Had our child's Birthday party in the play area about 20 of them, it was fantastic, Vanessa was well organised, had good communication and the kids had a ball and didn’t want to leave. My older child had a fish and chips and he said it was yum and a very good portion.

Staff were excellent, food was nice, would advise booking table, which we did. Very busy tonight.

Hardly any staff (not there fault) only 1 taking food orders and also had to do the drinks. We ended up leaving with nothing due to the que, and it was going to be nearly an hour's wait for food.

Quiet midweek lunch. I had the Sizzling Tandoori Chicken with Basmati rice. It was very good, much better than I expected from this kind of place. Would definitely go again

Visited on Saturday 17 August 2024 5pm reservation for 4. No complaints on the food and the final bill which was more than good value. Could have been more counter staff(2). The salt in the salt shakers was very damp and we had taken 4 off other tables all the same, even removing the tops the salt has almost solidified around the opening, clearly they had not been cleaned for sometime nor replenished(tip: a few grains of dry rice helps prevent this). My elderly mum used the washroom facilities and stated that the floor below the hand drier was very wet, she uses a walking stick, so not ideal. I think the establishment needs a good spring clean, the shelves were dusty as were the lights. Bit disappointing as this was a treat for my mum, can't fault the food or portions or the staff.

Food either dried out or burnt. toilets filthy and couldn't use. Soft play area attached not much better. Won't recommend and deffo won't be back.

Waited a while to be served and waited an even longer time to be served our food ,we just had two main courses, food was tasteless and clearly vegetables were cooked from frozen because they were just mush and the fries were so overcooked they were brittle, for the first time ever I've left a restaurant hungry.

I was at my friends wee girls birthday party today at fuzzy Ed’s play area and the service was amazing, Vanessa went above and beyond to make sure her party was amazing, also the amount of floor she had to cover all on her own was very impressive. Give this girl a pay rise 👍🏼

Birthday lunch for my husband with the family. Great food and drinks. Very good value. Lots of choices and good sized portions.

We were happy to find this place as the Premier Inn we were staying at had closed its restaurant due to "staff sickness". Its a nice family-friendly pub. Its very reasonable for food and drinks. The service is fast. There is a children's play area. We had surf and turf and gammon steak. Both very nice. Great value.

I had my wee girls birthday party at Fuzzy Ed’s play area it was absolutely amazing. Vanessa honestly was such a lovely helpful happy soul so attentive to everyone there and all with a smile on her face. She definitely made the experience 100 times better. Thankyou so much Vanessa:)

You took enough money off us and left us no option to leave! Your attitude on everyone’s reviews is disgusting. And shows the type of “owner” you are. Need to leave a review to warn people Not to approach this place at all costs. Save your time and money. I booked a large party dinner 4 days in advanced. Made our food order 2 days in advanced (we were asked to do this) we arrived at 6pm the time the table was booked. A member of staff came to the table to clarify our order. We had 7 kids also and no drinks that wee previously ordered was provided and had to pay for extra drinks. 7:02 pm is when we received the starters still no mains or kids meals had been brought out. As anyone with kids could imagine it’s not easy keeping them entertained my 3 year old niece kept complaining how hungry she was and also all the other children. I approached a red head woman behind the bar to complain of the terrible service and that we made an order 2 DAYS prior - but the girl just proceeded to have a smirk on her face and would rather get in an argument with me as if the service was ok after an hour and a half waiting for food and kids meals. She had a full line of customers and still proceeded to argue it was our fault why the food wasn’t out in time cause people didn’t arrive at 6 when everyone arrived at just before 6pm. Regardless the order was made 2 days prior. The attitude from staff the delay on food. Clearly couldn’t cater for the big number we booked - but still insisted booking us in. It got to 7:40pm we all still hadn’t had our food including all the kids so we had to walk up and leave and go to KFC! Which I would like to thank for give us a good service. So staff attitude is terrible, not the cleanest of places either. Kids upset and starving and ruined my father’s birthday dinner. I will attach a photo of a steak I’ve seen before in this place and all I can say is thankfully KFC was right next door. AVOID at all cost. If the staff had been a bit more considerate then maybe it would have been helpful but the attitude on both the woman staff behind the bar was shocking. Todo that to kids also when we had so many shows the attitude of these woman and the type of place this is. So yes save your money and go else where.

Maybe different when ordering in restaurant but PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE ON UBER EATS!! (they take the mick). chips cold and stale - ordered mac and cheese that felt like it had been in the fridge for 2 hours before being delivered to us. Also mac and cheese portion wouldn't be enough to fill a mouse.

First time here and we will definitely be back again. Tasty food, amazing deals and a play area for kids! Definitely can't go wrong, something for everyone.

We we looking for somewhere close by for dinner and this came up on our Google search. The reviews/rating didn't fill me with joy if I'm honest. But we decided to give this place a try. We arrived around 6pm; 3 adults, one child. Place was moderately busy. Table was clean. Good choice of food, very reasonably priced. Food was tasty and decent potion sizes. The nicest thing about this place are the staff. The lady who served us our food was so lovely and friendly, great with the wee one. Service was excellent. Nice atmosphere, very child friendly - there is a soft play area at the back of the restaurant. My son didn't get to use it as it closed at 7 but given how much we enjoyed it here, we will absolutely be back! Thank you so much for a great experience 🌺

It was very quiet and closed around 9pm..... they allowed us to finish up. Staff friendly and helpful.

We took my little dog in as we have done in the past after ordering 3 meals one for dog as we done before paid sat down and about 10 minutes later I was approached and told we couldn't have sausage and mash for my dog. As you can imagine I wasn't very happy. I asked the server where is it advertised about the new rules and it was a company policy but when looking further the policy says it is up to the manager of said place which is fine but I look all over and there was no notice to say this. Was very disappointed no manager approached.... needless to won't be back

Great place for families it has a large indoor play area, great location and parking, always good deals on the play area or food and food is good value for what you get.

Went in today with family and got the new curry meal. It was lovely great wee bowl of fresh crunchy salad included and it was a massive portion for the price struggled to eat it all . No wonder we eat in here weekly.

For the first time in ages, we had been there the food was lovely nice and hot had a small wait for our food down side probably one of those times they where a staff shortage place nice and clean and staff where nice and polite will be going back sometime soon

Although the food and drinks are great value the toilets put me off going back. They are disgraceful the bowls are stained brown. The water looks filthy and every seat is falling off the hinges.

Has the potential to be good. Very dirty, lots of dust round the edges, rubbish outside of the netting ( tissues, dust, rubbish etc ), needs a really good deep clean. If it cant be kept clean & tidy which is standard procedure then the hygiene of the place won’t be up to scratch either. Lady on the desk sat on her phone whole time & seemed to not care. Security gate was lying open & it didn’t seem to bother her as she was more interested on her phone. When I asked for help she didn’t seem happy she had been disturbed while busy on her phone. Poor attitude.

It’s a nice relaxing day out my frail Dad enjoys going for his dinner. The staff don’t rush you to get the table emptied for next customer. It is a fare distance for me to come to the marmalade pot but it’s worth I most of all my dad loves his days out.

What a relaxed atmosphere, staff were friendly and went way beyond our expectation, food was amazing and as a family we did not feel rushed for service, we had to adapt our menu due to dietary requirements, both staff and chef had no issue, double checked to ensure our needs were met, will definitely be back...massive shout out to all the staff who were attentive and friendly....our family appreciate everything you did to accommodate us xxx thank you xxx

Visited the venue because we were attending a kids birthday party in Fuzzy Ed’s. The place looks good and the staff are all really nice and friendly, but the toilets were the worst I have ever been in, disgusting to be honest, gents, ladies, and the baby change.

Staff are so friendly and always remember our names and order. Food is amazing and portion sizes are perfect.

Food is lovely and service is quick have been many times before and has been consistent one of the best sizzling pubs in the local area!

Had my husband’s 60th birthday here on Saturday 13th April with 28 people there, the food was all served quickly, well presented and everyone enjoyed it. Have so say a huge thank you to all the staff there who couldn’t have done enough for us and made my husband’s night very enjoyable. Thank you so much 😊

Staff extremely friendly to the lady taking order to the lady clearing our table. Had to wait around 40 mins for our mains, think staff were pushed. My husbands dinner lacked chips, don't think they had enough to go around, portion very skimpy. However, food was tasty and nice and hot. Place was clean and well presented. I'd definitely return.

Came for lunch with my partner. Didn't get a good feeling when we walked in to be told could only eat at the bar section. Partner was told they couldn't make the Kebab Fries I had ordered. Never given a reason why. Opted for the Salt and Chilli Chicken Fries instead with a side of Onion Rings. They looked alright when they were served. Moved the bowl containing the rings, underneath the bowl lay a massive strand of hair. Whoever manages this place needs to take a look in the mirror. It's unacceptable and considering the hair was found underneath the bowl, it looks as if the bowl was placed deliberately to disguise it. Refunded the money which was the least they could do. I dread to think what goes in your kitchen. Judging from today, the impression is there are some staff members who don't give a toss what they serve or how to serve customers. I'll never go back again.

Absolutely appalling. Half our food was freezing and sent back for replacements. Most of our starters were missing and had to be asked for. When we ordered desserts we got all of them except for the kids ice creams which upset them loads I had to ask 5 times for these ice creams at which point the kids were in hysterics. Will not be back absolute shambles. Staff are a bloody joke as well.

Came in with husband and son a couple weeks back as a treat night before Baby comes out. I ordered a ribs and rump, husband got hunters chicken, son got veg fingers peas, tato tots. My 5oz was definitley not 5oz and likely had been cooked from frozen, 30% of it was fat so inedible. My chips were brilliant, peas were ice cold, and my peppercorn sauce arrived piping hot with ice in the middle so think their microwave was on the go. Husbands chicken was very dry however liked his sides. Son was happy with his veg fingers but tato tots were super greasy so he refused them and his peas also freezing cold. Desserts we got a waffle, a fudge cake and an ice cream for the little one, desserts were banging! Drinks wise got a capri sun, a coke and a rum & coke, £10 which is fair. 2nd round got one can of irn bru and a small can of red bull.... £6!! Place wasn't cleaned very well also as I had to report the toilets with how dirty they were from people purposely clogging them with tissue and we pre booked as I'm heavy pregnant so showing up standing for a half hour waiting to be told they didn't reserve a table and having to sit at a table that hadn't been cleaned yet wasn't really ideal. As for Abbies reply, there was 0 sign on the door and it was 30 minutes we stood waiting as you took forever serving drinks to the 3 other customers at the till in front of us. I would've mentioned the condition of food but nobody bothered to come check if the food was okay.

The cleanliness was terrible. Toilets were filthy and smelly in Fuzzy Ed’s soft play . Only one toilet roll. Only two toilets working in main ladies toilets the rest said out of order. Food was terrible too. The soft play was good but cleaning needs to be improved and much better quality of food. Chips seemed to have been cooked in old oil. Burger pretty much inedible poor quality. Kids chicken nuggets almost cremated. It’s a shame as it could be really good but for all these reasons we won’t be back.

Staff were great: food was hat and tasty: not the fanciest place I've been but good value for money. Only down was toilets were a but grotty.

Sizzling steak combo the plate wasn't even Sizzling rather dissatisfied with that. Onions and tomato were rather mushy well done.

Absolute shambles! Visited on the 3rd Jan for food, I had not pre-booked. Walked in and there were about 12 tables that had not been cleaned, place was relatively empty and a member of staff approached me and said pre bookings only! Alot of empty, unclean table's and no walk in customers welcome! Well done marmalade pot!

Food was alright but I already knew that. I chose here for our Christmas dinner because r the last time we had our Christmas dinner here, fuzzy eds play area was open. We though it was going to be the same but unfortunately it wasn't. So we will not be here again on Christmas day.

The meal was delicious X staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble making out Christmas family meal very enjoyable
