Tarragon Persian Kitchen and Bar in Wandsworth

La brocheta de cordero era particularmente buena y las chuletas de cordero estaban bien. Las salsas estaban bien, especialmente la de berenjena ahumada. Pero los Dolmas eran terribles. . . ahogado en vinagre. . . nada remotamente similar a Awraq 'Enab o dolmalar turco. ¿Podría deberse a que no están particularmente extendidos en Irán? Además, no entendimos por qué la entrega no incluía pan. . . ¿Cómo se suponía que íbamos a comer las salsas?

The first time I have order the food was a mazy and very nice test. For me it was the first time I test irani good. I have place order take a way 1-01-20 it was just horrible no test missing even item for the price payed no more comments and never again . Very disappointed.

I ordered Parseh special a couple of days ago. It was the best kebab I've had. Amazingly cooked and seasoned. Chicken was very nice. Will def order again

Fue mi primera vez para probar la cocina y fue una experiencia increíble. A diferencia de otros restaurantes y comida para llevar, la comida no era muy aceitosas y se veía cómo los ingredientes son frescos! Disfruté Fesenjan así! Me encanta color granate y tiene un montón de salsa de granada! Mi amigo pidió porque es un Gheymeh adecuada iraníes y sabía de todos los platos muy bien! Disfrutó mucho, especialmente el estofado de lima seca dentro de la era tan sabroso! Bien, eso es suficiente para mí, puede probar a hacerlo tú mismo! :D

Han estado aquí varias veces y puedo felizmente decir que la comida es deliciosa y a un precio razonable. La parrillada mixta es increíble y el pan de horno de piedra es su arma secreta! Va muy bien con los aperitivos que tienen para ofrecer. Sin duda vale la pena experimentar.Genial para fechas de la cena, con amigos y para fiestas de cumpleaños con la familia.

Fuimos a este restaurante persa de Lavanda Hill, SW 11. La comida estaba bien, pero no es satisfactoria. Quizás porque cambió de manos al nuevo dueño al Señor Bijan H., no estaba muy bien establecido como solía ser que escuché de un amigo antes.Por supuesto que no voy a visitar este restaurante en futuro, porque ya hay muchos otros restaurantes bien establecido por persas.

In a nut shell VERY friendly staff and delicious food. Clearly trying to do all they can to please customers....certainly will be back :)

Super friendly people dedicated to bringing good food. They have there own oven in which they bake the best bread I have ever eaten. the bread was the highlight of my meal. Some additional sauce might have been good though.

Food was delivered on time. Good portions- the chicken with rice was succulent- the mince with rice was ok little dry. Cant fault their food. I enjoyed it.thank you!!!

La comida está bien - kebabs agradable. Un buen sitio local. Yo soy parte persas, así que soy un poco más exigente que el visitante habitual - dicho esto soy un cliente que vuelve. Sin duda merece la pena una visita, pero no si viene desde la lejanía.

Fui allí con unos amigos (una persa incluido) y fue genial. La comida era fantástico. En especial me encantó el pan (el camarero persa hace que allí mismo, en frente de usted) y algunos de los aperitivos, aunque no recuerdo los nombres. Pedí plato #25. El arroz estaba muy sabroso y el pollo estaba también muy suaves.

All very good. Only issue (small) was that the portion of butter included with the meal had completely melted by the time that I received my meal. Perhaps the restaurant could consider this when sending it with the food. Otherwise, highly recommended.

We eat in the restaurant regularly, and really love the food, but the delivery was late, cold and just not as tasty...and we live within 500m of the restaurant.

Un amigo y yo finalmente nos aventuramos en Tarragon, un restaurante persa ubicado entre una gran variedad de restaurantes de lavanda Hill. La decoración era interesante el mesero, atento y el menú variado. Nos pidió un pan y hummous para comenzar y luego vimos el pan y poner en el horno auténtico. Como plato principal ambos tuvimos - pollo marinado y cordero pinchos de Momtaz picada con arroz y tomate - cuando llegaron las raciones eran enormes, nos arrepentimos de no haber tenido menos del pan! El pollo estaba particularmente suculentos. La única pena fue que no había habitación para postre. Buena comida, bien vale la pena una visita.

I have been here many times now and have always enjoyed my dining experience. Can't fault anything on the menu, excellent choice of startes and sides with fresh baked bread. Main courses always fulfilling, staff very helpful and polite, highly recommended for a visit.

This is a hidden gem- absolutely amazing, homemade fresh food, with a great menu. Really impressed at the meal size- you won't leave hungry!

I dined at Tarragon twice last weekend and on both occasions the restaurant was ominously empty.However, I have no objection to a quiet location when the surroundings and service are so warm and welcoming. On the first occasion we shared a very generous starter of homemade hummus with freshly baked flatbread followed by a mega medley of tender and tasty lamb dishes served with salad and rice. On my second visit we shared a large bowl of spinach, yoghurt and garlic dip with more of the warm flatbread and then feasted on poussin plus mixed meat and vegetable kebabs. All the food was freshly and simply prepared and absolutely delicious. The wine selection is well matched to the menu and very reasonably priced. Above all the service was exemplary and nothing was too much trouble including the provision of doggy bags to take home what we could not manage to eat.

We live close by and decided to pop in for dinner. The meals - one grill and one stew - were both excellent and the bread was baked there and then. The place never seems full but deserves to be more popular than it is, although it seemed to be doing a roaring take-away trade. Give it a try!

The restaurant was quiet when we went without a reservation in the middle of the week. It was the first time I have tasted Persian food and we were all intrigued by the flavours. Service was friendly, prices were moderate. All in all, a good experience.

I have been ordering here a lot. Over time the service and the food quality as well as the portion sizes changed (a third smaller). I ordered the 2nd time in a week and half of the things I wanted where not available. Then one side wasn't delivered. The second time I ordered in that week, the y forgot the main - had to go back and forth 3 times to complete the order. Salad was full of eggshells- so i won't be ordering here again!

We have just had a wonderful experience at Tarragon - excellent food ( all four different main courses were cooked to perfection) and the Persian ice cream( flavoured with rose, saffron and pistachio) was sublime). The atmosphere was relaxing and the service was quick and attentive. Do go and visit. We will certainly be back.

I've been here a couple of times now and on both occasions the food was a delight. The service is also great and the atmosphere is very cozy and welcoming. Reasonably price as well as most Persia restaurants are in my experience. Overall highly recommended.

Great food, great atmosphere, ideal for couples, absolutely delicious, the chelo kebab and the aubergine stew are the best. and they have a lovely place for shisha as well.

The mezeh platter is fantastic, the bread is amazing, and the lamb is also great!Staff very kind too. Excellent All-round.

RUBBISH!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT. I love Persian food and always enjoy the kebabs. We have ordered Koobideh, chenjeh and baghali polo. kebabs were so bad unfortunately I bin them all rice was awful and disgusting. baghali polo beans weren't cooked... overall quality is ZERO! I will NEVER EVER again order from here. They used to be very good, but this is the second time that the food is disgusting!

Went here in October with family and was immediately impressed with the friendly service and the fresh tasting food. Real flavour, but with the light touch that is sometimes missing from Middle Eastern food.The really good experience though was when I returned a week or so later for drinks & an early dinner with my wife - sitting outside on an unseasonably warm evening, wine, snacks, super friendly service - we stayed way longer than we intended, chatting to the staff & a family gathering that pretty well took over the place.Casual dining doesn't get better than that!

i ordered traditional ice cream and Zoolubia & Bamieh the ice cream was very nice and good portion size, but unfortunatly im very disappointed in the Zoolubia & Bamieh for the price of £3:80 i ordered 3 and all i got was 1 tiny Zoolbia and 3 little bamieh in each portion very dissapointed that tiny portion is over priced and the Zoolbia tasted of burnt oil.

Food was great and came early, but I was missing an item I ordered and received no phone call, then the delivery driver told me he had no change and was keeping the extra £3.50 as a tip, which was shockingly disappointing.

I always order from this place, (unless their closed) the delivery guys tend to recognise me. the food is brilliant and many times food has arrived before it should which is also great, on this occasion, they did not have some of the things I ordered available today but the swiftly called back and offered me a refund and still delivered the food regardless that my order had not come to £15 which made me very happy as I would have had to either cook or order elsewhere which can be risky :p My favourite local restaurant although I hope to visit the shop in person someday soon!

£18 for chicken and rice with a sloppy tomato sauce. Terrible value. And the soggy baklava was foul. Stay well clear of this restaurant.

New chef? Best ever home delivery on 27 September of Chelo Kebab kubideh, joojeh kebab and kebab-barg from Tarragon. Absolutely delicious.

I love this place. Deserve to be much busier. Great service and awesome food. I recommed the skewers and definitely have the fresh baked bread. A hidden gem in the Clapham/Battersea area

basically it is kebabs, rice and salad type of food here folks. all appears to be authentic Persian here though the level decor could do with a minor refurbishment. low key wine list. good service. would recommend though would i come here again? given that there is so much choice in the wider clapham/wandsworth/battersea area, well probably not.

The most authentic Persian cuisine I have eaten! We used their takeaway service.My son ordered Kebab Barg, Joojeh Kebab, Kebab Kubideh and a helping or Ghormeh Sabsee with rice and bread. It was all perfect. The meat was succulent and tender and flavoured in the true Iranian style. The food was delivered promptly in well packed containers and was hot. Next time we are in London we hope to visit the restaurant.

We move to this part of time last October and we went to Tarragon one evening, since we go very often, we do take away and we take all our guest there.The place is comfortable, the food is delicious try the mix of starter it is really amazing. The meat is always very well seasoned and you can see the bread being made in the oven in front of you. Very friendly staffHighly recommended

I went with friends to Tarragon. The food was fantastic - the taste of each of the fresh ingredients leapt off the plate. I admit I do like food very much and really appreciate experiencing new tastes but this was exceptional, and I'm usually not lost for words but the combination of the rice-paper noodle sorbet and the rosewater/pistachio ice cream was beyond words. Simin was the perfect host and her team were attentive and extremely happy and friendly. I'm really looking forward to the opportunity to take some friends or family there some day soon!Tarragon is easy to reach, being not far south of Chelsea Bridge and on a frequent bus route from London's West End.

Fantastic independent restaurant in Battersea/Clapham. I went with my gf and had a cracking meal. Very good value for money, friendly staff and fantastic food. I will be going back!

Went with a group of friends from work around 10 of us. There is a huge amount of lamb on the menu but the vegetarian dish went down well, as did my fish dish which was delicious. It was so nice to eat different food for change, Persian food is well worth a try. Wine was good as was the service. A really sweet restaurant that looks after customers.
