Best Chinese in Harwich! The crispy pancake rolls, crispy shredded chilli beef, spare ribs in capital sauce, and the soups are delicious! Have ordered many times for collection and never had an issue with any of the food/order. The staff are friendly, you can park almost outside and the complimentary items if you spend over a set amount is always welcomed! Can't wait for my next order

I went here today and they had no fish,no curry's,no pies and no lasagne. Absolutely appalling. I don't know how this place stays open.Its 19th December and this place should be packed and it empty. They have a Travel lodge opening over the road and that's going to be the end of this place and rightly so

Not our regular Chinese, but the times we have ordered, it's been really good.

After choosing Chinese for our movie night. We went to mayflower. Partner ordered off the set menu (A) I ordered crispy chilli beef and beef chow mein. Beef chow mein was very under cooked had to phone to ask for new one to be delivered disrupting our dinner together. Rice from set menu was hard and definitely not cooked enough. Partner then after a couple hours started suffering from very bad food poisoning. I'm guessing due to the chow mein. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Experts on Chinese, best chow mein, and pancake roll, tried all in area, lovely gentleman who takes orders, you can’t beat them, extra beanshoots and onions in chicken chow mein , no problem, unlike Beijing , soggy pancake roll and dry chow mein, Mayflower now our only Chinese, thank you Just had again 11/08/24, same exceptional quality, but, salt and pepper chicken wings even better 👍

I was pleasantly surprised, as I tried the mayflower a couple of years ago and was disappointed. But thought I would give a try as on way home from work . Special chow mien was delicious tasted very fresh not oily . Chips were nice and crispy not oily . Barbecue dry ribs were delicious. And the man was very friendly & helpful . Defo will be going back. Thank you

Worst Chinese ever. Undercooked chicken. More salt on the chips than chips itself. Wouldn’t even issue a refund. Only £5 credit for next time even tho spent over £40. Avoid. If I could I would give them a zero star.

Absolute disgrace, customer service non existent, of what food their is tastes good but how does a curry come without rice ? When one orders everything that is included with a curry ? I stipulated recommend dishes for a curry. They said house special with rice so I get a house special no rice ? Absolute joke, bonkers....

Stayed at local caravan site. They delivered to us on time, man on phone was helpful and pointed out the best deal. Chicken curry and salt n pepper chips were delicious. Definitely recommend

A great meal, good value and lots of fresh veg too.

I pre ordered a delivery of which the time requested was ignored so I had to send it back and request for a new delivery to come at the correct time. Ordered crispy duck and pancakes… it was vile, honestly it has put me off of that dish for life. There was hardly any meat, just fat and soggy skin. I was gagging. Ordered a 1/4 duck and you could barely make 3 pancakes once we had gagged our way sorting the fat/ slimy skin from the tiny amount of duck meat. I will never order from here again.

Decent Chinese takeaway, always gives 4 fortune cookies which is fun.
