Not great, rice was very very dry and I have no idea what satay sauce this is... I won’t be ordering from here again

The food was way too much and way to delicious.

Delivery took more than two hours. I decided to order again today because the food is decent but two hours later it hasn't been delivered yet so I decided to leave a review!

Food was delivery on time and hot, however the quality was really lacking. Two of the spicy dishes has zero heat and the prawn toast had a very odd flavour almost a bit chemically tasting. This place used to be very nice but in the two most recent orders we have been underwhelmed would say its not worth the money which was over £100(6 of us ordered and none of us were happy). We won't be ordering from here again sadly.

Wouldn’t order here again, took 2 hours for food to arrive and when we phoned up to complain they tried to say it’s because we live far away even though the food left them after the just eat delivery window. They also offer free prawn crackers for spending over £20 but just noticed they actually charged me for them anyway. Food is usually nice but the service is beyond a joke now

Came on time, but the food from Lots of Rice is fantastic.

The dodgy delivery driver did the old trick pressing the delivered button before it was delivered. 20 minutes later and still nothing delivered. I have waited over 90 minutes for this. Will not ever use this place ever again.

Nice food every time & on time

Ordered to food at 18:55 and was delivered at 21:00. The app was signed as delivered at 20:17. I called the restaurant at 20:20 to be told 10 minutes. Called again at 20:49 to be told another 10 minutes. This is a complete and utter fail on the restaurants part. The only excuse is that 'it's busy', if it's too busy don't accept the order and leave your customers waiting over 2 hours for food.

Food was tasteless and bland, avoid

Delivery time on just eat said 45-60 minutes but it then said 1 hour to 1 hour 30. We ordered at 6:20, and food finally arrived at 8:05 - 1 hour 45 minutes. The food was ok, but not great. Portion sizes are huge, but some food was cold.

The driver was later than I expected but the food was hot and really big! It was the biggest portion of House Special noodles I have ever seen. I would definitely recommend

Contacted just eat was told going to be late by 15 mins it didn’t arrive called the take away was told it would be 5 more mid it eventually arrived 30 mins late and no compensation given such as a part refund ordered 1 hour before with a specific tim

How is possible to take more than 1:30 min for a order to be delivered and not having the option to cancel it? Never order again

They delivered the wrong food, we to ate it but it was rank. No sauce came with sweet n sour balls, chips were soft and cold.

Food is always great and great servings. They always read and stick to the comments box.and the little bottle of free coke is always a nice surprise. This is the only place I order from.

left the food outside. driver did not wait for us to open the door, prawn crackers were stale and the smoked chicken had some caramel sauce on it and didn't taste smoked. was sickly unfortunately.

Dunno what happened today. Normally top food but for some reason the noodles tasted burnt, smoky today. Could smell it as soon as the tubs were opened.

The good = curry sauce was nice, unlike others my delivery time was earlier than expected and driver was friendly. Crispy chilli beef had nice texture, but slightly on the vinegary side. Generous portions. I received a free small bottle of Pepsi - win. The less good = like others, there is a CHEMICAL TASTE. Highlighting this as it was pretty concerning. The ribs especially tasted like chemicals and the meat was super tender - I hope the meat wasn't soaked in some kind of strange potion to keep it 'fresh'. Rather impressively for a Chinese - no sign of salt in the flavour at all. VERY bland overall. It was passable as a Chinese - as in... if you want to eat a Chinese but aren't really looking to spend loads of money and aren't too fussed about 'wow' flavours - this will be fine. If you're looking for a great meal, and a Chinese to reorder from in future - save your cash!!!!

Nasty food given after paying so much. I needed a vegetarian option and the woman on the phone got quite frustrated with the order. When I picked up the order and brought it indoors, it tasted off, with a bleach infused taste. I regularly order the same food so knew something wasn't right with the food this time. I spat out that portion and took another portion that tasted poisonous again and spat that up also. Called them and they said to bring back the food, so they knew what they'd done to the it! The second woman in the kitchen was giggling and said something in chinese as soon as she saw me returning the food and they refused to tasted or smell the returned food and left it aside to issue refund that they suggested!! Never trust them. Calling trading standards and the health and safety board about that place. If they don't like you, they sabotage your food and they need shutting down. Nasty place with nasty food and some nasty cooks. I won't be setting foot there again! Nasty Lots of Rice!!!

I don't think I recieved the correct order. I recieved prawns with mushrooms when I had ordered Szchuan style prawns and prawn with chilli.

Been ordering from lots of rice for years, food always arrives fresh and piping hot! Never have any issues with delivery or any of my orders, top notch food highly recommend! Kung po chicken is the best!

Ordered a chicken curry which tasted chemical, the rest of my order was fine, I don't know what curry sauce they use, all I can suggest is a change

Prawn toast was OK. Veg was all fresh and still crispy. Sadly Most of the rest of the food wasn’t particularly tasty- the seaweed was very salty. The sweet and sour chicken was dry and chewy (more like fried skin) and the crispy noodles were less crispy and more uncooked/dry. For the price I’d want better quality food. There was indeed lots of rice.

I ordered at 7:15 and it arrived at 8:45. I’m on my own and unable to get out of the house and was so hungry. Was very disappointing service. I had already called the take away and they said it would be earlier than suggested and then I had to call again as it still hadn’t been delivered.
