I’m really surprised by the other reviews here. Went here for lunch and had a burger and fries. The food came quickly and was delicious. The burger was one of the best I’ve had in a while - really tasty and juicy - and the fries were perfect. Looking forward to coming back!

Ordered 3 burgers through Deliveroo for delivery- 2 with no cheese. Ordered 3 fries with rosemary salt. All burgers turned up with cheese and only 2 portions of fries. Definitely not the best burgers, disappointing and as we dislike cheese in our burger’s, not very pleasant. Also, as have to pay for the fries separately, not impressed that the barely seasoned fries did not all turn up. Not worth £55!!! But because of the time, had to eat what arrived. Will not order again, or use Deliveroo.

Just Eat informed Marlowes that a driver was not collecting my order but failed to cancel the order on my end. This resulted in our food never being delivered.

Wrong order burger looks like it’s been smashed to pieces ,not what I ordered !!!!

Honestly the best burgers we have EVER had. We must have had dozens of burgers from these guys. Always the Maj and chicken tenders. Deserve 10 stars for consistency and downright delicious dirty burgers! Amazing addition to Sevenoaks!

Chicken tenders were delicious. Chips tasty and burger good too. Would highly recommend the chicken tenders, real chicken, juicy and tender.

Not what it used to be. Used to love this place but gone seriously downhill. Ordered lots of time for delivery, but the burger quality has gone down and always things missing

Dreadful delivery service. Ordered at 19:15 and finally delivered 2hrs later at 21:11, estimate was 19:55... kept moving back, no explanation. Food arrived cold.

The size of the burgers in the photo are a poor reflection on the actual burger size . It’s tiny in comparison. And as for the chips , they wouldn’t feed a kid ! And for the money you charge that is a joke !

Chips were cold when food arrived. Appreciate it’s a busy night. Order placed just after 5pm and it took one hour 45 mins to arrive

Really disappointed, ordered via Uber eats and it took 2 hours to arrive, and when it arrived the order was stone cold.

Ordered 1 hour in advance so there’s time for the delivery… turned out delivery came after 33 minutes

My food was 1h20 min late. The food was cold on arrival. Given I had paid over £50 for the meal, I am really angry.

Burgers to die for. Full bar Historic pub with the best burgers - simple menu - good sides/sauces. Take away hatch at rear. Pleasantly surprised.

Had a delivery from delierroo. Fast and efficient.. however £13 for Greasy thrown together burger 🍔...and nearly £ 9 for a few halloumi fries... Absolutely appalling£ 26 in total... wouldn't but from there again .... Appalling for the money 🤬😕

food arrived cold I know it’s a Friday but we are only a shot distance away from the restaurant.

I read the online reviews and decided to give it a go... I can happily confirm (twice in a row) that they make a very mean burger. I keep going for the MAJ with added bacon but between a group of friends we tried pretty much the entire burger menu and they're all incredible.

It used to be the absolute perfect burger back when the owner used to make them himself out of a container just behind the Otford mcdonalds. Since they have moved into the Chequers pub, the quality has clearly dropped slightly, and hence slightly bit overpriced too. Shame as I used to love these Burgers. Some of the staff working in that pub haven't really got a clue what to recommend and the chicken tenders were terribly dry and tasted like the ones out of Costco. The Maj burger is still the best to go for.

We ordered food for collection. There’s a handy little pickup window at the back of the pub so you can avoid the lines when it’s really busy. Great food though! Really meaty burgers with fresh ingredients. And the Parmesan fries are awesome - super tasty. Glad we found this place. We’ll definitely be back

Lovely historic pub. Great atmosphere. The beef burger was delicious and so was the sweet potato fries. The staff were excellent.

This place doesn't deserve this low review... I had take aways many times and even ate at the pub, both were really nice! We already ordered many times and will do so in the future as well, one of our family's fav. Excellent and rich flavours, sooo yummy. Big portions, fair price. One of the best rosemary salt fries around. Love their special Marlowe smokey sauce as well! Extra credit for the packaging, it is stylish (but maybe they should cover the fries with something, they bounced all out, which is totally fine with me, but can be a trigger for someone) 💚Vegatarian options available. I am really pleased with their juicy MovingMountains burger. They don't do vegan cheese, which could be a nice little top up without much of a fuss, but I understand that not everyone wants to do that, and that is totally okay, 5 stars anyway!

Overcooked and overpriced sad travesty of a burger! £10.50 for a 6oz burger wrapped in cheap foil on a burnt bun. Pay extra if you want overcooked chips to complete the experience!

We have ordered from this restaurant through Deliveroo, which we never received. Their driver had the audacity to lie and say delivery and contact by phone has been attempted. This is simply not true. Please don't order from this place- you will obit be disappointed

Visited bromley restaurant today with my family. Server 'Ella' couldn't have been more miserable and unwelcoming. Other waitress Georgia was pleasant. Food was bland. It's an overpriced rip off of McDonald's. Quite shocked many people recommend the food. A waste of £52!!!

Banging burgers! We had our first Marlowes experience last night and it was outstanding! Between us we tasted the Yeah Lovely, the Maj and the cheeseburger with extra toppings together with skin on fries with rosemary salt. All were excellent but unexpected star of the show was the awesome cheese dunking sauce! We chose this on the strength of the mouthwatering insta video, mostly thinking to dip our chips in it, however the taste explosion of deliciousness of a dunked burger was so amazing the chips barely got a look in- moral of the story is obviously to buy two pots of cheese dunking sauce!! Already anticipating the next special occasion so we can Marlowe again!!
