Mamma's Pizza in Croydon

Dined here after having a big lunch. We only wanted a bowl of hearty soup and found precisely what we wanted in their generous menu. A delicious lentil soup with toast and a glass of wine. Perfect to finish our day. Looking around the restaurant everyone seemed to be enjoying their meal. Not overly crowded and space between tables & booths. I'll be back.

Poor management. Wrong order and was dealt with very poorly. Manager was talking about we are not rishi sunak not sure the relevance?

Ordered a Takeaway took more than an hour still didn’t deliver and was just lying that driver has left. When asked to put a complaint in the manager got angry and started using abusive language . Will never order a Pizza in future from them. Hope Mamas pizza won’t lost more Business because of their manager.

Ordered a large pepperoni pizza from the Norbury branch, London road today 26/11/2021, quoted £13, driver only gives my son £1 change instead of £2. I have phoned 2x to get the right change. The person taking the orders/answering calls was rude and very condescending, said “it’s only £2”, however if I didn’t have the £13 to initially pay, the driver wouldn’t handover the pizza. Been told I will have to wait until the manager is in tomorrow 27/11/2021 to get my money. Absolutely ridiculous.!!! The phone handler needs to attend customer service training. Will NOT be purchasing from this establishment again!!!!

No complaint, except OMG that is the saltiest pizza I've ever eaten. It tasted salty, I knew it was a problem straight away, and as if there was any doubt I drank three pints of water over night (half a pint is normal for me), damn!

They have great collect only deals for one person that you won't see online. Delish pizza and chips 🤤

Food was not cooked properly I had to throw it away will not buy food from them again

Pizza unfortunately came cold , felt like it wasn’t delivered fresh out the oven and traveled to other delivery stops on a cold London night to make it to my door , everything cold and waited over an hour from when I ordered , was 20 mins over my estimate delivery , won’t be ordering again from there

I had to call both uber eats and the company to have my order re-sent for a mistake on their behalf

Food was delivered a bit late, but it's forgiven since the food was still hot and tasty. Pizza slices could have been cut a bit smaller though. Overall nice food with a good discount. Would order again if I ever had a hankering for pizza.

Food arrived 20 min later than initially indicated. I’ve got curtly fries instead of normal. Burger was fine so was pizza overall it was okay but didn’t wow me

Not entirely happy with the order, ordered a meal deal, they didn't send a drink, the burger bun was rock hard, so had to remove the bread....also ordered a tub of ice cream and when opened you could see it had been completely defrosted then frozen again, all other food was okay, wouldn't rush back

I am sorry to be leaving a negative feedback but the pizza was burnt. I also paid for double cheese and yet there was hardly any cheese at all (possibly overcooking melted the cheese too much). Also, apart from the sweetcorn, all other ingrediences were put in a very, very conservative amount (one piece per 3 pizza slices). I was really dissapointed. The driver was really nice and professional though.

I order here all the time the food is great, but the last few times they forgotten to put the drink in.

Considering this is down the road we hoped for quicker deliver like their local competitor. Food came late and the box had been somewhat squashed so cheese and topping were stuck to the top of the box... Not great but probably a one off

The chicken wings sold here are exceptional. The special offer “mini mammas” is a must buy offer whenever I buy from here (frequently) that deal never fails to satiate my palate. Highly recommend buying wings here with the potato skins as they are my favourites.

Food quality was poorer than food I've had from other places for the same price. Regretted choosing this place to order from and won't be doing so again.

The last time I ordered the food was alright, but this time the food was undercooked and they missed the drinks.

Seriously misleading pictures of the pizza. Displayed as lovely neapolitan style pizza and ended being boring, bland, pizzahut-esque pizza.

Everything was piping hot! Wings were especially fresh - a really tasty surprise - as were the cheesy garlic breads.

Had the mini mammas special.. it was certainly special... the sides were a disaster, flavourless chicken wings burnt to a crisp! Not even some good old hot sauce could make them edible. The garlic bread was rubbery.. which is quite an achievement as it’s bread... the pizza was flavourless, some ingredients were burnt...oh and don’t know what happened during transit... but my pizza ended up folding in on itself.. must have been breaking hard on that stylish moped.... the coke wasn’t bad, though I do have slight issues paying full price for polish coke.. me thinks multipack to save money?? Overall this was a disaster.. insult to pizza lovers

Ordered a collection and have been doing for a number of years! Had lots of kids around. When I got home and opened one pizza box it was the wrong one. I rang the man he said yeah we saw we gave the wrong one come and take yours and return the other one. Said that if I wanted it delivered I have to pay delivery although it was their mistake. Then he said ok I will deliver it, it will take 45 mins to 1 hour. So half kids have eaten and half are looking on. My kind neighbour said he will go and swap it round for us. So yeah the remainder got a stone cold pizza. Absolutely disgusting service and I will never ever be buying from here again!

lol we ordered 5 ice creams from here but they were all icey and inedible as if they had been left out to defrost and then refrozen again. We opened all the tubs and they were identical. i havent complained once on JustEat and i just spent £14 on icecream i rung up the shop after JustEat advised me to and they were very unhelpful and rude. i told them that my icecream was unsatisfactory and i got told to come to the shop myself and exchange it for their "perfectly soft icecream" in their freezer. they offered no refund or apology. if you want listeria flavoured ice cream and rude staff that dont care about anything then this shop is for you. im sure their pizza is just as disappointing

you got one of my pizzas from yet again which means we wasnt able to eat it and this is not the first time you have got it wrong

Food was great as always but please make sure your drivers are reading their notes we leave! We clearly asked for them to ring instead of knock as we live in a house share with 5 others. So by knocking 2 other people were disturbed and then had to knock on the other peoples doors to find out who’s pizza it was. Just flat out annoying. The driver didn’t seem too fussed either. Have ordered from here before and it’s never been a problem, but this time the driver failed to read the notes.

Im not a real fan of pizza but Mamma's is different. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients, portion size are massive. I called after placing my order just to confirm the base of one of my pizzas, the phone was answered straight away & I was assured that my order would be how I wanted it. Best pizza around town & thats coming from someone who's not a massive lover.

Food was late by half an hour and one pizza was the wrong one- barbecue chicken instead of veggie hot. The chicken and vegetables were mostly blackened, it’s a shame you can’t upload pictures here. Garlic bread was also over cooked and charred in certain places, which went in the bin. Called the pizza place and was sent a replacement an hour and a half later. I was asked if I’d rather get the pizza ‘another time’ or in an hours time. I’m not sure how they would have arranged a pizza another time but hey, will be ordering from elsewhere next time.

I have just moved to the area, and I am Italian so a thin Margherita was on the cards....they delivered a good standard (and the food) was tasty and devoured in minutes! Will be going back! Thank you

Disappointed as I ordered from here for myself and 2 young children to find the "BBQ pizza" stated was in fact covered in chilli's, mammas would always be somewhere I'd order from first never ordering from here again after this!!

It's okat, pizza bases are soggy though. Fail to understand how a thin crust is soggy

pizza was horrible and greasy but the chicken nuggets were good.

Unfortunately, they could not satisfy me on my reques to do half & half pizza. This resulted in myself eating meat, as opposed to the requested vegetarian, half of the pizza.

Disappointing quality, very doughy thin crust base that I would say was under-cooked, lacking much taste, no better than a cheap frozen pizza. Tough, cheap and uninspiring garlic bread, 4 thin slices of bread from a cheap baguette - not £1.95 worth of food.

I have ordered 4 cheese pizza and it was tasting only cheddare and tomato. No traces of different cheese... Delivery on time and delivery guy very nicw and polite... Food useless

Pizza was bad the base sauce is not nice. Most of it went to bin was shame as was looking forward to food. Chips were soggy. Tried and tested and not using again.

Fantastic arrived bang on time regrettably only three stars for pizza as donna topping very less and wasn't sliced right. Chips and cheese was good,hopefully will take comments on and improve on next order.

I've never come across chips as soggy as these. They flop right down if lifted, it's ridiculous. The chips carton was also squeezed to make it smaller – seriously, who does that? The pepperoni pizza was okay. The chicken pizza was absolutely revolting – I’ve honestly had much, much better frozen pizzas in the past. It was bland and tasteless. It was definitely was not fresh. You can tell that just by comparing the pizza with the pepperoni pizza. It was garbage and we could not eat it AT ALL. I did not get what I paid for. I got in touch and the people at the shop refused to accept that it was not fresh. They said there was nothing wrong with the pizza, essentially accusing me of lying. Absolutely pathetic. I said they could come and collect it from me for a refund but they refused to. They said that I’d need to take it to them and even then I’d only get a new pizza – not a refund. Pizza goes straight to the bin instead. Such a waste. Not to mention that they were also late. They kept us waiting for about 15 mins and we had been fasting all day. Their car was parked outside of our house for a good 10 mins. They could’ve quickly dropped the pizza off then gone off their business but nope. They chose to be late when they didn't have to be. Service was terrible and there was no care in the world for customers. Food was revolting. AVOID.

the only good thing that i can say is that it was hot when it was delivered, out of the two pizzas i ordered the vegetarian was nice but the meat feast had no taste couldnt even taste the bbq base that i ordered for it..

I asked for a thin crust and got a deep pan and no red peppers which I paid extra for, good thing the pizza was still tasty.

Ordered at 21.30, arrived at 24.00... I rang & they had lost order, sent free cake & they said 20min but was another 40min. I get that it was busy but I would have rather cancel then wait that long! Usually great & I'm sure a one off but a really negative experience... :(

Mamas pizza is the best by far, however, poor at following online instructions and raffle up whatever pizza thinking it's ok. The second time not received what I ordered exactly. Better to confirm with the customer before making decisions. If I ask for Mamas sizzler and no peporoni that's what I expect, I like the Italian Herbs and everything, but pepperoni in Mamas sizzler, don't raffle your own stuff without discussing with me. Been ordering this pizza from you for yrs. a week ago you ignored my comments and out pepperoni anyway. Please put your customers first, not your selfishness.

Delivery on time, but got our order wrong and were unpleasant over the phone when we asked to swap the pizza we were given for the one we ordered.

Wings and sides , really good! sadly the pizza was not my cup of tea. Not sure if i ordered the wrong one but i barely noticed my additional sausage toppings on the pizza.

It is always great to get the food ahead of the confirmed time, great food.
