Manna food corner -Real Kerala Kitchen in Northampton

We had food from Manna last night week and food is so delicious. We had Kappa and fish curry , chicken biriyani and Nidhi. I would recommend this restaurant for traditional Kerala food. They also do party orders within 2 hours distance from Northampton

Visited couple of weeks ago with family around 4pm but we had lunch😁 .Thaadikkaaran served us with a smile 😃 comparatively well planned and balanced menu ,tried kerala porotta with beef coconut(semi gravy)fish curry meals and fried rice for the little boy Everything was tasty and delicious except lack of salt in the moru curry but it was 👍🏻 Mango shake and Falooda was also 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Simple and nice interior and kept clean No designated parking but there is free parking space nearby for 2 hours😁

The biriyani I ordered from Manna was very low quality and quantity, this is the 2nd time I have ordered biriyani from manna. I had a very good experience before but this time I felt like I had chicken curry with rice, it doesn’t taste good also quantity of rice was very low also very poor quantity of pickle and salads . The biriyani is not worth for the price .. very disappointed

One downside is the lack of a dedicated parking area. Visitors need to find street parking, which might be inconvenient at times. Despite this, the quality of the food makes up for the minor inconveniences.

Awesome and variety Kerala cuisine

It's a small restaurant and full of Malayalis lol, so you know it is authentic. We felt like we were in Kerala.

Food and service is excellent. They have got updated menus & i feel there is more options than others. I would always recommend FISH MULAKITTUVATTICHA CURRY & Kappa, Chicken kondattam was also nice. Non veg meals were also a good option if you wanna try rice . Fish Pollichathu was also nice👌

I had dinner in Manna with my family today and it was a good experience for us. This was the first time I tried their food. We tried Parotta chicken mix, fish curry meals and chicken Biriyani. All of these items were delicious. Service was also good.

Manna offers delicious Kerala cuisine in Northampton and has now expanded its menu to include Chinese dishes like noodles and fried rice. A must-try for anyone is their Chicken Lollipop, Chatti Choru (traditional Kerala meal served in an earthen pot), and Chicken 65. Highly recommended for a delightful culinary experience!

I recommend to all very good food

The service was so poor that I’m expecting an equally nasty response here online. This was the absolute worst customer service experience I’ve ever had in all of Northampton in over a decade. Having had the takeout, I was really excited to finally sit and eat inside this restaurant and try a new dish. Unfortunately, the music was so loud and another customer was blasting videos from his phone so loudly That I had to ask him, politely I might add, to wear earphones. Unfortunately, he very aggressively dismissed my plea, and even worse, the shop ownerss became dismissive, aggressive, and certainly their behavior ruins my appetite. I can no longer recommend this place and certainly would never go back. Follow-up: as expected, the owners have posted a response which did not address any of my concerns, making clear they did not buy my business.

This place had been on my list for a while, especially after reading all the positive reviews. We tried the chicken biryani, beef curry, porota, and meen pollichathu. The food was good, but it didn't quite have the wow factor compared to other Kerala restaurants I've visited. I was disappointed that the meen pollichathu was wrapped in baking paper instead of the traditional banana leaf. We stopped by on our way home from London, and while it's worth trying if you're in the area, it's not something I'd go out of my way to drive to Northampton for.

Didn't felt we were eating in a Resturant to be honest.. tasted exactly like home coocked, the flavours were nice. The Place were also clean and tidy. Chatti chor - Quantity is well enough with veg - Non dishes Bamboo biriyani - For a person can easily eat all no doubt. As a Malayali oru kuttom parayathe pokan pato ? 😅 Athukond matram :- Kudicha Mango shakinu thana straw was too small 😂😂 Valich ooopad vaneyy NB : A Must try place you guys will love it 🤞

Fantastic little restaurant which happened to be at the end of our road. Staff very helpful with ordering advice and the food was amazing. We’re recommended the Bamboo Chicken Biriyani which was beautifully spiced. The dry beef curry had a lovely kick but again very tasty. And the parathas… gorgeous!

Their food is one of the best Kerala food I have had in the UK. Chattichoru was really good with more than enough quantities of chicken/beef/fish. Never thought I would like something as Kappa-Egg-Chicken. It was really nice. Falooda was the best I have had in the UK. And the lime juice really brought up some nostalgia♥️ I would really recommend this restaurant if you want sone authentic Kerala food.

I don't recommend this place. If you are running a restaurant you should provide minimum quality food. Prawns we ordered is deep fried with over salted. Beef no comments.. rich chatti choru, couldn't be worse than this.. only positive thing is that the guy who took order treats good.. never recommend to anyone.

I ordered alfaham mandi half take out. Worst mandi ever. Taste- just like a boiled rice. No flavour Chicken also below average. Quantity- I think they joked us. Very low quantity- (delivery)Alfaham is very small. Like a quail not chicken So sad to put review like this. But people need to know before buying.

Literally, one of the best beef roasts and parotta we had in the UK. We also tried their bamboo biryani which was unique and flavourful. Tried 2 types of chatti chor here - fish and the normal chicken and beef one. Really enjoyed the beef/chicken one - heaven! The chicken curry and chicken 65 was also nice with the idiyappam. We ended the meal with some proper Kerala tea (chaya). @risholflavour

I was so badly craving for kerala food and when i had it from here, i felt like I am at a hotel in kerala. We ordered beef roast, chicken 65, chatti choru and beef egg kappa. While everything was delicious my personal favourite was beef roast. I felt beef roast and chicken 65 was less quantity for that price. But chatti choru and kappa was plenty to eat. The staff was good and also we got our food without much delay. Like the place and delicious food. I would recommend it.

The Kingfish Biriyani was good. But the Kerala Chattichoru was exceptional and we really liked it. The ambience and service were pretty heartwhelming and staff were really friendly. Highly recommend to all foodies.

Was not up to the expectation. Parotta was frozen one, expected to be homemade. The kappa was also not too good and not much tasty. But the tea was outstanding. I loved the tea a lot.

I Bought breakfast from them and the egg curry was horrible. It never seems to be egg curry, it was meant to be some thing else. It was a total disappointment for me and my wife.

Very good and nice food. I have tasted different food from Manna foodcorner . Most loved ones are the chicken biriyani, and the beef biriyani too. I would like to you guys most importantly try the King fish biriyani that is really a most delicious food which I would recommend.

had kappa-egg-beef, masala chai and poratta and everything was fantastic! poratta especially was one of the best i have ever had… flakey, crispy and ever so slightly charred on the edges, amazing food and very nice people.

Good restaurant, friendly staff. Ordered Porotta, beef roast and Chatti choru. Food was really delicious and tasty. In Chatti choru beef, chicken, thoran, omelette, curd, pickle, chammanthi, pappad were included.

I am not impressed with the food. The biriyani was average and it was obvious that the chicken in the biriyani was prepared one or two days before. 'Chattichore' was average .Only limited seats were there. Not satisfied with the food they have served.

Lovely meal on a Thursday afternoon, just popped in for a delicious bite to eat. Very fragrant and delicious after recommendation from waiter. Left feeling very full up and hunger pangs satisfied!
