Service great food great, prices justifiable can't complain

Hidden gem, take out only so atmosphere in the shop was really positive and friendly. Good value for money, all food made from scratch on the premises and it shows, food was so fresh and tasty, this is the only place I will be going when I'm next in the area 👍🍕

As a first time customers we were amazed at the quality and service we received, food arrived 15 minutes earlier than stated and was really hot. Will be getting more food really soon.

Been coming here for about 4-5 years we travel from Wakefield city centre For their food. Always quality and fresh and warm.

Always great food and quick to prepare. I always go to Maxis. Wish they could do cards over phone so I could get delivery without cash but apart from that minor issue, best takeaway around!

Best takeaway around. Food delivered quicker than they say every time and always hot. Chicken boti is beast curry you will ever have. Promise.

Food is good but need to remove the £5 minimum spend on card as all I wanted was to add a drink on my order but couldn’t do so.

Never disappoints this place, I get the stuffed crust margarita and cheesy curly fries, always delicious. There are cheaper takeaways sure but you get want you pay for here. Highly recommend

Not bad but had better, its a shame their lamb and chicken kebabs are always tilkka flavoured there's no option for it without tikka which is disappointing, would go regularly if they did kebabs that didn't all just taste of tikka, the bread fresh made/ excellent is just a shame they don't do lamb or chicken without tikka. On another note their delivery cars need to slow down.abit and observe speed limits, not a good imagine them racing around the local area.

Have heard otherwise from others but our experience was tasty pizzas, prompt service and reasonable prices. Great local business.

What's gone wrong Maxis ? Last two Curries terrible, large carton pushed in at the sides, (cheating) .Bland, sloppy and watery with very little meat. Please get back to form. Will be going elsewhere for the foreseeable.

Good service, not too long of a wait considering the amount of orders on the screen so that was good. Partners pizza she said was very nice 👌🏼 unfortunately I tried the kebab and it was poor very cold pale meat and no chilli sauce when I asked for extra 🤔 overall good service just one item let it down.

Tried the local takeaway for a chicken kormer , chicken bites and garlic nanbread and unfortunately I am highly unsatisfied as the korma tasted nothing like a korma should no flavour the nan bread was incredibly thin and had no garlic in it but on the plus the chicken bites was good

Great takeaway been ordering from here since we moved to the area 4 years ago. We have never had a bad meal from them the staff are so friendly and polite. They is something for everyone from pizzas to curry’s they are all great and they will try and do your meal the way you like it too. The only thing is you will find it hard to choose what you want as it is all good. Keep up the good work Maxis.

Bad service not clean at all food was disgusting

Totally ripped off by these...bank hol comes and they can not handle the paise...i placed an order which was for delivery an hour passed and still no food came i then phoned in to say tht I wud go and collect...after waiting in the shop I finally got my food then came home to find that the 2 large chicken tikka on a nann tht I ordered was in fact a small tht was on a pitta not a nann...i phoned up again to let them know that the order was wrong and got nowhere...so in i fact paid 14 pound for a small wen I was supposed to get a large...from the fone call the guy who was the manager did nothing about it even though I've been ripped off....i used to order alot from there and after todays experience I will never order from here again....if ur reading this review consider this before ordering from here...rip offs im fuming 😤

What a shame we were totally ripped off by Maxis tonight! The online menu states chips are £1.50 yet on collection we paid £4.40 for 2. They wanted £6 if paying by card! Lockdown does not mean disrespect paying customers.

Ordered our meal but was very disappointed, there was very little meat in it we counted 6 pieces of chicken, apparently they should have been 12 ,the denby dale special was more like a soup ,needless to say we wont be going there again ,after many years of going to maxis I can honestly say that was the worst one ever

Total let down After many good delivers of top food they sent stone cold food and half portions to my door and got all wound up on phone with me Had to get it collected and order from another place

Great place to live in if you live near Denby Dale to get a great pizza

Absolutely brilliant. Ordered a mix of items, onion bhajis, chicken tikka pizza, mixed starter, chicken garlic masala and a peshwari naan. And it was all great. Pizza base was freshly made, thin and crisp with hand rolled stuffed crust. Curry was clean and fresh tasting, not oily in anyway. Naan was again spot on. If your in the area, this is the takeaway to order from. Only downsides, they don't take card payments over the phone and aren't on JustEat.

Ordered a pizza and chips pizza was cold and never got the chips. I rang back and all they said is ill knock a couple of quid of next time.

Order from here regularly, really good variety of food and we've never been let down. We usually order to deliver which is free of charge, delivery driver is always polite and friendly too. Could recommend this place enough really, we never go anywhere else for takeaways.

OK for certain things . unfortunately some things are not as good as others. if like me you like onions for instance it's no good . they say they don't do them on my kBab. in fact strangely they don't even seem to no what they are. certain dishes are good and certain ones I've tried not so good.
