Reasonably priced and good food! Best chippy in town.

Always a smiley welcome for me and hubby. Mannings may not be the prettiest, most updated joint around, but it's very reasonably priced, and they use tasty spuds, so the chips are always yummy, whether crispy or not! They are always happy to cook something fresh too. Fish is always excellent! Portions are huge and as a result of the price is therefore excellent value! We try to limit ourselves to once a month, as we should watch the takeaways, but the draw is sometimes too great!

Pretty good fish and chips and friendly service. There were a couple of pre-cooked “large” cod pieces in the warming cabinet when I arrived. Both of them looked rather small so the owner happily cooked me a fresh piece which was a better size (and all the better for being freshly cooked). The fish was well cooked and with a nice thin, crisp batter. The chips were a good size (medium portion) but would have been nicer if they were a bit crisper. Large cod and medium chips cost £9.20 (cash only). Disappointing that the traditional accompaniment of mushy peas was not available on the menu - can’t remember the last time I visited a chip shop that didn’t sell mushy peas.

I have a deep appreciation for this establishment and hold the owners in high regard. Their dedication to providing exceptional fish and chips of commendable quality is truly commendable. Not only do they offer top-notch fare, but they do so at an incredibly reasonable price point, making it accessible to a wide range of patrons.

Fabulous fish and chips from a family run business who have owned and run it since the 80s although apparently the business itself has been going since the 60s. Proper old style vibe, what a find, fish and chips were the best we’d had in a good while

This place does have the best chips in the U.K amazing cold too. The fish portions are adequate but could be better. The last time I had this was 20 years ago and the quality remains. The same people run it. Wow, they didn’t recognise me. Super stomach filler. Won’t be disappointed

The portions are generous for a low price. The staff are friendly and fully get me on the extra salt and vinegar thing. Best chips in Epsom, easily. Cash and take away only old school affordable traditional fish n chips.

Best fish and chips I’ve ever had, whenever I ask for small chips, they give a scoop and a full bag, great value… battered sausages are ace as well.

I must say in terms of chips is probably the best I ever had, they are just to my liking. The fish is also good and fresh but sometimes I might take just the fries and some sausages or pies. Anyway in terms of value for money it's just impossible to get any better. Just now got food for me and my wife for 7£ it's ridiculously cheap but the quality is there

Very Good I would come here again and they are reasonably priced and you get Good value for money 1 large portion of chips can feed 3 people and a Small fish is like a medium fish it's very good I would come here again

I was sceptical about the reviews of Manning’s fish and chips, as they all seemed to be so positive. Today we were passing and decided to try a visit at lunchtime. We had large cod, two cod row, a battered sausage and large chips. Total £7.90 which is unbelievably cheap, but most importantly the food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. Give it a go and see for yourself. We’ll be back regularly from now on.

Great fish and chip shop old school cheap prices and great quality

Amazing quality fish and chips and great value too. We had two large cod for me and the wife and two regular for the kids. Fish was a great size, batter was crunchy and the chips were lovely all for under £20. Love it!!

Exactly what you want from a proper fish and chip shop. Reasonable prices, decent portions, delicious chips. It's cash only but there's a free cash machine just over the road.

The Fish cakes delicious And will be a good idea for children who dont like fish

This is the best fish and chip shop in epsom I think they do really nice chips that are not reheated and it's all fresh . They are so friendly and it's not greasy at all .

There's always one chippy in your local area that has that chip shop flavour and gets it right every time. In Ewell that place to go is Mannings.

Good old fashioned fish and chip shop. Really good cod and chips. Scampi is not great so stick to the fish.

Very good classic fish and chips. William and Tony are great to talk to when I am waiting for my my food. Great to see how the restaurant has developed over time and loved watching young Nim-Bon has grown to my liking. Defiantly a go to if you are looking for the real Epsom experience.

This is my local chippie. When fish and chips ( or pie, or battered sausage) has to be had, this is the place. Cash only, sign says up front, so no guessing! Order a large chips if there are many of you, or if you have ropes and can climb the mountain they serve. If you are near, and want fish and chips, this is the place!

Our local sportscentre ( Ebbisham ) recommended Mannings as the best Fish and Chips in Epsom. Super crispy chips and soft inside. They give you bucket loads of chips , so order a size down or share . The price is very cheap ..
