Cafe is very cheap a cheerful staff unfriendly cold in cafe. Had tea very cheap teabags and a roll very bland. I wouldn't return.

I was lucky to come across this place as I was walking along Mare Street and looking for a proper lunch but I could not see anywhere until just off Mare Street I found this cafe. They have a large menu of breakfasts, jacket potatoes, main meals - I chose a cheese and mushroom omelette which was very nice quality and served with a good portion of chips and beans for a reasonable £5.50 and a mug of tea for just 90 pence. A great cafe.

This is one of the last old school East End pubs around in Shoreditch. Has proper old London vibes. Hasn't been modernised like most around Curtain Road. Banksy mural close by. It's the perfect area to pay a visit for a night out and see a bit of the old and new East End!
