The service from the ladies who served us was brilliant—friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The menu offers a fantastic variety with plenty of delicious options to choose from. Every dish we ordered was full of authentic flavours and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a great meal. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Thai food and exceptional service!

Best Thai in ss9 area. Reasonably priced and stand out dishes Plaa Goong and Kra Pao Tofu. Quality of dishes never drops.

We asked for a quiet corner and that's what we got. The food was lovely and the staff very friendly and helpful, but not bothersome. Its not a cheap night out, but you won't be disappointed.

I never write reviews but had to do this. SERIOUSLY SPEAKING, I CAN’T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY HAVE THIS HIGH RATING. Their food is soo sweet, it becomes sickening, Even their special fried rice is so sweet with chunks of pineapple which they don’t mention on the menu. Then the charge is so misleading, especially the set menu. You are tricked to think that you are paying £35 until the bill comes. And it’s very pricy. You can’t refuse anything that’s not up to standard for you even if you don’t touch it. HAVE NEVER WASTED MY £108 IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. Disappointing..

Really lovely staff and food! Service was prompt, and the wait staff were more than happy to help. I overheard them telling another customer they have gluten free options too, which is good. Very pleased with the service and the quality of the menu, will definitely return. Reasonably priced, too!

You cannot fail to enjoy the food, service and atmosphere in this genuine Thai restaurant. Been there many times over the decades and it is always a great experience.

The mixed starter for two was very nice, more than enough. There were 6 of us.

First time eating in, staff are friendly and can't do enough for you, food was even better than the takeaway version. Enjoy the food here and will sit in again soon

The Phad Thai was below par (no peanuts, coriander or lime!?) and the ‘sharing starter platter’ was small, and the only decent part of it was the spring rolls and satay chicken the rest was not nice. You can do better guys

Today we travelled from Southend just have lunch here, only to find out kitchen is closed. They said they close at 15:00, we arrived at 14:20 but they just wont let us order. Better to say close at 14:00 if you can’t keep up at 15:00. So disappointed, i won’t return here again. Rubbish marketing, pure laziness.

Tonight I was very disappointed with the food because I found a peice of metal in my noodles this is very unsafe and not acceptable, I also felt that I could knowlonger trust the food because of what happened and the waiter was rude to my mother.

Such I lovely restaurant. Amazing staff. Very helpful. The food was amazing and very authentic. To the point they sold tiger beer. Haveing been to Thailand and Vietnam it was a good comparison and to be honest if you closed your eyes and tasted there food you would belive that you was in a restaurant or street stall eating in Thailand. There papaya salad was so fresh with a slight kick just like Thailand. The sea bass was full of flavour. As was the Thai chicken green curry. And the beef strips were succulent and so tasty with a touch of bitterness all in all a great experience and totally recommended.

Consistently excellent. It's been a while since I last visited Manoly's and I'm sorry to have been missing out for so long. Celebrating my mum's special birthday was the perfect occasion for enjoying a tasty Thai tempura, as well as their delicious satay, noodles and curries. Service, although obviously masked, was with a warm smile as always and we didn't feel rushed, despite being the last lunch diners of the afternoon. Top marks again, thank you Manoly's!

We went there for my wife’s birthday, and the food is unbelievable, there is no Thai restaurant like this one in essex! They even put a candle in my wife’s dessert, thank you Manoly’s x

My wife and I were looking forward to a romantic meal for two but it ended up feeling like were eating at a kids dinner. There was no background music, zero atmosphere but the only thing that saved it was the food.

Great local Thai cuisine. We’ve just ordered a takeaway as well and the food quality is superb. The staff are being very conscientious in dealing with COVID-19 and social distancing and making the customer feel very welcome.

We've been visiting Manoly's regularly ever since we moved to Leigh. The staff is friendly and attentive, the restaurant is cosy and well kept and most importantly, the food is consistently tasty, authentic and a great value! We love taking our friends and family there to eat when they visit, and it is our go to place if we feel peckish around town. Thank you :)

A seriously underrated place to eat in Leigh (at least for lunch anyway!). Has the most lovely set of staff who are genuinely conscientious and courteous at all times. I've been eating at this fabulous restaurant for nearly 20 years and have thoroughly enjoyed each and every time, never had a bad meal. Always something new to try, the quality and flavours are excellent and you'll want to come back for more. The new lunchtime bento box is great too, allowing you to sample a variety of dishes at a very reasonable price. Fascinating to watch the expert chefs cook through an open window, which also assures you of quality. A real winner in the heart of Leigh on Sea. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Wednesday night I went with my husband for the first time. The greeting was lovely, the service amazing and the food, wow! Absolutely delicious. I went with their reccomendation, a bit out of my comfort zone but so glad I did. It was simply stunning. Will definitely be going back and cannot recommend highly enough.

This place is well worth a visit... polite, friendly and attentive staff. The food itself is delicious and of a high standard. Had the set menu for two and it was a lot of food but well worth it. Great atmosphere and the toilets are very clean and pleasant.

Had the lunchtime benton box which was good value for money. Sadly it was limited in choice of main dish but I had the cod which had a bit too much chilli for me personally. One of the staff members who served us was vey friendly and entertaining. Will be back again!

Food was great... unfortunately we were seated too close to another couple, was so close that we could hear each others conversation, uncomfortably awkward. They squeezed two small tables where should've been only one. Sometimes business are more focused on the profit than the experience they provide.

Manolys offers the most authentic Thai in Leigh-on-Sea. The cuisine is great, as well as the staff and atmosphere. It's very accommodating for all.

Food still good, but... Haven't been there for a while. It's changed a while and seems to have lost some of its allure. Considering the cost, the service needs addressing, at times, it all seems reduced to a fast food joint (eg. don't put coke cans on the table...serve it in a glass). Competition is around the corner and I'd hate to see this place go. This restaurant is part of Leigh.

Appalling service, informed them about my allergy but they messed up, no apology offered! Thank God for the anti histamine's that I carry otherwise they could have killed me!!

Food very good. Service a complete joke 4 people eating and 3 main courses turned up Waited and waited for 4th they kept saying was coming. It did when other 3 had finished eating. Sent it back as other 3 were ready to leave. Staff obviously thought it was amusing as just kept laughing when we complained !! WONT BE COMING BACK PS NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY & STILL ADDED A SERVICE CHARGE TO THE BILL !!! #JOKE PLACE

Food actually good but was rushed out being told at least 5 times they were closing for lunch. They took food and drink away from the table unfinished and were hurrying other tables to drink up and leave. Not the service you expect when you’ve just paid £50 for 2 people at lunch.

I came about this restaurant on the off chance when at a reunion in Leigh On Sea with my sister and it was absolutely faultless. I had been suffering from a bad stomach from the day before and the staff here helped me choose my food wisely. It settled my tummy and both my sister and I were so impressed with the wonderful service , food and the reasonable prices and the lovely 😊 atmosphere all round . It was very busy but they simply can't do enough for you . Thank you 😊 everyone - we simply cannot wait to be in the area for our next wonderful experience with you all 👌A********** ✔️

I've been going here for many years, the food is always good and the staff friendly.

Delicious food and very authentic. All in all, a good meal but they do take a liberty with the drinks which are VERY expensive (£2.50 for a glass of juice from a carton).

Really nice restaurant! Lovely food! My friend & I got; • starters - prawn toast & chicken satay • mains - a thai chicken curry and a sweet & sour chicken dish - we shared a coconut rice • drinks - we had a soft drink each, a glass of prosecco each & • we shared a pancake roll for dessert • then had a cup of tea each (all pictured) & it came to £63ish. Very good! Recommend all of it! Really glad we found this place! We were stuffed after all that food! But it wasn't gross or greasy at all! Went on a Sunday evening so not many people in there - We were served quickly & staff were lovely, very friendly! It's a really nice restaurant, nice decor & we'll definitely be going back! Have recommended to other friends already too. Edit: Since this visit & review, I've ordered takeaway from here & it was nowhere near as good as our meal in the restaurant. Wouldn't get takeaway from here again.
