Excellent service, lovely coffee and cake,food is always nice with a good choice, a good range of drinks. Nice relaxing atmosphere in the snug area, and dogs are welcome

Lilly Rowan and Andrew served/made us a fabulous breakfast. All staff were friendly and extremely helpful. All staff looked very happy

What a hidden gem this is was met by Nadia who looked after us night, table service and banter is just what we needed will definitely be back thank you for looking after us

Nadia was brilliant. Such a lovely friendly face and always attentively checking to see if cups were full. The bar in general is a pillar of the local community and does so many wonderful things for the area. Bravo!

Love this place to catch up with my friends, part our friendship ritual! Good coffee and friendly staff. Toilets are clean and well maintained. The waffles on the menu are good too.

Walked past this place many times but never been in. Thought we'd call in this time, but despite it being after 9am and the sign saying they opened at 9am the door sign said closed. We walked past again 5 minutes later and a customer came out to tell us it was open and changed the sign on the door! The waiter greeted us but told us there were no waffles or pancakes available. We decided to just have a coffee to be told there was no decaf coffee (what we asked for) as they were awaiting a delivery. We decided to leave very disappointed and likely won't return.

Always love the vibe here, chilled and fun. Especially love that our dog Roadie can join us. Friendly and fast service :)

Wonderful food and cocktails with lovely service! Super chill vibes and a lovely atmosphere :) They even ran out to get the ingredients for our cocktails when they realised they had run out!

I visited twice on one day, once with my Mum for coffee and lunch (amazing savoury crepe, and loaded fries), and again later that evening with a friend for a cocktail. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and lovely food and drinks

Very nice food, we had the chilli crepe which was unusual and very tasty. The coffee was good also. Staff friendly and welcoming. Why 3 stars? There were a few male customers who seemed to be using this as an afternoon drinking hole. They were nice enough blokes, and clearly known to the staff, but seemed unable to moderate their language to the surroundings. Listening to them regularly using the F and C words a few feet away from you is not great for a pleasant lunch. There were families with young children present also.

This is such a lovely venue, so friendly and welcoming. I really enjoy my usual flat white and tea cake but especially liked the crispy chicken waffle with rocket and balsamic dressing I tried this time. A big shout-out to Abbie, Nadia and Vicky who looked after me, and even sang happy birthday on my special day!

I stumbled across Mamma’s Crepe& Waffle Bar at the Carlton Centre and decided to try is as an alternative to Costa. Can honestly say it did not disappoint! They served decaf coffee with milk alternatives so already a big plus. Then I discovered the menu which has so many savoury and sweet crepes and waffles. I opted for the banoffee after recommendation from the staff. It was delicious, generous portion served hot and fresh. I came in on my own but never felt awkward. The staff are super friendly and engaging with nice level of background music giving a comfortable buzzy atmosphere. I will definitely be back and highly recommend it. Good wifi too. BTW it’s also a bar!
