What a lovely place, and we'd love to be regulars, but we won't be returning as the only area which is dog-free is upstairs and not suitable for those with mobility problems. Hence the 2 stars.

Visited 3.20 on a weekday for a coffee and a hot snack to be told the kitchen was closed. They where serving drinks and cakes. I did notice some sausage rolls and pasties and I asked if they could be warmed up. I was told this was not possible. My husband had a pot of tea and a cake, he said the cake was delicious. We also bought several things like biscuits and crackers to take home with us. We are not local to Fishguard so nobody knew us. The reason for my rating is because I observed 3 local customers (not the same party) that came in after us being served hot sausage rolls. I should have said something there and then but I was so annoyed it would have come out as a rant. I know small business are struggling these days and we go out of our way to support them, but this left a bitter taste. We have started to visit Fishguard on a regular basis and I will choose to spend my money where I’m going to be treated equally as a local, so we won’t be using you again, regardless of time.

Popped in this afternoon for a quick bite and coffee to warm up on a chilly day. Luckily we just made it in time for hot food or light snacks before the kitchen closed. We both ordered sandwiches which were deep filled on beautiful thick brown bread and also delicious side salad. The latte coffee's were perfectly blended not too strong. This is my second visit and most certainly many more to come!

This is a great place, we stopped in for a quick coffee and tea and couldn’t resist after we were told there was lemon drizzle available. All lovely. We also bought a couple of sausage rolls to go because they looked so nice. Busy on a Saturday lunch time, staff were great, lovely building, and all the food we saw coming out also looked (and smelled) very nice. There also seemed to be a lot of milkshakes being made which looked nice. The decaf cappuccino was excellent. You can also buy all sorts of veg and farm shop type produce. Would highly recommend.

We have eaten at Mannings on many occasions and found it good, especially as my husband is coeliac and they normally cater, but today they say because they are busy they can’t guarantee the food won’t be contaminated. Whilst honesty is always appreciated, it’s disappointing to be effectively turned away and no effort to be made to accommodate the dietary needs of customers.

It's great to see a really nice place to eat and drink in Fishguard but I am shocked at the volume of wasted cardboard boxes and cups as nothing is provided on a plate or in a glass, mug or cup. We are all doing everything possible to reduce unnecessary waste to help preserve natural resources and reduce damage to the environment but this is going in the opposite direction and to top it off, there is an additional hidden charge for the privilege of using cups to drink from and boxes to eat out of without being give the opportunity to decide. We all know the world has gone mad with making everything COVID-Safe, but surly this is not what is expected of us during these difficult times. Surely eating of normal plates and drinking out of glasses and cups that have been cleaned and dried in a dishwasher as in other places would be suitable and safe!

It looked like a lovely place to stop and have coffee and cake, how wrong could we be! The interior, seating, display of food all looked fabulous - however once we were seated, we remained just that other tables of customers who arrived after us were served whilst we were ignored, eventually my husband caught the eye of a waitress, who acknowledged we were waiting but continued to ignore us. Although the parsnip soup was very tasty, I was told that I would have to pay over a pound extra for wheat-free (gluten-free) bread, which was not cooked fresh on the premises. I have NEVER been asked anywhere to pay extra for this and as I declined paying extra, Mannings should have knocked the cost of bread off the price. In addition the coffee, although very nice, was almost cold. It’s a great building. This is not a particularly cheap place to eat. I rarely treat myself to a meal out... And as all I had for my money was a bowl of soup, a little grated cheese and a semi-warm coffee, I will, sadly, NOT be returning.

We visited this cafe/store as it was recommended to us by a lady in the grocery store up the hill. We asked her about cafes with good wifi and coffee and she suggested this one. We were so grateful as we ended up going three times, mainly for the wifi and coffee and because well, the title of this review pretty much says it all!The location is great, the wifi is excellent, the coffee was excellent, the staff were amazing and very fit! ;-). ie: I was so impressed because after constantly running up and down the stairs to the kitchen below, they still came to your table with no puffing, and then gave excellent service! ;-). The food was excellent and worth what you pay for it, and we really liked the layout and decor of the place as well. Unfortunately, we probably cant ever come back to this cafe as we live too far away on a little island in the Caribbean sea!

When my soup (£5.95!) arrived it was less than warm and I had to send it back to be reheated. My cake was very pretty, but rather heavy. My partner said his sausages, mash and peas were satisfactory and he was pleased to be able to get a pint of pale ale for £3.90.The cafe/shop is comfortable and nicely decorated and there's a garden for warmer weather. For me the last straw was seeing the lady in charge licking her finger to separate 2 order sheets.

What an unexpected delight! Arrived to a warm wonderful welcome with a menu that was stacked full of treats. The coffee was superb and we all thoroughly enjoyed the range of brunch options!

This is a lovely place to stay we had one night here and we were very well looked after the kitchen staff came in early for us as we had a tight schedule to keep which was appreciated. The food both in the evening and breakfast was excellent would definitely stay again.

Neat out of the way spot on a minor bit of the estuary. Lots of outdoor waterside seating. Nice ale.
