OK this is not in the best area of Manchester (or Salford more accurately) though there is some serious regeneration going on. It looks a bit of a dive from the outside frankly, but venture inside and you'll find a spotlessly clean (and you can see the kitchen from the 'chippy' counter) if lived-in establishment. Service is very friendly, helpful and quick. But it's all about the food and this was the best Chinese take-away I think I've ever had. I went for Bean Curd in Szechuan sauce. Everything was clearly very freshly prepared and perfectly cooked. A far cry from the usual gloopy corn-starch thickened sauces and dried-up beancurd of certain establishments. Chips are very good too. Very good value and hIghly recommended!

Went to Master Yiu's twice for takeaway. Good food, good menu, and good service. They open at 11:00am and close late. Ordered a variety of dishes, crispy duck, udon noodles, Thai noodles, chop suey, and fish & chips! Really enjoyed them all.

Lo confieso, yo sólo probamos Yiu ya está abierto el domingo a diferencia mi local, pero muy contenta de haberlo hecho. Buena comida : no grasa y rápidamente preparado. Los platos de verduras son fuertes. Precios muy razonables. Y te puedes sentar en la : alféizar )

T Bosomworh - Had the pleasure of eating from the Golden Crown for over 30 years and have obviously been treated, I have moved out of the area and realised there is no comparison to the taste and quality of the Crown. I recently visited and was treated with the same warm welcome, great service and fabulous food, best Foo Yung in the land! Irlam is lucky to have the Golden Crown in their area and I would like to thank the beautiful family that have been committed for years to providing the area with an authentic taste, remaining remarkably consistent for over 30 years and always providing an excellent warm and welcoming service.A taste of home. Their food is obviously prepared with much love and attention. I wish then much luck and prosperity for the future x

5 - 7 Church RoadMy wife and I booked on a Friday evening after travelling up from Nottingham for the weekend. Lovely food, very nice staff and service was very good. Very nice place and very popular. One thing maybe could have had complimentary Prawn Crackers to start but that’s just something I have had in many restaurants before not an issue. We really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend and will be back on our next trip. 😊👍

19 Oldfield Rdwhat a pathetic establishment. Do not accept card payments but also did not accept my £20 note because it was from Bank of Scotland. They also have a 1 star hygiene rating if you want to bother googling it. Won't be back.

102 Chandos GroveFriendly staff and incredible food! I’m usually quite harsh on food admittedly, but Chando’s is fresh & incredibly good value. Best sweet and sour sauce I’ve tried, chips are always crispy and not mushy, not much is frozen that I’ve had and generally just good solid. Get on Just Eat!
