Mario's Pizza in North West Leicestershire

Delivered pizza was completely wrong AND stone cold. Classic combo of yet another once great takeaway option. Just avoid at all costs.

Ordered via the website at 7.35 on a Friday evening, estimated delivery time 30-45 mins. After waiting & calling a couple of times to be told the order was on the way it finally arrived at 9.20. The food that arrived was not what we ordered and was burnt to the point of being inedible. Called back to request that the food be collected and requested a refund, they didn’t come back & then stopped answering the phone. Awful service, don’t waste your money.

I think Mario's has much improved since the last reviews in 2019. We have had several pizza's from Mario's Pizza this year and they have all been lovely. We have a hot dog stuffed crust and it is delicious. Toppings are generous and good quality. We wouldn't keep going back if they weren't good.

Where to begin, ordered through just eat, took a good while for the food to arrive, when it did there was all sorts of hidden charges, delivery, service etc. which hadn't been explained on the app. They dropped off the pizzas and left as quickly as possible, we quickly realised they hadn't delivered the chips and cheese so called up, we were told that it was an accident and they would give us 2 portions to make up for it when they had a minute but that they were busy and he refused to give a time, followed by them immediately hanging up. Then the driver called me and said that I hadn't ordered chips with cheese, when I read him the receipt he accused me of lying about the food and that he had delivered it. No food ever arrived after the pizza. Very disappointed with the service and incomplete order. Pizzas were average at best.

Wow, unfortunately this app made me have to give a star just to leave a review. One more star than it deserves Pizza tastes like watery tomato juice from the bottom of a bin. Bread has absolutely no taste. Ordered chips and cheese, didn't put cheese on. These creatures can't even get 2 ingredients right. Avoid and eat some road kill, it's cheaper.

We have ordered 3 times from Marios and every time there is something missing, to make it worse when we phone to enquire the man on the phone argues that it is not missing making us out to be liars!

Pizza was ok, standard stuff but not terrible. Bloke behind the counter was one of the rudest persons I've ever ordered pizza from! Order online instead.

went to have a takeaway pizza and had a chicken and a pepperoni the chicken was eaten by my friend but I had the pepperoni I was violently sick all night and felt very poorly the following day. Needless to say I won't be going back

Ordered a delivery and after turning up 2 hours late they gave me the wrong meal. I ordered 3 piece chicken, 6 bbq chicken wings and a chicken burger meal with salad and mayo. There was no salad or mayo on the burger and no bbq on the wings. Further more the chicken pieces were mainly bone, cold and extremely dry. I would not recommend this place to a friend, or even an enemy.

Normally, my family and I order from here as they always do fresh and great tasting pizza. Forget Dominoes. The pizza is spot on. No greasy in the slightest with soft and fluffy bread. However every time we order from here, they seem to get our orders wrong in someway. Certain pizzas aren't done correctly or missing which is disappointing. Good place in Coalville if you want a well cooked and prepared pizza but be warned if you don't get the thing you ordered...

Have used marios for a very long time but when I takes over a hour for food to arrive cold and not fresh I shall take my custom elsewhere. Or maybe it is just eat and I shall try going direct!!

Food is nice. They usually arrive 10 mins or so after expected time though, but nothing major. And one of the menu items is wrong. But over all a very good take away. Used them a few times now.

The delivery was earlier than expected. I've ordered here a few times before and the food is so yummy, this is my favorite pizza place now.

I have not long had my food delivered and I loved it! Best pizza I have ever eaten and came before the time they estimated so was very quick! Will have from here again :)

Very tasty pizzas, good chips (portion size not huge- would have eaten more between us as they were good!) lovely onion rings (and I'm fussy about them!) with a nice sweet chilli dip. Only thing I'd want different is that we ordered thin base- although it was thinner than the average deep pan I would have preferred it to be a proper thin crust. Would order again anyway because of how tasty they were- but would love it even more if an extra thin base was an option!

I always enjoy the food from Mario's and this is the only time I've ever had an issue, the can of coke I ordered was forgotten about wasn't delivered too me I called up and I received an apology and the driver returned with two cans for me which was very much appreciated! Great customer service! I definitely recommend Mario's!

First time I ever ordered and I'll def order again. The pizzas were on the small size but they were really tasty.

Ordered 4 thin base pizzas for 8pm, got 4 deep pan pizzas at 6.50.

Only complaint is they forgot some of my order.

Nice pizzas but offers are too complicated. Chip portions are very small also.

Unfortunately they didn't deliver to us. When we called to query the order when it was 30 minutes late and again 30 minutes later we were shouted at, told it was out for delivery and 2 minutes away, it was a new driver who couldn't find us and that they had called to ask where we were. Sadly an outrageous lie and certainly no way to run a business.

Was hungry, fancied pizza but not at Domino prices. Very nice pizza as my first order with Mario. Will try again sometime.
