Lovely man, lovely pizzas. We've ordered there loads of times and love their vegetarian pizza. Always hot and fresh . The meat eaters amongst us also liked the pepperoni ones

Utterly delicious pizza - so fresh and tasty - and lovely staff!!

Lovely pizza place, not ordered from here for a long time until now and it will definitely be my pizza go to from now on! The pizza was really tasty with plenty of toppings, had garlic bread too with I nice little side salad included. Value for money is fantastic compared to other places.

pizza was grim, the base was like cardboard, I'm sure it was a pre cooked base instead of cooking from fresh, if not something went seriously wrong as it was seriously poor quality pizza, won't be ordering from here again

My Son was keen to try here after hearing good things from his school friends. Ordered online to collect. The place is time warped in the 1980’s or 1990’s inside, but that also extends to the prices. It’s very reasonable compared to other places nearby. The owner who serves you, as others mention, is a real character and reason enough for me to want to buy from him again. I tried a deep pan pizza and wasn’t impressed, but my son had a thin base and that was very good, as was my daughter’s tagliatelle Carbonara.

Super quick delivery. Pizza was ok for the price. Very doughy and cheesy if you're into that sort of thing. Pepperoni wasn't the best. I probably wouldn't order from them again, but that's more pizza type preferences than it being necessarily a bad pizza.

Take away pizzas. Bland and overcooked tough dough, practically inedible. Just really bad pizzas. People in the restaurant were pleasant but the food just really wasn't good.

Back to basic pizzas, outstanding dough, creamy cheese, very tasty toppings, great prices, definitely my pizza place to order from!!!

Pizza is the best, better than domino's by a mile! The man who makes the pizza is very polite and generous with the toppings. 100% worth the money.

First time ordering from here and I thought it was value for money, plenty of topping, cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend. Definitely would order again :)

This was literally the worst pizza I have ever been served. No exaggeration!

Takeaway of course...Amazed that this tiny place still provides quality fresh pizzas at a very reasonable price. Who needs Domino's or frozen from Tesco ? Deep dish pizza, especially the Mexican and the Pepperoni, are our favourites. Friendly chefs and never an error in the order. Pity my waistline can't manage pizza every week.

I love this place. The food is second to none, extremely good value for money (large pizza £7.50) and the guy who runs it is super sweet. I can't recommend it enough - it ticks all the boxes for me PLUS IT'S A LOCAL BUSINESS. None of this multinational, American exploitative stuff. Local guy earning an honest living and bringing the best food for low prices.

We've been ordering here for years and the food is always fresh, delicious and great value for money. It's our absolute go-to whenever we want takeaway pizza. Nothing around here comes close.

Pizzas are absoloutley delicious here, we really do not need a Dominos in Ashby-De-La-Zouch because all their pizzas do is give you gas! With La Spezia Pizzeria's pizzas, not only are they absoloutley delicious but they also satsify your hunger very well and don't leave your stomach feeling weird like Domino's dodgy dough does!

We order a pizza delivery quite often through out the yr and always order from here. Really really good pizza, arrives fresh and hot and delivered always by extremely polite people. Also the best prices including delivery.

I ordered pepperoni pizza and it came with mushrooms and peppers and onions. I did not realise this when I ordered it as I didn’t look at the menu properly. If you click on deals it does not display the ingredients of the pizzas so make sure you look at the pizza ingredients first. The owner is so lovely and made me two new pizzas without the extras. Amazing service and we are so happy with the quality of the pizzas and service. We will be back! All the best, Em and Sean

Most awful pizza we've had, dont know what the base is but it aint pizza dough. It was a cross between bread and stale cake. All the toppings are buried under thick gloopy cheese so wasnt sure whose was whose. Will never order from here again. Also ordered the cheese cake which was frozen when it arrived.

It's not often i visit Ashby but when I do I always walk past this little gem and tonight I was craving pizza and decided to give it a go and boy am I glad I did. I'm the person who puts a silly amount of toppings on but this time I stuck to the basics. Chicken, Mushroom and Cheese. Golly gosh, talk about melt in your mouth flavour. The 10" size was well and truly enough to fill me, even so that I have leftovers for tomorrow. (woo hoo!) Looking forward to trying a few more pizzas from the menu. P.S the owner was so lovely too which made the experience that much better. Will definitely be back!

Pizzas are sometimes nice,sometimes burnt,quality has varied with every order. Can’t actually read the type of pizza on box,so have to actually look at it,like to support a local business,but never know what quality of pizza we are getting,as it varies with every order we’ve had.

We had tagliatelle carbonara from La Spezia this evening. It was absolutely top notch - not smothered in generic white sauce, but the pasta beautifully coated. Lovely mushrooms and ham. Delicious! Pizza tasted pretty bad and had a strange smell to it too, was really tough so it went in the bin after 1 slice

The best pizza I have had in years. Only disappointing thing is this is the second time the side salad for the wings has had brown lettuce worth checking this before this is sent out.

Don't bother with the onion rings or any sides... they're literally bought from coop over the road... pizzas are meh.. their homemade ground beef is god knows.. not even sure it's beef

The service is quick and easy nothing wrong with your food i order from La Spezia Pizzeria once every week or twice a week if i can afford it but once is enough for me

Really disappointed with this tonight, the base tasted like it was bought in frozen and not fresh like I remember they used to be. The mozzarella dippers were tiny and slightly burnt so didn’t taste great. Most likely won’t order from here again

Lovely pizza really tasty and seems they use better quality ingredients than other pizza places I have used, delivery was really quick and the pizza was nice and hot, would highly recommend, the price was great too 5* will definitely use again (only downside is it says they shut at 9.30 so quite early for a weekend)

Pizza tasted strongly of the vinegar from jalapeños and one of the extra pizza toppings I paid for, was missing. Not a favourite.

Quick delivery, very friendly service and lovely fresh food

I ordered two identical pizzas (except one had an extra topping). The pizzas were completely different. The chicken was clearly left off one and put on after it had been cooked. If you’ve not done it right - don’t cut corners just give people what they order. Food was otherwise tasty. Disappointed with the quality though.

Good tasting pizzas, have had them occasionally for many years, will use again when I next feel the need for a pizza!

Food was not to my expectations very poor measly amount of salad and coleslaw for the money I paid lasagna was just not nice jacket potato wasn’t cooked through hard and very unpleasant

I can honestly say this was the worst take away pizza I have ever had. Totally tasteless. Not enough cheese or tomato sauce. Pizza seemed almost wet and soggy. Gross. Will never order from here again. Money down the drain!
