Very upset to see they're a food hygiene rating of 3 which I only realised after eating there. That is not acceptable at this price range at all and show various serious flaws in their cleanliness and food prep. I wrongly assumed a place like this would be a 5 (I ONLY eat in 5s) but should have checked. Hoping they have improved since the last rating.

Had the most beautiful meal here last night. The 7 course set menu was beautifully presented and tasted like nothing I have ever had before. Can not recommend this place enough. The staff are all really lovely. We sat at the pass and chatted to the chefs and had tasters of the wine. Nothing was too much trouble, everyone was eager to please and to explain each course. Kerry was a pleasure and just went above and beyond for us. This is easily the best restaurant in Liverpool.

We had to cancel a visit to another restaurant so on a spur booked an early evening meal. Absolutely amazing meal and experience sat at the counter watching the chefs do their thing. Wonderful service, food and drinks- many thanks to everyone ( cocktails were fantastic). We’ve already booked to return.

I have not had an experience as wonderful as this since we lived in London and used to regularly dine at La Trompette, Chiswick. Absolutely superb food. The most amazing sommelier whose knowledge absolutely wowed us. We will most definitely be back.

We booked a table for 8.15 and arrived around 5 mins before. We were advised the table was not ready but that there was nowhere to sit and wait. They suggested we find somewhere nearby for a drink and come back in 15 minutes. We did so but arriving back at 8.30, the table was still occupied. In the end the couple were given their coats and almost ushered out. Finally seated we were given the menus and ordered some wine. The waiter advised the wine we had ordered was the only one not available. Not a big problem but if something on the menu is not available this should be mentioned prior. It just added to the bad start. The menu on the website seems to be listed as the current menu, but the one on the night was very different. We completely understand menus change for seasonable produce etc, but the menu on the night had a lot less choice. Its only a small menu to start with but reduced to a choice of 3 mains courses and 2 dessert options on the night. We enjoy a break between courses so not to rush through but the service was slow. It was gone 10pm before our main courses arrived. I suspect maybe why our table wasn't ready on arrival. The food itself was excellent and delicious. We can't fault this aspect at all. It just makes the rest of the experience more of a shame really. Most people aren't coming to eat at this kind if restaurant every Saturday night. When you do, it's about the overall experience and unfortunately that's what let it down. We have been to better of this standard in Liverpool.

This restaurant has amazing decor and service was lovely. The mixologist came over with tasty cocktails. Our starters were delicious! Onion tart, beef tartare and fresh vinegar/salt crisps! Mains were average as we shared the duck & cod but needed to order more as the portions were small. For future go with all starters and you cant go wrong!

Very good restaurant in the city - delightful food and helpful staff! The seating is comfortable, and the space is large. There was a bit of a draft near the door but we got offered a different table. Do tell your dietary restrictions in advance: staff does not ask but informs you of what works/does not if you bring it up. The tasting menu is copious and very enjoyable - and the dishes seem to vary from one time to the next, although they are the same ingredients on the menu. Makes it very interesting

We came here for our first dinner in this beautiful city. The menu was perfectly designed, offering a variety of delicious and unique starters, mains, and desserts. We ordered the steak tartare, salt-baked beetroot, roasted duck, ale pork belly, and treacle tart, which served as a beautiful conclusion to this brilliant dining experience. The staff was friendly, and we recommend sitting at the bar if you are in a small group (1 to 2 people) to witness the magic in the open kitchen. Will definitely revisit when we are fortunate enough to be in Liverpool again!

Lovely lunch for two couples, small but interesting menu of small plates, all perfectly cooked and served Lovely ambience but they need to keep an eye on the background music, the waitress told us the chefs like it loud, well most diners DON'T It may be louder at night, I hope not as that would prevent us returning then Very friendly but unobtrusive staff, wine not a huge mark up Easy walk from Albert Dock, Arena and Chinatown/ Ropewalks and Baltic areas We will be returning.....thanks guys

A fabulous experience, we sat at the kitchen bar, great seats , we got to watch the chefs in action, look at the food coming out so we could base our food choice on what we could see The food was very well presented, delivered by the chef with a full explanation and full of flavours We felt very relaxed, not rushed at all Felt like a Michelin star restaurant Highly recommend- we will be back !

Celebrated my wife's 50th here. Slightly difficult to find, because GoogleMaps can't find the place, but it was worth it! We arrived at 2:45 on Friday, as it was the last seating till the evening service, which was fully booked. Food, wine choices, service and ambience were all impeccable. Perfect for a special occasion.

I've eaten at Manifest four times, including hosting two private events here. I can't praise the food and the team highly enough. On each occasion the food has been exquisite. My main issue with not giving 5 stars is the portion size compared to the price! The mains are currently priced at Michelin star levels, but the portions are unreasonably small. The restaurant itself is compact, with a large curtain dividing the entrance. It has two tables for six, three for four, one for two, and six counter seats. The seating along the wall is padded for comfort with abstract paintings leaning casually against the brick walls. The tables are stone, contributing to an industrial aesthetic complemented by exposed ceilings, metal beams, and a display of bottles on wooden shelves. Lighting is focused and low, with beams directed at table height. Noise levels are moderate, heightened by the limited soft furnishings, and sitting near the door was uncomfortable as cold air still seeped in despite the curtain. Cocktails: The “Wake Up Call,” featuring yuzu, cachaça, Manzanilla sherry, champagne cordial, aloe vera, and basil oil, was a standout. Served with three drops of basil oil, it was beautifully balanced—sweet, sour, and citrusy, with fresh notes shining through. Starters: The beef tartare was visually stunning, served atop olive paste with crispy bread. While delicious overall, some pieces of tartare were slightly chewy. Mains: The turbot dish was undeniably complex and well-executed—a fried fillet served with a half scotch egg, celeriac purée, and green sauce with caviar. However, at £35, the portion was shockingly small—approximately 100g of fish. Adding another 50g would still leave it modest for a main course. Outstanding place! I don’t think words can describe the quality of this place! Honestly after awful experience in another michelin star restaurant i became hesitant to use fine dining experience however i was looking for a special place to take my fiance after proposing to her. I couldn’t choose any better! From stepping in i knew straight away i made the right choice. Food? Beautiful and delicious! Being able to sit in front and see the passion that is beeing brought to the plate was also perfect option and make it even more special! Every single dish was just right but the pumpkin soup(on a picture) was something out of this world. One of the best (if not the best) dish we ever had! Service? So welcoming and passionate! Atmosphere? I could tell every single person working there that they do enjoy it. With perfect choice of music and style of the place we felt so so good! Also massive applause for choosing the right drink for my fiance, she is pregnant and they made her a moctail with non alcoholic gin we never knew about and she is indeed gin fan! Thank you!

We had a gorgeous meal in Manifest. The food was delicious and so much thought and care was put into each dish. The atmosphere and surroundings were cosy and comfortable and we had a great view of the chefs in action from our seats at the counter. The cherry on top was the lovely waitress from Belfast who went out of her way to help us, giving us some great recommendations of things to do in Liverpool. Fantastic food in a small, cozy room. We had the chef's menu with 7 beautifully prepared dishes. Well balanced flavors and beautifully presented dishes. Where many meat dishes on tasting menus feel like a necessity and something that rarely impresses, these were truly fantastic dishes. Just perfect. Went for a well needed date night and we splurged and went for the chefs tasting menu. Most of the dishes we hadn’t ate before (scallops, oysters) and what a delight everything was. The lamb scouse was sensational along with pretty much everything else. I would go as far as to say it was the best tasting menu we have had. Simply exceptional.

So I came up here on an overnight stay and searched on Google for restaurants and saw this little gem. What can I say this was a great experience. The salt and vinegar hand made crisps were amazing. Best meal I have had in the city. Tried the carafe of Spanish Mersilea wine which was beautiful. If you like to be full you will need a snack a small plate and a main but the food was exceptional. Only ate from the a la carte menu you can have a taster of several things cooked in front of you at the chef's table. Try that myself next time as will be definitely returning.

Easily the best restaurant in Liverpool. Modern fine dining in a beautiful but relaxed setting. Our server (believe her name was Kelly?) was so friendly, recommended some excellent wines, and made us feel right at home. She also chose my partners dishes for him as he didn’t know what to pick, and he loved every single one of them. The food here is just fantastic. It’s fresh and exciting, and every plate is a little work of art. The price point is also great for what you get - quite frankly I think this place is massively undercharging, I would have happily paid more. I only managed to get one decent picture of the food because I was just too excited to eat it! I’d recommend requesting the chef’s table to anyone thinking of dining here. Watching the chef’s work together/around each other to make the dishes is incredibly entertaining. Dinner and a show! Love this place, have been a couple of times now and will definitely be back.

Fantastic place. Some big punchy flavour that outclassed some other great places we’ve eaten that have a Michelin star. Lamb with sweetbreads, best lamb dish I’ve ever had. Ambience is industrial/chill/luxury, very cool and contemporary, wait staff are attentive, love the open kitchen. Can’t recommended enough. We will be back.

Totally amazing food experience. We sat at the chefs counter, a great call as we could see everything being carefully plated by the chefs. We went for the chefs choice menu, a six course menu that left us well fed and really impressed by the quality and flavours on show. Service from the FoH team was really professional and friendly. Highlights were the house Negroni which was a really tasty twist on the classic, the slow cooked beef feather blade, poached oysters, custard tart with rhubarb, honestly it was all a hit. I will say, it was quite expensive, but that’s to be expected for this level of food and service. Great work team.

Loved Manifest. Took my partner here for his birthday and everything was just perfection. We had the homemade crisps and the onion tart to start. Our main course I had the guinea fowl and my partner had the venison, it was all so tasty. The wine paring was excellent too and the sommelier was really passionate about what she was serving. Went for the chef's choice option and was not disappointed. We were served by a very friendly and knowledgeable member of staff who explained our dishes in detail. The food was 1st class and not pretentious in any way and the prices very acceptable, considering the quality on offer. I will definitely be back

We had a excellent meal at Manifest to celebrate my birthday. The service was excellent and the food delicious without exception. It was altogether a wonderful evening. My only gripe was there being only one available toilet, which lead to a constant queue forming next to our table. We would definitely visit again.

Food was very good, well executed and tasted great, had the set menu and enjoyed moving through the courses and was just about full on finishing. The wine pearing was also very good as recommended. The food and wine felt worth the price. Our server was not good, cold arrogant and not helpful. Did not attempt to explain anything, seemed more keen to go back and chat with he kitchen staff, would have left a bitter taste if not for the quality of the food. The ambience was nice in theory, though there was an extended period of cutlery clattering from the kitchen which made conversation difficult at our table, which was annoying but went full circle to amusing for how long it went on for. sounded as if they were a bit behind in setting up in general which made for a bit of a off mood for the start of our meal. Was much better when the place filled up a bit as the meal went on. Look forward to going back but perhaps in the evening next time. Hope for better service and ambience as these were not great and I don't think it's what the place is striving for. Would be hesitant if the issues encountered are persistent as it's not cheep.

My favourite Liverpool restaurant is the Art School and I measure all others against them. Having seen excellent reviews for Manifest did seem like worth trying. Unfortunately Manifest does not compare well and I was not impressed, We had the set lunch menu which I have to say was not cheap. The starter of a bowl of salt and vinegar crisps was something I could have done without and not what you would expect for a quality restaurant. The other courses were Ok but really pretty average. Service OK. Experience OK. Food not food enough and overpriced and I will not go back again,

We decided on chefs choice menu and wine flight and couldn’t have enjoyed a better selection. Oysters to start, hen of the wood mushroom then my absolute favourite, venison loin. A lovely slice of Wensleydale cheese with bara brith and finished with a meringue and blackberry compote. The service was faultless, each course and wine were fully explained, great wine knowledge too. We loved our first visit and will definitely be back.

From the moment we walked in we were made to feel welcome. The staff were so friendly, helpful and explained the menu, including the drinks. The food was off the scale, the hen of the woods and the loin of venison were to die for. Everything was just great, a wonderful experience and I have to say some of the best food I've ever tasted. Can't wait to go back.

I can't describe this to anyone. I'm honestly not sure there are words. The food is just, I can't find the right word, mind blowing. It's an immersive experience that will be different for each person and when you realise what the menu is doing, the greatest reveal I think I've known. If anyone from 8 reads this, thank you. That Stilton ice cream will live with me forever

Perfect brunch, waffles were epic and really filling. Had excellent options for vegan/plant based. Service was really good, really nice atmosphere with great background music playlist! Was a strong start to our day. Highly recommend.

Cheese and chilli jam toastie was INSANE and the Nutella and kinder Bueno hot chocolate is out of this world. Customer service and attention to detail in Fika can't be faulted. Superb every single time. Highly recommend!!!!
