Had a delivery pizza garlic bread burnt kabab flat cold very disappointed waste 22 pounds relied on that meal as laid up with broken leg wish took photos threw in bin straight away not be ordering here no more

Waiting 1 hour and 30 mins when told 45 mins then forgot the chicken I ordered to wait another 20 mins everytime we've ordered something has been missing or wrong gave too many chances will NOT be using again.

Absolutely love there pizzas! Our favourite place to order! Pizzas always red hot and you can tell they are freshly made. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

All you would want from a takeaway. Pizza, calzone, kebab, chicken, burgers, dessert etc not badly priced either with fast service. Food always tastes really good

The Birley one in Sheffield is rubbish last time I ever use them...I ordered a cookie dough with ice cream ..only to be told we dont do ice cream anymore ..but happen last month 2 same I had to ring and ask them where is the ice cream they said sorry didn't have any in...also told me tonight 13 /03/22 that they don't do it anymore ..never called to let me know even though they had read my food list and taken the order..so when they got to point on my order why didn't they me call then ..its still on the list on the website ..so they where lying to me ..so why is it stll the same price ..nothing on here or anywhere saying not giving ice cream with a cookie .Took my money though robbing &$£@@$..Didn't get what I paid for ..so my advice is DO NOT GO TO BIRLEYS...DISAPPOINTED .. COMES COLD ..NO HELP ... IF I HAD SAID JUST A HOLD THE ICE CREAM AND WILL JUST HAVE THE COOKIE WITH OUT THE ICE CREAM..over the phone when I called I said don't like the cookie without the icecream ..He was like nothing I can do end off ..no @#$#&£ given by me..DONT NOT USE THEM ..DISAPPOINTED..Didn't go in the shop ordered it online ..took a picture of the smallest pork Chop in the world .Thank you Birley for the rubbish meal ..

Food arrived 15 mins before it was meant to which is always good. Although the food was kind of warm. For a spicy pizza it sure did have a lot of cheese. All-round a very decent meal. Would recommend.

Quoted delivery through justeat to be 20.15-20.45 after order placed at 18.52. It's now three hours later, no food, restaurant won't answer the phone, and justeat says it's now closed. That's a MarantNo's from me

Disgusting service. Was advised 45 mins for delivery, took 1 hour and 50 mins to be delivered. Staff lie to you and are rude. Refused a refund even though they didn’t provide the food or service paid for. Staff hung up on me, AVOID, don’t waste your money.

Ordered on the app from thurnscoe and it directed to Sheffield without us knowing, rang to explain and was refused a refund. Had to drive half an hour to collect to be told on arrival it had been thrown away so would have to recook as we can't have our monet back. We'll we finally got our food home after a further 30 minute drive home the food was freezing cold and the order was wrong. Will NEVER use again and would not recommend. We ended up spending £35 on a take away that we couldn't eat plus diesel expenses and didn't get even as little as an apology.

Absolutely abysmal to say the least. Asked for a large doner kebab with sauces. Got a scrappy wrap with tasteless doner meat inside and a drizzle of garlic sauce. Not even a pot of each. I feed my rabbit more salad!!!! Absolutely shocking, avoid at all costs!!!!!

Worse food ever stay well clear and the staff are rude and won't rectify your order when it's wrong I would give it no stars it all went in the bin what a waste of money

Delivery was made for 8pm but didn't turn up till 8.45pm. Food was salty as ever, what you trying to do, give me a taste of high blood pressure/heart attack with my kebabs that I ordered. Food was tasteless despite being leathered in salt. Salad also salty. Delivery driver was as morbid as ever and to be honest he passed me my food and just walked away not saying ''your welcome" or "have a great night" or even to say sorry it was late. We ordered off Just Eat App and put delivery instructions but they were not followed or were just ignored. Thanks for the £8 refund but unfortunately we will not be ordering from this place ever again.

The peri peri wings cost £7.50 for some deep fried horrible things with chilli sauce on top. NOT EVEN PERI PERI. Didn’t even come with a drink. Avoid this place

Had order on Sunday July 18th 2020 Waited an hour & half Food rubbish, lettuce brown, soggy chips, soggy nuggets, burned chicken on kebabs, £36 in bin pls Phoned and complained, manager said can have refund, so phoned abt refund yesterday & they don’t do refunds, Never will we order from here again

Was a regular. Too many mistakes with orders and quality has gone down massively. Hot dog crust pizza arrived today which they failed to mention was 'hot chilli' hot dogs. Revolting all round. Never again, will order from elsewhere 👍🏻

I ordered on Just Eat and the order was completed exactly on time. We had the family box and it was all gorgeous. Would definitely order from again.

One of the best takeaways anywhere. Competitively priced and consistently excellent food. Great range of pizza, kebabs and burgers. The grilled chicken is fantastic especially with per peri sauce. On time delivery too.

So placed an order over £50, to arrive cold with half the order burnt to a crisp and the other half missing!!nearly everything was cold, but we should be grateful for the free cheese COLD garlicbread!! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING FOODAND SERVICE!!!!@

Shocking service. Still waiting for delivery two and half hours after ordering. If its going to take that long then be honest, but then no one would order. I certainly won't be ordering again. Only gave one star because I had to.

Food was 2 hours late, when it arrived it was very disappointing, the wedges tasted like they were cooked yesterday and the burgers were so dry and overcooked, that we couldn't eat them, its a real shame as we've been ordering from here for a long time but the last few orders have gradually gotten worse! This will be the last time we order from marantos...

Went into the takeaway following a night out. I had a margarita pizza it was very nice. Only criticism is that the card machine wasn't working so we had to get cash.

We ordered from Marantos at crookes sheffield and it was really nice. We ordered garlic bread, pizza (mighty meaty) hash browns, chips and hot wings. They were all lovely with loads of toppings and packaged really well.

Had a chicken shish kebab with all the trimmings. Absolutely sound. Only thing that wasn't brilliant was the bread but even then it was fine

I love the lamb shish well cooked, fries perfect but a small portion and the sauce i don't know the name is nice i love it one last thing the waiting time is a bit long. Thanks

Food was cold donner meat like pork scratchings brown wilted salad. chicken tasted like it was cooked day before and the wedges were like lumps of coal rock hard and tasteless. It used to be a good takeaway but not anymore would never use again would say the worse I've ever had

Absolutely disgusting, ordered shish kebab got 5 small peices of lamb in a large wrap. Chips are cold & look like yesterdays. Paid £9 for it not worth a penny ,my son had a special kebab & only got 2 peices of lamb on his & again cold. AVOID!!

Morantos Birley - I gave it one star cause I had to, so I could put a comment! Ordered a pizza for 20 30 and at 21 45 still waiting and instead of being honest about the order and telling us that they cant do or it wont be there any time soon etc.. they say 25 minutes and that was 1 hour ago! Now they arent answering the phone I am absolutely starving! Fuming doesnt cover it! So... when it finally came.. its gorgeous!.. All I would say is if didnt lie to customers and were honest and actually called the customer's if there were issues with there delivery.

Absolutely shocking service. Waited 3 hours 10 minutes for food to be delivered after it stated on website 70 to 80 minute wait. Tried calling to chase but line always busy. Will NOT order from here again.

This take away has gone right down the hill takes ages for the food to arrive and when it does it's cold it doesn't even taste nice such a shame cause I used to love the food

It’s such a shame we’ve sent lots of business their way over the years. We had a delivery and it was 40 mins later than just eat email estimated. We called and received poor customer service. Speaking to them on the phone 3 times the final time the guy found it funny that we were calling again. His comment: “What do you want me to do?! The first time you called, we said it was coming out the oven.” Us: “you said it was on the way! So where is it now? You said it was round the corner the first time we called!!!” Just be honest about delivery times, we totally appreciate that on a Saturday particularly things can run late but don’t lie about where deliveries are and then laugh at customers! I then found plastic on my pizza! (Can’t make it up) Poor experience guys!

Always excellent service and food

Took about 3 hours to arrive (an hour later than the estimated time)... Rang up and chased it, didn't even get an apology for the delay/inconvenience caused, not even a free bottle of coke or something popped in as a good customer service gesture. When it arrived, it was cold, the cheese smelt really gone off, putting us off it. Used to love their food but It's gone really down hill in quality and I'm intrigued as to what their food hygiene rating is? Won't bother again, will stick to Sainsbury's £2.50 pizzas!

Been ordering from here for past few years and always recommend but it's definitely gone down hill. Im curious to what hygiene rating it gets on next inspection. I ordered a couple of pizzas tonight at half 6 and they didn't turn up until 9, not even an apology when I rang up. Also there was a bad smell to the cheese, it was cold and I've got a horrible after taste Won't be ordering again unless it improves.

This has got to be the best local takeaway by far. Have tried them around the area and none are as fresh, value for money or as tasty tbh. Would reccomend 100% & even delivery men deserve a shout as so nice.

Food great but deliver disappointing

Tried the piri piri chicken special really nice good quality chicken, donner burger was also really tasty and the pizzas are the best I've had. Recommend the marantos special pizza 👍🏼

I changed my mind about spending the £15.40 to buy the take-away and saw on the website that it was going to be over an hour until it arrived. Because of this, I phoned Maranto's, telling them to cancel the order - but was told that 'it will arrive in a couple of minutes'. The cash I spent turned out to be the money for an upcoming trip to Scotland trip I was planning to do, so I could see a friend of mine (who lives there). This was the reason why I wished to cancel my order. My family doesn't have enough money to replace it, therefore I heavily regret my decision to spend this much money on food. It has ruined 2019 for me. I ruined 2019 for me.

Delivery was 10 minutes early. Food was warm not hot. But very tasty and enjoyed it.

Came in good time as always. Really nice fresh and hot as always. You guys aren't helping my diet lol. Highly recommend.

Ordered before many times,always been good. Tonight’s was inedible. Couldn’t eat anything,totally caked in salt,awful. Something obviously went wrong,but this shouldn’t have been sent out. Not the cheapest either,don’t mind paying a bit more as it’s usually very nice,but I was honestly lost for words,£14 straight in the bin,wasn’t feeding it my pet either . Won’t be using these ever again without an explanation

the chef special kebab was really nice with a mix of flavors and plentiful of meat. but the naan bread was terrible, it was nothing like naan bread. side salad was nice, good place just sorted them naan out

The food was excellent and the delivery guy polite. The only problem we had was, we ordered a burger meal deal and they forgot to send our cans of pop not the end of the world but we will check next time.

Found something hard that looked like a tooth in the garlic bread, wasn't pleasent and put us off the rest of the meal.

Food came very very quickly after placing our order and to no surprise it was awful due to seemed rushed the chips were all over cooked and stale my pizza was burnt round the edges and the burger was all soggy and under cooked 🤮 this was our favourite take away and has always been spot on I’m so gutted and feel like I don’t dare order again and spend £15+ to just throw in the bin! 😣
