First time trying, Food was very hot & very tasty. Definitely recommend this place.

The worst food I ever had. We have order a Dal tadka and it took him 2 hours to deliver when we complain he just say 5 mins-2 mins like this. Very bad service and the reception don't know how to talk and behave. Never recommend. Very bad service and food was not good at all.

Again wrong order this has happened 3 times only get 30 min break from work so couldn't take it back

The owner of this establishment is a true gem. I haven't really been to this restaurant myself but there was a slight confusion with two restaurants of the same name via Deliveroo and the staff were very co-operative. Many thanks to you guys. I will definitely visit the place someday soon to experience it in person ..

Everytime I've got any food out of Master Chef, I have had no complaints and I've had a mixed of all different types of food from there, lovely food and very friendly staff.

i only got one thing and it was chicken cheese rolls but it was not good at all it was so mid manzu does it better

Best local Chinese takeaway. There curry sauce is brilliant. Has its own distinct taste which I love. Good prices and big portion sizes. The only Chinese takeaway I use here in possil.

Very good will use again. Chicken fried rice and curry sauce with chips. Portion size was great for the price.

Better then happy date without a doubt, food is lovely so nice and good flavour also the kitchen isn’t stingy with there food the containers are packed right to the top full of food. Highly recommend this shop!!

I too thought it would be nice and gave the mixed reviews a chance. I received watery, oily Singapore chow mein. No soy sauce, no flavour. Every bite I had to wipe oil off my lips so I binned it. The small tub of curry sauce I ordered which from typical places can cover a portion of rice and more was a 50p kebab sauce tub size. I called the restaurant, the guy said that's how they cook their food and their curry sauce comes in these sizes. I said I wasn't happy and nothing offered. Mountain of grease went in the bin, complete waste of money. Stick with your typical Chinese places. Also didn't follow just eat's no contact rule and the kid didn't speak a word or smile when I opened the door, creepy vibe.

This is a disgrace, prawn toast, also got ribs that where all gristle never again dont even want to give it 1 star

Asked for lightly fried rice, got burnt. Asked for extra egg, none. Asked for mild curry sauce, too hot. Can't even get the most simple order right. Binned!!!

I certainly won't be ordering from there again. I ordered shortly after 8 pm with a delivery time of 9.15. At close to 10 I had heard nothing from the restaurant so was forced to contact them myself. I was given a new delivery time of 11.10. They couldn't even be bothered to let me know until I got in touch with them. Eventually at just gone 11 the meal arrived. No apology, no extra for the inconvenience, no reduction on the price. But at least I had a meal. Or so I thought. The food was awful. I threw most of it away and ended up cooking myself beans on toast. Considering how long I had waited and how hungry I was the beans on toast was absolutely delicious. And given how long I had waited and how hungry I was this might give you some idea of how truly awful the food was. But for the avoidance of doubt. I ordered fried rice. That was rice that had been fried in a boatload of old oil that was congealing in the bottom of the tray. It smelt off. I managed a spoonful before the rest went in the bin. I ordered the Shredded Chilli Beef. The beef had been cooked a considerable time before it got to me and had obviously been reheated. It was soggy and limp and also smelt off. It also contained some peppers and onions that had also been reheated and then left to cool. And the whole dish was completed with a small amount of a too sweet tasteless sauce. I took two bites and consigned the whole lot to the bin. I ordered a tub of satay sauce. It was very small, which was lucky because that too was truly appalling. Instead of a sauce, I got a liquid about the consistency and warmth of a lukewarm tea that tasted of peanut butter. That also went in the bin, which was lucky as I didn't have anything to have with it anyway. The small portion of prawn crackers was fine. But it is hard to imagine anyone managing to take three hours to mess up a rather small portion of prawn crackers. The only issue was I have paid a pound extra for the paltry portion where most takeaways in my experience give out for free. Anyway, the prawn crackers went down brilliantly as I cooked my beans on toast for the evening. As soon as I saw the appalling state of the food. I tried to contact the takeaway. And as you can imagine, there was no reply. I couldn't leave them a review on the night because they had not updated the delivery on the website. All I could do was ask for a refund via the Just Eats website. The site only gives you limited options to complain, so I took the best fit...the fact that the food was two hours later than the expected delivery time. 10 am this morning I received a text from Just Eat to say that the Happy Date would not refund my money because the restaurant had been exceptionally busy yesterday night. In summary, the restaurant took no responsibility for the problem. They didn't bother to contact me to say it would be late, nor have I received any proper apology from them. Everything has been about how they were having problems and nothing about how they might make amends, keep their customers happy or do anything to address the problem. I have to ask if they were that busy that they were failing to cook food properly, send it out at a reasonable time or keep their customers advised on the delays why were they still accepting orders? And then the food was amazingly awful. It almost all went in the bin. And that was a spectacular achievement (but not in a good way) considering how long I had waited and how hungry I was. And finally, they are refusing to give me a refund based on the fact that they had exceeded their capacity and as a result, the food that I spent my money purchasing in good faith from them was two hours late and only fit to be thrown away. Considering how many good fast food places there are in Glasgow I would recommend taking your custom elsewhere on the basis that these guys are only after taking your money with no hint that they care about their service, their food or their customers.

By far the best Chinese take away in Glasgow. Food always fantastic!

Not a bad wee take away!They do a Lovely long tray Special Fried Rice for £4.10 which is good!Curry is too mild for me but tastes are different so....Give it a try good selection of bargain meals if you are on a budget also the normal Chinese menu available too!!

I have just ordered the Beef Szechuan Style. The meat was pink and it smelled bad. I called the restaurant and they said that this is the way the meat is cooked. After living in China, I know exactly how this dish should taste. I had to bin the food to avoid food poisoning and ordered a new one from another restaurant.
