Mandarin Chinese Take Away in Hillingdon

Do not order on Uber Eats as their prices are twice that of what is listed on the Mandarins menu, the portion sizes are also smaller. Again silly added charges just like Just Eat, charging a service charge, charge you for the bag and then the delivery. Decided I would collect instead, take away in a horrible location, people drinking beers on the benches outside the shop all swearing at arguing at each other, throwing cans on the floor. No parking anywhere. When you finally get into the take away its painted in the most horrendous yellow colour, a small young boy about 10 years old behind the counter on his own taking your order, go to pay and they DO NOT TAKE CARD which is probably a tax issue. There are no cash machines near by. Summary - Restaurant is located in a run down sh1thole, if you see the place you would not go inside, the customer service does not exist, food over priced, portions are small, they dont take card only cash, they miss items off your order and when you call them they say they will give you discount off of your next order, Overall a pain In arse and would not recoment. Order from NEW WING LUCK in west drayton you will not be disappointed.

I am currently in quarantine at a Heathrow airport having travelled from a designated red country - so now being back in the UK I thought I would treat myself to a typical Chinese meal and something I don't normally vary away from.. Sadly, and mistakenly, I chose what I thought was the nearest takeaway, a fair price and an explanation of exactly what I wanted from the menu. The resultant delivered meal was so far away from the menu, I might as well had ordered in a foreign language. 5 ingredients listed, 3 of them missing - absent without leave. What's my recommendation - if you're a captive in the red zone quarantine hotel nightmare, don't order from the Mandarin.. they have no respect for your order and even when you phone them - they don't give a fig

Place a order online at 6.30pm and still waiting at 8.30pm, phone the take-away to be informed they were short-staffed, told it was on it way at 7.30 then phone back at 40 minutes late to be told it was still preparing the food will be 10mins. Food has arrive!!!!! Waited 2 hrs: Disgusting customer service, WILL NOT BE ORDERING FROM THEM AGAIN, DUE TO THE SHOCKING SERVICE. Food arrive at 8.35pm , food was cold, dry, not enjoyable not even eatable. No fortune cookie on delivery either. TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED and was offered discounted on next offered however the chances of ordering again are limitless.

I thought I’d treat myself to a take away on a Friday night, after a ridiculously long week. I waited 40 minutes for my food- I actually went there and ordered on my way home. The food was cold, stone cold and the portion was less than half. I ordered the chilly beef and sweet and sour chicken. There were 3 pieces of chicken, one piece of pineapple and three pieces of green pepper in my box. I could’ve probably counted the bits of beef also....but I refrained! The only good thing about it was - a conversation I had with another customer whom was also waiting like a mug ...but got a great tip on a holiday location. Other than that, poor poor poor. Do NOT order from there if you’re hungry...well, you can , but triple up on your order! And I paid £20 for that!!! Very bad!

Have ordered loads of times, but tonight has put me off,over cooked chicken,big bits of veg,to he honest in these times I would expect first class food,but you have let me very down, I have also had put my ribs in the oven as uncooked onions in ribs,I don't think i will be ordering again,see pics,and your customer service needs to be Looked at,the lady on the phone didn't seem to care,offered me 50% of next time,so I returned the food for a full refund,even then the lady didn't seem to care.SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO TO A PLACE THAT TAKES PRIDE IN THEIR FOOD. Don’t know where to start just by even looking @ the food before even dishing it up it looked vile the mushrooms in the bean shoots look like they had seen better days the chicken balls had no flavour @ all & neither did the butter fly king prawns so a total waste of £23

I ordered online and selected my pick up time and the food was ready and hot waiting for me as soon as I stepped in the door. A very humble establishment with a nice little fish tank. Great service from the young man on reception.

Ordered dinner tonight, got what I usually get. Everything was fine except the chicken in lemon sauce, I haven’t had this in a while and didn’t realise they had changed the sauce. On opening the chicken the food smelt revolting, I could barely bring myself to taste it. Called up to complain and they brilliantly agreed to send out chicken with pineapple. While on the phone they stated that the chicken in lemon sauce is also mixed with orange. This isn’t stated on the menu (ordered via just eat).

Absolutely disgusted with the service. We are on holiday with 4 children. We ordered the food to be delivered and as we are staying in a hotel, I specifically asked for some forks and trays to eat it from. I met the delivery driver outside and checked with him that the forks and trays were in. Got back to the hotel room, no forks and no trays. Trays missing is something we could have difficulty worked with. Nothing to eat it with was impossible. I called only to be told "ask the hotel for cutlery" not a chance. I told the rude lady that I wasn't comfortable doing that. It was obvious she didn't care that I was upset. I asked her to collect the whole order, that was and still is untouched, for a refund. She flattly refused. Never again. Customer service is very important to me. We are disgusted.

So last night myself and 5 others ordered a Chinese. The delivery took over an hour and a half. When I called the restaurant for an update a lady answered and told me nothing had come through and she didn’t know what I ordered. She then hung up on me and I had to call again this time she passed me over to a man who tried to work out what had happened in the mean time the delivery turned up the food was lovely but that lady was very rude and I will not be ordering from here again.

Had a take away from here this evening and was the worst Chinese food I had eaten the food was either bland or covered in chilli. The duck certainly wasn’t duck 😬 And my chicken balls were pork balls an awful meal

I have ordered here regularly for many years now, I have never had an issue with them and the food has always been nice. The delivery time is very quick and if there is going to be a delay they tell me. To be honest i would advise not using Just Eat as this causes issues and it is also more expensive so just call them direct it's easier, faster and cheaper.

Used to order from Mandarin all the time, but no longer seems to deliver to Langley (SL3) on Just Eat.

Good food, reasonably priced! The man would not give us 30p off a can of coke even though we spent £30 there! However the food was lovely and cooked fresh. We ordered by phone and picked up 15 mins later. Salt and pepper prawns are delicious!

This is the first time I have experienced poor delivery service from this restaurant. Food quality was good but the delivery service was very poor and customer service was also poor. I did not pay the full asking price for the order which arrive over 30 mins late, even after restaurant adding extra 30 mins to delivery time, I advised this to the restaurant upon contacting them but they did not seem to bothered and wanted to get me off the phone as it was a busy night. Delivery driver advised he would have to pay shortfull unless agreed with restautant. Another call to restaurant and finally agreed on the price to pay so Driver would not be out of pocket.

I usually use mandarin at least once a week - food is usually lovely. Tonight's dinner was horrible, the chips where undercooked and hard and the two different chow meins where inedible. Couple of minor points. The prawn crackers were on the verge of being stale and there were a couple of grisley bits of meat. The BBQ ribs were excellent

The delivery time changed from 35 minutes to 65 minutes. The food was poor quality, sweet and sour sauce was tasteless and the batter on the sweet and sour chicken was stodgy. Chicken chow mein was ok.

We love the food but 1 in every four orders they ignore the dietary request to leave egg out of the rice & noodle dishes. It's always frustrating when they do this as that food has to be donated the following day because we don't eat egg! Leaving us feeling a little less satisfied.

Our meal was very tasty, lots of flavours, only reason it's not a 5 is that the salt and chilli squid was a lot of the soggy side but nevertheless was good.
