Un buen lugar para tomar una copa, las tapas estaban bien, pero yo diría que no da el toque de las auténticas tapas españolas. . . demasiado "ordenado" y organizado, he estado en mejores lugares de tapas, pero la comida era realmente buena, nada especial, así que no estaría tan ansioso por volver, pero estaba bien

Visited on a Sunday evening and while the place was far from busy, there was an eternal wait for service from the distracted and uninterested staff. The manager had taken one of the front tables for herself and her friends. Totally unprofessional and would absolutely not recommend this place. The staff prefer chatting and trying the customers’ drinks instead of trying to offer quality service. They don’t even understand their own Happy Hour offer. Avoid and go somewhere else.

We had a nice dinner in a restaurant. Food is good but is not really safe. During the dinner random guy with mask was walking around the restaurant screaming at people and collecting money. Restaurant staff ask him to leave after 10minutes. Also my friends wallet was gone (lost or stolen). We called the restaurant but they did not find it and apparently there is nothing on CCTV. Not really a good experience.

Lunch for three in a restaurant we've met in dozens of times, but that restaurant Mas Q Menos is gone, although the website still takes reservations - naughty!Ordered tapas from a new menu at much higher prices. Didn't have the wine we wanted and the recommended substitute was poor.The food was well enough, but one item unavailable, one mistaken and another forgotten made for a disorganised meal.Teething troubles? Perhaps, but we won't be back.

We used to order a lot from this restaurant through deliveroo and food was really good. However we ordered from it today (after change of management) and the food was horrible.First of all the menu has been massively reduced.When we received the food and saw the paella, we were shocked. The rice of the paella was stodgy, tasteless, the calamares on the paella not cooked and it didn't have as many ingredients as per usual.Then the king prawns had a funny aftertaste.And many more....Really disappointed. We had to go get food from Pret at the end as we could not eat what we had been delivered.

I visited this restaurant, a favourite of mine, on Saturday. Very disappointed to find it had changed hands with new name, menu and no longer accepts taste card. New menu was poor, staff very disinterested and all in all a disappointing pre Theatre meal with my daughter. I’m afraid I sadly won’t be visiting again. A great loss as a favourite restaurant.

I met an old friend there right before the show. Service was a bit slow but the food and the drinks definitely worth it. Looking forward to come back there

We decided to eat here as we were in the neighborhood. We ordered Spanish beer which was good but the tapas dish we were disappointed with its taste...I guess I expected a lot more from Spanish tapas bar but this is England...they all lack in flavor. Service was good tho..

We had a taste card and there was about 8 of us. We ordered sooooo much food and wine and it came to about 15 pounds each. Amazing value for money and more importantly the tapas was delicious!

Tapas were average, however black ink paella was very nice! Octopus was awful! Sangria is defiantly overpriced!

Fui a mas q menos para salir de noche con amigos y realmente me encantó. La comida llegó a nuestro parametrizada rapido y tan sabrosa, tuvimos paella de carne, churros, pantumaca y aceitunas. Pasamos como tres horas pasando un buen tiempo con sangría (ritmo que he intentado azpilicueta en Londres) y el anfitrión era muy amable y acogedor. Sin duda recomendaría mas q menos en Soho y me llegó pronto. Estoy tan contenta de encontrar este restaurante en la ciudad, sigan así y gracias:).

Me había estado esperando el sabor de la comida más que menos que tenía en el mismo restaurante en diagonal, en Barcelona, España. Me pasó al descubrir que había el mismo restaurante en el Soho. Todo lo que puedo decir es: excelente, la comida muy sabrosa y la gente muy amable. Gracias por todo. Elegí el teatro menú yo estaba viendo un espectáculo después en el Palladium y como se puede ver, era excelente. Soy alérgica al vino, así que me ofrecieron una luz lager (pinta) en su lugar. El pan de Catalán es perfecta. Un auténtico placer para comer aquí el sábado 7 de abril al mediodía.

Siamo stati in questo ristorante la sera prima di partire, ottima accoglienza, ragazza che c ha servito piena d' entusiasmo anche perché avevamo 3 bambini ed un pupo di 3 anni, tutto molto buono ma ora passiamo alle note dolenti. Al momento di pagare non ci siamo resi conto di una voce sul menu. Miro (prosecco) 45 sterline che non avevamo ordinato. Più attenti noi la prossima volta meno furbi loro

I had hoped to book into the Mas q Menos at Holborn but it had closed. We booked here and went down stairs ( not as noisy they said). Enjoyed the food and the wine . The staff were very good and enjoyed a chat with the ex manager of the closed Holborn branch.

Como un visitante muy regulares a España y bares de tapas, siempre estoy dudosa de las ofertas del Reino Unido. Seamos claros, no es gran mal realmente no está mal del todo. Fui con un amigo aficionado al mío y comimos una selección de tapas. La comida estaba bien pero llegamos todos juntos demasiado rápido y un poco fría para mi gusto. El restaurante estaba vacío, siendo el almuerzo y servido por un chico muy agradable con una personalidad para cambiar. Relación calidad-precio era buena también, teniendo en cuenta la ubicación y cantidad de comida. Me gustaría volver allí.

We visited here as a group of three friends on a busy London Saturday evening. We were trying to find somewhere that we could sit down and have a few drinks whilst being able to hear our conversation and this place ticked all of the boxes.

After a show the two of us , booked a table on a busy Friday night, ordered 6 tapas and a bottle of Rosados, , althought very busy but we got the waitress , to take our order, got the house rose which was cool and good, then soon after came the 6 tapas, all good and hot after being warmed in a microwave, no problem with that, as at that price would not expext to be cooked fresh, however , good service tasty tapas , very small tables , so when ever we get to see another show in Soho would definit return

My wife and I looked for a restaurant in central London where we could entertain our nieces. Masqmenos was well located and the reviews, whilst not good, were satisfactory. We went to the Masqmenos home page, and booked a table for 4 persons using the online booking facility.

The mark up on the wine is beyond criminal.

Cucina spagnola. Prezzi contenuti, personale gentilissimo e posto carino. Molto buono il pane con l'aglio, buoni i gamberoni, ma non all'altezza il prosciutto. da un ristorante spagnolo mi aspettavo qualcosina in più.

Ensalada fría (como en fuera de la nevera) con puré de aguacate pollo" de una botella de la izquierda mi pareja claramente insuficiente. Mis patatas fritas estaban perfectamente normal. No es el sabor de España que yo esperaba.

Relaxed setting when seated in the corner upstairs for a business lunch. Service was attentive however engaged three different staff during time here. Food is very good and varied menu to suit all tastes. Wine choice complimented food very well.

Es difícil encontrar un sitio de tapas que combina un ambiente moderno y elegante, excelente comida y un increíble servicio al cliente en el centro de Londres, especialmente en zonas turísticas como el Soho. Las tapas son tan buenas como en un bar de tapas en la España rural, los calamares son una obligación. El director (su nombre es Anca) te hace sentir bienvenido y recuerda su nombre (e incluso su mesa favorita) después de un par de visitas, te hacen sentir como parte de una familia española en la agitada Soho - excepcional!

Delicious food! Amazing tapas and paella. We were a party of 6 and Ari went the extra mile to find us a great table. He recommended great tapas and paella. He also recommended a very good wine and the best deal we could get. Definitely a great restaurant, but Definitely his attitude and way of serving was the cherry on the top. A little bit of Spain in the middle of London. Kudos!

We went to try this place as it wasn't overcrowded during late Saturday afternoon on02/12/17, most other places seemed very busy on Wardour Street.A tall dark haired Spanish waiter simply pointed us to a table and carried on being rudeand incompetent and charmless through out the afternoon. We ordered tapas and he constantly mixed up the dishes we ordered with the table next to us.AWFULL EXPERIENCE !! He never apologised and all his communication was short and manner was rude from the start to the time we left .The food was average/ below average for the price. Avoid this place ! The five star review FAKE!! So don't be fooled!! The food was very overpriced for a paella that had undercooked rice and starters that bordered on greasy fast food .But most of all the tall waiter who works there is unpleasant to the extreme!!The waiter -said his name is Ari ?-tall Spanish man who is unpleasant to all customers and incompetent too.

My evening at the restaurant was amazing the manager and staff were really friendly and welcoming. The vibe of the night was great the food was delicious and the manager helped me decide on a good whine to acompany my meal. I highly recommend this place and i will definitely be comming back again.

Well, so I am Spanish and can't tell how excited I get everytime I walk pass a tapas restaurant.We took a seat ourselves as apparently no one could attend us - 1st strike. When the guy finally came to write down the order he absolutely invaded our personal space and as I said I'm Spanish i.e. very used to short distances - 2nd strike.We ordered a couple of what was meant to be "Alhambra 1925" (bottles) and we were served some dodgy and watery pints. STRIKE 3. We also ordered some "Pulpo a la gallega" before ordering "main courses" etc. OMG FINAL STRIKE! No chance. That was not fresh octopus, neither the potatoes, ha! It felt like a gum + no flavour at all.Honestly guys, just go elsewhere or have a look at how to do Spanish tapas in YT, inexpensive and for sure, better taste!

Wend there to eat something before theatre show. Food or wither service were not good. We have go a seafood selection which you could clearly see (and taste) that was not fresh but literally only taken off the can; calamares were not good, again you could see they were frozen and they only tasted of oil. I've been reading reviews saying that it's a little part of Spain well you haven't probably visited Spain.The one star is because it was quick, it should be zero.

Basic food, nothing outstanding. Bar person recommended a very expensive glass of wine on the menu but when I tasted it, it seemed average - when we asked to see the bottle it was not the one on the menu he recommended - I asked about the error and he claimed he was aware of the change but did not feel the need to explain it... Overpriced for basic food; £4.40 for 5 small dices of Manchego cheese in standard olive oil - which I thought might be complimentary to make up for the miss selling of the wine but no. That said, nice interior, lighting and atmosphere but unsurprisingly availability despite busy Saturday night - am assuming very few return visits!

Had a great meal with delicious tapas and a nice atmosphere - the service was just excruciatingly slow and they messed up our bill. Which took another 20 minutes to correct and no apology. They acted like we were the inconvenience. Would possibly return, just need to make sure we have plenty of time.

Lovely restaurant. Great menu and fantastic wine list. Service both friendly and efficient. Perhaps a little expensive, but this is in the heart of the West End. Altogether an enjoyable experience.

This place was so-so. I liked it because the wine was cheap and the service was friendly and fast. Most of the food was average, the paella was really bad and the ham croquettes were delicioso!

I read the previous gluten free review on here after my friend had booked this restaurant. The review was from a few years ago, but I was still a tad nervous.Anyway, I had nothing to worry about because when I mentioned I was gluten free the waiter got out a whole file with what was in every dish and was really helpful! There were lots of options and it was all lovely :)

Looking for a quiet bar to catch up with 30 years of life seemed an impossibly in Soho! We were however welcomed into this atmospheric and convivial restaurant with open arms despite only requiring beers, having eaten already. Ushered to a quiet corner table we were looked after by friendly and understanding waiter making the evening a memorable one. Thank you !

Good selection and most of it tasty, the meatballs were exceptional. Only downside was the food appeared to be pre made (would question if made on the day) and microwaved to order, not what I expected at those prices. What gave it away, our group ordered various items and they were with us 5 minutes later.

El sitio es acogedor, la comida es muy buena todo español, y lo mejor es que todos los productos españoles están cocinados con materia prima española. El servicio caso todo ingles, pocos hablan español, pero todos muy muy agradables. A nosotros nos encantó, y creo que si alguien no está de acuerdo es porque ha tenido un mal día. We used our tastecard here so it was only £20 for 4 dishes and 2 drinks. Would recommend going for some of the more 'ordinary' dishes like the spanish omelette and patatas bravas. The tuna salad was basically tuna out of a tin which was a bit of a let down. Service was fast though which was good!

Located in the heart of Soho. The menu is typical Spanish with typical tapas dishes. The dishes are quite small but good. It can be quite expensive as well. Service was friendly.

We discovered this by accident and are glad that we did, especially as an old-established Spanish restaurant in Old Compton Street seems to have closed. It brings a taste of Spain, with its Spanish atmosphere, music in the background, wines and tapas, to this part of Soho and tries to remain reasonably authentic. There was a good range of tapas, though nothing unusual. For two, we had olives and bread with a selection of 6 tapas and that was good for us. Well cooked, with friendly staff, the price was good value for what we had. They were let down by the churros for desert, which were expensive for what they were and I have had better.

Nous avons commandé une sangria, deux mojitos, et un jus de pomme. La sangria et le 1er mojito sont arrivés plutôt vite. Le jus de pomme à mis un temps infini à arriver, juste pour verser le jus venant d'une brique dans un verre. On les voyai prendre leur temps. Le 2eme mojito est arrivé, il y avait une seule feuille de menthe et une couleur étrange. Nous leur avons demandé de nous en reservir un vrai. Ce qui à rallongé le temps d'attente. Nous n'attendions qu'un chose c'était de s'en aller. La note est arrivée sa les dérangeait qu'on paye à plusieurs plus les 10% de pourliche qui étaient signalés dans le menu en tout petit. Bref des feignants de mauvaise fois. Je ne recommande pas

Les serveurs parlait et souriait entre eux sans se soucier des clients.. notre verres est arrivé au bout d une demie heure!!

Had a lovely cocktail in here last night, no tapas just a drink and checked my receipt this morning to find a 10% service charge which I'm truly disgusted about. I eat and drink regularly in SoHo and have never seen this under hand tactic before. We were going to return one day soon for tapas but they can forget it now.

Lo bueno:Una atencion muy cordial y amable, con una carta variada en platos españoles. Muy buena la sangria y los platos que probamos estaban bien preparados, no con el tipico sabor español, pero con un toque.Lo malo: es que si van a tener un sotano deben consideran que el wifi tiene que si o si ser accesible para quienes tenemos que estar conectados todo el momento. Comento lo del wifi porque lamentablemente los muros hacen que el 3G no funcione. Tambien es importante que consideren aumentar el tamaño de sus mesas porque es dificil colocar dos platos, copas, tarro sangria, etc en una mesa de 55cm x 55 cm

Despite it being an extremely busy Saturday (Pride), the service was fast and friendly and the food was on par with tapas I have had in Spain. My Spanish friend also enjoyed it.

En estos días hemos estado en tres ocasiones en dos de los locales Más q Menos de Londres, en este, en concreto, dos veces.Te sientes como en España por la cerveza, carta y música, pero pienso, como Español, que a los extranjeros una cosa que les gusta de España, y mucho, es la TAPA!!! Ganaría mucho si la pusieran, tanto para los de aquí como para los españoles que entramos, la esperamos y... no la hay...Por lo demás todo bien!

The restaurant is well setup and has an extensive menu . The food was good but not exceptional. The wine list is mainly Spanish and has some nice choice .service was good and wanting to please. Give them a try.

Went here on Saturday with friends - we have all lived in Spain and love tapas. The decor is appealing and seating very comfortable although tables far too small for four people to share tapas. Service was good but food not great. Jamon iberico, tortilla, manchego, olives were all good but tomato/garlic bread soggy, meatballs and chorizo tasteless, squid not great. Our bill with wine was over £200 (no desserts) for four and we were all still hungry afterwards - we shared around 15 dishes but you would really need double this to equate to a normal meal.

Well, as you know if you have read my reviews, I can't get enough of the tapas style of food. I was a bit surprised to see this restaurant slated. I thought that the quality, taste and value were all above average. The range of tapas is not so extensive as the best I've had (eg salt house tapas in Liverpool), but that did not detract from the general favourable impression. Sangria very good, and there was a beer that was not San Miguel, although I've forgotten its name it was tasty.

It was ok, not much flavour. Food was tepid. The Sangria was great. Service ok. Don't think I will be going back.

Wir hatten nur ein Glas Wein am Fenster. Der service kam erst, als wir ihn auf uns aufmerksam gemacht hatten. Aber war sehr freundlich. Insgesamt nette Atmosphäre. Über das Essen kann ich nichts sagen, aber für ein Glas Wein nett!

My wife and I stumbled upon this place on our last day in London. Great wine and food and service that was genuine and not robotic like a lot of the places we have visited whilst in London,We felt like we were in a local family restaurant in Spain itself. My only criticism is that you are only in London! We live too far away to make it our local.

My partner and I went for dinner on Friday the 19th of May. First thing I see when I arrived at the restaurant its a lady, I suppose a manager, yelling at the members of staff behind the bar in front of every single customer. Pretty uncomfortable to see. I had a taste card an I thought a 50% discount on food would be applied. My bad, cause it was actually a 2X1. I ordered 5 tapas and no one told me I could have one more for the same price. By the way the bravas with chorizo and the garlic prawns were nice but please don't order the meatballs. We had to wait 20min for bread and apparently that's the norm for a restaurant that only has 6 tables to serve and a empty downstairs area. When we finally got the bill we couldn't figure out how the discount that had been applied. Our waitress wasn't very helpful, as she couldn't explain and kept rushing us to pay. We paid, but my partner and I did want to understand the bill. So my partner asked a manager who happened to be the same angry woman I saw yelling to staff. The manager in a very condescending manner told us that we were getting a 2x1 and then we understood although we were a bit shocked our waitress didn't tell us. So then my partner asked if we could take the tapa that we didn't order as a part of the deal. Surely the till system makes them aware of this things when applying a discount ... Any way the answer of the lady is ' Ha What do you want us to do, we are very busy' . The situation was very simple to fix, wasn't a big deal. All needed was common sense and being nice. The careless, rude and angry attitude of a member of management towards a customer says a lot about a company and its training. Very disappointing.

We have eaten in Mas O Menos in other countries, and it has been good. Here in London we took a tapas selection. Some of it fine, but a lot of it not really tasty and appealing. Probably to bad raw materials.Not even the ham was really good - the manchego cheese uneatable!Pity.

Uno mas de esos ligares con aspiraciones, buena estampa y que terminan decepcionando en sus intentos.Es un lugar muy bien decorado, con excelente atención y con espacios generosos para estar cómodo, Wardour Street es un lugar muy pero muy atractivo y se merece estar al nivel.Con todos los detalles, se pasa un rato agradable, salvo por la sangria que debe ser mejorada en forma urgente para no parecer un jarabe para la tos!!...los precios?...es Londres...

Great find - authentic tapas, delicious dishes, quick & lovely service, lovely interior and old value - just a shame we couldn't have stayed longer but had theatre tickets! And by the way I've been to many proper tapas bars all over Spain and was with a Spanish friend who couldn't agree more with my comments!

Looking for authentic tapas? This is NOT it. I am confident those who thought it so have either never visited Spain nor do they have a real sense of the flavours and quality that should come through in Tapas. The menu selection was good, but the execution of the dishes was so below average I would not ever return/ recommend. The Pan Catalan to start was cold and soggy and started the evening on a tone of ''should we maybe leave?" Service was a little clumsy (early evening- no excuse) having forgot to bring a drink ordered, yet adding it to the bill. The staff were understanding when I refused to pay service charge but none the less, this is not a place for Tapas.

Having just come back from Spain and falling in love with it I wanted to relive the experience here. I had the pleasure of viewing a large picture of Barcelona covering the back wall- the typical sunny blue sky, with a bit of the famous Sagrada Familia church in it really provided a great atmosphere. The service was nice and laid back staying true to Spanish culture. (Best not to come here in a hurry.) The only thing I wasn't overly impressed with was the sangria which was only mediocre. The food was on point. We had the calimari, patatas bravas and the aubergerine tomato one. All of them were very flavourful. I was most keen on the veggie ones. I only wish they served gazpaucho.

Hemos descubierto en Londres un lugar donde poder resguardarte del trajin de la ciudad y de su fastfood multietnico. El Masqmenos es un restaurante"spainenglish" que sin muchas pretensiones te acerca a la comida más mediterranea. Si tubiera que destacar algun plato quizas sus tapas (no muy grandes, la verdad) y sus rusticos, (bocatas).Ambos te devuelven a la esencia de los sabores "made in spain" a un precio asequible, en un pais dónde comer es más una obligacion que un placerPero si hay algo que es diferencial en este restaurante, es su personal...un equipo joven con muchas ganas y muy servicial.Si os acercais por el local de Holborn o Soho preguntar por Josep, es un joven de Mallorca muy majo.... Great atmosphere! However, food was incredibly poor, the worst tapas I have eaten. Also the bar staff were rude and tried to push us to buy a far more expensive wine to what we wanted! Will not be visiting again!!

A lovely selection of tapas, all very tasty. I cannot understand why people order paella but, from my observation, paella here is cooked from fresh. However, the chicken brocheta was lovely, as was the chorizo in cider and the chickpeas in spinach. A good selection of wine. The sharing plate of manchego and ibérico was to die for, with a tasty bottle of fino.

Buen sitio para comer. No es caro comparado con el resto de sitios. La Cocina y el servicio muy bien.

Disappointing! Four of us, looking for a place to eat, Saturday night... why not some tapas? Shame we did not look for something else. The "tabla" ordered was rather small (for the price!) and boring. The best, at the end, papas bravas! Would I come back? No. Shame.

It was a good dinner. Simple tastes and good service. Reasonable prices. I really recommend this place.

We choose this place for good location. Four girls celebrating birthday. First they forgot to bring us theatre menu which is good price for groups of friends, staff seemed lost and unfriendly. We had to ask couple of times for water to be brought to our table. One of the waiters was friendly and rough us extra chair for our handbags etc. Our table was small and not big enough for the group luckily the same waiter brought a foldable table which helped.Food was all right for the price but if I'd have to pay full price for everything - no, it's just lacking flavour.My friends asked for freshly squeezed juice, when they got the juice a waiter explained it's the same juice as the one from the tap, when asked for a manager he said it was freshly squeezed this morning and brought to restaurant in some packaging - it did not tasted fresh. So I'm not sure how fresh is their tapas, as menu seems to be misleading. Fresh bit not fresh really.Would not recommend that place and I won't be going back.

Tipico spagnolo all'estero. Tapas discrete e prosciutto spagnolo fettato non bene. Prezzi troppo alti per la quantità servita. Vi danno un aperitivo ma è pranzo. Con 80 euro in due, vino incluso di medio bassa qualità, siamo andati via con una discreta fame. Ma al centro di Londra ci può stare!

Chose this as our place to have dinner our last night in London and was disappointed. The staff seemed lost? It was almost as if everyone working was new, menu looked amazing on paper but lacked flavour we had experienced elsewhere. Too bad!!

Mas Q Menos has the perfect location on Wardour Street and as a great fan of Tapas I couldnt resist the enticement. So sat at the bat and ordered my San Miguel and three tapas - the patas bravas, the warm jamon y quesos and the pollo ( chicken) brochetta with peppers.The service was slow ( and the place was quiet) but the patas bravas were very good. Double fried on the outside and soft on the inside and the sauce was good. the brochette though was poor - a mini ( almost microscopic) pepper at one end and chicken that was tender but tastleless. The Jamon y quesos was OK. I enjoyed the food and asked for the bill and was challenged by the waiter as to whether I had two or three drinks. When i said it was two and wasnt that on the bill he said he was just checking that I hadnt had an extra one. Its rather an odd approach to accuse your customer or having an extra drink whne you havent served them.This has lots going for it but the service needs a lift.

The food was not good quality, there was not much sea food, and to top it all I just noticed that there is a 10% service charge on the bill! IT IS NOT A LINE ITEM, it is slotted in at the end. So it is pretty much impossible to notice. I am contacting trading standards!

Visited with friends on Saturday for a pre-theatre lunch. The menu choice was excellent and we were definitely not disappointed. Could have stayed a bit longer and sampled some more.The best Iberico ham.Excelente. Gracias
