new way to order your food on a machine ,thats okay if you are english and dont have any disabilities ,or reading issues

Now this place ain't got the brains of Britain working there granted but every single order iv had there from the drive thru has been wrong, and tonight was no exception.. staff training is needed, ordered a large sprite and irn bru to get 2 medium diet cokes, no bag given after asking 3 times if she had definitely put a bag down as we've had this before.. what a shock, she hasn't.

A typical fast food outlet, made quicker with the recent installation of order screens, which the kids love using. Service is fast and efficient.

They only had 1 job to do ! Put 7 items in a bag, when I got back to hotel, only 3 ! With any complaint it's all about what you do next, No satisfactory explanation or outcome to complaint, another McDonalds customer lost

Was out with my daughter doing some last minute shopping today and popped in here for something to eat.This McDonald's is situated midway between Morrisons and Asda's in Glenrothes. It has its own car park, a drive through, a small outdoor seating area near the entrance and a fair sized eating area inside.I must say that overall I was quite impressed. It was very busy when we were in but the wait in the queue was very short as they had a lot of staff on duty. Service was quick, polite and efficient. Once we had finished I went to put the tray back and the fast food wrappers and cups in the bin but was approached by a member of staff who took it from me to do it.I think it would be fair to say that of all the McDonald's restaurants I've been to over the years this is probably the best and most attentive service I've had yet.Will visit again and would recommend.

When I first entered the building i thought "This doesn't look like a restaurant!" It was full of heavy machinery and men welding big pieces of metal, I was about to turn round and leave but boy am I glad I didn't! I had a wonderful sandwich accompanied by a a kit kat and a tin of Irn Bru, not my normal choice but as these prices I couldn't say no, the plastic tub it was served in said "Totties lunch" it made me laugh but plastic tubs aren't really my favoured serving option. The staff were friendly and even carried me out to my arranged transportation which took me straight to my hotel, I believe it was called "Kirkcaldy sheriff court" The rooms were small damp and cold and had no bed but I liked the staff they brought me the and a tuna sandwich. I was then treated to a show in a fancy room by a man in a robe and wig asking me how I plead, I was advised to say guilty by another fellow holiday maker, I now have an all expenses paid trip to perth prison spa and lesiure centre. 6 months of free food and gym membership. RESULT! To summarise I would definitely eat hear again, that is if I had not been ordered to stay atlas 500 feet from the premises.
