Manuka Bar & Eatery in Plymouth

Staff got me in on short notice tonight, food and service was excellent.

I held a 'Ladies Lunch Plymouth' networking event here. The event went without a hitch. The staff were friendly and helpful and agreed a fixed price for the group within our budget. My meal was lovely. All the feedback I received from the networkers was positive, too. Definitely worth visiting.

This was a work Christmas do and everyone had a fantastic time. The service was great, the food was exceptional (BIG portions- the Calamari was the best I’d ever had) and the atmosphere was really Christmassy. Very good value for money, so I will definitely try this again some time.

What an incredible meal! Every dish was so tasty and cooked perfectly. We ordered: •Arancini •Bruschetta •King prawn linguine •Diavola pizza •Halloumi fries We had it all come out together and as you can see from the pictures it was SO much food! For dessert we had the biscoff cheesecake which was yummy 🤤 The decor inside is so pretty and the ladies who served us were so friendly. We will definitely be back!

Came in for desserts. Was not disappointed. Lovely atmosphere, lusculious cheesecake and stack, friendly staff, excellent playlist.

A really good local steak, and great value at £20 for 10oz. Inc chips and garnish. Steak was cooked perfectly, with lovely salt crystal seasoning. Friendly service too

Fantastic place to eat. One of the best steaks, perfectly cooked. Clean, modern venue and the waitress was warm and very pleasant to talk to. Big shout out to Amy!

Went to Manuka after work for a cheeky pizza and beer, it did not disappoint!! The pizza and beer offer for £10 is an absolute bargain and even if you buy outside of the deal its totally reasonable. Believe me, you will not walk away hungry!! Will definitely be visiting again!!

We had a leavers party do there. It all went?smoothly. A little pricey but quality to match. The 10oz steak was cooked to perfection. All in all a lovely night out.

Had a meal there with friends this evening. Real friendly staff. Nothing too much trouble. Great to see the owner excelling at what he does. Brilliant place to eat. Well Done!

I came in tonight with a group of girls first time being here I have to say the staff were absolutely outstanding made sure everything was ok, very talkative and polite I will totally be coming back with more friends

Amazing restaurant with some great pizza. The service was great, very friendly and helpful staff, very accommodating. They have an amazing deal on Wednesday, Pizza and a pint for £10, choice of 3 pizzas with either a beer or cider. They also have a great sharing board which has a few samples of different meat and cheese which was awesome. Definitely recommend if you want a nice meal which a bottle of wine!!

This place is absolutely AMAZING. I am a regular and always go for a Margherita Pizza for lunch. The quality of food is top tier. Tried a few cocktails as well, which were so good. Customer service is amazing, all the waiters, waitresses and managers are welcoming with a smile and very kind. Food and drinks usually come out fairly fast. Definitely recommend!

Ordered a medium rare flat iron steak for 20£. Received a well-done hard chewing piece of denim pants. Will never come back here again. The overly-dressed salad was OK though. The waiter asked how the food was and I said it was well-done. Her response? «Sorry, it will be medium next time» as she wandered off not actually taking the response seriously. Funny note - it won’t be a next time. Worst denim pants I’ve ever eaten. 20£ … waste of money.

Newly opened bar and eatery. The place has a cohesive internal design that is both modern and homely at the same time. The food on offer is first class, with a well thought out menu that offers a variety of pizzas and salads and sides to suit all tastes The eating experience is worth the wait for the hand made pizzas and any accompanying side, definitely try the halloumi fries with cranberry. The staff are attentive without being in your face. They are knowledgeable about not only the food, but also the range of cocktails that are served.

Manuka has a really welcoming atmosphere, Food is amazing and staff are always polite and friendly.

Manuka is very brand new restaurant and interior design is very currently and pizzas are so good and delicious. Definitely going there again and highly recommend. People who work there are really lovely and welcoming.

Not as expected, we had delivery and it was good, in time , food still hot but not as good as it looks. We had arancini that were nothing to do with the real Italian ones, unfortunately no taste and very lumpy. The pizzas were ok but the same not much of taste, they should go for a trip in Italy to see the difference. Good luck.

Atmosphere, interior design, customer service all fantastic! Delicious and well presented cocktails. What steals the show by far is the food 🍕 Fantastic authentic style pizza, which is freshly made an beautiful. Lovely unique additions like the pine nuts works so well! The sides are also scrumptious. We are now regulars it's a wonderful spot, dog friendly with pizza and a pint deal on Wednesdays - They were also very accomodating to a large group party which was brilliant - Awesome Place👍

Delicious pizza and lovely atmosphere!

Interestingly not branded as a pizzeria but possibly should be, as the Neapolitan style pizzas are front and centre of the menu and are fantastic. Beautiful, trendy space next to the Box and a brilliant addition to that area and the city in general.

Had a pizza which was unreal, also saw some of the food other customers ordered, also looked unreal. the interior design is class, really warm and welcoming. Drinks are bloody incredible. Also dog friendly so got to pet the owners dog, who was a right cheeky chappy. Staff are well friendly, would 100% recommend a visit to manuka.

This used to be called Bac Bar but as of May 2022 it has completely changed, been entirely refurbished and is now the gorgeous Manuka. Visited last week with a group and it couldn't have been better. Beautiful venue, delicious and we'll priced drinks and cocktails and friendly staff. We'll definitely be back.

Pizza is the best I've had in Plymouth, drinks are really good aswell.

I don't go out as much as I did but when I do this is the place I like to go. It's got a great atmosphere, friendly staff & there has never been a kick off whilst I have been there. I'd not drink anywhere else. Shuts at 4am

Small bar based on North hill just by the museum. Brilliant drink offers all evening . staff are very knowledgeable about their products and are very welcoming. Popular amongst students but everyone is always welcome opens at 9.30 pm each day.

Wonderful cocktails if you drink

Used to be a cool place with awesome surf videos and a crowd of varied ages, now it can make a 25 year old feel geriatric. Shame really, used to love coming here, now they cram first year uni students inside like sardines. Not a fan.

Good deals on drinks, beer pong is fun and reasonably priced.

Sunday funday is the place to be

Sunday funday, 2-4-1 drinks. Who can complain at that?!

I like to think of 2-4-1 on Sunday's as more as "double your money" take £30, get £60 of drinks. Get the rounds in and share them with your mates, or don't...it's 2-4-1 what excuse do you have not to take advantage of it?

Went in on a Friday and lost a whole weekend. 10/10 Would lose it all again
