Just back from ordering at the business. Took a dander there and didn't wanna walk back cause I didn't quite get what I asked for. Had ordered beef in black bean sauce, fried rice and spring rolls . Received beef in black bean sauce, NOODLES, spring rolls. And the spice level is almost overpowering. Not tasted black bean sauce this spicy before. I see older reviews claiming the food was bland. I'm guessing they are trying to find the sweet spot with flavour but it's too much this time for this customer. The beef was melt in the mouth though I'll give them that!! Perfect Atmosphere ... no music etc. Just silence. Awkward silence at that and one fella I assume is the delivery driver staring me up and down. Service ... As expected and wasn't busy. So yeah, overpowering spice this time

Been in a hospital for 11 days after having a section with my daughter, she has been in hospital since and I've been staying with her and having to stay in hotels at night because we live so far away and I've been ordering of just eat and am so disgusted at the service, order has came wrong a few times but I let go as if that wasn't bad enough a couple of times while I've been standing waiting on the order i noticed it came up delivered but I didn't receive my food, got a refund once for the food that didn't come but last time didn't, I'm never ordering from just eat again just seen my email saying that I won't get a refund for the money I spent for food that I never received,, just eat needs to sort there delivery men/women

tasty! I ordered Fujian fried rice, which I haven’t eaten in a long time. Although it is not exactly the same as the domestic one, the seafood taste is also good. Very nice food and staff… My friend highly recommended the chicken balls

Dreadful service The guy is so rude He was even picking his nose as he was noting down orders, then passing the plastic bag to people without washing or sanitising his hands. As someone who has lived in China I would expect something more authentic as well. Szechuan should be spicy- it was bland at best.

Excellent food and service and the delivery was great too.

Chips were cold and tasted reheated, you get 4 small slices of prawn toast for £5. Other than that it was fine

Not many takeaways do Spanish Omelette and I am never disappointed by Manning Inn.I hate that they are closed on Tuesdays and that they dont offer free prawn crackers with big orders. I also made a slight change to my order one time and the guy waited for me to give him the 30 pence difference .Just as a was about to go into one he had an epiphany and waivered the charge which is just as well or my onion rings wouldn't have been the only thing getting battered .

The liver was tough and chewy, like shoe leather. It was tender and easily chewed anytime I've bought this dish before.

Very rude staff! Very unpolite and impatient! There’s not even a queue and the staff can’t wait to take our order! He has no idea of their menu and is just straight out rude! I’d give zero star if I could.

The delivery driver went to the wrong place and despite us explaining to him where our house actually was. We ended up having to go to find him on foot as it seemed like he didn't want to follow or directions and actually find the right location.

As with a lot of Chinese takeaways in Belfast now card isn't accepted as payment HMRC need to start cracking down on this, it's obvious what's going on here card payments create a paper trail but cash can be hidden

You asked for replacement inside your order eg no peas but your get charged

Salt and chilli chicken was cold chips soggy and the salt an chilli chips where cold an soggy, gravy chip had powder on it and special fried rice meat was rock hard.

Ordered Combination meat with vegetables which came with free steamed rice. Vege spring rolls. Was a good size and well packaged. They don't accept card. Would go back again.

Everything was delicious, especially the chicken fried rice and ribs. But they forgot my chicken balls so can't give full marks.

Average for a takeaway. Frustrating they only take cash and the front part always looks a bit grubby. The food is ok and the free crackers are a pleasant treat.

Food quality was horrendous. Overcooked, dry and cold. When I called the restaurant to make them aware of this issue they told me 'this is how we do it' you make your food overcooked dry and cold? He then told me it was my fault that I didn't like it and hung up the phone, both the food and customer service is some of the worst I've ever seen! !! AVOID HERE AT ALL COSTS !! Many other Chinese's to get a good meal from but that's certainly not here!!

I have used this restaurant a lot and always go out of my way to order direct from them instead of Just Eat, so that all the money goes to them. The food is usually very good. However last time we rang to say they made a mistake and the guy initially told us we had to bring the food back ourselves(!). When we said we weren't going back out in the rain, the guy said he would "try" to send the delivery driver out with the correct item, but we had to give them back the bag of chips they had mistakenly given us! In many years of ordering takeaways I have never had a business expect this from a customer. So it's very disappointing because I love the food, but the customer service is abysmal at Manning Inn. Incidentally a similar mistake happened at Andersonstown Pizza Guys not long ago - they sent chips instead of the side we had ordered. They immediately apologised and sent the correct item.

Recently had my first carry out from here since student days, some 40 years ago. The 5 star hygiene rating, spotless interior, exhaustive menu, and keen prices make this place a no brainer for Chinese food on this end of the Lisburn Road. Food is tasty and very professionally packaged. It was great back then and it's great now!

Although the food is good, the attitude and anger directed at me tonight, was unbelievable. I simply asked why it was more expensive than usual. Lies and attitude came back at me. I won't be back

Phoned and ordered a chicken curry fried rice and received the wrong order... there was ham all over the rice and I could not eat it. When I phoned to query I was told that this dish always comes with ham which it doesn’t state on the menu. I was not helped any further. The phone was hung up. Me and my work friends order from the manning in around twice a week so you would think for all the custom that we give they could have sent me a replacement meal. Never again will we be ordering from the manning inn. After years of ordering I am left disappointment. Eight pounds for a meal I could not eat. You have lost some loyal costumers!

Ordered a takeaway the other night- salt and chilli chicken, chips and fried rice. Im usually really hesitant trying new places but this one was spot on. Best Chinese i’ve had since moving here last September.

Now I only fancied a salted chilli chip so it is not an extensive review. My chip were as you added chips to a bag of salt. In my favourite Chinese you will get a little fried onion,pepper and chilli peppers to add flavour. I threw most of them out as I could not eat them. This place has been here a while,so I will try again. The chips were also frozen. So poor. At this time I can not recommend.

I had the szechuan chicken which was lovely and spicy. My partner was a little disappointed with her Thai style king prawns as they were deep fried in batter. Prices also seemed high to us compared to those in Donegal. However I've definitely had much worse Chinese takeaways so I can recommend it.

Recently had a Chinese meal delivered to our hotel in Belfast. It was delivered promptly ,we collected in the street adjacent to our hotel.The chicken curry was very tasty ,a little spicier than i normally like ,but it was nice.My wifes sausage and chips was tasty and there was plenty of it . So overall good value thanks.

I always get the salt and chilli beef or the Shezuan chilli beef and it's full of flavour and tender tasty beef. Great prices too so I recommend fully.

Impressive menu, cooked to order. Friendly, food tastes really good... and decent size portions...got another fried rice with chicken Hong Kong style and prawn crackers for later on. Spare ribs in Peking sauce were yummy. Definitely go again...
