As always, fantastic food and service. Shisha is very premium too

I was here for a birthday celebration. Complimentary drink included. Fresh houmous provided. Food was served in shared platters and enough for 10 at table. The only downside was we couldn't sit together, but the group was large so understandable. I would revisit again.

We visited this restaurant for a friends 30th birthday but I feel this restaurant is nothing it says it is firstly it’s actually a different name it’s “Aura”, we walked in and the waiter told us they had a private function so we couldn’t be seated inside and had to leave by 11. We was seated outside it was literally freezing but they said they had heaters I’m sure they did but they didn’t work or do much. The lights went out and nothing was said. We was given lamps after about 15 minutes of sitting in darkness but we had a big table so this didn’t do much, food took a long time to come out and all came out at different stages. We had someone highly allergic to nuts. Food came out but wasn’t specified that it was no nuts so because it all came at different stages someone else ate that one When the last dish came out that was for the girl with no nuts it had pine nuts and they blamed her for not taking the one with no nuts. She ended up eating nothing. It got to 11.30 and there was no function so we sat inside (to get warm) had a drink but left as it was an awful night

Very poor service and also very expensive. The manager was not friendly and pretty rude and looked at me and treated me as if he was doing me a favour. Shisha was not that great. Don't go and find another place.

Terrible place. Been coming here over 10 years worst experience place has completely gone down hill picking and choosing who they let in without i.d. Security guards Omar was completely disrespectful.

I rarely right reviews but had to about this one.. we came all the way from east London and were in the area as we were going to a concert I had been recommended Aura by a friend who lived local so thought it would be ok. First of all the shutters were down at the front and the entrance is at the side, straight away it was not an inviting look. We were ID to enter a restaurant at 5pm ona Sunday evening The food was absolutely awful there was numerous ppl in the restaurant complaining. We ordered the ‘mini burgers’ however they came in normal sized buns but with a tiny bit of meat in and we’re not ‘sliders’ at all . The chicken one was basically a lump of processed meat. We also had the baked Brie the salad was so dry there was not a single bit of dressing on it .. the ppl next to me sent back there food it was so bad. The lamb and chicken shish looked awful the presentation is awful everything about the food was so bad Service is also just as bad, took ages To come to the table food also took ages I was given my food but no culterly was even on the table no napkins. we ordered a bottle of wine and wasn’t even asked to try it first just all poured in to both our glasses. when the guy came with the bill we said we wasn’t paying service charge and I said the service and food is awful and he just laughed I have been to many restaurants like this one and I’ve never experienced anything like this it was honestly disgusting .. maybe good for a night out with just drinks as I think it does turn into a kinda ‘club’ but for food it is an absolute no!!

Had the best night out for my birthday last Friday. Which yet again, the excellent service from the team is beyond my expectation. Special mention to Daksh who is very attentive even though it was very busy he always make sure he gave us what we need, also his team iham and raghav that make us laugh and have excellent suggestion from menu and drinks. I had the birthday package that made my day special, the staff parade with sparkles and special song, it could’ve been perfect only if they put a good effort with the “happy birthday” written on the dessert. When we move to nightclub, I cannot thank enough as well to the manager that night who named Omar for keeping us safe from the people who is bothering us that night, and so we crack on and had the best night out with my girls! Excellent service, good food and drinks. Worth the money. So my friends want to go back again. I highly recommended this place. A good crack! 🎉

Awful…… terrible a restaurant within the ghetto…. With a bad fake face facelift. It’s all about the pic…. Awful service we waited over 2hr for 1 of the 3 tables we booked, cold food, champagne cocktails had Prosecco not champagne, I had to send back 3 of 3 that I order in the end i had to watched the bar man make my drinks to make sure it’s was champagne. So now I’m just being robbed.. It’s just awful don’t do it….. If your reading this DON’T BOOK it BOOK Tarshish-lounge Drench lounge anywhere but this mess. It’s a 0/ 10 for me.

The worst place to come to! Don’t even deserve a star to be honest came for my best friends birthday and they gave a wrap which was really cold to eat not just that but even the chips were the same! I am disgusted by the service i have received absolutely appalling ! DONT GO!

Hiring Photographers that don't pay on time. had to take a guy to court after not being paid and all the owners said was that it wasn't their problem and did not help at all

Shisha isnt great seats are very high up and staff don't know the menu specially drinks menu.

I am suspectible of the food being served at shisha lounges in London as usually they are below average with the exception of the banc in Tottenham. After seeing some food pics on a friend's insta, I decided to visit Ayla Lounge. We went on a Sunday night and it was a bit quiet but that is to be expected. What I found surprising is the member of staff tried to palm us off with seats and a table sharing with some others. I advised the member of staff that I had reserved a table but it fell on deaf ears insisting the empty tables that I saw had been reserved. I repeated again that I had reserved a table and then finally I was allocated a table. What can I say service at shisha bars is notorious. Well I cant comment on the shisha because me and my 2 friends do not smoke shisha. I ordered the half chicken with rice and it was decent. My friend ordered the lamb burger and was happy and my other friend ordered 3 starters for £15.00 and she was happy with her food as well. The hummus with the lamb was good. Also my friend had ordered the virgin pina colada and she said it was delicious. After receiving confirmation twice that the mint tea was fresh mint leaves, needless to say I was disappointed that the mint tea was tea bags. Anyway food was ok nothing special but at least it was decent. Service was a bit hit and miss and initially when we sat down the table was dirty and after about 15 mins they cleared the table but did not wipe it down. I guess people come to Ayla Lounge more for the shisha which I am unable to comment on. I was advised by the staff that on friday nights its bollywood night and Saturdays they have belly dancers. At least the shisha lounge was adequately warm.

I love the shisha, love the ambience and service is also not bad..Need to improve the service more.

When you go to Ayla, make sure you ask for Amira. She’s such an amazing hostess! She made sure all our needs were catered to and she made our night! Abdullah was the same, such a friendly helpful host😊These two are huge assets to the lounge!

Rubbish Lounge. Poor service and Pricey. They serve Wine in a Plastic glass, Weird & Surprising for the price you pay to visit this place. Also they have minimum spend system which nobody told us when we arrived, we came to know only when we got a bill with extra money to pay. They want to take order as soon as we arrive but then we have to wait so long to get it. They just want to make money. Rubbish again. Not recommending.

We went here with a couple of friends. We were asked to take a seat and they’ll bring drinks over, Douglas, decided to bring us champagne not that we asked for this £660 later we were walking out !!!!! One glass each and a bit of Sheesha we were horrified.... what an absolute disgrace

amazing service from Maddy constant care for if everything was okay and making sure we had everything we needed. This is meanwhile the other servers came off very rude alongside the manager. I would only reccomend if particular servers are there.

Had the worst service I’ve ever received from Douglas the supposed manager. Visited on Christmas Eve and he absolutely ruined it for our group. Such a rude arrogant man. He’s in the wrong job. He needs to go on a customer service course ASAP or better off sack him as he doesn’t know how to look after customers. Avoid this venue, they don’t care and just want to steal your money, ignore you and then be rude.

Been to Ayla lounge a few times now with groups of friends. It’s a fun and vibrant atmosphere with a lot going on at once. The place is very big with both an indoor and outdoor area. Indoor is a club with a dance floor and sometimes has a ball pit. Saturday nights are the best as they do Arabic night. They bring in live singers, DJ, belly dancers etc. The food is great, drinks are flowing but the only downfall is that it takes a very long time to receive your drinks or shisha which isn’t great and you have to ask too many times before receiving it hence why I gave a 4*.

The shisha is the best , i like the atmosphere too . The only things that should be improved is the service which is slow and the bar team as the cocktails are not that great ; also the changes on the food menu is not that good.

When you have good company any place is can be good but yeah this is a nice cosy chilled environment, music was a bit loud at times but other than that thumbs up from me 😁

Food tasted good but standard of presentation was terrible. Ordered a mixed shawarma wrap with extra halloumi charged £10 and wrap wasn’t even put in a way that could be held to be eaten. All the filling fell out and was very messy. Couldn’t enjoy the flavour. Shisha was okay. My friend ordered a milkshake that was literally milk and Ferraro blended wasn’t served cold. Too pricey for average service. Nothing special. Wouldn’t visit again.

Worst place I have ever seen. I have heard many rumours of lack of health and safety. Would never recommend. I have seen rats running in here and they serve food! Disgusting.

Absolutley love this place - been a few times. Great atmosphere and music. Sheesha is good also and their mint tea is nice. Have not tried food as of yet. Seating is so cool and comfy. Waiters are a bit slow however

Best place to go when you want to spend quality time with quality people. Ayla Lounge is made up of very professional and friendly staff members. I couldn't recommend more. This is without a doubt the best shisha lounge in London.

Bar far the worst Shisha lounge I have been to. Run my rookies who have zero experienced service. We went on their ‘special’ Halloween night and the place was so quite empty it was off putting, it was around 10% capacity of the whole venue. The service was just unbelievably bad. Firstly we ordered a round of drinks and after 30 minutes of waiting we asked where is our drinks to which they said ‘oh sorry the barman is on a break’ and it took a further 15 minutes to bring our drinks so that’s 45 mins. The worst part is nobody’s came to inform us of this and after complaining the ‘big’ manager came and said sorry and he will make sure we are looked after. THEN we ordered food which after another 40 minutes we asked where is our food and they said what food? The order didn’t go to the kitchen as they were having problems with the iPad. So we cancelled it and asked for the manager, who was too busy we were told and we could clearly see him sitting there having a shisha pipe not bothered. After demanding the manager ‘Taz’ he came over and spoke in a rude agressive manor F’ing and blinding to try and intimidate us which did not work. He was unprofessional and very very rude to his staff in front of us and treated them like dogs. We came to eat and drink. We had to find good elsewhere at 1am which is not nice around that area. Basically run by rookies bad service bad shisha and the manager should be a bouncer as he has no hospitality manors. Waste of a night and a waste of money. Go somewhere else.

I recently visited with my partner but the security guard Were really rude & racist and pushed me. When I asked him to please respect me and stop pushing me they started kicking & punching me for no reason. We called he police but police didn’t do nothing AVOID

First experience here on a Friday night, arrived early for dinner. Very tasty food. Tried Shesha for the second time for £25 which I think is a bit expensive. Enjoyed the belly dancing entertainment. Left before midnight and wasn't that busy.

absolutely disgraceful service - I called in advance and was told the venue was open until 3am. once I arrived i was told it was "closed", whilst it was very clearly open, playing loud music and admitting people through the back entrance because they "knew the owner". we were ultimately falsely promised a service that was never provided, and very poorly mistreated by the security guards - disgusting, inhumane behaviour.

I’ve come a couple times with my boyfriend, and today I came with my best-friend we’ve always had the same waiters called Jonathan and Oday, we always have the best time cosy, good music. Excellent for all occasions

, we were surrounded by random staff ,bouncers keep saying minimum £35 spend,changed our seat 3x times, it is a nightmare, i repeat do not enter ⛔ after all years of living in the uk they have not learnt about customer service and right behaviour , we got out of there immediately .

A bit pricey but good place to have a shisha. Parking is problem specially on event days. Update: Saturday night was a disaster, waited 30 mins to order and half of the order did not come and had to wait another 30 mins to complete the order...

The music n the environment on point

A nice and pleasant place with a mixed atmosphere of shisha and restaurant food. Food was average at its best and very limited for vegetarian!

I’m not really a person to write reviews but had to write about this amazing place.. this is the 3rd time I have been here for a relaxing time for Shisha and drinks and have to say I forgot about everything outside.. very relaxing place with good atmosphere.. I’d like to say a special thanks to the lady looking after us, her name is Khedidja, very friendly, lovely smile with great service.. definitely recommend Ayla lounge for a relaxing time..

I love this lounge!! Very nice cosy place. I went on a girly night out a friend's birthday. We had fun, good music , friendly staff. Belly dancer was great. Food was reasonably priced and can be shared as it was a good portion. Shisha experience was great. DJ played all type of music in the club to entertain all. Decor was up to standard 👌🏿 very spacious place. £25 /£30 minimum to spend The only downfall is parking but we got there late and didn't have to pay...unless there's a secret parking we didn't know about. Will I visit again! YES!!!!

Had a lovely experience. Shisha at first wasn't producing enough smoke but they promptly sorted it out, which I appreciated! The prices do start from £20 for standard, premium is £25+! Food is halal and they do serve alcohol. Chicken thighs is one of the best I had! Service charge was added but the service which we received was great so I was happy to pay. Belly dancer was amazing, great dance. Parking on event days is literally possible to park (unless you pay). Else parking on the main road or side streets. Overall I had a great experience to celebrate my birthday and other people were celebrating which made a great atmosphere! Thank you guys!

I recently had my Hen Do at Ayla lounge and it was perfect for what we wanted.

Moving to the area, it became apparent the lack of good quality shish avenues, that was until I discovered Ayla Lounge. I can go to smoke a shisha in a peaceful setting whilst being able to take a laptop and get on with work!

Venue: Good outdoor space to relax, enjoy good food and good music.

Awful shisha, took a while to drag and they didn't discount! Maybe shouldn't have got the fruit head. A bit loud for a shisha place and you have to walk through a nightclub and three big bouncers! Not normal entry for a shisha place.

Food, service, shisha and atmosphere all deteriorated in the last few weeks. The new managers are rude and dismissive, especially the skinny Asian female manager who is so sarcastic. Crowd is aggressive and the whole atmosphere feels like something bad is about to happen. Under staffed, food is bland and poor quality, no one available to take orders or change coal. Messy tables, broken TVs. Completely different to how it used to be. Don’t waste your time, it’s a disorganised mess and they no longer care about customers. There’s many other places locally that are far better.

The place looked nice and the service was good, but the shishes were average. The food was below average and cold. Too expensive for what it was, not a good value for money for sure.

I frequent here often and always receive brilliant service from staff, extremely attentive. Food is consistently good and always a good smoke! Recommend the kofta with rice and pineapple head shisha with grape and mint!

We book for new years eve and we confirm with them so when we go the can not find our table and the ware blaming each other so the rowing our night and we end up out

This place was called Maya lounge before , i think it should've stayed as Maya ! Was top notch when Maya , now its bit dead ... atmosphere is weird , did not feel that comfortable

Great place. Beautiful decor one of the best I've seen personally. Nice smooth shisha, flavour could be abit stronger. Great customer service, lovely manager. Heating was abit too hot, only reason I didn't give 5 stars. Will definitely come back.
