I have ordered a Chicken biryani but received chicken curry mixed with white rice. They just blamed the chef when we questioned it and didn't do anything about it. The waiters were not very nice too. They messed up our drinks order too. When asked for a missing drink they just brought it and slammed it on the table and no apology.

Excellent service excellent food and atmosphere will definitely be back again!

Used to love this place but I found a hair in my breakfast, so unfortunately it’s put me off ever coming back to eat the grande fried breakfast service has gone down hill.

This place has gone down than it was before covid.

Came here today with my mate. We got burgers and dessert and the food was delicious different style burger compared to what i normally have. Wasn’t disappointed at all. Expensive but worth it also staff are kind and good customer service

We came for lunch on a Sunday quite early and ordered one Chicken Shawarma, x 4 Sweet Potato Fries, Cookie Dough Bonanza and Kunefe. 5mins later the waiter says don't have any of the desserts we asked for or the Chicken Shawarma so we said we'll take 4 drinks and fries, another 5mins later a different waitress came to inform us they didn't have any sweet potato fries, eventually we cancelled all the food as they couldn't give us what we originally came for to order. We drank our drinks in an empty restaurant (I wonder why) and the floors were sticky on the way to the restroom. This place used to be great hence why we came today only be let down by the low standards that have befallen this place. They could of got the sweet potato fries from Home Bargain next door, it would be understanable if it was near closing time. Did the cook not inform the waiter/waitresses what wasn't available to order beforehand? Just made them look clueless

Chef was rude aggressive and dismissive of his incompetence. Order taken payment made time of delivery notified 30 mins later order cancelled as chef failed to notify Uber eats not to push orders through. An absolute joke!

Amazing family friendly restaurant. Went today with the kids and the food was excellent. We ordered dynamite prawns pizza and burgers, and everything was spot on. Never had a bad meal there

I ordered the cowboy steak and it tasted very bad I had a diarrhea after the food, so if you planning to eat at this restaurant make sure you don’t have anything else to do afterward. And its very expensive for the food quality that they deliver. Definitely not worth it

Delicious burgers, pizzas and samosa chats

I wasn't expecting much due to odd location (next door to Home Bargains). But I was pleasantly surprised it was nicer inside than I'd have imagined. We were a party of 9. Drinks were brought in old fashioned coke glass bottles which I loved. I ordered the chicken tillage on a skewer with salad rice and fries. The portion was generous and it was tasty fresh and great value for money. I didn't order a dessert as so full from the mains. I'd book again

Came on Saturday with a family friend, we were seated quickly and when we asked if we could move from a booth to a window seat the waitress assured us it'd be okay as long as we're happy with the seating. When ordering the waitress gave us the recommendation of Lamb Kharai with the option of naan or biryani rice, sadly no roti😞. However the garlic naan and flavourful biryani rice made up for the lack of. The kharai itsself was flavourful and you could feel and taste the time and effort that went into the dish. After we finished our mains we opted to have the Desi Chai, unsure of where they got the recipe but she made it beautifully. As we were leaving we stopped by the open kitchen and spoke to the chef who made our dish, we explained it tasted authentic and something our mum's would make at home!! Good job to both chefs and serving staff.

The worst food I could have had. Ordered the steak, got lamb chops that were full of fat. Didn’t eat the food and left within a few minutes of the food arriving. There was a young girl serving, who looked like she could not be bothered being there. When paying I told her we didn’t eat the food and addressed the issues to which she replied ‘okay’ - quite frankly she didn’t care and to be honest I don’t think I will be visiting again.

Bit of a sad grotty looking establishment I’ve got to be honest. Sat us down right in the gloomiest spot possible had to ask to move thought it would be ok since the place was empty. Anyways when it came to ordering they only had two items available not sure how this place is even still going bit laughable for a busy Saturday to not only have two items from you menu available. Went to Fino Tapas instead and had an amazing time the food was fantastic!

Amazing cowboy steak.. Cooked perfectly.. Medium.. pizza was also amazing.. Brilliant service.. I've been a few times and it's a good local steak near to me.. Never been let down.

Had wings and a stack. The wings were great but maybe increase to 4 rather than just 3 for that price. The stack was the best I’ve head in a long time. Cooked perfectly, the meat was juicy, fresh and the seasoning was just right. Excellent. Definitely will be going back.

Came here the other day with a colleague, order consisted of tear and share, blazing skewers and samosa chaat starters, mains consisted of a succulent grilled chicken filet with a flavorsome peppercorn sauce and crispy yet soft fries. My colleague ventured out towards the Asian section as it's something hes never had at a restaurant, the waitress who served us recommended the Lamb Kharai with Naan and rice. It was a recommendation that soon became a quick favourite, you could taste the spices individually and they all blended nicely 😎, the Lamb was cooked to perfection making it a tender and more juicy part of the meal which he loved, one thing to note is the Lamb did come on the bone so if your not a fan of that maybe it wouldn't be the dish for you. The service from the waitress's was good, we could see they were busy but they always made sure we were okay and had everything we needed. Honestly couldn't rate this ace enough 10/10.

Absolutely terrible. Got the karai lamb with nan. The nan was fine but the curry was something you'd find in a back alley. Five pieces of bones, apparently neck meat. The tear and share was fine but nothing to shout about. We eat out several times a month and this has got to be one of the worst places I've been to, and I've been to some god forsaken places.

Food was all burnt and tough to eat!

This place becomes an addiction. Delicious food, excellent service and amazingly friendly staff. I can get good food in many places. But, not so many places has as great staff as here. Congratulations to the owner and manager for this team.

Been there on Thursday night , absolutely fantastic. Food was spot on , cooked to perfection . Kids loved pizzas , mix grill was yumilicious .. deffo will go back

My recent visit to Marco and Carl left me feeling underwhelmed. Having been there years ago, I noticed a significant drop in the overall experience. The food was neither nice nor special, lacking the quality or standout flavors I had hoped for. What was most disappointing was the lack of atmosphere, as the place was nearly empty, giving it a rather dull and lifeless ambiance. It's unfortunate to see this decline in what used to be a more vibrant and enjoyable establishment.

I believe this is the original branch, but it's no where near as good as the one that closed down in Bradford. We travelled all the way to Preston from Bradford because my daughter loves the Chicken Espetada. Cleanliness was lacking (current food hygiene rating of 3), plates chipped and there was no atmosphere. The food was ok but not better than Bradford. O, I wish this place hadn't closed down 😞 The staff did try to provide good service on the day, bless them. And, there was the added surprise of tax added to the bill at the end, so the menu prices are apparently excluding tax!.. perhaps I missed the part of the menu where this was explained. Sadly, we won't be visiting again 😢

God what a terrible place. We got served meat that was really really hard and chewy to eat and when we asked for it to be taken back because it was inedible, the server was really rude and refused to acknowledge a mistake! The manager came and refused to accept that the meat was overcooked and not possible to eat and was really hostile, even coming up too close to me! Would not come here again

Very disappointed. Came for breakfast and got told breakfast has finished so we said that’s fine we’ll have lunch then. Got told lunch starts at 1pm so we couldn’t do anything (at 12:15pm). Once we left from the car, we saw the waitress taking orders from people who had just sat down so I don’t know what difference a table of 2 would have made to her life. Very bad service, hugely disappointed. I don’t know wether these rules are from the top or the waitress but terrible either way.

The food was atrocious. Old chicken that was simply reheated. The chicken had the taste of when you cook it and then reheat it the next day - dry and horrid.

The taste was just awesome here...I loved it and will definitely come again Ordered Chicken burger and samosa chat both were yum..🤤🤤

Service and atmosphere excellent food not so much

Came in over the weekend with one of my clients I support. Food was ten out of ten. All the staff were really friendly. Shout out to Sian as she really looked after us and made sure my client felt comfortable and not rushed. Food did take some time as it was busy but didn’t matter as the quality was amazing when it did arrive. Must try they tear and share bread it’s amazing 😻

Terrible Nearly 2 hours we were waiting for food and we cancelled they were happy that we cancelled. 2 chefs and 2 waiters for 40 people Don’t recommend at all

I usually don't write reviews, but I've just got back from having an impromptu meal out with family and felt compelled to leave an honest review. After a brief wait, I got attended to by a very pleasant and polite waitress. She apologised for the delay and took us to the table. I was ordering food, but then the usual drama with kids being fussy began. I spoke with the waitress, and she was happy to make a small change to the order at discretion and gave me the flexibility. When the food came, it was amazing. The pizza dough was fresh, crispy, and tasty. The base tomato sauce was rich and tasty, unlike that red acid in most places. You could taste all individual ingredients, and collectively, they were simply delicious. The pasta was something else. The basil in the pesto wasn't overpowering. The creamy sauce and mushrooms were cut through by spicy (I think pickled) chillies. The best part was that the pasta was still al dente, and the parmesan garnish did indeed top it all off. Even the garlic bread was delicious. Now I hope this isn't a singular event and I have the same experience next time - yes there will be a next time very soon. And even if it was, it is going to stay with me as a pleasant memory that I shared with my family for a while. Thank you to Marco and Carl team.

Great service and food. Prayer rooms are also available and great for the family. Plenty of free parking outside which makes it convenient to visit.

Order took a while to arrive but the staff were great and the food was delicious too with generous portions!

Some of the best stone baked pizzas you can have in Preston! Especially the Mumbai Chicken. Their other dishes are also good. Customer service is also very good. Although a bit on the pricey side.

I visited this warm and welcoming restaurant with my family recently. The food is first class and is served hot , don’t have to wait long . Clean and tidy place ,great ambience and helpful attentive staff . I recommend this restaurant.

So me and my family visited yesterday and let's say we have alot to say!!! We found the waitress super rude, she very angrily told my 2 year old to stop throwing the coloring pencils on the floor because she has to clean it up. At first me and my husband didnt know if she was joking or serious, but she kept at it telling my kid off. Firstly who gave you the right to speak to her at all and so rudly. Secondly we don't expect ANYONE TO PICK UP AFTER OUR CHILD so please check yourself before you start disrespecting my daughter. She might only be 2 but you don't get to raise your voice or say anything that will make her think shes done something rong. She's being a child, let her be!! The water glasses were very dirty, we asked her 3 times to give us new ones and obviously she wasn't happy we kept asking ( no surprise there) and even then absolutely nasty. Beef burger was rubbery and so dry it definitely wasnt fresh, chef must have taken it out of freezer and warmed it up. Literally the biggest waste of time and money, could have gotten better food at a local takeaway. I wouldn't ever return or recommend it . It's no wonder it was empty.

We came one new years ever. The food was just as good as the last time we came. Tonight we did have to wait for the food but that was expected as it was busy in the restaurant. We tried the Asian style dishes this time. They where all packed with flavor and could tell had been freshly cooked. All the staff where lovely but shout out to Marcus for looking after us all and recommending the food. 10/10

Expensive also we order burgers and burgers was over cooked little potion of prawn £10 most of mocktail was out of order. I went with family to enjoy the mea. Bit of disappointment this time .

How anyone can give this place anything less than 5*, I do not know! We have previously visited prior to Covid (approx 2 and a half years ago) and loved it then but it’s even better now! After seeing some more recent reviews, I thought the standards may have slipped but the food and service was absolutely spot on. The staff were really helpful and had great recommendations. The menu was varied enough to suit even the pickiest of eaters. So glad the blazing skewers and tear and share bread are still on the menu - they’re the main reason we always come back! The mixed grill was also delicious! We will be back :)

Good food. I had prawn starter and blazing crumbed chicken burger. The burger was great.

Went for breakfast with family and had egg bhurji. This contained masala scrambled egg, spicy chickpeas, masala kheema, parathad and mango pulp. Excellent taste of all items and filling! Also had the masala chai - this went very well with the desi breakfast. Overall, highly recommend this restaurant.

Visited over the weekend. Ordered a vitiaty of dishes. All presented well and tasted amazing. Friendly service from all the staff but a special thank you to the manager for taking the time to talk us through the menu and answer all out questions. Will be visiting again soon!

Yummy tandoori and dum biryani

Last time a came here was in 2015 from Birmingham and the food and service was 110%. Last night I returned after 7 years (purely for Carl's Secret Sauce Wings.... I have fallen in love with the sauce 👍👍😂😂) and I was not disappointed. Food was brilliant and service was fantastic. Worth every penny. The young lady that served us was polite and always had a smile on her face and Marcus was a absolute gentleman. Next time I'm in Blackburn visiting family, I will be back. DON'T TAKE CARL'S SECRET SAUCE WINGS OFF THE MENU. Tops Marks 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

I went to this place with family on way home through Preston Wanted to visit the Bradford branch but it closed before I could Firstly the staff girl with glasses and lady with scarf both had good customer service skills On to the food Starters were wing platter (good) tear and share bread (good) dynamite prawn at about £9 for only 5 (not worth it tbh) Mains got a few burger (beef burger was very dry on inside) chicken was over cooked imo Pizza was really good, mix grill at £15.95 for only 2 chops 2 wings 2 chicken breast piece plus a very small amount of chips ( daily light robbery) I was quite disappointed with it tbh Also mains took approx 25 mins to come after starters (it wasn’t that busy aswell) Mocktail we’re virgin mojito (good) and tropical science (don’t know how I felt about it tbh) Overall I feel this place has good food but the price doesn’t go hand in hand with quantity and (quality in some areas) Hopefully they take feedback on board Don’t know if I would be visiting again tbh

First time coming to this place. I would come back. The tear and share bread was so delicious, so was the chilli chicken with noodles. The only let down was the loaded fries, I wasn’t a fan of the sauce used. Also the mocktails were not mocktails, more like slush texture. Cookie dough was amazing! Overall good food, just down to personal preference of the loaded fries.

Excellent food, it is genuine 4 stars and worth it…. Chicken wings, samosa chaat, burgers, pizza, calzone, chicken grills, & Tomahawk steak… we’re all excellent. Quality of ingredients is very good. The only criticism is that flavours of some items could be improved. That said I’ll happily visit again. Take care guys and God bless.

We came tonight for the second time. When arrived we was seated straight away. We ordered our food from nabellah. Starters came quick. We got tear and share, samosa chat and blazing skewers. All tasted amazing (tear share is by far the best). The mains did take a while to come but didn’t mind as was busy. All the mains where presented well. We had tikka esptada, chillie chicken noodles, mambi pizza and blazing crumb. We didn’t enjoy the esptada and the chille chicken was too sweet for us. But still we enjoyed the most of it. Service 8/10 food 9/10

We was reccomended this place from a friend, first we came here and the food came out and the chilli chicken basket only had sauce in it with 3 chicken pieces, it didn’t come out in a basket btw neither as it states. But still we didn’t mind. Then the mains came out after an hour and the chicken was over cooked, tasted like rubber, I asked them to make the steak medium/well done they made it well done and all I could taste was fat. The rice LITERALLY tasted like uncle bens. The daiquiri came out half full. The mash was powdered. The salad looked brown which was evident it had been there for days. I was sick to my stomach and could not believe nearly a £70 bill was so horrendous. We raised our concerns about how it isn’t fresh at all, the cheese on top of the chicken looked like rubber, if it was fresh it would come out melted. The hour drive from manchester was not worth it at all. In the end they wanted to offer me a £5 discount. How embarassing. Uncle bens is 99p, the £5 didn’t even cover the uncle bens rice. Never go here guys. I will be leaving reviews on Instagram and Facebook too. They gave me a chilli chicken basket without the chicken or the basket. Quite laughable. Never again.

Food was fresh, hot and extremely tasty. Came to the table quickly. The best place for authentic Italian food in Preston. They also do amazing Indian curries which was a surprise. All in 5/5. Perfect.

Very tasty food, friendly staff, however there is only one toilet cubicle for the whole restaurant, it our order wasn't taken until 25 minutes after sitting at our table and asking 3 times but after that it was good and standard length of time for service

What an incredible little place this is then. The burgers were just unbelievable an got krolled instantly. The staff were friendly. Everyone get down, will defo be back. Marco fantastico, Carlo magnifico ole ole.

The food was amazing great presentation. All staff where friendly. Even met the bosses daughter Fiza she was amazing and takes pride in the family business. She was telling me there are more dishes to come can’t wait to return and try.

Ordered the tear and share bread. Was very good. But the restaurant decoration is worn out with a general impression of being not clean. A weird smell too... I ordered a bottle of water and got tap water??!! It's a shame because there is a good potential.

Heard nothing but good things about this place. However after visiting today we wont be going back anytime soon. Ridiculously expensive and below average food. Worst mocktails I’ve ever had. Rest of food was nothing special either. Reading previous reviews on here seems this place has been going downhill for a while.

Staff were friendly chilli chicken with mash was gorgeous!! Samosa chaat wasn't great but the chicken 65 starter was Yum. Will definitely be going back for the chilli chicken main. It was crispy and covered in lots of sweet chilli sauce. Mash was very creamy. Can't fault it besides wanting a bigger portion.

As I was sitting there waiting to order a family asked to turn the music off so they could pray. The waitress said no she couldn’t. However the prayer mats were there so very disappointing. She the. Suggested they should go to the nearest mosque. At this point I’d seen enough and we walked out.

Went here on a night out with a few other friends, booked a table and was seated quickly. However, ordering is a faff. You have to scan a QR code found on the table, which you could only see the menu and then someone comes and writes your order down. Not sure why you couldn’t order via the QR code or just provide paper menus. This one waitress who served us was rather rude, however the other waitresses were rather nice and even complimented one of us on their outfit. Nice touch! However, the waitress who served us was rather patronising and challenged us when she got the order wrong. Asking, “are you sure you ordered that?” Quite a few times. Besides this, the food was mediocre. We ordered three steaks, that were £30 each for the Cowboy Aged, which were the only steaks they had in, surprisingly. 2/3 of these were not eaten due to them being full with fat. My steak was dry and very bland. Definitely not worth the money. Fries tasted old and were not appetising. One burger wasn’t eaten at all due to it being too dry and overdone. This feedback was shared with the same waitress at the end of the meal and the only resolution was that “The feedback will be passed onto the chef”. Personally, I don’t recommend this restaurant. Food is not worth the value and has quite rude staff. However, not all staff here were rude, others were rather nice.

I’ve been to Marco and Carl quite a few times, I always find the service impeccable, the manager is friendly and professional the staff are excellent, and the food is great. It’s always been a pleasure.

I returned again last night as my visit last time was amazing. They had a great selection of food and more items added from the last time i visited. I had to stick to my blazing crumb but tried some of the new starters. Food was ten out of ten and service was great. Ok they where obviously both understaffed but made sure we had everything we wanted.

Chairs stacked in corner, male staff picking teeth with fingers then serving food, short staffed. Just a bit grubby and not very well maintained.

This place used to be good but overtime its lost its standards and touch. Theres always items unavailable off the menu, and the chicken taste 🤢 youd find icelands frozen chicken better than this joints. id take my family out to this place couple of times a month but now id steer as far as possible. Sadly it used to be my go to place but not anymore.

Food was okay but service was poor - nothing major but the staff simply havent been trained well - brought plates and cutlery a short while after our food came so we had to wait to eat, left dirty plates in front of us for a while even after checking that we had finished etc. Not cheap either so wouldnt go again. Parking: car park directly outside which is convenient
