Superb location for the airport. Parking spaces were limited when I arrived but an event was taking place at the time in the hotel. Rooms a little tired but perfectly functional and comfy. Hypnos mattress was great. Stand out aspect was how friendly the staff all were and how helpful. The receptionist who greeted me was especially helpful. I'd stay again.

Stayed here before and after a long haul flight from Glasgow airport. Very pleasant staff, well priced and clean rooms. Only thing I would say is the decor of the rooms were a bit dated but it’s a hotel at the airport so don’t expect 5 star.

Shabby, no safe in room, dinner menu poor. First time back in a while. Reception staff friendly. Room nice & big. Food average. Burger ok but fish a bit iffy. Absolute cheek to add 10% service charge to bill for average food & cold resturant. Had it removed. Main issue is that the whole hotel is freezing. People sitting with coats & hats on in restaurant. Bars very cold. Spoke to staff several times re heating, no improvement. Will not be back here.

Just had breakfast in this hotel although good selection I have never seen the laziest set of staff 4 on duty 3 off dressed in black top and trousers the other all in grey who appeared to be the only member of staff actually working whilst the others stood in a group chatting and looking at phones whilst tables left uncleared good well do without them and get more like the only one working

Room was basic with a build up of dirt around overflow drain in bath. Reception staff were very polite however the manager refused to move my date after I booked wrong day even though they had availability and Booking.com also didn't have an issue to move the date. I would have payed an admin fee for the inconvenience to the hotel too. So I payed for two nights when only one could be used. Money wins over customer service.

It is a shame that they do not want to heat a baby bottle or a simple bottle of milk in the hotel bar, or even that they have a microwave at the service of customers. Her reason for not wanting to do it is because it could burn the baby.

Just don’t stay here if you want a good night sleep. Beds and pillows are as hard as concrete. The sheet doesn’t fit the bed and is full of holes. It feels like I’m laying on a slope and my body weeks like I need to go see a physiotherapist as I’m in agony all over even my ears. The pillows and duvet look about 20 years old under the duvet cover and pillow cases. As for the noise all night….people hanging around in the corridors talking and making noise outside room doors at 1 & 2am. I stays here years ago and it was the most comfortable bed I’d ever slept in but obviously thing have dramatically changed for the worse. Honestly don’t even give this a try u les you want a back, neck, shoulder, hip, knee problem even my sides hurt! Cleanliness of the bath room isn’t up to much either!

Check in was fine and quick..room was standard...went down to have an early bite to eat and service from Rachael was shockingly poor..matter of fact...as was the food ...had a burger for 17.50 pounds which was just warm with a few soggy chips...ordered a brownie at 8 pounds and couldn't finish it it was so tasteless...had to find my own condiments and cutlery...won't be spending 32 pounds here ever again.Wanted to print a boarding pass out and the complimentary computer wasn't working...smells of poor management.

Arrived late but was still able to get food and a drink. Breakfast was great. I love haggis only spotted on 2nd breakfast. My room was great. Staff lovely and help in anyway they can.....not the cheapest but worth it for me. I was able to get to Rah easily. Thank you x

Stayed here 2 days ago on return from holiday. Great location, room had everything you could need and a good breakfast. My Partner took ill the next morning and the staff were great. The Duty Manager, Barry, was extremely helpful and went above and beyond while we waited for an ambulance. Thanks everyone for making a very stressful situation a lot easier.

Stayed two nights during a business trip at the beginning of August. Great location for the airport bring just across the road from the terminal. The staff at the hotel were all great and accommodated every request I put to them. I only ate breakfast at the hotel so never tried the restaurant in the evening. Breakfast was really good, I'm vegetarian and there was plenty there for me, with hot food being replaced frequently so never running low and plenty of seating. The room itself was very tired looking and in desperate need of a refurb, but was clean and most importantly for me, really quiet. One big negative was the WiFi , barely able to connect within my room, and when I could get online it was painfully slow. There was a paid for faster option, but given the unreliability of the connection I wouldn't want to pay for it. WiFi always seems to be a problem in UK hotels compared to on the continent where you can virtually always get fast reliable and free connections. I ended using my phone for internet access. I will definitely use the hotel again next time I'm up, but it would be nice to see the rooms given some serious TLC and WiFi access improved.

Bug in the room with a no-signal TV. A door of the newly assigned room can be neither closed nor locked. Anyone next door has access to the newly assigned room. Poor quality control but very convenient to the airport

Nothing except the location is good about it...super convenient location.. but 1) Bad food, awful restaurant staff (felt like insensitive untrained interns) 2) Flush didnt work, basin didn't have soap working, phone didn't work I checked in at 7PM, booked 2 months in advance for a two night stay Simon at the reception proactively helped me fix my wifi issues thankfully otherwise the stay would have been worse.

Ideal if you have to fly early the next day as it is located directly at the airport. We got a very spacious suite for an additional CHF 50, which was nice - like a small apartment and we felt very comfortable. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and the food was fine and the staff was friendly.

We stayed here as our flight got in late. We had one room between 4 of us (2 adults/2 kids) and thought it was really good value for money. Beds were comfortable, room was the right temperature, room and fittings had been really well designed to fit everything you need. Can't complain. We later stayed in a luxury hotel on Isle of Arran and were really disappointed! We commented that we felt Holiday Inn Express was a much better experience!

Great location if one arrives late or departs early from Glasgow airport. Rooms tired and basic. Restaurant horrible. We were not given a table while they had tables which stayed empty for 2 hours and receptionist there extremely unkind. You can offer a different option being kind. The food arrived with huge delays, fish and chips not properly fried - batter was chewy, noodle option very greasy and tasteless. Ordered a raspberry sorbet and got some milky ripple. Generally very inadequate, slow and overpriced. Maybe it would be wiser to go for dinner at the terminal.

Had booked a single room as most economical and arrived to an upgrade for being a registered customer; thank you Holiday Inn. Comfortable well appointed room (even managed to adjust the room temperature) and quiet for sitting right at the airport terminal and not far from the motorway. Excellent staff, bar & restaurant service round off the deal.

The hotel is perfect if your flight arrives late at night, and you want to get to bed asap. Or if your flight leaves early in the morning. The hotel is just 2 minutes walk from the exit of the airport. The rooms are fine and comfortable, but the noise in the place from the cleaners while cleaning other rooms is quite annoying. Doors slamming shut all the time. It doesn't help when there is a heavy self closer on the doors. The hotel would need to take the time and sort the issue with the doors, it’s an easy fix.

Decent place. Great location. Room service is a joke though. If you want room service there's no menu in the room, and even if you know what you want, you have to leave your room, go to the bar downstairs, queue up, order, then go upstairs again. And they still add on a tray charge. Kind of ruins the point of it. I like Holiday Inn but this one lets them down.

Greatly improved with the investment / upgrades outdoors. Food has also seen big improvements. Can get really busy at times, which is a positive. Still tremendous potential for more though, but appreciate it costs ££££££. Give it a go.
