This morning, I stopped the car by seeing the desserts in the showcase and I wanted to get sapreted 2 pieces to get 2 pieces.She gave me 2 pieces from other side on table, not from showcase...!! I asked are they same, fresh? She said yes, lied to me.She is big liar.. I came home and see stale a day before....No trade with a lie !!!! HARAM

Amazing staff and breads, some of their items are priced slightly higher than the competition, but the presentation and quality assurance make up for it. The staff are very polite and respectful. 10/10

Hello, the Sangak bread of your shop was very good and I introduced all my friends to you. But unfortunately, I was ashamed of everyone this week and the quality of the Sangak bread was very bad and it was all burnt. Please use the previous ones.

I bought four breads today when I opened the bread’s bag I realised they were completely burnt

I didn't know much about Iranian sweets, so when I asked about the products, they kindly explained to me even though they were very busy. They also let me try some samples, which made me feel at ease. The taste was very good and all the sweets were handmade and of high quality. The very kind staff member was Mehdi, who is Iranian. All the other female staff were kind as well. If you come to Finchley, I recommend the sweets here.

Persian delicious nuts,naan, pastries and more. If you're persian you'll love this place,the name tavazo is well known in the industry back in iran and i reckon this might be a branch/franchise or a subsidiary of the main one back home . They offered us free pastry and were very kind to us .

Beautiful cake Melts in your mouth Have bought cakes from this shop a few times. All my friends have been ‘wowed’ by the softness and the freshness of the cake. Cake melts in your mouth. Especially the vanilla flavour

They overcharge you without you knowing quality really bad

Today their fresh-made breads are shorter and thiner than usual. I have been happy with their breads before, sad to see the change.

I live in Liverpool and on Tuesday morning I went to the Tavazo bakery in London for the first time. At first the smell of fresh bread was very appealing to me and then the nice and respectful attitude of the staff and the Iranian products which are very rare in Liverpool made me feel very good. I definitely recommend you not to refuse the offer of tasting Danmarki pastry. It won’t let you down😉

I bought danmarkiva shirini tar , and they lied about them being fresh. They poured syrup on them to make them look fresh, but they were dry and bad. I'll never buy pastries again—only the bread was okay.

Today I got three Berbers, unlike usual, I don't know why today they were mischievous and left the old bread in front of me, I was tired from work and I was not careful and didn't check that it was old. Now my wife is always nagging me that giving you stale bread has spoiled our food.

Prices are a bit high but standard qualities.

Had an amazing experience at this store, especially dealing with Raha! Great selection of authentic Iranian products, from fresh produce to delicious sweets. The staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Iranian flavors!

Selling old cream cake, and pretend it to be baked fresh on the day!

I definitely recommend Tavazo. I have tried most Iranian sweet shop but this is the best one . Their cake bakery part is doing amazing job , every time I ordered any birthday cakes, everyone love it. All staff are so polite and friendly as it’s very hard to find this in any other Iranian sweet shop. All rest products are more fresh in compare other sweet shops in Finchley area

The cream cakes from here are amazing, great Iranian food selection

Today,I bought Halim from Tavazo Supermarket, which was supplied by Elahe Catering. Unfortunately, the quality was very disappointing. The Halim was overly oily, and instead of using ghee, they used cheap vegetable oil, which affected both the flavor and texture. The taste was bland and not enjoyable at all. I wouldn’t recommend purchasing from this catering service based on my experience.

Surprising variety, and always freshly made desserts and bread.

A beautiful little shop. Their nuts , bread, and cakes are so fresh and delicious. Everything is so organised. Very friendly staff. The only downside is that sometimes the shop can be too crowded, which is understandable as they sell so many fresh and beautiful items. I must point out that no matter how busy they are, the people behind the counter always acknowledge you. I will always buy my bread and nuts there as long as they have that quantity.

I've been here a few times buying small items. The service has got progressively worse. The women serving do not even speak English and are unable to communicate with customers unless the customers are also Iranian. They are also very rude ignoring customers in order to chat to other staff or their own friends who have just walked in. If you are Iranian, you take priority for the service. Obviously, I will not be back or leave money in this racist business that has no respect for the local people and should, quite frankly, not be in this country at all.

Food waste sales in this place as dried fruits and nuts!

On Sunday of this week, I bought some zolbia from this store. Unfortunately, it was completely left. It is better to say that the wood was dried out, which could not even be chewed. The zolbia tray was on top of the refrigerator and could not be seen easily. I couldn't open the contents until I live at home in Greenwich (SE), this has made me never buy from you again because I feel like my conscience has been insulted, I would definitely return it if I lived near the store.

Tried it the other day - caramel cake was pretty good. Will try out some other items soon - they all looked quite appetizing. Moderate prices.

You can find here a good choice of interesting nuts and Persian stuff.

Only just discovered this place. Really friendly staff who offered lots of samples! Open in the evening in case you fancy some late night cake! They also sell nuts and dried fruit. Highly recommend.

I have taken some kakes unfortunately quantity not good and that wasn't fresh.

I live basically 2minutes away from this patisserie and buy always buy cakes, Iranian cookies and breads. My kids loves their deserts but today when l was shopping again this time next to me with my kid l mistakenly pass to their staff £5 .20 instead of £ 5.90 suddenly she just burst out with a very rude and aggressive way that l gave less money. She first she needs to learn better English so l would understand and pay exact money second she could say with an approachable way there was any mistake third she has no right to approach me next to my kid and next to other people that way. She has to learn how to talk and learn to manner than she can work in a catering business. Obviously she is not happy working there or she was not happy l was not spending much money or maybe she was not happy l am not an Iranian. I belive she should return her little village if this country could not teach her anything. Do not loose your loyal customers for a person who has no idea about how to talk with another human being. Shame that shop can be more amazing if they throw away bad apples. Honestly will not go there again.

The sweet treats are great, but every time I come here the staff behind the counter are rude and sometimes borderline aggressive (perhaps because I’m not Persian?)

Good place to enjoy Persian pastries

I'm in the middle of eating a slice of light chocolate cake that I just bought from here, and I have to say it is tremendous! Beautifully light sponge and nice icing that isn't so sweet it makes my teeth hurt. Friendly and helpful service from the ladies behind the counter. I highly recommend trying this place if you are in the area. I will definitely be back should I be back round here.

One of the ladies serving behind the till is quite rude to the customers and even to her own colleagues. Makes it hard to go back and shop there again.

Tazazo prices change on a daily basis. We used buy sangak bread for £2.00 then went up £2.30 and now £2.50 this rise on price has gone up just by few weeks. Not year or even months. Not to mention the bread quality has gone down as its just getting thiner and thiner. You are bunch of thieves... . Your service and quality is poor. Shem on you Tavazo..

Didn’t like the taste of birthday cake. Too sweet and no vanilla could be taste in it.

The best Sangak bread on Finchley high street, and good price. The shop itself is a bit hectic, but the quality of bread makes up for it.

Really cool staff, really tasty pastry and many options for all Persians and non Persians. The fresh bread from the bakery is one of the best things I’ve ever tried in life. Honestly, if calories weren’t a thing this place would be visited at least twice a day! Haha really good try it.

Mr Shahabi and his staff are just lovely, the thing maybe a bit expensive than others but their approach are great and respect.

I had the most horrendous experience in Tavazo today. I was buying 2 sangak breads, when I went to collect I politely requested if the breads could be hot and straight out of the tanoor. The gentleman standing by the tanoor became extremely aggressive upon my request. He started to swear, shout and his reaction to my request was out of the ordinary. I requested to speak with the owner, when a gentleman came out of the back of the shop and defused the situation. I have been shopping in Tavazo, Finchley since it opened and have never experienced such service. I was absolutely shocked with the reaction that I was met with after asking for hot bread. It certainly left a lasting impression and I will never buy another item from this establishment ever again.

Tavazo is a delightful Persian patisserie with branches in Ealing and Finchley. The pastries here are absolutely divine - they are beautifully crafted and bursting with flavor. The selection of sweets is impressive, with a wide variety of traditional Persian treats that are simply irresistible. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, I highly recommend stopping by Tavazo for a taste of authentic Persian delicacies and don't forget to buy some of the Persian Bar Bari or Sangak bread!

Very busy with freshly baked Persian breads and fantastic desserts. It's so good that I drive an hour to go shopping there.

We showed them a picture of the cake we would like, and they did a really lovely job creating that. However, the writing on top was not how we asked for it to be done and really ruined the cake and made it look unprofessional. We then had to go and buy decorations to cover the writing they had put so the cake was presentable. When we spoke to Tavazo about this they did not seem to care.

The brunette girl working at the cash register is very rude and not polite at all. A lot of customers will be lost because of her.

Beautiful cake made for my mums 60th birthday here, was a fruit vanilla square cake with strawberries, raspberries and grapes on top. Light and absolutely delicious! We have been and will continue coming here for any cakes in future! A lovely written birthday message too! Fantastic price for the quality you get. Thank you.

For the first time was trying Tavazo but unfortunately wasn’t a good experience as I found a hair in my cake.

Staff is very friendly, from the bakers to the till operators. they always have something to offer you at the end of the day, which is a nice touch. Their bread is outstanding and you can pay any amount with card. They are open til late which is a big thing. Thank you!!

Finally I can get a decent fresh Choux bun filled with cream for reasonable price the flat breads are cooked in front of one and a variety. The 3 pack is very tasty and great for making a sandwich/wrap/pitta. I top the Choux buns with a coffee fondant icing and freeze them.

Good quality Persian bread but too pricey the cashiers are not too honest they need to work on their attitude as well…

Save time, money and embarrassment In all honestly it was the worse cake I have ever tasted, it was faaaaaar from fresh, it was definitely old....absolutely dry and disgusting, some of my family had a spoon and spat it out.. it was sooo embarrassing!.....all of it went to the bin and I had to go out and find a new cake for everyone asap, instead of relaxing and enjoying my time with my family!

The ladies at this shop really need to drop their attitude. It’s like they’re annoyed that I’m buying from their shop. And they’ll start talking about you rudely in Farsi in front of your face like you don’t understand (I always pop in with my Iranian friend and I have knowledge of the language) You have to announce your presence to be acknowledged for service. Service, friendliness, hospitality don’t exist in this place which is so annoying because I love the cakes, nuts and sweets they sell here at a reasonable price. I don’t want to have to tell myself not to go here just because of the rudeness and unpleasantness of the staff. Fix up

Ignored by staff, Middle Eastern customers served before me even when they arrived later. Myself and an Indian lady were completely ignored even when we were explaining that we have been waiting for longer than all of the people being served. 2 Stars instead of 1 because my mother likes the cakes, no one else in my family does.

If you’re Black don’t bother!!! You will be ignored in this shop!!!! They will serve Caucasian, Persian, Arab looking people over you! I’ve visited this place several times and met with the same response and behavior EVERY-TIME! I left this place in tears after having to stand up for myself. I must say I was shocked to see such blatant ignorance/ racist behavior exists in this shop! YOU NEED TO DO BETTER!!!!

Amazing Persian Patiesserie. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, they even gave me a delicious free custard pastry while I was looking at their cakes.

She deceive me and took £20 and showed me that I gave her £5 , turning out paying £8.26 bank card and £20 note for halve kilo. Rip off

I’ve been there twice They got very poor customer service. The lady works there. She was very rude and check wasn’t fresh. I ask her is that fresh she said yes this is very fresh, but it wasn’t very poor service and very bad quality.

Goods are more expensive than any other shops near them or most of the shops that we have do our shopping for persian goodies in London. Owner is extremely rude! I have heard the way he uses really bad language.

Get couple of kilos seeds and pistachios from Tavazo shop. unfortunately it was musty and I felt a worm on my tongue, so disgusting 🤢 added the worms photo in google archive. Will never try their pistachios , but regardless to that sweets and hot breads are lovely.

I very rarely come on here to do reviews but I thought I should save others from embarrassment, time and money, I bought a cake for my son for £28, I was surprised how bad the quality of the image was on the cake but I thought maybe atleast it will taste better than it looks so didn't say anything to them but I'm sure they could tell by my silence I wasn't happy... anyway when it came to cutting the cake and eating it,....in all honestly it was the worse cake I have ever tasted, it was faaaaaar from fresh, it was definitely old....absolutely dry and disgusting, some of my family had a spoon and spat it out... it was sooo embarrassing!.......all of it went to the bin and I had to go out and find a new cake for my son and the guests asap, instead of relaxing and enjoying my time with my family!
