Items missing from delivery, they didn't care, said they would send it to me the next time I ordered and hung up. Bad attitude and rude, and the food will make you feel dodgy the next day

My order was delivered 1hr late. The food was really nice as always but really disappointed that there was no communication about the delivery. I called the restaurant about 10 times but no on picked up. Having said that, i will defo order again as this is the first delivery issue I’ve had with them and i’ve been ordering food there for the last 4 years. Just hope they have better comms next time about any late delivery.

Masaladar is our go to takeaway. Usually really great food and very quick service. Sadly this time because the delivery had been with the driver for so long the food was cold when it arrived.

There was some confusion around the delivery first time but this was resolved in 10 mins and was delicious. Thanks for sorting so quickly!

There was no receipt on the bag. The poppadom was taken out of the bag I was given an empty bag the naan bread was ripped in half and was out of the bag the receipt has been taken which has my address on it very Upset and disappointed. Now I cannot eat the food.

The food was awful. The onion bhajji and papadoms was oily. The papadoms tasted off, dry and as if it was out of date. From an Asian background, we can tell that it was off. My dad thought they reused oil to make most of the stuff so that is worrying. The curry was really oily and it had no taste. Tasteless food. I use to buy food from this place before and it has gone downhill. I wouldn’t recommend it. Worried that I will be unwell tomorrow :(

Although we came only a week after restaurants had officially reopened during the coronavirus outbreak, Khas was still running as smoothly as ever. Not only was the food second-to-none but our waitress Angela was exceptionally helpful in providing dish recommendations and had an all-round-professionalism and warmth which is hard to find. Will definitely come back here soon!

The poppadoms, pickle tray and onion bhajis were delicious. The saag aloo was very tasty but a bit spicy. The aubergines were nice but too oily. Naan was nice. I would defo order from here again despite the downfalls since the seasoning was on point 😊

The food is delicious. All time my favourite. I’m impressed with delivery it’s on time. A few years back it took about 2 hours to be delivered and sometimes didn’t arrived at all. This time it was perfect.

This is our usual curry house, but they let us down this time. One of the main dishes we ordered was wrong - they sent us a korma, not the jalfrezi we ordered. Food quality was great, but not impressed with the mix-up this time.

we order curry quite regularly and it was revolting , didn't taste like an indian take away at all. on top of that I couldn't even ring the restaurant never ordering from here again

Usually very happy with the food from this restaurant. Unfortunately Naan & rice were coldand the curry only just warm. I was expecting two poppadoms, but received a bag of broken pieces (looked like different) of poppadom, which didn't even make up a whole one. The curry itself was as expected tasty despite its temperature.

Good arrived quickly and was warm. Wasn’t impressed with quality of food - my lamb haleem didn’t seem to have any lamb in it.

Main course looked to be just sauce - no lamb

Brilliant, best curry in tooting by far!

I’m not sure the exact time, but it was definitely quite a bit earlier than the time it said. Absolutely love this place, highly recommend the tikka and butter chicken. This is the only place I’m going to get my curry from again. The naans are great and so are the cassava chips.

This time food wasnt good at all..we ordered nihari its come with terrible piece of meat and was way too spicy and the chicken tikka was under cooked..and he naan was dry and hard...totally waste of money today

The driver that delivered my food was amazing. I don’t know if he is with just eat or the restaurant but he deserves praise!! Honestly have never had a driver as nice; he should get a raise!

This was a bit of a let down. I ordered the Home Alone set meal. Poppadom - best part, very good. Salad - small, disappointing and brown on the edges. Chutney - received a green sauce for the poppadoms which I expected to be cool but was spicy. Onion bhajis were nice. Lamb Masaledar curry was like nothing I've tasted before. Weird flavourings, some ginger in there but a random combination. Lot of peppers. Didn't taste authentic at all, and wasn't very big, and too spicy. Pilau rice - a lot of rice. Naan was massive which is good, but strangely thin. I won't order again.

Super quick delivery, food hot and delicious.

This restaurant has always, in my view, served very good food. Having not been in the UK for a long time, I craved to eat from here again. It has undergone a (very serious and expensive) makeover. The food though, what we bought to take away, was delicious. Its authentically Pakistani they are very proud to tell you. I wouldn't know, but what I do know was the lamb, chicken and vegetarian food we bought were all great.

I have ordered from them quite a few times and the quality has generally been good how we this time it was nearly 45 mins late, I chased 3 times and was told I’d get a call back, which I didn’t. So of course the food was cold when it arrived. Shane because the quality of the food is actually good for a takeaway

Masaledar used to be my go to place to pick up a curry in Tooting. Been going here for 15 years, However, after undergoing a refurb and now what appears to be new management - what made this special - the food, has taken a steep nosedive. Firstly, there has been a price rise in many dishes with portion sizes being cut. A mixed grill is now £18 and contains far less then they used to offer before. Previously, you would get a a half chicken, cubes of lamb, lamb chops, shish kebabs, they've cut back and now offer wings instead of the half chicken. Food is not cooked to the same standard as before and I would say is too expensive for what is on offer. A shame, but nothing lasts forever.

This restaurant has recently been refurbished. It is beautiful inside and has been decorated well Very comfortable seating The five meals we had with starters or excellent. There was a vegan diner with us who was very complimentary about all of her dishes. The service was impeccable. Every dish was very tasty. This included chicken Jalfrezi, Lamb Biriyani , Spicy chicken wings, onion bhajis, Dahl, a delicious aubergine dish, naan and Parathas You can bring your own bottles to this restaurant. Conveniently, there is a Tesco’s opposite. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant whether it be for a special occasion or just the wonderful curry evening.

We love eating in the restaurant in Tooting but tonight delivery was really disappointing. It was as though it was a completely different restaurant. Poppadoms arrived greasy and burnt, the chicken Bhuna was oily and tasted like a jalfrezi and the paneer lababdar was bland and too creamy. Really disappointing after such good food in the restaurant :(

The set meal deal is really good. I haven’t ordered from this restaurant for ages and I’m so glad I did. The chicken jelfrezi is on point. I like how they pack everything too. Best Indian in tooting. Will defo order again.

I ordered masaledar lamb with nan and mogo..the mogo was ok but the lamb masaledar curry was amazing..will order again for sure ;)

Delicious food. Really great flavours. I tend to order early evening, and delivery is generally earlier than the scheduled time. Would def recommend. I can’t submit this review without entering a score for restaurant service .... which is ridiculous as I wasn’t in the restaurant and this is a delivery app.

Great tasting food, good portions & value for money

The food arrived quickly however it was not very nice. All the food was extremely spicy. The food used to be a lot better but not been great recently.

The restaurant’s recent refurbishment looks lovely, it is a bit odd going in the side door and we had to hunt for the door, but once inside it was a brilliant evening! The service was brilliant and the food delicious. They made a special mention of the Italian dessert chef and the desserts were really amazing! It is still cash only and BYO. Great evening and we will def be back. :)

We tried out the Masaledar after their recent refurb. The main waiter was friendly and helped with ordering, but the service times were terrible. We were a biggish group of 10 people, but our starters took 45 mins and the last main course arrived 2 hours after we'd sat down. The heat of my Karahi lamb was just about right for me, but a few people were complaining the food was too mild and generally bland. Small shots of mango lassi were a refreshing end to the meal though. The fact it is BYO meant that it was a fairly cheap night out, there's a Tesco across the road. Strangely in these days of digital payments, it is a cash-only restaurant! One thing we couldn't understand is that they've moved the front door so it's no longer easy to find - up the side street rather than on the high st. Everyone in our group had to search for the entrance which now brings you in at the back of the restaurant...bizarre! Unlikely we'll be going back, lots of others to try on Upper Tooting Rd. A shame, as this used to be my go-to takeaway option when I lived in Balham.
