Amazing cake and service just wonderful

Rude manager. Asked a simple question if they can make a birthday cake and ignored not even bother to get back

I recently visited this cafe, and while the cakes were nice, I was surprised to see coffee served in paper cups. On top of that, the two available sizes seemed incorrect, which was quite confusing. One major issue is the lack of a price and product board—customers have no clear idea of what’s available or how much they’ll be paying. The absence of background music completely kills the atmosphere, making the place feel dull and lifeless. I also couldn’t tell if there were allergy labels, which is an important detail for many customers. Sometimes, I get the impression that certain people have the money to open a cafe but no real clue how to run one. This place has potential and a great location, but I doubt they’ll manage to scale up successfully unless they address these fundamental issues.

20/10. Absolutely lovely service & even better desserts. It’s not often I leave reviews, but the brilliant service I have received every single time is next to none. I would simply return for the friendliness and the mannerisms held by the staff which is rare in eateries of this day and age. Furthermore, I don’t normally believe many “dessert” places in Yorkshire ever get it right & they tend to be just a hype with no authenticity. Kake Temptations not only serve authentic creations & desserts but also with flavours that work. The Viennese Whirl is my absolute favourite and will forever be a craving. Your staff really are doing the best job & then some xxx

As a baker, Im very fussy with cakes because alot of cakes do not taste home made. I cant say that for Kake Temptations! These cakes are some of the best cakes I have had. Ive had a different ones and they’re all divine! The red velvet cheesecake is amazing! I have to visit Kake Temptation every time im in batley.

I’m so grateful to Kake Temptations for creating an amazing birthday cake for my husband. The design was stunning, and the flavor was fantastic—everyone loved it. Kake Temptations really went above and beyond to make the day special and ensure the cake was delivered on time, despite a number of factors making this difficult. I can’t recommend them enough and would definitely go back!

Nasehaa ( definitely spelt this wrong but sounds like ) is one of the most beautiful humans you can encounter, scrumptious as the deserts at Kake Temptation perfect marketing. If you have a sweet tooth try it, if you don't or you've had your fill of cakes and buns and biscuits please try one of their gateux, they are something different, generous portions and all have something unique that is their own touch. White chocolate, pistachio, dark chocolate with matching sauces ... pistachio latte is something I can recommend... You won't regret giving them a chance and they are open til quite late if you want a medium to later date and visit coffee and deserts place instead of bar or heavy meal or restaurant setting this place offers an either day time vibe or on an evening a relaxed and cosy ambience ...xxx

Been here many times over the last year. Always good service, good selection of cakes, good recommendations from staff. Sometimes the cakes we want are sold out but we normally call in advance.

ZERO stars for the tea. Was powdered tea despite asking for traditional desi tea. They should offer desi karak tea not powder in water

The best ultimate Bruce cake I've ever had! The sauce is something else. Fantastic customer service and lovely atmosphere.

Usually, when I go to kake temptations, the coffee was always wasn’t nice, however this time when I went, Nasihah, gave excellent service.. a the coffee, 10/10 .. with Beautiful smile .. I will back for coffee

Excellent service every time I come here from Hasinah and Nasihah. They’re both very helpful and extremely knowledgeable about all the items on the menu, not to mention their kind nature! Always smiling and ready to help!

Excellent cakes and great service

Got two slices of cakes red velvet and chocolate Swiss roll as a take out. The slices were very small and broken, cakes were dry and stale and went straight into the bin. Therefore I don't have any photos to upload. Totally disappointed this place is definitely going downhill

Unfortunately 2nd time ive ordered a san sebastian cheescake and the portions have been very small, as if half is missing. I usually purchase weekly but been getting very small slices. Dont usually write reviews but surely this cant be worth 5 pound even the chocolate sauce which comes in a seperate container barely covers the cake now. Also not sure why but the top I know is meant to be burnt to an extent but this was near inedible. Hopefully improves as I usually love the quality offered.

I come from Leeds just so I can buy my weeks worth of goodies from Kake!Im never left disappointed and LOVE that theyre always trying new things and bringing new concoctions to the table. Best service too. All thats left is a loyalty scheme!

I happily drive an hour out of town to have their desserts.. The cakes are always scrumptious and the staff are lovely. I even witnessed the manager giving free cake to a homeless man and for that reason they have my loyalty.

Travelled all the way to try the world famous Bruce cake. I wasn't disappointed the cake is absolutely delicious. Everything a Bruce cake should be. Washed down with a cup of perfectly brewed Yorkshire tea. A fantastic variety of cakes. Also picked up a slice of red velvet cake. Can I give a shout out to some fantastic customer service from Hasina and Nasiha. Smiling helpful staff making it an overall 10/10 experience. If you are in Batley definitely check them out.

Good quality. Service is abit awkward as its very quiet indoors. Also dont do card payments. But highly recommend.

As a frequent customer of kake temptation Batley, I can not fault them. The food is amazing and the staff there are so friendly and always serving with a smile and politeness. From their bakes, gateaux, cake shake, mocktail and savoury items, I’m always spoiled by choice.

Had Bannofee gateaux today, very nice, highly recommend it.

Saw a tiktok on this place so i decided to pop in and get some cakes. I tried the chocolate and victoria sponge cakes and they were amazing. Highly recommend will definately be visiting again soon 👍🏻

Extremely friendly staff and excellent customer service skills- she had vast knowledge on all menu items and provided great service. Bruce cake is always a 10/10- by far the best chocolate cake ever. The Victoria sponge is another firm favourite. Tried the caramel latte cake which was again really nice, with a strong coffee base. S’mores cake was a little dry in texture but the marshmallow fluff and chocolate frosting worked nicely. So happy they’re back open for a sweet fix when needed! However, please note that even you are eating in, they only offer wooden cutlery and serve everything in takeaway boxes.

Best cake shop in batley. Cakes are fresh and tasty. Would recommend trying the bruce gateaux and milk cakes! Very good prices, beats the socks off all competition in batley.

I visited yesterday with two friends, ans ordered a range of things off the menu between us. Firstly, the service was brilliant from all the staff, who kept checking in to make sure everything was okay. We ordered a Beef Brisket Panini, the Bruce, Peanut Stack, and two different types of hot chocolate. Everything was so tasty, and fresh. We were all really impressed- safe to say, we devoured everything, and also bought brownies to take away, which were scrumptious! Definitely will be my local go to!

Beautiful setting, friendly staff and great atmosphere. we ordered the beef foccacia and the famous san sebastian Cheesecake that everybody is talking about which was heavenly a perfect balance of appearance texture and flavour with the freshest ingredients meticulously mixed in the right proportions and baked to flawless perfection absolutely divine. Amazing desserts! Fantastic customer service. Will definitely come again.

This was my first visit to the new KT, and I definitely will be visiting again. We tried the fresh croiassant and the chicken focaccia bread - both were absolutely delicious. The Bruce hot chocolate and gourmet latte were both divine; you can tell from the taste that high quality products have been used. It's a perfect place to get a hot drink for this time of year. The staff were all wonderful and polite and made sure we had everything we needed; they made my little girl feel very welcome.

Favourite dessert spot! There are so many different types of sweet treats to choose from. Personally, I adore all of the cheesecakes as well as the Focaccia paninis. The hot drinks were smooth and creamy, making them ideal for the cold weather. Excellent customer service provided by a team of friendly and welcoming employees.

The Cinnamon Churro and Bruce Chocolate cake were both outstanding, light soft crumb.

Just left Kake Temptation and can definitely say wont be visiting again. This was my second visit, first time was fine, the young lady who served us was amazing. Today just put me right off. A group of 5 ladies turned up at the same time i’m guessing the male that works or owns it was aware they were coming so he cleaned their table for them, was very attentive (self proclaimed blogger he was saying to her he had put stuff away for them and that he will fill the dessert counter for her to take pictures) he was running back and forth to that table and another table which had some of his family/relatives on it. Our paninis came out as full and not cut in half like it was done on our previous visit, it was also served on a plate, the vloggers and his relatives have ordered the same but theirs was served on wood slabs and cut in half! He was running back and forth asking these 2 tables if they need anything and didn’t bother coming to ours. We had to ask for sugar but the other tables were asked a number of times if they need anything?! As much as i enjoyed this place the guy’s customer service skills has put me right off. Will not be visiting or ordering from you again. All customers are paying customers! I spent £35 tonight! I should have got the same treatment as the rest of your customers.

Called them to confirm if they had the San Sebastian cheesecake, they told us they had plenty and to come down, told them to put 3 slices aside for me and my 2 friends and we will pay over the phone as we were travelling from 25 miles away and didn’t want to be let down once we got there as we have been let down in the past because it is a popular item on their menu. They then told us that they’re only allowed to serve 1 slice per group strangely :S but to come down and they will sort something out and that they definitely have plenty left. Got there to be told that there is only 1 slice left and the person serving pointed at a group of 3 people that were clearly having 1 slice each, weird :S absolute time waste and atrocious customer service.

The freshly baked cakes were delicious and warm coffee warmed me up on a cold morning. Customer service was brilliant! Would definitely recommend

They had a buy one get one free offer with a code from tik tok. They lied on the stores and said offer was just valid for weekdays. They didn't even had any hot desserts options apart from cake and custard. Lady was not helpful at all. No wonder why there were not many people. I even showed her the video, so she could see there was not mention that the offer was for weekdays only. She still didn't seemed to care.

Lovely service, we had the kakeshake the strawberry and cream and red velvet, both were very nice, the cakes are fresh and are best in town, the panini is also nice. The quality you get for the price is competitive.

Where do i start? Although yes, the staff are very friendly, i was absolutely mortified when it came to ordering. 2 pannini's, two pieces of cake. No where at all were we warned the chicken panini was laced with chilli. But, not throughout, only in certain parts. Being an IBS sufferer... this took me by surprise. The cakes were dry and crumbling as if they'd been left out for too long. Now... being what looked like a decent place... we expected food for 4 people to be pricey. But, they absolutely took the cake! No pun intended. got the paninis with 5 crisps and a handful of lettuce on a wooden block. Every single movement on the chairs slid on a super slippy floor like an ice rink, which my 62 year old nother with a walking stick and very bad back didn't appreciate. ... and then... the bill..... 42 POUND!!!!! i could have died!!!! That's absolutely disgusting!!!! For 4 of us we wouldn't even rack up 40 pound ordering a Chinese takeaway!

The ginger tea and the sticky toffee pudding are nice but I'm a big fan of their milk cakes

Absolutely amazing service👌 coffee is how coffee should be high quilty roasted beans. tastes delicious☕ they also had option for dairy free milk, oat milk flat was spot on. Spanish latte was amazing perfect balance. chicken foccasia bread panini was delicious.

The food and drinks were delicious and the atmosphere was lovely and very welcoming. We ordered a latte and a cookie dough/ brownie slice. It was devine and il we are looking forward to trying the other mouthwatering cakes. Definately worth a visit to this lovely cafe.

There are two places which offer movenpick ice cream in Batley, sapphire cafe serve it for like £1.95 whereas they sell it for £3 per scoop here which is just insane, but I must say their tres leches cakes and hot chocolate are elite and higher quality and the cheesecake is deffo the reason for returning in my eyes the quality, size and price of the cheesecake alone is enough of a reason for 3* however, for that extra two stars need to see improvements to rest of the menu and price adjustment. It would be awesome if crêpe was available and french toast, and I honestly believe if Basque cheesecake and soufflé were sold this place would be literally struggling to keep customers away as those aforementioned desserts are light and utterly delicious.

Had one of the best crumbles from here however didn’t realise we would get charged 2.50 just for custard. Other than the price of the custard it was perfect.

I love there cakes an brownies although I feel they have sadly changed the slices to much thinner slices the taste is still great , the triple chocolate brownie is so yummy my absolute favourite to my surprise as I’m not a brownie lover generally .. recently tried there focaccia sandwiches over a sit in coffee catch up with a friend an it was delicious an filling, will probably be grabbing another tomorrow

Ordered a brownie with icecream, red velvet milkshake and hot chocolate. Enjoyed the brownie went perfectly with the icecream. The milkshake was rich and creamy definitely a winner. Good service food arrived quickly and the staff made sure we were satisfied with the food. Nice decor, comfortable seats.

Exceptional cake. Surprisingly tasty new savoury menu and lovely customer service. I've always loved a cheeky kake temptations late night uber order. we popped into the new Batley store today and can I just say the new green velvet chairs are incredibly comfy. So from the moment we sat down we were ready for a good time haha The beef brisket and pizza panini, went down an absolute treat...wasn't expecting the savoury menu to be that good but wow I've found my new lil snack after a grocery shop in Batley!

We came to try the beef brisket focaccia panini which is a must try! And the Spanish latte was spot on. We absolutely love the Bruce cake too!

One of the very BEST bakehouses in town that makes the BEST cakes, brownies and other sweet treats. KakeTemptation’s bakes are always fresh and excellent value for money. Every time I visit, I am never disappointed and I always leave the cafe smiling. The staff are very helpful and kind, where the customer service at KakeTemptation’s is second to none. I highly recommend KT to everyone !

Visited the Batley store and as always it didn't disappoint. Customer service was on point. Got the Bruce cake, victoria sponge and the ferrero brownie - they were all very tasty but my personal fave and star of the show has to be the nutella and ferrero cake. Moist and baked to perfection. Didn't manage to try the savoury menu but will definitely be making another trip. 😋

The chocolate coconut muffin from there was to DIIEE FOR!! I'm not really much a muffin person but my wife bought me one and I thought I'd nibble on it.... 20 seconds later it was all gone it tasted that good!! I'd would definately keep going back just for that! Amazing place 👌

Zahed and his team made me and my son feel very welcome. We just popped in to see what the newest addition to Batley had to offer, so only stopped for a drink. In the end we had cake and cheesecake between us, plus a cup of Yorkshire tea and coffee. Both cakes were excellent but I was really impressed by the coffee, which was incredible. I understand from Zahed that they get their beans from a high end supplier, which was obvious by the creme and taste. Will definitely be going again.

First time going so tried a variety of the menu. The portion sizes are share sizes!! Milk cake = amazing The food in general is made with passion and you can taste the quality of ingredients used! Keep up the good work!
