good service , were very fast with delivery and delicious food !

Unfortunately we ordered a delivery tonight . Food went to wrong address which I get mistakes happen. Food went back to shop and they rang on mobile half hour after. They told us the food would be remade and resent. This didn’t happen and the original order turned up 20 mins later stone cold. A real shame because it’s always been good before. Lying to customers really isn’t the way 🥲

Not been here in ages and never failed to please . Simply the best Chinese take away in my area . Pictures really don’t do it any justice at all .

This place has been recommended to me many times and I finally got around to trying their food. And it’s amazing, possibly the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. Every dish was fresh, hot and tasted great. The crispy duck was just perfect, no bones or fat. And the special schezuan had just the right heat level. The rice was fresh and fluffy, unlike the hard stodge that some other places think they can get away with. I live in Chapeltown and had to drive past a couple of local Chinese takeaways to get here but boy was it worth it. And the team were all lovely, despite the rush of a busy Saturday evening. 12 out of 10 to everyone!!

I ordered a salt and pepper share box and noodles it cost me £21 it took 1 hour and 20 minutes to come they told me 20-40 minutes when I received my food everything was soggy and wet the tiniest portion of curry and the pepper box was so small more chips than anything like 2 chicken balls and barley any meat 3 spring rolls he said it’s a 2 person meal more like 2 children’s meals when I ordered my food it took so long because they didn’t understand me over the phone I have wasted money and food today if you want soggy chicken and soggy chips and soggy spring rolls and to wait 1 hour and 20 minutes this is the perfect place for you I will not be ordering again thanks 1 more thing way too much salt

Special crispy noodle to die for and the chicken noodle soup again is amazing but I could do with it being twice the size 5* owner is a great guy very friendly

First time using this place and it didn’t disappoint we drove from Rotherham recommended by a friend staff are friendly food cooked fresh as we waited lots of footfall which is a good sign Fillet beef Cantonese style s&p chicken chicken chow bbq ribs plain chow egg fried rice free mini sprig rolls/prawn crackers all cooked nicely and plenty of good flavour Definitely found our new gp too 👌 can’t wait to try other dishes And would recommend

Just wondering do you guys take drugs?? Because what you are charging for the salt your serving is absolutely disgusting how can you justify your prices ?? I no salt ads flavour but Jesus 🤮

First time going here last night, it was the top rated Chinese around. I can see why, the food is beautiful and I have finally found a decent Chinese restaurant.

Exceptional and sets the standard in Barnsley. Simply no where better and the consistency and customer service is exceptional! Truly 5*. Recommended.

Horrible, food was cold and they messed the order up. When we called to query it they just put the phone down and gave an awfully rude response to us asking for an explanation why some of our food was missing.

My daughter and I ordered food to be delivered was told 20 minutes, food arrived in 15 minutes by cheery driver food piping hot and very tasty, and very generous portions will definitely use again, keep up the good work mayfair.

Best Chinese in the area, food and delivery great. One area for improvement... Please start taking card payments. I sometimes have to order from an alternative Chinese just so I can avoid a cash machine trip

Beef in black bean sauce, the best we've ever had, absolutely delicious, generous portion and soooo tasty. Highly recommended, my pic has homemade chips tho as I'm a slimming world junkie. 10.5 syns, worth every mouthful 👍

First time I ordered from Mayfair. What can I say..... The food absolutely delicious. I had the bbq spare ribs and beef fried rice. Top notch for the food and delivery. Strongly recommended

Best Chinese we ever had in the whole UK. Better than even the very expensive Chinese restaurants and takeaways in London. Quality and quantity of food is incredible, price is beyond reasonable and staff are super friendly and sweet. 5 stars is not even enough. We're thinking of travelling to this town again sometime, just because of this place. Thank you for making our day!

The dishes we chose were lovely, hot with lots if taste. We only had one problem that was solved quickly. We ordered our meal for collection which was ready on time. Very friendly and polite staff.

First time we have ordered from here. Excellent all round. The food was lovely and tasty. Delivery was about 30 minutes as stated. We had three meals with egg fried rice and a portion of chips cost just over £31. The portion size is huge, we couldn't eat it all. The delivery driver was friendly. We would definately order from here again.

I ordered a Salt & Pepper King prawns, Salt & Pepper shredded chicken, Salt & Pepper ribs, Salt & Pepper chips, king prawn fried rice. Weirdly everything had a sweet taste to it, if I wanted sweet I'd have ordered a shake & cake.

Great Chinese takeaway. It's been around for years. I've tried others over the years but to be honest, in my opinion, no other Chinese takeaway comes even close. The spices in the chicken curry and chowmein are absolutely spot on. I'd recommend to anyone and I'm sure they wouldn't be disappointed

Nice food but if you want delivery you'll wait over and hour plus to get your food and be careful with some of the delivery drivers as some will try short changing you

Food was beyond outstanding and arrived 30 seconds late which I was not happy about! 😤 the young boy 5.6 waist line very thin picked up the call for me. Very nice person however called me a “chink” and a “fat neek” (don’t know what that means). He also offered me some extra spring rolls for a dead arm. Overall 69/420 ratings Big up NDL

Called several times and couldn't get through. Finally placed order in person. Had chicken chow mein without bamboo shoots or water chestnuts. Tasted nice but would have been better with carrots, mushrooms and peppers. The chicken and sweetcorn soup was good.

It's very hit and miss. Sometimes it's amazing, and we'll go all the time, then others it's terrible and we leave it alone for months. Didn't enjoy it the last 3 times so steering clear again.
