It's been a tough eighteen months for places that opened in 2019, like this place did. The barman was very welcoming and knowledgable. You expect people to be miserable in Manchester- he was lovely. The beers, as you probably know, are some of the best in Britain. We had a smashing pizza: Speck with the addition of spicy salami. Freshly baked pizzas and good beer are a perfect marriage, nearly as perfect (but not quite) as ours.

Great little find on the Quays, I call in for coffee when I am working local, or before a match at the nearby Old Trafford. Always good, always friendly staff who ensure you have all you need, and you get the impression they really care about your experience. And a great selection of coffee's and cakes to boot. Can get super busy on a match day.

Unit a 272 Chapel StreetFriendly staff, lovely atmosphere, reasonably priced coffee, variety of coffee and cakes. Cakes are homemade and bit expensive for me. I had flat white which was real nice.
