To be honest, they were a last resort, but came up trumps! The service was friendly and attentive. The food was ready when they said it would be and was delicious, very well cooked and enjoyed by all the family at my dad's 90th birthday. I should have gone to them first, not last - I'd have saved myself a lot of time and stress. Having moved away, I hadn't bought from them for over forty years, but now I'm back in the area, I'll be using them again.

Never had a bad meal here before but after this I won't be returning! On my way home from the pub I decided to treat myself to a meal for one, Beef curry, egg fried rice, 2 spring rolls and 4 chicken balls. Got home with my mouth in trim only to be totally dissapointed with my meal. The beef curry had such an awful taste I threw it in the bin, the egg fried rice was to dry but the chicken balls and spring rolls were eat able. Very dissapointed

Been going to this Chinese for years tried quite a lot of other places but nothing comes close to the Mandarin their Curries are lovely , crispy chicken, crispy beef,Duck pancakes duck off the bone unlike some places, King do spare ribs all the most gorgeous flavours been run by the same family for years highly recommend. Tried this for first time as bored of our usual Chinese I'm so glad we did food was amazing. Crispy beef was beautiful, rice was lovely and a very tasty curry sauce oh and not forgetting the pancake rolls. All in all 5 stars. Can't wait to try again.
