Went to order at 10-15 to be told there was nothing left the staff were shocking couldn’t care less will not be going there again

I agree with a lot of the reviewers in that they do always forget something. We asked for very spicy curry but it certainly wasn't. Also disapointed that the free delivery has been cancelled.

Ordered my food over the phone and I had not got a recent menu… flabbergasted at the cost when my order was read back to me …now the food was ok however £35 for takeaway food for two was a shock … I was told all prices have gone up…I payed it in shock but I will not me using this takeaway again… in my opinion pricing themselves out of customers

Really enjoyed our takeaway. Very tasty and plenty. A bit more expensive than we normally pay but worth the treat!

One of the best curries I’ve had. They make each curry individually, it’s the third curry I’ve had from here and it’s been banging each time.

We cannot fault the food here, it's the best curry around; but it does come at a cost. Almost restaurant prices for a takeaway meal.

Ordered from May Bank Indian last night for the first time since moving to the area. It was the best curry we've ever had! So glad we tried it isnowg! The balti was a little bit spicier than we have had elsewhere but tasted lovely.

Overcharged, different prices than menu prices, refused to break down, we were 3.3 miles away apparently free delivery for upto 3 miles, wanted charge us £3 for 300 yards extra. He was rude and didn't care about upset. First time ordering, won't order again. AVOID!

Still very good. All I can do is recommend dishes we consistently like. Seekh kebab starter is soft and tasty. Tandori lamb chops are good. Tandori king prawns main course is best in area (we prefer to ask without onions). Fish bhuna Jalfrezi is very good. We used to order murgh Gulshan a lot too. Great for making nan sandwiches or chapati wraps with. It has marinated chicken, onions and peppers chargrilled. We have also ordered the keema balti which is a nice dish most people will like with minced lamb in a medium-mild Balti curry sauce. Bhajis are good too. Poppadoms are always fresh light and crunchy. Staff are polite and friendly and helpful. This is a good take away.

It’s become a weekly treat here. Food is top notch and we have no complaints. It’s extremely busy sometimes and the phone is engaged permanently so you just have to be patient and keep trying. The dishes we like are the seekh kebab starter, onion bhaji starter, Tandori king prawn main is one of the best I’ve had (prawns have been cooked perfectly lately - soft and tender and not at all chewy - beautiful), Murgh Gulshan off the Tandori section is our favourite - superb with one of their chapatis and salad and mint sauce - a DIY Indian style wrap. The chicken is very moist and the chargrilled peppers are lovely too. We’ve tried various mains and like the fish bhuna Jalfrezi, keema balti, chicken tikka Sagwala.. it’s our favourite in the area despite there being many closer to us. It’s just fresher and we NEVER have an issue with our stomachs. It’s like eating home cooked food so I presume it’s fresher and cleaner than other takeaways. Please keep up the good work and keep the chefs!! Good times.

I’ve been singing it’s praises lately and recommending it to everyone. The food is lovely especially the Tandori mains (chicken is moist and flavoursome). The salads are normally spot on. Today the lettuce in all the salad dishes had gone brown. Really upset about it and annoyed. One of them was really brown. And the lamb tikka was a bit chewy. A real shame and the first black mark as this is a lot better than other takeaways and the chaps are a nice bunch. Always courteous and friendly and helpful. Brown lettuce is not on though. The curries are really nice though. I haven’t been back to Karahi master in Shelton for a while for my favourite dish which is unusual. I hope these guys don t take their eye off the ball.

I've been having food from here since they opened and tonight took my sister to view the open kitchen and watch the amazing staff multi-task with up to 5 pans at a time and the results are amazing! The food is always of an excellent quality and cooked to my individual request. My sister is really looking forward to the next time, but not just yet as we are so full we can't move! A very big well done to the staff and see you soon.

I have had food from this place twice in two weeks and have been pleased with the quality on both occasions. I asked for vegetable dishes to be made dairy free – without gee and they were happy to do this. I had stopped having Indian takeaways from anywhere because I can’t abide oily food. This food was good and had no floating oil slick when you remove he lid. Earlier I had the veg sagwala which had been made with a good variety of veg including chunky broccoli, potatoes and courgettes. Will use this place again.

Used this take away for years , can only assume it’s changed hands . Poor quality meals cold on delivery and prices have rocketed. Won’t be ordering again.

I can only only assume that this establishment has changed hands recently. As I previous regular user this place will no longer receive coin from my pocket I ordered a vegetable curry. Simple you would think. It was simple as it only had potatoes in it! My wife's prawn dish offered us a new game. 'Hunt the prawn' but it did have potato pieces in it. It must have new owner who have never run a food establishment previously

Worst curry house in the area it a shame as it on my doorstep and also walked past with my dog one day after we been there one of the staffs said the dog would be in the curry

We have been here a couple of times for collection and the food has been amazing! We have been to lots of curries in the area and out of area and this is one of he best. Delicious food with excellent service and can ask for special requests which are added with no problem. Yummy :-)

I've been frustrated for years with the lack of a really good Indian restaurant and/or takeaway in Stoke. Finally found a takeawa,y they just need to open a restaurant! We have eaten from here 4/5 times and we haven't had any poor food. I always have a chefs special and the family have a other dishes on the menu. The kids love their chicken and prawn korma! Rice and naans are gorgeous and I always have the prawn puri to start.... soooo delicious! We have to pay for delivery to Trentham as we are so far away but I don't care, well worth it!

Excellent curry resteraunt standard. First time I have used these. Delivered on time good hot. Great value man breads as good as I have tasted. Would recommend these if you have not tried them.

We've been ordering from here for years and the food is always perfect - delivered quickly by a friendly driver, always piping hot and tastes fresh. The veg sambar is to die for! Possibly the best measure of a place is how they deal with mistakes. For the first time, I got the wrong curry today: a quick phone call and we barely had time to pour a drink before a replacement turned up on the doorstep. First class service!

Have ordered from here a few times, the staff have always been helpful and the place is very clean and has an open kitchen where you can see your order being prepared fresh infront of you. Would reccommend

Late night takeaway, just round corner from pub, rather than cooking - wished I had cooked, starter & poppadoms were nice, how can you go wrong with poppadoms. Main one between two, two mouthful gave to husband, no taste to it, to be honest it ended up in bin, they said they were rushed, rushed or not its got to be eatable!

I've been going to May Bank Indian for over 12 months, the food is absolutely first class along side with fantastic service. We have never had a bad experience with them and we have a curry at least once a week. Customer for life

I would highly recommend this take out . Very good and obliging service, and the food was plentiful and really delicious It is a pity it is just a take out and not a restaurant

Always a treat to come back home to UK and order a take away from these guys. No gee used in most of the dishes and the tastes are very good. The guys in the shop are always very helpful in choices and the meals are always ready when I go to pick them up. I have been using this take away since it was opened and I have never had any problems with the food or the service.

Food was absolutely gorgeous as always. Ordered a Chicken sagwala with extra garlic and a chicken jalfrezi. The staff are always polite and friendly and don't mind making minor tweaks to the currys to make less/more spicy or in my case add extra garlic. Thanks guys

As we had heard some good reports since we last used this place we tried again. It is more expensive than our usual take away and to be honest the food was no better for the money paid. The meal wasn't bad , although the chapatti wasn't particularly nice ;

We ate here as part of a works night out. The food was typical Indian with no surprises and no specials. Indian beer is served and we all had a great time, the service was really good and friendly. I'm glad we went as a group and not as a couple.

visited twice, had two poor meals won’t be going again!! However the service was good and the staff were friendly - shame.

We called last night after visiting a couple of our local pubs, and I'm glad to say it didn't disappoint. Fab take away, good value for money and I'm pleased it is only around the corner from us. Keep up the good work 👍👍👍

Ordered home delivery and it came in 20 minutes.Delicious Karahi.This is the third meal we have had from here and not been disappointed.Free poppadoms and and chutney as well

The staff here are really friendly and very helpful if you have any allergies. This is the only place I go now for an Indian take away. Not swimming in grease like many places. Always nice portion size and good flavours.

Cuando llamamos nos dijeron que iban a golpear el precio de las patatas! Es broma!!! Y luego, cuando estaban ordenando algo que poner el teléfono! Servicio chocante que es comprensible. una noche de sábado, pero no dicen una cosa y luego espera para pagar y comer comida fría! Nos dejar 3 de 4 también!!! Chocante y decepcionado!

Esta es la tercera vez que pedimos desde aquí y sin duda será la última. Cada vez que pedimos no ha habido falta algo y cuando anillo para quejarse todo lo que se consigue es escribiré sus detalles abajo y solucionar la próxima orden aunque...

La comida siempre es encantadora, y los precios son más que razonables. Hubiera dado 5/5, pero cada vez que nos pide parecen olvidar algo!

We often have a take away from May Bank Indian.Always had great food, staff have always been friendly. very reasonably priced.Yes there is a waiting time I have always found that the expected time has been right whenever we've ordered ours.Would recommend, and will be getting another takeaway soon.

Called here on recommendation from my sister. Everything we had was cooked in front of us and I have to say they have got the REAL Indian layered flavours in the curries. Fantastic place we will be having more takeaways now that we have found this place!!

Never had a bad meal from here. The chicken tikka masala is lovely and its great value for money compared to other places. We used Sangham's when this was closes and was disappointed and it cost a lot more. Will be going here for tea tonight.

Lovely food, good size portions, fair prices & free popadoms thrown in!! Wouldn't go anywhere else now. Well done guys.

Have ordered a few times and have never been disappointed. The food is hot and delicious and better than most restaurants I have visited. Had no waiting time on collection today and never waited more than 10 mins. Cannot wait to order again really recommend both the madras and jalfrezi spice but with taste not just heat

We were really pleased that May Bank was finally getting an Indian Take Away! But.... We too ordered from home to collect given an hour lead time and when arrived were told it wasn't cooked, after sitting there for another 30 mins and having asked a couple of times for our order it was eventually found sitting in a bag waiting to be collected all along. Obviously cold! Will never go back.

We have had a couple of good experiences when this first opened - HOWEVER since it's been more popular, service has gone downhill..... last week we rang from home, tea time ( 5 - 6 o'clock) to be told an Hour half wait for delivery( we didn't bother) tonight based on last weeks experience we rang in advance from town to order an hour an half in advance ( again 5 - 6 0'clock) we got there , paid for the order: we had friends visiting, not local, so this was supposed to be a treat, - on arrival for collection they hadn't even started to cook the order .... they admitted they hadn't started to cook this order and tried to rectify things by trying to start to cook things as I asked for my collection - what excuse can you give when some thing has been telephoned in, an hour and a half ago ???? Wont trust them again..... there are too many other establishments in the local area to put up with this poor service,
