Food was lovely, the staff were welcoming, the one and only thing that let it down was the gravy was so thin and flavourless. I emphasise that the rest of the food was 10/10 but do avoid that gravy

Placed order about 9.40pm delivery was within half an hour would rather have waited an extra 10/20 mins so food was properly cooked! Chips were under cooked, 10 inch pizza didn’t look nice at all the base was uneven thick at one side thin at the other also under cooked! It had a horrible smell from the cheap brown box it had came in (not a pizza box) we have had this order a few times and always been good very disappointing feel like because it was the end of the night it was rushed and just about getting a quick £30!!

One item was missing. After phoning the restaurant it was delivered, albeit a lot later than the rest of the order.

I got a chicken kebab and some of my chicken was pink and one but tasted not nice so I did eat it at all .

Received a 16 inch pizza, when I opened the box the cheese and the topping had slid off the pizza and were lying in the box separate to the base, waited a further hour to receive another pizza because they were busy…

Food is absolutely shocking! Everything was freezing cold when they arrived. Margarita pizza had a strange taste to the sauce and what you get for paying £4.50 for a single smoked sausage is ridiculous! I’d have been better off putting stuff in the air fryer or oven!! Not worth the money we paid. Won’t be ordering from here again.

We’re my refund from kfc order still not got it I’ve cctv cams to prove I never got it I still order from you but feel I’ve been bumped I’m a good customer ready to go to my bank then won’t use you again

The food quality went down, the price gone up. Last time I ordered calzone it came with sauces, salad and in a tidy bag. Today it came soggy, no salad or sauces and as the box that the bag was torn at the bottom due to amount of fat streaming from inside it was just looking line nobody cared. I think I'll stick to my previous restaurants. Many thanks.

Amazing! I tried some calzones in Edinburgh and the one from here was the best ever. The dough was crusty, yet very soft inside. THe meat well prepared and from the grill. The tomato sauce just very tasty as well. A salad was very fresh and crispy. Delivery promt and food was hot. Even the packaging looked amazing which is something I'd not expect. Definitively my number one from now on. Much appreciated.

Ordered from here often however ordered a 16in pepperoni pizza and once arrived noticed the order was wrong. Phoned and waited over 45mins for the next order to arrive with also having to hand back the other pizza. Very disappointed this time unfortunately.

Never had a bad meal from Mario’s, everything is always a 5 star standard and enjoy every meal we order from here!! Food is always hot, amazing portions and no grease at all no matter what you order!! We love a order from Mario’s!!

For me and my mum Mario's is the best chippy in Midlothain, we love the baked potatoes and the portion sizes are always great!

Worst pizza ever. Chicken pakora was like rubber, more batter than chicken! Sausage was tough and chewy and staff are rude. Especially the older woman. Will go back to Dino's next time!

My partner was in last night ordering a pizza, as an additional topping was donner meat... to be charged an extra £5, asked staff if this was correct, to get a nippy response ( not the first time by this particular member of staff) all in all £15 later for a rotten under cooked pizza and pile of donner meat smothered in chilli sauce, not to mention... the attitude of that member of staff chucked in for good measure.... bin it went

Food was hot and very tasty. Only criticism was there was no option to have salt and or sauce on the orders.

Credit where credits due asked them not to over cook the meat as i prefer not well done meat they cooked it to perfection, donner meat spot on as well they get pelters when it no so good but I can't fault them tonight everything was spot of salad very fresh staff on phone well nice fair play well done 😀 👍

Well what can I say apart from Outstanding..... Visiting my family in Roslin so we decided to have a chippy for dinner. My daughter recommended Mario's at loanhead. We ordered on their app and they gave us a pick up time for twenty minutes later. We always pick up as I am not a fan of delivery. Food was ready for our time given Got home and food was piping hot and truly delicious. We will be back......

Really big portions, fantastic price, wish there had been salt and vinegar on the fish supper but I get that not everyone would want that and I really liked that they included a vinegary sauce inside a pot for you to add yourself. Batter was nice consistency, not too much of it and not overly crispy. The meal came very early and the driver was friendly, I would definitely recommend Mario's to everyone :) Thank you Mario's!

completely went down hill over the last year, just ordered a mixed kebab, the doner meat could of been passed for some cat meat. I will not be back!

Typical issue with delivery drivers collecting too many orders meaning it’s out for delivery for too long and arrives cold. Had to re-hear everything and this is not the fault of the restaurant as it was collected circa 40 mins prior to delivery. Quickly going off ordering takeaways generally. Food was tasty once it was warm so credit goes to the restaurant. Saying whether the food was late or not when you’re given a forecasted time which is way after the time is collected does not mean it’s on time. I’m therefore saying it’s late. Because it’s cold!

Pizza arrived stone cold, after 2 hours spoke to 3 separate people on the phone, eventually they resent a new one which arrived 45 mins later. Pizza that finally arrived wasn’t too bad.

OK but for the money the chicken n beef was tough and I expected the actual donner to be in a wrap and not on mild garlic bread.
