Amazing fusion of East Asian and healthy grilled food. My 5 reasons for giving them 5 stars Portion sizes... generous to say the least and for what you pay... see the next bit. Prices... very reasonable and easy on the waller. You get more than what you pay for! Range... Great selection of food of East Asian persuasion and healthy grilled eats for the gym goers Food... tastes amazing, I had Udon noodles with Chicken and Prawns. I could taste all the herbs, spices, and the way it blends it's to be tried. Service... the staff are very friendly, professional, courteous and they speak the Queen's English. You can easily understand them and they'll understand everything you say too. Cannot recommend this place enough!

I went here for lunch everyday when I used to work around the corner and the food was always consistently great. Quick service, even when it is busy. A great friendly place run by the wonderful Junie. The food is much better than any of the more renowned Thai Restaurants in London and much cheaper and friendlier too.

I find myself frequently visiting Mudmee for Thai. Whilst it may not look like a polished and luxurious restaurant, the food is always good. The starters are a bit of a hit and miss, but the mains are great. Thai Green Curry and Pad Thai are my favourites. For the price and food, definitely recommend it.

Rating: 2.6/5 – Not worth the hype Tried Poppies Spitalfields expecting a proper British fish & chips experience, but left underwhelmed. The décor is charming with its retro diner vibe, but the food didn’t match the atmosphere. I ordered the classic cod & chips with mushy peas—unfortunately, the batter was a bit soggy, and the fish lacked seasoning. Chips were average at best, and for the price, I expected better. Even the sides, like the tartare sauce and pickled egg, felt like afterthoughts. Service was fine, but nothing particularly stood out. It felt more like a tourist spot than a true chippy. If you’re after real fish & chips, I’d suggest looking beyond the branding and heading somewhere with more substance.

When here but could not find it. Called them number and it is invalid. Asked a local who said there has never been a restaurant in the road.
