Manor Mangal in Hillingdon

Had a lamb doner kebab from there and gotta say its the tastiest kebab ive ever had.... thinly sliced, moist and fresh. Service with a smile..... will be my regular now.

Very nice food and fast service! It is one of the nicer place where to take take away food on the Manor high street, prices quite competitive and portion very generous, we took a portion for 2 (paied approximately 30£) and we eat 2 days with it. Meat cooked really nice, tender and with a lot of flavour the rice it makes the difference, really tasty and much appreciated wven from my 2 years old daughter. Definatly a place i would advice to everyone!

Hidden treasure in Ruislip Manor. Went here for dinner for my daughters birthday, The service was Wow, very attentive, good staff. The food we ordered was the mixed grill plater, and the food was just cooked to perfection. Everyone was so happy with the meal. Unfortunately, we didn't take any pictures. We just dived in and devoured this meal. Thank you for your service.

Not all kebab shops are made equal. This is a very good one - reliably good. Portions are heartily big, taste and quality are also right up there. What I especially like about Manor Mangal is that they also have the fantastic lamb stews. The menu is varied and it's all good! A reliable and easy recommendation.

Fantastic fresh mezes & absolutely juicy grills, freshly made to order. Owner is leading the team from front, energetic, great sense of humour & so hands on. Team is equally good. Our 13 year old loved his wrap, we shared a big platter loaded with chicken & lamb grills, rice. Served with hummus, pita & salad. We will be back very soon.

Great kebabs love their chicken wraps

Id give it 3.5 Its a good option, but the portions felt tight. It looked great until the top layer of meats showed crispy crutons of bread. Its a good stable option. Nothing was tasteless or offensive and the staff were polite, but nothing stood out. And for what was paid there is a lot of competition.

This place is your authentic Turksih cuisine that you could take your mates and have a Rakı Balık ie. RAKI with fish and great food and atmosphere. I have known the owners for so long and wouldn't change them for the world. Everything is fresh, service is great and prices are affordable. So you must try this place. Kebabs are not nice at all. Ask for fresh meat and they give you old meat that’s Been sitting in the pot for hours. Service is awful. Lady is miserable and rude. AVOID!!!

Just been for family birtday thought we get chips two regular the owner asked I said yes pls. I then asked how much for chicken donner meat on top he said £10.0, I said ok He then gave one small portion of chips one medium chips with donner meat only on the medium chips unbelievable, such a shame I have ordered take always before & eaten in a few times Don’t think I will bover any more

Chicken doner kebab was absolutely out of this world. Super fresh and flavorful, the pita was incredible and it couldn’t have been better.

Chicken casserole was absolutely delicious.

Overpriced, a chicken shish kebab costs £14! The hummus is very small portion, comes with 4 small pieces of bread.

A magical evening ended in the most spectacular way as we enjoyed the very best of top doner cuisine . A sumptuous feast. Turkish delight. I was well and truly mangled by the time I left. Shish.

Ordered a big order for a family get together and it was a massive failure. Food arrived cold, we were missing 4 portions of chips and a mixed Doner kebab. When we phoned he accepted he made a mistake on the chips but not the kebab. Ordered a few times before this occasion but won’t be again. Portions are not worth the price tag either. A lot better kebab shops in the area, use those. Trust me! Don’t even take the chance.

Awful food and service. Paid £18 and got a couple of onion rings, a ton of hummusand a falafel with some lettuce thrown on top. Called to ask for them to send something decent, dude told me to call deliveroo.

Absolutely BEST chicken kebab I’ve tried in London!!!! And I’ve tried quite a lot kebabs in London. A bit pricey but once you take a bite you know what you paid for. If you’re in the area definitely check it out!

Terrible service and food was not cooked properly

AVOID THIS PLACE!!! After ordering a mixed grill for 3 we askedif they could swap rice for chips , the waitress bluntly told us not possible. Not letting this bother us we then ordered drinks which arrived in a dirty glass with black remnants of something..no apology for the unclean glass. It just got worse after that , food arrived and the chicken wings were uncooked, when we showed it to the first waiter, he called someone else who came and checked and then a third 'chef' came out and stubbornly refused to acknowledge that the chicken was uncooked. I can't imagine that any chef would agree that the chicken ( see pic attached) has been cooked. Needs retraining!

Would not use or recomend to anybody .The food was actually fine but forgot a large bottle of drink ,when I spoke to some body he said what do you want me to do about it,it's Uber was fault .I didn't know uber rats cooked it and packed it now days.long story short.DISSAPOINTED

Not much to look at from outside but the food was real tasty. Chicken and lamb cooked to a tender juicy piece of meat with a delicious charred outside. Friendly staff. Would go back again next time I'm in the area.

This place amazinggg 😍I tried their lamb shish once and fish chips and salad. Ohhh my God🥳they tasted amazing. Much better food quality then Izgara restaurant. They also are doing takeaway. Their turnip juice is a must to have. Gooo and eat their food🤣😁👍 Highly recommend. Satisfaction guaranteed 😘

Lamb donner was inedible, was old and very dry. The food was very average and not worth the money at all.

Edit: Updated to 4 stars as quality returned to normal. Would give 4 stars until a month ago. Something has changed recently as our wraps were significantly smaller in size than usual. Will give them another go, as it maybe was a one off. Usually we are happy with the quality, portions and taste.

Terrible customer service. I ordered a large delivery for 5 people via Ubereats and Manor Mangal forgot to include the kebab sauces we ordered. I phoned manor mangal and asked them to deliver the sauces and was told I would need to order and pay for something else in order to receive them and therefore also pay the additional delivery fees The man on the phone at Manor Mangal was unbelievably rude and hung up on me. We were regular customers of manor mangal but will not be ordering from here ever again.

What does 'Mangal' mean? It doesn't translate as anything and apparently, isn't even a Turkish word. Hmm. I paid to eat here once and the staff basically laughed at me as I was eating. That wasn't very nice of them.

Nice but pretty average overall. Was a bit disappointed with the marinade on the chicken.

One of the items in our order was wrong so we phoned to let them know and ask if they could replace it. They said the fault was with the delivery driver (even though our order was packed together so there was no way for the driver to give us the wrong item). They were rude on the phone and told us it ‘wasn’t their problem’ and refused to help. They then hung up the phone. Such a shame as we have ordered from them before but we won’t be going back now. This also isn’t the first time they got order items wrong.

Had a family meal delivery. Chicken was over cooked. Lamb donner was not fresh. Overall not very good experience and probably will not order again.

Bit pricey for some dishes compared to other comparable restaurants. Also staff are rude and impolite dealing with customers. I'd rather avoid this restaurant and go to the nearby Istanbul turkish restaurant.

I’ve been coming here more than often over the past few weeks and every time I get here the food just gets better and better, the portion sizes and the quality are up there with some of the best I’ve ever had.

Wow what a great find and the lamb kebab was out of this world.. So first thing first, they have an app you can download so can order on the app or you are welcome to call them or Deliveroo are on their list of restaurants. The staff are really helpful, the menu is varied and nothing is too much trouble. We had to wait around 15 mins for our food as we ordered at the door but honesty it was so worth the wait. Kebabs come as standard with salad and rice which is lovely plus they provided some Turkish bread, pitta and sauce. We are absolutely delighted with the quality, value and taste of our dinner. Can’t recommend enough.

Simply the best Turkish food in Ruislip Manor.

We regular customers and we ordered a couple of days ago once again. I understand that all the businesses are struggling after the first lockdown but I can’t accept the fact that they offer to their customers stale food. We ordered a special mangal for 4-6 people and the meet (specially the chicken doner) was extremely smelly. You don’t need to be an expert to understand that that meet was cooked approximately 2 days before. Is sad because we were really happy with that restaurant BUT NOT ANYMORE

I got take away döner wrap from this shop last night and let me tell you as a Turkish person myself you could NOT fault the food. It was wonderful hot and prepared with love. All staff and owners of the shop are so friendly and each time we visit them they make us feel home. They always smile polite and always take care of us. The prices are also affordable and lower than some other kebab shops. Their lamb shih chicken and lamb köfte are also amazing please pay a visit to this family run business you won't regret it I promise you. Lots of love to you guys and thank you for making our night last nite ozge x x

My experience last two times, Was told wait 10 minutes which was fine. Waited 40minutes for our food resturant is prioritising Uber eats / Deliveroo orders over customers outside. Got home the kebab was really greasy! I know a kebab is greasy but the amount of oil at the bottom was like 1/2 a pint! Never had this issue here but the prioritising the Uber / Deliveroo is a down fall for me

We ordered the Mangal special for 4-6 people. Unlike some places that say for 4-6 people but the food is barely enough for 4, Manor Mangal was more than enough to feed the 5 of us with plenty left over. Both quality and quantity were good, we will be ordering again!

Lamb Kebab - The lamb was super oily. I was not a fan of separating the sauce, vegatables to separate sections. Furthermore the lamb was also super dry. Chicken Kebab - Chicken was dry, and oily. Bread was rigid.

Have ordered takeaways from them a few times. The kebabs are ok but portion sizes are a bit stingy and prices seem higher than their local competitors. I've stopped ordering from them now as they have changed to a cash only policy since the first lockdown in Mar 20. Prior to that they accepted cards incl Amex.

We regularly use Manor Mangal and it’s always been good, but tonight we had a delivery from them through Uber eats and it was awful. The lasagne was anaemic. We’ve never seen anything like it. How on earth they could happily send it out in that state is beyond me. It had some watery substance around the sides too. It went in the bin. It was inedible.

Awful experience, my food was saturated in pure grease. It sprayed out the bottom of the Kebab onto my clothes. The ending was completely inedible. Made me feel unwell.

Ordered from other Turkish restaurants and the Kleftiko always comes with veg, unfortunately nothing, just lamb and gravy... disappointing!! Had to add veg myself!!

I’ve ordered from Manor Mangal many times now and the food has always been amazing ! I’ve ordered Chicken Shish wrap and Chicken Shish Kebab and both taste really good. Their garlic and chilli sauces are both on point! Would definitely recommend this place.

Stingey portions for the overpriced food. Ordered a large lamb doner and it was minuscule. I hate to think what the small doner would have been like! Going elsewhere for my kebab fix next time and avoiding these misers.

Disgusting. if you are brave enough to order a kebab check out how much grease and fat accumulate on your plate before you have finished.

From the creamy Cacik (Tzatziki) to the melt-in-the-mouth lamb kofte and the intriguing beyti kebab everything we had on our first visit to Manor Mangal recently was just delicious. Note: the decor may tempt you to turn around, which would be a great pity. Not particularly cheap but very good value. Fantastic service too.

We decided to visit this place with my 2 young daughter and after after visiting Ruislip lido. I was a bit scepticAl after reading previous reviews. It was quiet and we got seated straight away. The waiter was very pleasant. We ordered chicken sheesh and lamb with rice. Whilst we waited the waiter gave us homous ad pitta whilst we waited. We waited around 10 mins for the food to arrive. The chicken was nice and rice. I cannot fault the service and food. It was reasonably priced. I would defo recommend this place if visiting nearby

Me and my friend looking for a restaurant for dinner in late.we got this restaurant and went to inside.waiter came and welcoming us. restaurant wasn't so highly decorated but it was simple,nice ,neat and clean.we ordered for mixed boty kebab,grilled wings meal which is included with rice,beef burger and chips ,drinks as well. Whole food was too delicious but boty kebab with special sauce was very much tasty.we enjoyed much .thanks to waiter for his good service .we will be back to you .

I have ordered numerous times from uber eats. The food has always been good. Today I ordered. They forgot to put any sauces in the bag. I called and was told by one of the “owners” to come down and they will give it to me. Obviously I have used uber eats so I don’t have to drive. Once I tried the chicken diner, it was tasteless, greasy and not like I have eastern before. I called the shop again. I was told. “What do you want me to do” I said I’m a regular customer. Surely you will replace. They said we’re sort you next time. Ha ha. So I’ll go hungry and wait till next time. Absolute piss take. Won’t be ordering again. Plus whoever I spoke to has as much customer service as a.....

If you want to experience real turkish food then go elsewhere but here ! Food is bland and tasteless. They do not give you any sauces. Very rude Manager who does not care. Avoid this place! Go to Yaprak their food is amazing!
