Mango Tree in Cardiff

Another wonderful meal and great service from Saj and the team highly recommend our fave place 💙 the best Indian we have been to in a long time !!

Really appreciate the support from Mango Tree tonight. My order arrived exploded with the majority of my one curry sitting at the bottom of the bag and the second missing half of its sauce. The team made me up a fresh order and delivered it within 30 minutes and it tastes delicious. I hate complaining, but accidents do happen and really appreciate the service tonight in getting it fixed . Thank you!

Came for a birthday meal and the service was excellent, super friendly service and the food came out fast and hot. It was delicious and they had take away boxes at the ready before we even asked. Will definitively be eating again here! :)

We ate in the Mango Tree tonight and had the most delicious meal. I had a biryani which was a huge portion and probably the best biryani I have ever tasted. We also had the chilli chicken and an aloo saag - again, it was all fantastic. The waiter/owner Saj was a delight, really friendly and chatty. This is now going to be our regular Indian restaurant! I would recommend it to anyone - definately 5 🌟

Had a lovely experience at the Mango tree. We had the Thursday banquet. The food was delicious, portions were huge, and staff were very helpful and friendly. We'd definitely come again.

The food was fantastic, the service by Kobi was also fantastic. I would recomend this place for there food and service.

I've been a regular at the Mango Tree for quite a few years now and Saj and his Team have done a great job in building a successful Restaurant. When I visited tonight, a Thursday, it was busy despite being quite early. Always a good sign. The menu is extensive so there's always something new to choose if you so wish. I went for the Mushroom and Paneer Biryani. You won't get this elsewhere. It's really tasty. I also have to give a shout out to Shane the Delivery Driver. You're guaranteed to get your food in double quick time.

Myself and my son had the “Thursday buffet” today, this place has become our go to Indian restaurant/takeaway. It was any starter, any main, any rice, any nann and ice cream to finish. I had a bottle of “Roar beer” my son had a bottle of magners & a single JD with coke and it all came to under £50! Thank you to Abdul & his team we will see you soon.

Staff very friendly. Thursday is a set menu buffet for £16.95 and more than worth the money. Had to take some home for next day. Only negative, and this may be picky, but slightly salty.

Lovely food. Prefer a take out tbh due to it being loud when full and lacking in atmosphere. Bill at the end wasn't the best so you couldn't really make it out. Probably wouldn't dine in again but would get a take out

Ordered a Take Away for 8 arrived 6:30 not ideal. Riata sauce awful plus chips not cooked. Chicken Tikka Massala bland. Thought we would try the Mango Tree disappointing.

Arrived 10:32 as an ambulance driver on break and he refused to serve me in the restaurant saying I was 2 minutes late to dine in but he'd do me a takeaway - to eat in the ambulance. Restaurant closes at 11:00. I'll say no more.

Ordered a take away from the Mango Tree last Saturday after disappointing food from other take always in the village. Very pleased, delivered by a very pleasant young man. We ordered two different biryani, with a sag aloo, both were very tasty, portion sizes were generous, very happy, will definitely use again. Thank you Mango Tree.

Umm. Tasty enough but I was put off by the excessive use of food colour. The mint yogurt was a shocking green and my main was a very deep red

Chicken tikka was dripping in oil and didn't taste at all like the tikka I know and love,onion baj no taste the same goes with mint sauce , biriani was nothing special, had a korma sauce which was tasty would definitely not return

Mango Tree is a gem! The food was flavorful, portions generous, and prices reasonable. The staff were friendly and attentive. The Chicken Chaat and Chicken Sizzler were both spicy and moreish. Haylz enjoyed the Tikka Masala but found it a bit spicier than other versions she’s tried. The Hyderabad was a standout for me, with medium spice and rich flavors, reminiscent of a Bhuna and Madras hybrid. Roar Beer complemented the meal perfectly. Definitely worth a visit! Thanks Saj and Red for great service.

I loved my meal at Mango Tree! The flavour’s were incredible, particularly the lamb kolapuri and the onion bhajee. The staff was very welcoming and attentive. Definitely a great place in whitchurch for delicious Indian food! 👍👍
