Consigliatissimo! Ottimo cibo. È come mangiare in un buon ristorante in Italia, ma a Londra, davanti a St.Paul! Prezzi umani e servizio gentilissimo e veloce.

Io e la mia ragazza abbiamo avuto il piacere di mangiare in questo piccolo locale molto accogliente una ottima pasta fatta in casa! Abbiamo preso i Cappellacci con ripieno alla parmigiana conditi con sugo di mascarpone e speck, e ravioli ripieni di ricotta e basilico conditi con un sugo di pomodorini e salsiccia. Bello il fatto di poter abbinare la pasta con il sugo che si preferisce. Proprietario molto gentile, ci ha anche offerto della ottima focaccia Barese. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, per essere a Londra si mangia bene e si spende il giusto! Italian approved

This was a wonderful surprise. Close to St Pauls and on the way to the Millennium Bridge, this place is tucked away - look for the Mangio sign. I had the Ravioli with ricotta cheese, basil tomato, and oregano sauce. It was delicious!

Tiny personalised Italian shop, scenically set with tables outside facing St Pauls one direction and Millennium bridge & Tate the other. Served in take-away containers, a selection of inhouse cooked food. We had the spinach & ricotta ravioli with cream, and tomato sauce which were heated in a pan in front of us, followed by a little pot of tiramisu which were ideal portions, tasty and good value. The service was friendly, co-operative and welcoming, so much warmer than a chain-restaurant. I would definitely go again.

Semplicemente fantastico. Tutto buonissimo. Ottima scelta di paste e di sughi ma anche di dolci. Prezzi bassi. Idea vincente.

Posticino piccolo, carino e funzionale gestita e servita da Italiani. Scelta tra 3-4 tipi di paste freschi con diverse salse da abbinare, con la possibilità di mangiare sul posto ( circa 15 posti ) oppure si può prendere da portar via. Hanno anche una scelta di pizzette, focaccia. Personale super simpatico e cordiale. Unica "pecca" ,ma comprensibile, non c'è la toilette.

Dopo aver visto il Tate Modern, in due ci siamo fermati in questo posto ITALIANISSIMO per mangiarci due porzioni di pasta. Da italiani, ci hanno spiegato quali tipi di pasta da poter abbinare alle varie salse (cacio e pepe, ragu ecc). Buonissimo e anche i prezzi sono molto accessibili considerata la citta’ carissima. Complimenti!

Siamo stati in questo locale a pranzo due volte su tre giorni dopo aver assaggiato i ravioli strepitosi sia cacio e pepe che al burro, e ci saremmo ritornati se la nostra vacanza fosse stata più lunga. Una pasta che ti lascia desiderio di rimangiarla, veramente buona, Giulio molto accogliente e premuroso. Bravi ragazzi 💫💫

Ho scelto questo locale dopo aver letto molte recensioni positive che sottolineavano l’autenticità italiana della cucina proposta, mi è spiaciuto constatare che non corrispondono alla realtà. Tra le due opzioni di pasta all’uovo ripiena disponibili, ho scelto i cappellacci al gorgonzola: pochissimo e liofilizzato il ripieno, completamente insapore, e pasta veramente troppo spessa e nodosa. Un prodotto che può soddisfare solo una clientela non italiana. A Londra non è difficile trovare cucina italiana di qualità, anche in quella zona. Unica nota positiva il prezzo: £8 per una porzione.

If your stopping for an iced coffee, reconsider. I ordered two iced vanilla lattes which were made warm and then a few ice cubes added. When I asked for more ice as it was warm the customer service was poor. The man was very rude and dismissive. I should have gone to Costa.

I was there with my family and we didn't want to go for fast food. We found this place just after the bridge. Wow amazing experience, delicious food and nice owner. My family and kids enjoyed the place. Thank you !!

I feel bad to write this because the place is in a nice spot, well thought, with a nice design and concept. Unfortunately the cashier was unhappy with us being there for lunch because he was in hurry to leave (in was 3 pm, we were not there at the end of the program). The cook was unhappy also because the cashier was leaving earlier, so we were in the situation to have our lunch with the two of them angry and arguing, not having any problems that we were in the restaurant. About the food - the pasta a bit uncooked, the sauce nice. I would not go back because of the atmosphere.

This spot is tucked away just off the main road but is definitely worth the slight detour if you're in the area! The restaurant offers a choice of pasta shapes and sauces, as well as meal deals including a salad, bread and a pudding. You are able to see the pasta being cooked fresh whilst you wait. There is not a lot of space within the restaurant, so be prepared to wait or find a spot outside to eat. All food is provided in portable containers which makes it easy to take away. Myself and my partner has the regular meal deal and it was the perfect lunch portion. The price was reasonable for the quality. You really felt like you were receiving authentic Italian cuisine, which was a real treat. The staff were friendly and helpful in making recommendations.

Super friendly staff even though he was on his own and I got some vegan treats! Very helpful and tasty cake. Pasta looked very good! Always pass by, but never really looked twice at this place. Tip to owners, do something about that abrupt threshold as it is a little strange stepping in to the shop from outside! Very happy here, and they accept cash!

Sadly I think this restaurant might be under new ownership? The pasta was nothing like the pictures on here and it seems the chef could have changed? The pasta that is shown in the window is not the one they cook for you - we had a regular dish for £8 and what arrived was an extremely thick and chewy pasta with little to no filling. It wasn’t even in a shape? We actually couldn’t even finish one dish between us. The location is nice but the ambiance left little to be desired - the staff were impolite and having a shouting match all throughout our meal. Would not recommend.

Abbiamo trovato il posto per caso visitando Londra, una gentilezza e accoglienza veramente fuori dal comune. La qualità del cibo è veramente ottima (consigliati cacio e pepe e tortelli con il sugo), il servizio degno di lode e i prezzi più che onesti. Vivamente consigliato per un pranzo italiano veloce tra una visita e l'altra.

Se siete a Londra e sentite la nostalgia di un buon piatto di pasta come a casa vostra, è il posto migliore che possiate trovare. Personale gentilissimo e prezzi più che convenienti, se aggiungiamo a questo l'ottima pasta fresca e i sughi più che saporiti otteniamo il mix perfetto. Abbiamo saziato la nostra voglia folle di cibo italiano rimanendo più che soddisfatti. Tutto ottimo, consigliatissimo!

This was a surprise find near St Paul’s Cathedral on our way to the Millennium Bridge. Although it’s a small (homemade) pasta cafe they also have a cafe offering. Delicious pastries, moist muffins and tasty chocolate salami. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate were good. We sat outside but I think there are bar stools inside. So affordable. Can recommend.

Loved it; highly recommended staff was very friendly and provided an explanation of how the menu works, the pasta was absolutely delicious and quickly served. Fair priced and good portion sizes. A must go back to try other options the menu ! I had the Pecorino cheese & butter/truffle sauce and I must say one of the best I have tasted so far.

Posto piccolo per un pranzo veloce dove mangiare pasta fresca ,ho provato i cappellacci ripieni di zucca al burro e tartufo ma di italiano non avevano nulla a mio parere erano vuoti e il condimento era sciocco..

Las descripciones de la comida podrían ser mejores, creo que ordené algo incorrecto, pero fue muy agradable y vino con algunos lados. El tamaño de la porción no es enorme (a pesar de ordenar grandes) pero eso no importa. Volvería a elegir.

The meal deal is an amazing value and the pasta is extremely good. Between the two of us we had one meal with dessert and one without as the Tiramisu provided is enough for two.

What a nice little unpretentious whole in the wall kind of a place restaurant between St Paul’s Cathedral and The Millenium Bridge. The most delicious pasta, delicious Tiramisu, really nice fresh salad and a “fuyatel” at great prices and very nice service, and excellent cook.

This is what you’re looking for if you want a quick bite that’s delicious. Great ravioli!There’s no seating but you can eat standing on a high table outside. The coffee’s good too.

On our way to Tate Modern between St Paul’s and and the Millennium Bridge we stopped here for coffee. Excellent quality. The pasta dishes looked scrumptious but bad timing for our needs.

Pasta de calidad realizada al momento, con salsas a elegir a un precio inmejorable. Por si fuera poco justo al lado de la Catedral de St Paul. Puedes tomarla para llevar y disfrutar de la misma en la plaza.

In una giornata piovosa, uscendo dalla Tate Modern, e, dirigendomi verso St. Paul’s Cathedral, alla mia sinistra incontro MANGIO, un grazioso piccolo ristorante gestito dal Sig, Francesco (romagnolo doc), persona molto gentile e ospitale. Decido di mangiare i cappellacci (pasta fatta a mano) ripieni di pecorino stagionato e conditi con burro e tartufo nero..squisiti. Concludo il mio pranzo con un pezzo di torta al cioccolato. Lo consiglio caldamente sia per la qualità del cibo che per la gentilezza del proprietario.

Solía ir allí regularmente como solía trabajar en el área. Recientemente regresé a Londres y me complació encontrar el lugar ocupado como siempre, debido a la increíble comida fresca.

Hemos parado en este sitio siguiendo recomendaciones positivas de tripadvisor y no ha defraudado! 2 clases de pasta rellena y 3 tipos de salsa a combinar, a demas puedes coger ensalada y/o focaccia, aunque con un plato de pasta te quedas lleno. Cada plato £7! Un gran acierto. Lo unico que me ha faltado es mas espacio para sentarse a gusto, pero para una parada tecnica antes de entrar o saliendo del Tate Modern Museum, esta perfecto.

Abbiamo chiamato per prenotare, ci è stato risposto (in italiano) che non accettavano prenotazioni e che però non ci sarebbe stato problemi di posti. Abbiamo anche chiesto a che ora si chiudeva la cucina e ci hanno detto alle 21.30/22.00. Siamo arrivati alle 21.00 e il personale stava pulendo la cucina.

I made a mistake and tried to make a booking for dinner. The owner was great on the phone explaining they don't take bookings and they only have a few stools at the window bar for there's no space in this broom-cupboard of a location. But it's the pasta that counts and that was excellent, (I doubt the sauces were as home made as the tagliatelle.) The service was really friendly: the two of them - no space for more - really put themselves out to make room for this group of half dozen idiots who'd chosen to dine in a takeaway that serves no alcohol. Still the apple juice was nice,

Io mio marito e nostra foglia siamo stati in vacanza a Londra e uscendo dalla cattedrale di S. Pual cercavamo un posto dove pranzare. Abbiamo notasto questo locale piccolo ma carino e pulito. Noi abbiamo preso 2 Ravioli e un Cappellacci al pomodoro e origano. Veramente squisito. Lo chef molto bravo e gentile come il resto del personale. Consigliamo a tutti di passare da MANGIO per un pasto sul posto o Take Away ! H

Abbiamo ordinato due menù che la casa proponeva. Contenevano due “piatti” di ravioli tradizionali, due porzioni di insalata, 4 fettine di pane e due bibite a scelta per un totale di 20,60£. Era tutto molto buono, rapporto qualità/prezzo conveniente!

When visiting London we have lunch here. Handmade pasta never disappoints you! This time we visit our son Jack starting a work in London only a week ago. For us it was an emotional moment and we hope for him best things in this city that we love particularly. We were looking for a late lunch and this restaurant/bistro in the city centre was a miracle. The place is small but the lady (owner?) adviced us nice nice combination of pasta and sauce and was very nice.

Siamo stati in questo posto un po' di tempo fa durante le nostre vacanze a Londra, che dire locale piccolino ed accogliente e con cibo top, quando tornerò a Londra tornerò anche qua :)

A Londra per svago con mio marito e mio figlio di 8 anni, stanchi di fast food e cucina inglese, e soprattutto per soddisfare la voglia di pasta di mio figlio, abbiamo pranzato in questo piccolissimo locale che dispone di alcuni sgabelli (se la giornata è bella si può mangiare sulla scalinata di fronte godendosi la vista del millenium bridge) e siamo rimasti veramente colpiti! Si poteva scegliere tra 3 tipi di pasta fresca e una decina di condimenti, mio figlio ha preso i ravioli al ragù ed erano ottimi, mentre io ho optato per un'insalata con normalissimo pane (che è difficile da trovare) abbondante e con ingredienti freschi. Personale gentilissimo e prezzi assolutamente adeguati. Bravi!

Si deve essere sinceri...a Londra il cibo non è proprio al top e quindi già che ci si deve barcamenare x trovare qualcosa che non siano hotdog, hamburger o tramezzini, quando trovi un posticino non molto grande ma che ti propone piatti fatti in casa come i tortellini di carne o agli spinaci e ricotta..beh io una puntatina la farei.....noi (in quattro) abbiamo cenato con poco più di 8 sterline a testa per un primo con bibita.

My family had a full day of tours between Westminster abbey and then St. Paul’s cathedral. After climbing to the top of the cathedral we were ready for a close lunch. Mangio’s was some great pasta at a reasonable price. Highly recommend!

Veramente un angolo d’Italia a Londra. Per la precisione un angolo di specialità romagnole proprio di fronte alla cattedrale di St. Paul. Mangiati ravioli e cappellacci al ragù e salsa al pecorino. Pasta freschissima e buonissima. Accoglienza perfetta e prezzi onestissimi. In tutti i miei soggiorni londinesi la migliore esperienza culinaria. Anche il caffè ottimo all’italiana.

Fine handmade pasta as you get it in Italy. Fast serving and small but excellent and regularly changing menu. Really good choice for a quick and delicious lunch. Very friendly staff as well.

Sono stato a mangiare in questo localino, situato a 2 passi dal TATE MODERN, in diverse occasioni, in compagnia della mia ragazza e di alcuni amici.

Service: Quick and friendly, explained the fresh filled pasta options and sauces available as well as the daily pasta special. The food was freshly cooked and did not take long.

So many good options. Stuffed Cappellacci, and ravioli are some of my favourites but i haven't gone wrong yet, so try anything and you won't be disappointed!!

I stumbled on this place in January and went back a couple of days ago. Small space and very friendly and helpful team but the star is the fresh pasta made on the premises. Last time I had ravioli with an Italian sausage ragu. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce was light and tasty. Amazing place. Love it and will be back again and again

I came here once almost a year ago and although the lady and gentleman I believe run the place were extremely friendly, i was a bit underwhelmed with the portion size and the quality of the pasta and felt that it probably wasn't aorth the money or worth returning.

Mangio it’s, hands down, the best homemade pasta takeaway in London. The pasta and menu changes quite often and always for new and super tasty choices. Prizes are ok as portions are pretty good.

Repas pris sur le pouce dans cet endroit avec des très bonnes pâtes fraîches avec sauce tomates basilic à tomber par terre . Toute petite salle mais deco tres sympa. Personnel tres accueillant et pro . Parfait pour un repas rapide entre 2 visites (tate modern et st Paul's cathedral)

Podrían recordar una familia sudafricana en su último día en Londres buscando el desayuno. Desde sandwiches, ravioles de desiertos que teníamos una bolsa muy variadas, pero qué sensación gusto y placer de comer en su establecimiento. La experiencia fue aún mejor teniendo en cuenta que éramos las únicas personas allí ya que era muy temprano y disfrutamos de la conversación personal con los propietarios. Muchas gracias por el maravilloso tiempo y si regreso a Londres sin duda pop para una comida.

This was a delivered lunch to our offices and the artichoke salad arrived without artichokes and with no dressing.

Stopped off here for coffees and some wonderful pastries before heading over the bridge to the Globe. The coffee was perfect & pastries light and oh so tasty as we sat on the provided stools and watched the world rush by. Wish we'd had time to come back here for the pasta as it looked delicious (Oh well - something to look forward to next time we are in the UK !)

We ordered two coffees and a pastry with ricotta and orange. After biting into it, I thought, who needs to ever eat scones when you have a pastry like that? Delicious, one of the best things I ate in London. I want to go back to try the pasta.
