Very swift service. Food pipping hot. Used drive-thru. Liked to see that packaging is linked to vehicles on drive-thru... good way to limit littering

I was waiting 30 minutes for my meal and it tasted like cardboard

Disgraceful making people park up and wait half an hour for their food. Whatever happened to McDonald’s being fast food?

Staff was racist and whole meal was missed and didn’t give answer properly. Even Manager was careless he didn’t know how to operate the Kiosk.

Ordered two meals through the drive through. Sadly did not check the order. Big mistake as the stupid idiots didn’t put the chips in the meal. How hard can it be? A meal consists of 3 things from McDonald’s. Burger chips and a drink. They forgot one of the three things.

This particular branch is what I'd call a 'only going here as it's closest ', not I'm willingly going there. The service, food, and staff are awful at best. You can be certain of a wait, even at the empty drive-through. If i didn't know any better, I'd swear the staff here are on community service instead of through choice. The hot food is cold. If there's a tiny chance, there would be a sun out then you can be certain that the ice cream and milkshakes are not on due to a broken machine aka can't be bothered to clean it. .avoid, if possible, to avoid almost certain disappointment.

Had the worse chicken sandwich there. No taste to it and later I had the most awful stomach ache ever. Sorry to say but had diarrhoea too.

Nice & clean, very busy, didn't have milkshakes 😩 as they are the best. Everything else was good food wise & didn't wait long either.

Service gets poor , always things from you order get forgot. Check before you go. Last time while waiting in the car they gave my order to someone else.

Chaos behind the counter, food piling up without being served promptly. The apology was appreciated, but it's a major management failure to have piles of cooked but unserved food.

Situated on a busy roundabout, the business is ideally located for passing trade. Although initially busy there was a lull after lunch. Tables and floor needed to be cleaned and cleared more frequently. OK, I believe there may have been a kids party, but they are no longer on the premises. Burger was over cooked.

Where to start went to store ordered 3 meals got back home and had wron order took it back supposedly got right order no fries with one of the meals

Consistently missing side orders or dips such as cheese melts on drive thru orders, which often isn’t realised until arrival home. You shouldn’t have to second guess or double check whether you’re going to receive what’s ordered and paid for. Overall food quality is good for what makes it into the bag.

Updated 7/11/2024. Not very good today. Pulled into the carpark at about 6:30am. A few spaces were blocked off and I patked in an open space along the row. There was only me and one other van in the carpark. He had parked in the same row, in a non barrier spot as well. But soon as I parked, I hot a McDonald's worker come over and say I can't park there! So had to move. Takes the piss. Why not put barriers on all the spots you don't want people to park? Why was the other van driver allowed to do the same thing, but I wasn't?. Came back out the restaurant and they had barriered that spot. Those front row spaces are the best spots for us in vans as you can turn around and drive in forwards, so of course people will want to use them. Poor carpark management. Photo shows the barriers. I parked where those small trolley wheels were, right in the middle , before they were there. As you can see, hardly looks blocked off , does it? Yet again the reciept printers don't work. Classic way to try to prevent feedback reaching you to hide complaints. This is why I have had to put this here. Updated 29/9/24. Not very good today. I was order 7 (muffin and coffee)and nobody in front. Waited for food. Order 8 orders at till. Order 8's food given out (2 people's meals) . That was quite annoying, but hey ho. Server (Katie I think it was) asks them "is this yours", they say yes, and take it. Then they say why do they have too many coffees? I'm then asked what I ordered. Yep, that was mine. Now it had to be remade (I guess due to policy on contamination). Ended up being over 10 minutes. Not really good enough. Think Katie was having a bad day as I heard her moaning about "how hard is it to get coffee made". Obviously as hard as giving out the right order it would appear. Why not chuck in a compensation hashbrown or something at the time 🤔. Got a bad review now instead. Usually good when I visit 6:30 aprox. Was very slow today. Only ordered a muffin but wait of 12 minutes. Usually its about 2 or 3 minutes . Might not sound much but when you have 8 minutes to spare in the journey , it becomes an issue.

Food and drink as expected. Service was quick and the establishment was clean.

Waiting over 30 minutes for burger and chips When they said owe hot apple pie will be 6 minutes so don't know why thay didn't bring Over owe other food straight away at the table Rather sit there for 30 minutes because of one apple pie to cook..

Not our best visit, chips overcooked, McRib wasn't filled with enough onions, gherkins but smothered in too much BBQ sauce!! Such a shame 🫠

Every time I go to order a milk shake told the machine is being cleaned or waiting for a part why can't it be cleaned in the morning not at busy lunchtime and the meal not very hot very disappointed

Ordered 2 fillet of fish and both people were ill during the night

Only ordered 2 drinks and 2 cheeseburgers and was waiting 10 minutes for it. Saw the burgers made about 5m in but the new system has one or two people running around like headless chickens and the rest standing appearing to be doing very little. They were luke warm but did taste nice at least.

I found the staff very friendly and welcoming and really enjoyed my meal there

No grimac shake in any mcdonalds in Essex what's the point of bringing out a item on your menu not to every have it in stock fools

Very clean .Bit of the beaten track so very quiet. Saying that staff were very quick to clean after customers vacated. Our one gripe would be nice if we ordered a meal deal if hot drink was an option as McDonalds coffee is the best.

What to say? It was McDonald’s lol. Food was tasty but bad for us haha. The staff were very slow but the restaurant was exceptionally clean.

It's a drive to/through McDonalds. Breakfast options seem to have gone up in cost.

On the not so good side . Access road to the MacDonald shop has some serious pot holes which shocked me and hopefully hasn't damaged our vehicle. The computer allowing you to order was sooooo slow and painful... On the positive side , the food was good, great value and the place was clean and tidy.

Really disappointing experience with this McDonalds. Service is poor, really slow - even for drive thru, constantly parking cars up for simple orders. And to top it all off, the order we've waited for for so long isn't even right or items are missed. Really needs work in comparison to many more McDonalds in the area - Brook Park is 10 times better.

The parking and entrance situation is becoming a public danger. The fact that McDonald's or the local authority has done nothing to mitigate the drive through issues is ridiculous.

I ordered the new hat trick, and to be served up what I can only call a night and day difference. The burger was thrown in the box with what I can only estimate as 5 percent of the onions etc as what was advertised on there picture, I asked the manager what his views were and he said the ingredients are the same as in the picture. I said your missing the point, I have been served less than 5 percent of the ingredients. To which he replied, the ingredients in the picture ture were dragged forward for the photo. I said well can you drag my burgers ingredients forward so it resembles the picture, rather than something a rat had regurgitated. He declined to try. Have a look at my offering and see if you could make it resemble the £7.00 burger advertised. Oh and mc d's, teach your managers some respect and not argue with the customer knowing g the customer was right. Thanks, Ps I'll never visit this cesspit again for sure. Thanks for nothing mc d's, Oh and the coke was flatter than a pancake. Letting cups of iced fizzy drinks sit for ages to go watery and flat is not a good move. And no it wasn't over busy, about 20 percent of the dirty tables were occupied. 🤟👍

Shocking place put a order in due to delivery part of order wasn't heard I asked for it to be rectified at the hatch this was refused I even ordered on the app they refused to walk 10 steps to the till to put a number in the gobby gifl who thinks she something special shouting her mouth off then runs to management when she gets a gobful back Great waste of fuel and way to pollute the air telling people to drive round again for something that could of been sorted at the hatch. So mcdonald's your clean air less pollution obviously isn't in the notes for this mcdonald's is it ! Ridiculous service 🙄

Went thru the drive thru this lunchtime, had to park up and wait for my order as they were abit busy, good things come to those who wait indeed, the hottest freshest fries and a lovely Juicy quarter pounder deluxe burger, a return of a favourite from decades ago thanks guys! 🤩 , been coming here on and off since 2015 and the staff have mostly been a high quality friendly bunch and in my experience their burgers are most likely to look like the one on the menu picture 😎👍, nice one guys/Team in kitchen for making the effort and putting love into making the food, it makes such a difference opening that box and seeing that properly built burger, sorry there's no pictures the request for a review came way after the food was gone 😁

Only used the drive-thru facilities here when I grabbed myself a breakfast. The service was quick and the staff were polite and friendly. Tidy layout and plenty of car parking spaces. Seemed to be popular with day-trippers and families.

I don't normally do a Maccy but this one at Wheely is always good. I've never had a cold biscuit burger here, service is good and polite, rare these days.

We don't often go to McDonald's but credit where credit due, a well run and clean store. The food was hot, freshly cooked and serviced by a quiet but pleasant girl who ensured we had everything we needed. What I noticed most were two cleaners working exceptionally hard clearing and cleaning tables, interacting with customers in a polite and positive way. The whole store was really clean, well done.

Visited today on a Sunday lunch time with children. We sat inside. We ordered through the app, it took ages for the food to arrive..when it did arrive the bacon cheeseburgers we ordered had no bacon in them, the fries were stone cold and my son had the wrong drink .we had to queue and wait again to get this rectified so the rest of the food was cold by then . There were no iPads for the kids , they had all been removed. We then ordered mcflurrys for the kids and again we had to wait for a long time. When we mentioned to the manager he couldn't seem to care less.

Nice enough, Clean McDonald's. Only had a vanilla milkshake and double espresso mix....they even put the medium shake in a large cup for me

The restaurant was very clean and members of staff were very friendly and offered children balloons. The toilets were clean and disabled friendly. Baby changing facilities here also, they also give you hot water to warm your baby's bottle. We also went through the drive thru, again the staff were friendly and our food was hot, freshly cooked and tasted good. I have to say it's one of the best McDonald's we have been to

Always wrong food ,slow and cold

I'd give 0 stars if I could, just because I ordered 20 chicken mcnuggets and I got 18? So I'm around 40p short and this isn't good enough considering inflation...

I use the drive thru 90% and dine in 10% drive thru waits are never long, staff are friendly and polite. Only been asked to park up once. But I have had missing food that I’ve had to drive back for. But the problems been rectified easily. Eating in was also pleasant, staff are friendly, was served quick. Good access for prams and wheelchairs. This one has outdoor seating but no play park. Overall a great McDonalds.

Been to the drive thru twice and twice Iv arrived home with stuff missing and iv heard similar stories from friends, this has got to be the worst Mc D in Essex.

Very clean and quiet during my visit, four staff behind counter talkingtoeach other, i was the only one waiting for food, waited 5 minutes. Chicken looked like it had been sitting for a while. Milk shake was like milk when I got it. If I ate inside I would have returned it instead of throwing it away. Won't visit again. Parking is not good very small tight spaces

Ordered a plain cheese burger, come with all the sauce, had to go into the restaurant to get the sprite they didn’t give us, and didn’t even get my Big Mac meal, pis over £30 for this, even when I went inside the guy didn’t check my receipt so poor

The parking is way too small, waiting for a spot to park the car is very annoying and results in going to the next Maccy D 5 miles further. Needs to be improved!!

Fairly standard issue McDonalds. Service is good. Convenient location. Food tastes like McDonalds!
