I have heard a few people talking about this place but sadly it didn't live to my expectations. The basic starter "chilli balls" were cold and did not taste good at all due to certain ingredients used in the mix. The Dhull Puri was nice but the various sauces that go in, were not tasty at all and just ruined the whole thing. The Briani was not too bad. The Puie D'amour was good. The place itself gave me doubt about the hygiene in the kitchen, may be that is just me being paranoid. We travelled quite far away to try this place but I'm afraid, this would be the first and last time. All the best.

Terrible customer service, charging prices dependent on their mood as well as rude manners! They tell you to leave the food if you challenge them on the prices they charge. Clearly told them I was needing their food for today and they took advantage to charge higher than the £5 they charged me previously and on top they tell you to leave the food! Clearly they are arrogant and have no customer service or manners (Unlike the previous staff who were always welcoming) no forks or spoons when you order takeaway. Do not go unless you like being ripped off and can deal with bad customer service. I will not be returning here. You guys lost a very long standing customer. Thanks to other Mauritian restaurants in London for saving the day for my family’s party.

Although decor and general upkeep can be improved. The five is purely for the food and value for money. Best mauritian style briani in London. Home made snacks! You cant go wrong, if you want a taste of Mauritis.

I never usually write reviews on food places i go to, but this place was a must. They serve fresh tasty food and is very mouth watering. My favourite dish when i go there is lamb curry, dhaal pori and the kebab roll and napolitan (sugar coated biscuit). The service is also amazing, they are welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend this restaurant, and would definitely eat from there again!

my wife and i went to this place last Saturday as we were passing through. a small, family run place. we met the husband and wife team (Mauritian), really nice couple, friendly and were happy to answer any question we threw at them. the food is halal, and v tasty. everything is made fresh on the premises. it can seat about 14-18 people, neat and clean. we had dhall poori (a Mauritian favorite) for starters. like a floury roti with a chili, tomato paste and bean for a filling. it was OK, my wife really liked it. i then had a lamb biryani (hyderabadi style). the portion was big (enough for 2, £5 a plate) and fantastic. the best biryani I've eaten out in London. i don't eat much rice when I'm out, but this was great, nice and open rice, lovely flavors and the meat was nice. i would have preferred more meat (i believe each mouthful should contain meat :)) my wife had a chicken noodle (noddle made fresh on site). she really enjoyed it, again a very big portion. we ordered a chicken fried rice as a takeway, and ate it at home the next day. it was really tasty, spicy, reasonable amount of chicken and vegetables. we also bought some freshly made biscuits, barfi with coconut - v tasty aagain, i should have bought more. i will definitely go back if im in the area. the food was really nice and fresh, the place is clean and the owners were really nice.

Regular customers of Dominos and we order our usual pizzas. The last order (24/04/25) which included Texas BBQ and cheeseburger was horrendous!! It tasted awful! Obviously we don’t eat domino’s for its health aspects; but it’s supposed to pack taste and flavour. Our experience was everything but that!

We visited in January and REALLY loved it! It was random check-in for a dine-in to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was worth it! The staffs were so accommodating and courteous. The ambience was very lovely! We enjoyed our visit!

I was in London on a business trip, and things didn’t go as planned. Since I had no time to visit Tavazo’s store myself, I decided to call Tavazo and ask if they could prepare the items I wanted and the answer was yes. As it was already late and I wanted to get their delicious treats so badly, I arranged and sent an Uber to pick up the order, but when it came time to pay, I realized their payment system required SMS confirmation for remote payments, and since I didn’t have a UK phone number or bank account, I couldn’t complete the payment. When the staff at Tavazo learned about my situation, they did something truly rare — they trusted me and sent the order without receiving payment upfront. I’ve never experienced such kindness and trust from a business before, and even my coworkers were amazed that I received the items before paying. A special thanks to Hima, who went above and beyond to make this happen. Tavazo London is truly lucky to have her, and I believe this level of kindness and hospitality speaks to the values of the entire store and to the genuine warmth of Iranian culture. Of course, I am now arranging payment for the merchandise, which I was kindly trusted to receive beforehand. Thank you, Tavazo London, for such outstanding service and unforgettable generosity!
